I'm so BORED!

Man, isn't this ironic? My last few posts have showed me being so excited about vac, and being able to go back to Mombasa, but with this conference thing going on, I haven't even been able to spend that much time with my parents.

The term slowly died, and it seemed that everyone who left early were just forgotten. It's vac, but there's nothing to really do except watch TV, eat, sleep, play pool, and read. (I'm sorry I sound so depressing, but I just finished watching Les Misarables, which is enough to make anyone depressed.)

Last day of term!!!

YEEEHAAA!!!
It's finally the last day of the term!!! And all we have to do is 5th, 6th, and 7th periods.

After 7th period, there's chai time, then we get to go back to the dorm for dorm clean-up. I signed up for the kitchen (big mistake), so I have to clean all of the dishes in the cupboard, scrub out the fridge, the walls and the stove, the door, and clean the windows.

This vac, I borrowed the movie Porco Rosso from my anime loving teacjer, so I'm going to introduce it to my parents, who I actually think will like it.

Of course, before I can go home to Mombasa, I have to stay at RVA for this mission conference. Of course, the only thing that I'm looking forward to is the fact that we get to go to Village Market, that's like this really nice mall in Nairobi, I've even heard that they sell anime books there, so I need to go check it out, as well as go Christmas shopping for my family. Well, gotta go pay attention to class, hope our teacher doesn't ask me any questions, cuz I think I'll fail them.

2nd day of exams

well, exams for Friday are done, but it's monday again, so I have a bible exam at 2:30 til 4:00. Normally, exams today are for 3rd and 4th periods, but my 3rd period is study hall, so all I have to do is 1 exam.

Today is also dorm sike, so we're all wearing these cute gloves that our dorm-mom gave us, though it's really hard to type with them on.

Well, since everyone over here in Kenya are all siked for Christmas (even though it's not till next month) I might as well contribute to the sike.

I am so DEAD!!!
OH NO!!! The exams start in 15 minutes, and I'm still trying to study, even as I write this!!! I just know I'm gonna fail!!! I don't even know the basic themes for Greek Mythology, and I know that I'm gonna fail Swahili, just because I hardly studied. Most of study hall last night was spent giving a session to the girls in the dorm who didn't get the Odyssey, and now I'm in the dumpster, cuz I didn't have time to study for my other subjects.

I don't know what to think of today.
what to say about today? Well, it's better than yesterday! I woke up, slammed my alarm clock, and went back to bed. Then I had to clean the tub for dorm-kob, when I finally got up, and got a note for not rinsing it properly. Of course, it didn't help that I found about 6 or 7 Nairobi Eye in the bathroom, and 3 or 4 in our room. Nairobi eye are these little red and black bugs, that, if you squash them, this acid in them gets on you, and really burns you up, and if you touch your eyes with the acid, your eyes get infected. That's why it's called Nairobi eye, (go figure). I'm only into my 3rd period, but it's a free period, so I can actually do this, the bell's gonna ring soon, so I gotta go.

Bad Day
It's a bad day today, Monday is always bad. Last night was almost worst, when I threw my Algebra textbook against the wall, I accidentally got it stuch behind the bed, so I had to move the bed to get the book out. School is as hard as ever, and to be honest, no matter how hard I study, I always manage to get an F in Swahili class. Why can't I do better? Also, some problems have been cropping up in the dorms, so it's probably better for me to avoid certain rooms.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!
It's finally Friday, and that means that I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. I hate having to get up at 6 every morning.I also hate water shortages, it's so annoying having to take a shower standing in a bucket, but if we didn't reserve the water, we would be using the long-drop outside of the dorm. Vacation is coming, so that much is good, but exams are too, and they're gonna be really hard this year. I also hate the fact that I only get to see my parents three months of the year, it's awful, I guess you don't realize what you have until it's gone.

Today I woke up OK, but today has a wierd schedule, so lunch comes later than usual, and I'm so hungry.
I scanned more of my pictures to the computer last night to work on them on Photoshop, so when I get some free time, I'll work on them.

well, today was a normal day, got up, did dorm job, ate breakfast and went to school. The teachers were nice to us today, so I don't have too much homework, but I'm really starting to hate this routine, it can get so annoying!!!
