Saving lives in the wee hours of the morning.
Hello kiddies! it's been awhile again hasn't it? haha it always is. Anyways, i have some fun and exciting news this week! It's finally official. Today I got the call about the job offer, so now I have a full time job! I'll be working 3rd shift, which suits me fine because i really am a night person. For those of you who are curious 3rd shift is from 11pm-7:30am. But the even better news is that I get lots of money! haha. A lot of my hours are on the weekend, but that means I'll be making lots of money! I think I calculated up to 35% differential on the weekends....which comes up to like...$25 an hour....yeah i think that's right. So yay!!!

In other news, I've been sewing my halloween costume! it's coming out really well! I'm almost done with the top, i just have to finish the collar and the interfacing stuff, and then heming it. after that i need to finish Tom's costume, which is just heming that up too.

My game of choice this month is Growlanser: Hertiage of War. Haha I LOVE THIS GAME!!! hehe it's really like one of those choose your own adventure games cuz you can make your character do whatever you want, and you have this fairy you enter into contests!! haha, oh it's too much fun.

I hope everyone has a great ending to their week!! Take care!!!

Well, as you can clearly tell, I have changed my theme. This month's theme is "Fly me to the moon". I think this theme fits me well right.

We are all trying to achieve our goals. For me, right now, its trying to find a full-time job, one that I will like and will be in a nice city to leave. I have found some interesting ones in a couple of cities, and I am hoping for a call back soon. I really hope that I get a call. I really want a full time job, not just for the money, not just for the benefits, it's because I want to help people. That's why i chose this profession in the first place. I have a strong desire to help people, as I'm sure many of you know. When I think about what I could be doing with my time, that's what comes up in my head.

So in my quest to help people, I'm working the library today hehe. Our parish has a library and so I sit in there, and and help people, mostly children check out books and movies. It really isn't too bad. I kind of like it actually.

Friday at work there was a huge cake left for us 2nd shifters....I don't know what it was for....apparently it said "Thanks for your hard work"....Why thank you for the gift myserious cake person, I don't know what exactly I did to deserve this, but I always work hard. Why? Because I want to help people.

Now that I'm registered, I get to have a student! Yay!! I love teaching people! It's so fun to watch the students too. It makes you think about how you felt at that time. I like to let them do what they want and then correct them if it needs correcting. The only way you learn is by actually doing it yourself. That's how I learned.

Umm...nothing much going on this week. I'm onto the Magic Knight Rayearth 2. haha what a messed up ending the first season had. Haha, laugh if you must, I know it's kind of a little girl's show, but I like it. It makes me laugh. I've also been playing FF12 again. I'm trying to play it before my new game comes out on Tuesday! Yay for limited editions!!!

Well, thanks for listening to my ramble, and I hope you like the new theme! It's not quite as good as the past one, but i like how it came out. Enjoy and have a great week ahead! *hugs everyone*

My incoherent ramblings...
What ever happened to THAT? does THAT still exist? It makes me wonder.....I think we carry around THAT in our hearts, and when we get together we remember the good ol' times....but....i guess what I mean is....we should have THAT party. Yeah....

Well, I passed my registry and am now officially licensed by the state. Go me! So i have a title, aren't I cool. Just call me Nami-chan, L.R.T (R). haha.

So yeah....nothing really exciting going on in my life. How's everyone else?

In otherwords....I think i need a boyfriend....

I have come, and you have seen, what do I see.....the light.
Why hello everyone. Wow...haha I did it again. It's time for my tri-monthy post. lol. why is it that i seem to post every three months or something. Well, there is hope on the horizon! What's that exactly? I am finally going to graduate in 2 weeks. Yes that's right, I have two weeks left in my college education. What does that amount to? 5 more clinical days, one timed clinical final of 5 best demonstrates in 20 mins, and 2 200 question tests. Yes, 200 questions. I really don't think it'll be too bad....I have to get at least a 75 to pass....I CAN DO IT!

Well, what have I been up to besides school? haha that's a tough question, I don't really remember....working a lot. I think i spend about 50 hours at the hospital some weeks. Also we've somehow gotten into the habit of going to see a movie every friday. hehe it's fun. So for once i've actually seen a lot of the mainstream movies. Also, i got a new phone, which means I got a new number, but now i have text messaging! Yay!!! hehe who wants to text me? lol.

I'm going on a trip as soon as a graduate...nothing fancy....just down to texas... Yes, this is a very sad sad fact, but i have never seen the ocean. I live in the middle of the country, the closes body of water is....ummm...haha i have no idea...I mean, our city is surrounded by a river so i know what that's like....the largest body of water i've seen is lake michigan when i went to chicago. But yes, this should be an experience. ^__^.

I have to work 3rd shift tonight so i have to go in a 11pm and then get off at 7:30am. hehe. I think i'm going to nap before i have to get going.

How is everyone doing? It's been so long! I hope you all have a great end of the weekend! Miss ya guys!!!

Let the sun shine. Let the sun shine in.
Why hello again my wonderful friends! Tis been a very adventurous week and a half or so. I have been in such a good mood lately it's not even funny. Let's see...where shall we start off? I guess we can start with how i've been expanding my horizons lately.

My friend is a composition major. What does that mean, it means she writes music. She's also an organ major so most of the music she writes is for the organ. Anyways, she wrote a series of songs in lament for her grandmother's funeral, and I had the pleasure of going to see it performed. I've had the chance to hear bits and parts of it, but all together it sounded simply amazing. I really enjoyed it, and I also got to hear some other amazing stuff from other majors during the concert. Afterwords, my other friend was having her dance final, so I went and watched her dance recitial. Her dance was a hip hop/pop routine, but there was tap and ballette and modern stuff as well. So yeah, really expanding my horizons in the fine arts field.

The other day I got to have lunch with none other then MOLLY!!! We went to eat at a resturant and then went to the library and to the art museum. Haha once again, expanding my horizons in the fine arts area. There was some really gorgous works of glass blown art on disply. Just thinking about how they make them just boggles my mind. They were all soo pretty! We also did this scavenger hunt thing. I hope one of us wins the $1000. hehe I always have lots of fun with Molly. You should all be jealous. lol.

Well my graduation went off without a hitch. It was pretty interesting. It was really hot because the air conditioner in the building was broken so we where really sweating but luckily it didn't last too long. I am soo full of cake and sweets and sandwhiches. I don't want to eat anotheer sandwhich for like another week or so. Mind you they were good sandwhiches, but still. Enough is enough. I have just tomarrow left for my clinical and then i get a two week break! yay! I'm really excited, I almost have all of my compentencies done. Just 5 more! Yay! Then I'll be able to go to Heart cath and MRI.

Anyways, now I think it's time for "Nami-chan Recomends" where i recomend a new anime series for you all to watch. First off, let's start with a series that gets you excited about classical music, Nodame Cantabile. This show is about a musical college and the students who go there. It mostly centers around Shinichi Chiaki who dreams of being a world-famous conductor. Only one problem...he's afraid of flying so he's stuck in Japan. He then meets Noda Megumi (Nodame for short) who then instigates a wierd series of events that help him on the path to his dream. The soundtrack to this show is absolutely gorgous. Since this is a music based show, there's a lot of classical music. I like how when they perform a song, it pops up a little thing saying the title and the composer. A little added feature I just adore. This series is currently available in manga form here in the U.S. and currently has up to 9 vols released. Nami-chan Recomends it!!!

haha on a side note, in abscenes of there being a Gundam SEED box set...I have found my new Gundam in the form of a show called Heroic Age. I've only seen about 3 episodes but I just love it already. I just know this show is going to get me through my Gundam deprevities. and get me through this summer semester. haha.

Anyways, I think i've written enough. I hope everyone has a wonderfull weekend!!! take care!!!

My dreams will come to pass...zutto....zutto...
Why hello everyone! Long time no see eh? Once again It has been a month since I've updated. What can I say, the end of the semester is always a busy time, esp. for one who is about to graduate! Yes that's right, I'm about to graduate, and let me tell you, I am SOO ready for it! Though I think I need to explain something. For some reason, we have our graduation ceremony before we actually graduate. So, even though I walk on May 12, I don't get my diploma until August 22, because I have to take summer school to complete my degree. Now, this is just how the program works. Believe me I would not want to be in school during summer if I didn't have to be. But I don't think it'll be too bad. I only go three days a week to clinical, and then one 2 hour class that's just a review for the registry. So I don't think it should be too bad.

Let's see...in other news....my cousin had her baby, so i have yet another baby cousin. She's soo adorable though. Let's see what else...oh, my friend/classmate is getting married so I went to her wedding shower and bachorette party...let me tell you.....that was a....ummm....educational experience....I think we'll leave it at that....

Molly's letting me borrow her Basilisk DVDs......this series is sooo good! I would definately recommend it to those of the older age range. Definately not for kids or I'd say those under 16.... Also in Molly-news...We get to see the PENGUINS!!!! at the zoo next Tuesday. I still can't believe our zoo is getting penguins. It's going to be so awesome! I can't wait!

Oh yeah, speaking of school-related stuff from earlier, I got a 97 on my final today! I was super excited. I really didn't think it was that bad...I guess that means I know what I'm doing right? ^_^. So be sure to come see me if you need an x-ray! lol

I got to spend the last two weeks in CT, and I got to do a lot of the procedures. I think I still have one more rotation over there, so I'm hoping to learn more. That way I could say I'm sort of cross-trained in another modality, and I can make more money that way. lol.

Well, I think that's what's been going on with me. Thanks for visiting! And I'm sorry i never get a chance to get to your sites. How have you been? I hope everyone has a great week ahead!!!

What would you do if you were sent to another world where no one understood your language and even your face changed features? BURN IT ALL TO HELL!!!!
Why hello my adorable children! Nami-sempai is back for another round of ruefull misgivings about the mavolous revalations of life and in a contextual manner exploit all that she can out of the past few weeks of her life. Now, I'm sure some of you have no idea what I just said and frankly I myself don't either. APRIL FOOL'S! haha. No really, I have come to the conclusion that I will lead no real life until I graduate, which, for all timekeeper's sake, is in approx. 3 months, technically speaking that is. In all truth of the matter, my graduation is May 12. But yes, I spend way to much time at the hospital.

I've had a really interesting couple of weeks at the hospital though. For my school/clinical part I am down in surgery, so I got to see some very interesting stuff. Some things I saw where: what your lung looks like, the heart of a very large/ fat person/ a uterus and even an overy, as well as some lymph nodes, and the stuff that's inbetween your spine bones (intervertebral disk). So yeah, it's been pretty interesting, and I've gotten to do most of the cases. I even did an arteriogram today (where they inject the dye into an artery, and then we follow it with the x-rays). I like being down in surgery, but this is my last week down there, next week I'm back upstairs taking regular x-rays. Also, this week i figured out I'll be at the hospital for over 62 hours, including work and school. I think i can make it somehow.

Ummm...let's see what else has been going on...not much really. My baby cousin got baptised last weekend. The kid is growing so fast! And this weekend is Easter so i'll get to see all my little cousins again, AND it also means I can eat fast food again! yay!!! I am Arby's deprived lol.

Well, I think i better be a good student, and stop having my senioritis and actually study. My test this week is over all the arteries and veins in the body.....i really have to study for this one. Wish me luck! haha.

I hope that you all had a good weekend, and have a great Easter!!! Love ya!!!

Hello! It's nice to know you! Please sit down and have a talk.
Hello. My name is duorocks17 though most of you know me as Nami-chan. I know all of you are probably looking for an explanation about my absence over the course of the last....6 months? Has it really been that long....yes yes I think it has. Anyways, I stray from the point of this conversation. The point is I don't really have an explanation except for one word....I word that is used by many a youth of this day and age.....school. Now I think some of you probably thought that word was hospital, but maybe I should explain something.

I am going to school to be a Radiology Technologist. Now what is that? Basically, it's the person who takes your x-rays. So, as a part of school we have classes called clinicals where we pretty much work at the hospital. We're there for 8 hours, and do our job. Now, I also have a job at the hospital as a technologist where i actually get paid. So from now on when i'm talking about not getting paid, I will refer to the word clinical, and when I am actually getting paid I will use the word hosptial. All clear? hehe.

So yes, school/clinical has been taking up a lot of my time. As well as being in clinical 4 days a week, I also have class on wends from about 9-4. So what little free time i have i spend studying, or trying to have a life, i.e. going out with my friends and having a drink.

So yes, that is pretty much where i've been. I am currently on Spring Break which is why i have the time to write this little excerpt about my life. I am currently at my brother's house, which is about 2 and a half hours from where I live. I'll be sure to post later about all the fun stuff we're doing. All I can say right now is that my legs and arms are killing me! lol.

Well, I think that's going to be it for today. I miss you guys! I hope you haven't forgotten about me lol. *HUGGLES* Have a great week!!!
