   Pretty good day today...

Sooo... yesterday our friend's freezer broke down, so we got a whole stack of steaks, so it's steak last night, and steak again tonight! XD (I can DEFINATELY deal with that! ^^) Ummm... I went to bed at exactly 3:30 this morning, (watched "Frenzy" last night) and slept till noon, then I got up and walked around town till I had to go to the gym at 4. Then I marinated the steak, and man it's gonna taste good! XD

Ummm... nothing much else... reading "Cannery Row" by Steinbeck, and I've been playing Mafia wars on facebook like nothing else! Better get in all the internet time I can today for tomorrow (I guess there's gonna be a huge virus going around tomorrow... happy April 1st eh? o.O)

   Spring break is good!

So yah, I haven't updated in forever, and there's been so much that has happened since then. Does anyone remember my little brother that we were adopting? Well... the adoptiong fell through, and only a couple weeks after we found a children's home that would take him. My parents came home to Canada, and we started to try to figure out another way to get him. A couple weeks later, I woke up at about midnight to my parents' wails. Marcus had died of Menunjitus (spelling?) the day before. Since that, I think I've been in shock since, then, which is kinda why I haven't been on in a while. I still can't quite fathom it, and it hurts so much. I want to kill that bitch judge that ruined our lives.

Anyway, to improve the mood, spring break is here, and I'm feeling fairly exhausted, there's so much to do, and my friends and me just went last night to watch "Monsters vs. Aliens"... not their best movie, but cute... ^^

   Good day today...

Allriiight! XD Today was actually pretty good! ^^ This was my 3rd day of school, and my Dad's 2nd day of his new job! ^^ He's doing carpentry work and building stuff, and we just figured out yesterday that he's actually building my Art teacher's studio! XD I find that to be so amusing! ^^

I am again in the library, so this will be fast, and just wanted to update, and hopefully visit today! Last post was a fluke, cuz I ran out of time just when I finished writing my post... sorry! TT_TT

   First day of school...

Hey there everyone! Sorry for not being on for a while, but we don't have a computer here in Canada, and the only way I can connect is at the library, so bear with me! From now on, I think my posts will be pretty short, but I'll do my best to visit everyone!

Today was the first day of school, which I spent hanging out with friends and dozing off in class! XD The people in the office managed to mess up my schedule again, so I plan to get a meeting with them so I can change from a course called "Special Projects" (which in reality isn't anything... so I get a free period!) back to Mechanics20 where it's supposed to be.

   Oh yeahhhhh... XD

Hey there everyone! Sorry for not being online for so long, but I just spent one of my best weeks ever on the coast! Sadly, we didn't bring the computer, and there was no internet connection anyway, so i couldn't go online. A lot has happened this week, so I'm gonna try to remember it all...

My brother proposed to his girlfriend on the beach... that romantic devil! XD The house we were staying at was one that I had lived in for a while before, but now belongs to someone else, so the new owner fixed it up, and now it looks FANTASTIC!!! XD We were able to be there during the full moon, so the tide was at it's highest, and we had a great time in the waves! We also met these really cool guys who are runners from Northern Kenya on their vacation to the coast! ^^ They didn't know how to swim, so my brother was trying to teach them, but the water was really hard to swim in... I mean, you could be walking on the beach, and a wave twice as tall as you would come and knock you over... o.O It was pretty savage, but lots of fun! XD

I found a lot of beautiful shells, and we spent our last day in Mombasa in Old Town! I bought a whole bunch of key chains for my friends in Canada, and a new bag for school. We had a great time, and ate lunch at a restaurant called "Island Dishes", so I had a big plate of Chicken Biriani (a sort of chicken curry on spiced rice) It was REALLY good! ^^

We took the train to the coast and back, and the funny thing was that we managed to be on the same train there and back again with this German family we met. That was sure a coincidence! XD The train trip back was more strenuous though, and Marcus was kicking up a fuss a good part of the time.

Well, there's a lot more to tell, but that's basically all I can remember... ^^' Sorry it's so scattered and out of order, but I should have a kept a journal last week... there was so much to remember!

Sadly, I cannot write a long post today, because there's other stuff to do, and I won't be on for a while, since I'll be gone a week to the coast... sorry, no visits today either.... TT_TT...

   2 more days!

Yesterday we had a couple who are also adopting in Kenya come and visit us. They have also been having a hard time adopting here in Kenya, and this one judge actually took their baby away on false charges! The children's officers were supposed to write a report for them, but the report the judge received was a fake, discrediting them with malicious lies!!! And now that it's on the record, it's a fact to the law, even though it's all a lie! There's also this baggish lady working behind the scenes, and because of her status and connections, she basically has the courts under her thumb! She is intensely anti-Christian, and is also supposedly working behind the scenes of our adoption and trying to ruin it for us! We have also seen that many other couples from the States and Canada, when they come to Kenya to adopt, they leave with no problems, but the Christian families that try to adopt meet all kinds of people trying to stop them! This is so not fair! These people are ruining my life, and all because they don't like the fact that Christians are adopting babies in Kenya! If we don't adopt this little boy, no orphanages will take him because of his handicaps, and if we hadn't taken him in, he would have died, no question! And still, these idiots dare to try to stop us from getting a court date, and drag their feet through EVERY piece of paper we get!

I'm sorry if you don't really care or understand, but this has been on my mind lately, and I've been feeling really PISSED all day! XP

   3 MORE DAYS!!! XD

OK, so it's finally a sunny day here in Kenya! XD Me and my family had lunch outside, then my dad and me ran down the slope behind our house to check on our loquat trees! (I say run, because the slope is so steep that you have to move your legs as fast as you can to keep up with your body... o.O) I made it to the bottom unscathed, but my dad wasn't so lucky... he fell down and hurt his knee pretty bad, and ripped his jeans, so mom has him on the couch with a pack of ice... I hope his knee gets better soon... o.O
