   of course...

Of course it would be a snow day on my days off... life's just like that I guess... Anyway, I've spent a good part of my day waiting for my mom to get off the computer, and when she finally did, she got all snarky at me... I don't have the attitude, she does!

Anyway, I watched Escaflowne last night, and tonight I'm thinking of watching ROD, so that should be fun! I spent about an hour cleaning up after the blizzard from last night, so I was shoveling snow drifts that came about to my waist. that was pretty rank... I guess I get paid for it though, so all is forgiven! XD

I've been working through my book, and am almost done, only 150 pages to go! XD I'm so excited, cuz I'm planning to read "the Children of Hurin" by JRR Tolkien, it looks really good!

Questions

1. What book are you reading currently?

2. What is the weather like where you are?

3. How many phones are there in the room you're in right now?

My Answers

1. "Assassin's Quest" by Robin Hobb

2. feels like -44C, but the sky is clear and blue

3. 1 cell phone and 1 land line.

   YAY FOR FRIENDS!!! XD

OK, I have a request for you all! Go and add my friend SkyDogsAnimations! She's a good friend, and we just got together lately, and had a good time, I'm sure you'll like her! XD Just telling you, cuz she only just made a site yesterday, and her art ROCKS!!! XD

OK, to take it onto another note... today is blizzarding! TT_TT It's so cold outside, and after church I shoveled my grandma and grandpa's walk in a skirt with bare legs so they wouldn't have to burrow through the drifts! I swear, my legs almost fell off, but I had to get it done before they got home, ahhh... but now I'm wearing long johns and a sweatshirt, and feeling MUCH warmer! XD

I'm collection pledges for the 30 hour famine, so that should be interesting, I only just started today, and I've already got $150! XD WOW! I totally did not expect that!

Anyway, have a nice day!

   Netral-happy mode...

OK, so here's today, I've finished my last exam, feeling that I didn't do good at all, but then, what do you expect with science? OK, after the exam, my mom took me to DQ for ice cream to celebrate! XD Even though it was about -20 degrees outside... after that, I got my hair cut cuz it was hanging in my eyes like a highland steer... At the barbershop, one old hag was talking about how she; "can't understand these kids these days, with their hair in their eyes"... referring to me I guess... I tell you, if she weren't so old, I woulda given her something to complain about... oh well.

After that, we went to Red Deer for my counseling, so I had some fun there, then went to my granny and poppa's for steak! I swear, my poppa makes the best steak EVER! XD I went to youth-group after that, and hung around with my friends, it was a lot of fun. I came home, and just finished watching "the Power of One" about the apartheid in South Africa... I swear, it just makes me wanna hurt some white people, if you know what I mean? Racism is such a sick thing, it makes me physically hurt.

Questions

1. What are your views on racism?

2. What do you like to do while celebrating the end of exams?

3. What is your most redeeming feature?

My Answers

1. It's sick, and no one should ever think of another human being like that, EVER!!! this is all a gross understatement, my hate for racism runs deep!

2. SLEEP!

3. To me... that would probably be... ummm... I dunno really, maybe my love of art and reading... if that counts, I'm not sure of physical features, since that's not something I'm that good at judging...

One down, one to go! XD

ALRIIIIIIIIIGHT!!! XD My Social Studies exam is now a thing of the past! XD the exam started at 1:15, so I got to sleep in really late. I was up late cramming last night, and cramming for the rest of the morning through lunch. When I got to school to actually take the exam, it took place in the gym, so they had a bunch of desks all over the gym. Embarrassingly though, there were no more desks in my class's row, so I was wandering around for about 5 minutes trying to find a desk with my exam on it... TT_TT Anyway, the exam itself was OK, but if I hadn't studied, I would seriously be SCREWED! ... so it's a good thing I studied! XD

Anyway, after the exam, I went to the art room to finish my clay project. The actual project is a box shaped like a suitcase with clothes and books pushing out of it. I was trying to glue hinges on it so I could open and close it better, but the glue I used got stuck in the hinges themselves, so I had to break them off today to clear up the works, and ended up just using a glue time, since it was easier then the other glue I was using... so, now it's marked and put up for display in the hall, so that is also a thing of the past! XD

Questions

1. Do you have an art class?

2. What is your favorite medium to use while doing art? (clay, pencil, inks, etc.)

3. Do your parents put time restrictions on your time spent on the internet?

My Answers

1. Not anymore, I'm done with last semester, so no more art next semester... TT_TT

2. Probably pen and ink, or just pencils...

3. you bet they do... TT_TT it totally sucks!

The semester is finally OVER!!! XD

YAY!!! XD The semester is FINALLY OVER!!! XD Anyway, to answer everyone's questions on my post, The Rabbit Proof Fence is a movie about residential schools in Australia, where they took native and half blood children and sent them to these HORRIBLE schools. These events actually happened, and the movie is based on a true story of a girl who ran away from the school and walked along the rabbit proof fence in Australia (the longest fence in the world, used to keep the rabbits in Australia on one side, and the farmland on the other) It's really a very amazing story, and I love the movie! XD

Anyway, today ended a horribly long semester, exams start tomorrow, but I still get to sleep in! *victory sign* XD That really makes my day!

In Social Studies, we had to write a position paper, so I wrote mine about globalization's affects on identity. I think it actually turned out pretty good too! XD In Art I finally finished my clay project (a box shaped like a suitcase) I was gluing the hinges on, but the glue got into the actually bending part, so I'm gonna have to figure out how to open it... I hope I can... TT_TT

As it is, I'm still stressing for those exams, so I hope things turn out OK...

Questions

1. What usually stresses you out the most?

2. What do you have on your fridge?

3. Do you wear glasses, contacts, or none?

My Answers

1. Don't get me started, pretty much anything can get me stressed... TT_TT

2. a towel, school schedule, grocery list, and several other sticky notes, as well as a list of numbers; really boring actually...

3. none

   Exams...

OK, so here's today... (sorry, this will be a rushed post since I got home late and have to study... TT.TT)

Exams are coming up! Tomorrow is the last class day at school, then it's exams and finally a new semester... and I have NO interesting classes AT ALL!!! TT_TT It's so NOT FAIR!!! TT_TT

Anyway, I got to cook my own recipe in foods class today, so I made Chicken Jeera and Pilau. However, it was so hot for my classmates, they all had tears running down their cheeks, accompanied my cherry red faces... I was able to eat it without that expression, and all I can say is that it's lucky for them that it was Medium heat, instead of hot... ^-^ *nods* They still liked it though! XD

Anyway, today was my Granny's birthday, so right after school we went to her house, my mom made vegetarian lasagna with hamburger in it... (don't think to hard... ^^) and we watched the movie; "The Rabbit Proof Fence". It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad I went, unfortunately, I have to study late now... TT_TT It's still not fair!

Questions

1. Have you ever seen "The Rabbit Proof Fence"?

2. What is your dream birthday party?

3. Have you taken exams recently?

My Answers

1. Yes

2. I don't really know, since my last was when I was 11, I've never really had a real party after that... I don't even really know what people do at birthday parties while in high school... besides getting drunk, stoned, and layed... something I'm not planning to do...

3. no, they happen the day after tomorrow... TT_TT

   So close... *pants*

School is so close to being done! I'm going crazy here! TT_TT Today in Social Studies we had a test! I had no idea it was today either, so I failed it miserably! TT_TT Anyway, we also had a quiz in art that I studied for, but I'm pretty sure I aced it, art is so easy! ^^ Anyway, in art class, one of the guys drew all over another girl's binder with these really expensive oil bars (sorta like pastels, but with an oil base) Our teacher got so mad at him, and the girl was mad too, cuz he wrote some really insulting stuff, and it'll never come off.

Anyway, that's the most interesting thing that happened today, so... now for some questions

Yay! I get to show my art at our youth group's coffee house tonight! I'm so excited! XD I got to bring my painting home from the art room, it's probably about half as tall as me, just huge! It's a painting of the crucifixion, but it's done over a bunch of photographs in the background of Christians who did horrible things (the crusades, Spanish Inquisition, etc.) When I showed it to my grandpa, I sure got some appreciative results! XD It's a really bloody painting though!

OK, I'm almost done my manga that I'm doing for social studies, and I have to study for exams... XP *gags*

   SNOW!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! It snowed like a savage today! My mom and I were walking to school and it started out quite nice, then it started to sleet, then hail! It hurt too! Then it turned into snow and snowed all day! There was probably about a foot of snow on the ground!

A sad thing happened in art today... TT.TT... as my clay project was drying, it cracked in 2 place! Then a piece chipped off, so I'm gonna fire them together then glue it... I hope it works... TT.TT

My mom and me got home, then watched "the Cave of the Yellow Dog" It was this really cool Tibetan movie that follows this nomadic family... it was really slow, and if you like a direct story line then you'd hate it, but I was in the mood. If anything, it was like being a fly on the wall in someone's house, it was very realistic! XD

Questions

1. Do you like foreign movies?

2. What is your descent? (what countries does your family originate from?

3. What book are you reading right now?

Questions

1. You bet! So far my favorites are "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Run Lola Run" (Spanish and German)

2. Sweden, Scotland, England, etc... I'm not even all that sure, though I know those are my strongest bloodlines.

3. "Assassin's Quest" by Robin Hobb, then I'm gonna read "The Children of Hurin" by JRR Tolkien! XD I'm so EXCITED!!! XD
