I'm dealing with Finals this next week and then thats it til Fall again for my second year at college. I cant wait til then.
Oh and I have been doing some shopping to better my wardrobe. Bryan has been picking out my stuff for me, I would love to show you guys but I dont have a camera to take and get them on here. oh well I will come up with soemthing.
What a story. It's a story that I heard long ago that I should tell you about, too. It may help change a life.
At the first glimmer of light of dawn, a young man walked at the edge of the seashore. There had been a storm that night before, and he knew this would be a good morning to find seashells. With pants rolled up above his ankles, he walked along looking down for what treasures he might find.
Then the young man looked up and could barely make out a figure of a very old man bent down to pick up an object from the sand, and toss it into the surf. As he got closer, and the light of morning began to turn the sand pink, he noticed that the old man was picking up starfish that had been tossed up on the beach by the storm. There were thousands of them, but one by one the old man picked then up, and tossed them back into the surf.
Nearing the old man the young man introduced himself, and said, "Excuse me, but there are thousands of starfish stranded here on the beach. You CAN'T POSSIBLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?"
The old man smiled and looked a thim, then picked up another starfish. He tossed it back in the sea. "I CERTAINLY MADE A DIFFERENCE TO THAT ONE, didn't I, son?"
That old man DID make a difference, like someone made a difference for me.
Thank you

(Story has been stortend for standard reasons)
This story helped a man to get relief/cured from pains that hurt so bad. After witnessing his wife go through as much pain as he did before, he when into Chiropratic school.
It takes one person to make a difference in this world, all we have to do is DO IT.
I cut this article out of my Leader newspaper that I get every week and though it would be nice to share it with everyone.
Thank you all for your time to read this, and hopefully you did read it or else you gain nothing.
Well as we all know this place is ghostly. Everyone is leaving or at least thinking about it. As for me I'm not quite sure what I will do yet but I do know that I want to stay in touch with everyone, so please leave me something so that I can get in touch with you guys.
Oh I had my wisdom teeth finally removed on Tuesday morning and wow, what an experience that was. My mom said that the doctors had trouble waking me up and that I started hyperventilating. Which isn't good, and then when I finally 'woke' my mom said that I kept asking her strange questions (she wouldnt tell me what questions I asked) *shugs* And now it being the 5th day in recovery I can eat normally again (except really hard/chewy things) and I find that it sometimes hurts to smile big because they stiched my gums with my cheeks. But other than that I'm fine, I still have a little numbness in my right cheek, and now have to wait for my braces... oh goody.
Other things...
My dad bought some more chicks since the ones we still have are down to 8 and that counts the 3 roosters. They are so cute too, and their all different colors. He picked up some of what I call the 'fuzzy cheeks' because their cheeks are fuzz instead of feathers, and they lay blueish/green eggs. I think their real name is something like Europas. Which just means that they are a mixed breed of European and something else.
Anyways my spring break is almost throu and my brothers birthday is March 31st, hes turning 21. So I guess I will getin touch with everyone somewhere out there. I will miss you all if your leaving and will find you again.
The life as a otakuian is slowly dying out I think. Your always on when nobody else is, you feel lonely and it seems that you never have time or even care to get online any longer.
I'm sure thats how everyone in a sence is feeling when they get on here.
Honestly my computer time is very limited and since spring break has come for me, its time for the removal of my wisdom teeth...oh goody. Cant wait to get that over with.
As for people with other means of forums/blogs or something else that takes your time away. Yensid, as for the MySpace thing, I dont believe in that. I mean everyone in the ENTIRE world has a myspace page and I just dont want to be one of them people.
As for other news
College is fine at the moment and I think there will be a Career Fair soon so I'm looking forward to that.
Well I must take my leave now. You shall hear from me again I promise. (besides who else it going to tell you how my wisdom bulling went) =)
Or maybe goodnight or morning, depends on when you read this.
Have I got an update for you, or maybe its just for me...
Anyways as some of you know, I have struggled with choosing a career path to get on while my attending of college. Currently in one of my classes (Personal Development) the Professor has been getting us students online to do these surveys and what-not that helps us see/deside an interesting career choice to try. As these surveys get done, it gives you what your results are, and categorize a few of careers/jobs that relate to your finished results. Then you choose whatever in the list that interests you, and guess what I chose (at least for now)? I chose Museum Technician and Conservator.
Now doesn't that sound interesting.
Also I found a weird yet neat little video on YouTube that I thought would be perfect to try to get stuff in everyones head. Though if you rather not watch it, don't worry it wont hurt my feelingings.
Now I hope everyone has a good rest of the week and for the Missourians that I live with, hope for the weather to stop weirdingout!
The news in life is important even if you don't think so. And my news is that in the coming month of March, I will be getting my wisdom teeth removed (all four of them). Ouch! Thankfully they will be knocking-me-out for it all. Also when I finish healing from that, I will be getting braces to straighten them out. All this will be happening in March of the whole week starting on the 17th. So nobody will hear from me then.
I at least have a month til all that happens and actually I'm eager to get it over with asap.
As for any other news on my life, its all the same. I still want out of my Steak-N-Shake job. And college is fine for now and I guess you can call it flying by for thats what it feels like to me.
OH for the younger myotakoians there is a site you all could check out that I think would be fun for you all to get involved with. Its called Gaiaonline.com you create avatars that you use as your character and you shop for items and play games and travel towns. Plus you meet new people moslty your age also. Chech-it-out!
Questions? Anything else? Yes there is just one more thing...
Because of the old headsets we use at Steak-N-Shake I have gone partially deaf in my right ear.
HERES SOMETHING TO KNOW for Japan some of you might of not known about, or just didn't take the time to care for. This was found from the site of Jillian Michelle Williams BellaOnline's Japanese Culture Editor, about One of the holidays or celebrations in the month January.
The 2nd Monday in January is a national holiday in Japan not counting their New Year, called Coming of Age Day. All people who turn 20 that year are celebrated on this day, for that is the age that young people enter adulthood. Ceremonies are held in cities and towns nationwide, often with addresses made by prominent members of the community. Formal dress is often worn, and plenty of alcohol is served to those who are being celebrated.
AS FOR THE MOVIES
Have anyone heared of or at least seen Sin City starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Alexis Bledel, Jason Douglas?
Heres a trailer for it and BE WARNED: CHILDREN UNDER 13 SHOULD NOT SEE THIS.
NOW FOR REALITY NEWS ABOUT...ME
Bryan and I are feeling like we never see each other as to the new schedules we have for this semester in college. (of course his dad is loving it) So we both try to cheat out our time just to run passed each other with a hug or something, and we still call each other every night. Its not to bad I guess but people seem to change each day when you don't see them as much as you used to.
My new job with Steak-N-Shake is starting to bug me. The other employees are very uptight and yesterday was the first time working drive-thru by myself. (no it wasn't fun) I clearly wasn't ready but nobody cared. I messed up a lot of orders and left at 8pm with a headache. I don't understand when they told me that I have 30 days worth of training but they kick me out to work the drive-thru alone. It just makes me not like what I got myself into. So of course I will be wanting and looking for a new job away from food like I originally planned. I even have my advisor (I guess thats what she is) person helping me with that too. And them Bryan tonight has an interview with the Bank of America. So good luck to him right. (he is very nervious which isn't like him) :)
WEATHER WARNING
Over here in the St. Louis, Missouri region we have strong winds and a possible tornado warning till 7 tonight. (I highly doubt the tornado) And there are lots of tree branches falliing of into the roads so my Missourians watch out on the roads if you are going anywhere tonight.
As for me, I will be staying indoors while my brother and his friend are going to see Cloverfield at the Ronnies 20 theater.
I just now realized what everyone has been talking about...Version Vibrant.
I mean sure I'm behind on the news but at least I got it now. So our whole set-up is going to change. Thanks to CosmicSailor, I watched a video from youtube about it and wow. It looks like its an advertisment or something. Nothings going to be lost is it? I mean we are going to still have our stuff right?
Ok enough freaking out now. I'm fine I promise.
As for a none freaky related question for all...
How many of you like Alice in Wonderland?
If not well then this music video Bryan showed me from youtube might change your mind.
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers - Don't Come Around Here No More
As for entertianment that should do it.
Thanks for your time and well I actuall hope to be on here longer than what I have been, I feel like I'm never on here as much as I use to be.
Well today didnt start very good for me. what happened? Well I will tell you.
First off when I got in my car, I noticed that i needed gas but I dont have any money for it. Second after i picked up Bryan from home, I got into one of the parking lots at Jefferson College and a 'JeffCop' as i call them pulls me over and the encounter starts like this:
JeffCop walks up "did you know your suppose to stop when theres a pedestrean walking?"
Me giving a look "Im sorry.." for I remember not seeing anybody walking.
JeffCop "how long have you been a student here?" and "can I see your student ID?"
I give him my ID and he goes and sits in his little crapy car and eventually comes back and lets me off with a warning. On top of that I might not have enough gas in my car to make it to the gas station now.
Talk about annoying! I know he was just doing his job but he needs to do it when there is actually people walking around that I can run over.
ANYWAYS
I finally got the rest of my books and I even got $25 off one of the books because I bought it new but it didnt come in new it was used. So that was a plus for today.
Also at Steak-N-Shake well as LordSesshomaru said I know theres no real steaks there but its called that because of the meat, its a 'steakburger' not a hamburger. You know what I mean.
MENTIONING OTHERS
As I was checking up on our good 'ol Magnus Lensherr, she mentioned something called CrunchyRoll and I checked it out and it looks interesting. Go check it out too if you dont believe me.
THE END
I have to depart for now, I have to meet Bryan for lunch, hes almost out of class. I will come back on hopefully later so have a good day everyone.
Do you ever wake up and find yourself unable to move at all? Almost like that feeling of when your arm or leg falls asleep and it has that slight tingling. Well what would you say that is because I doubt that your whole body can share that 'falling asleep' feeling.
Now heres for your entertainment...
Wacky 911 Calls
A call came into 911 Emergency because two couples were going to share a hotel room and there weren't enough towels.
A man called 911 and said: "Please connect me to Switzerland."
A lady called 911 because of a fight going on in a parking lot. When asked to describe the combatants, she said: "I'll try. There's one man, and he's dressed like Elvis. He's kicking another man who's laying on the ground and screaming 'You ain't nothing but a hound dog.'"
Another person called to report he had the hiccups.
A thirteen-year-old boy called to report he had "stuff" coming from his navel. Paramedics examined the boy and all they found was belly-button lint.
A male complainant called and requested police call gas stations on all exits of I-95 to find out which ones were open.
A woman called emergency to report she had seen a wild mouse in her house.
Someone called 911 to report the parrot got out of his cage and is in a tree outside.
A man broke up with his girlfriend and wanted police to go by her house and report to him the owners of any cars, other than hers, in her driveway.
A man called to report he had a roach stuck in his ear.
A guy called to ask if they delivered dope. When the person answering told him it was the Sheriff's Department, he hung up.
Another winner called to ask when the Cinco de Mayo celebration was.(Cinco de Mayo means the 5th of May)
A female complainant called to request a police officer come to her residence to change the battery in her smoke detector. She couldn't
reach it.
A drunk called 911 to order a pizza.
A woman called to report that someone had trespassed on her property. When asked how she knew this, she reported that the person had trimmed her rose bushes, and she knew it was her next-door neighbor.
A person called to find out the number to the police station.
Now for my news...
Steak-N-Shake is annoying just because its a restaurant. I just want out of the food business, is that too much to ask. I mean the place is fine and all and it pays well but i just want something else.
College is ok for now, i still need 2 more books for class I'm still waiting on. And well I just dont care much for the professors (their old and weird) what a combination.
well I must go now so everyone have a good day.
