Fake Wings, Finale!!!
Well, here's the Final Chapter of Fake Wings. This will be replaced by the Naruto Fan Fiction, Bizarre Love Triangle, next week. Thanks for reading!!

Chapter 19

When Izayoi and Krad arrived in the dome, Tenji was standing over the unconscious bodies of Minoru and Ian. Seeing Izayoi brought something strange to the Shinigami; a memory from her past self. Shaking her head, the images went away, and she got ready to attack. Her parasol, which also concealed a katana, was held in both hands; one on the parasol’s handle and one on the katana’s hilt. Then, she charged at Izayoi, who was ready for the attack.

“Tenji, snap out of it!” Izayoi said, her voice in a pleading tone as she blocked the strike, “I don’t want to kill you.” The Shinigami laughed and pulled out the katana, making a small cut on Izayoi’s stomach. Wincing, she hobbled backward, while the Shinigami flew away for a moment. The hunter had cut her arm, and she was bleeding. This was an odd sight for her; her last incarnation had no blood. ‘I’m still mortal, then…’ Tenji thought, her brow furrowing as she retreated.

“I think you’re flattering yourself, human.” Tenji said, running her hand over the wound and sealing it, “you can’t kill me.” She smiled wickedly, and landed on the ground, raising the sword and the parasol. Izayoi smiled and nodded. This was going to be a fair fight, it seemed. Bowing slightly, the two girls ran toward one another, metal crashing against metal as they exchanged blows. Sparks showered upon the floor; it would have caught fire had it been made of wood.

The two stepped apart, panting and covered in blood. The Shinigami had forgotten to heal herself, but wasn’t planning on it. Izayoi… for some reason, she respected her. Then, they rushed back together in another exchange, ending in a similar look. Krad, who had been tending to Minoru and Ian, looked up in time to see them collide again. The clanging sounds made him shiver slightly, glad that he wasn’t fighting. Ian coughed slightly, a bit of blood rolling from his mouth and down his chin.

“Wha-what’s going on?” Ian asked, healing Minoru as Krad told him what had happened. The Shinigami’s aura… it had lightened since they’d been unconscious. Something had caused it to lighten. According to Krad, when the Shinigami’s aura turned black, this world would end, and everything would be swept over by a killing cloud. Ian shivered inwardly, relieved only when his friend Minoru awoke.

Izayoi was getting tired, and she could see the fatigue in her former friend. With a small grin, she made on last charge at the Death God. Ian hugged Minoru, not noticing the blush on his friend’s face, or noticing he’d hugged him at all. Krad looked away, not wanting to see what would happen. A loud slashing noise reverberated off the walls, and the sound of splattering blood reached their ears.

The two figures stood stock still for a few moments, standing facing away from one another. Then, Izayoi coughed loudly, and fell to her knees, spitting out blood. Shinigami grinned, and walked over to Izayoi, squatting and looking into Izayoi’s eyes. She’d re-sheathed the parasol sword, and strapped it along her back. It looked like the fight was over.

“Any last requests, Aruka Izayoi?” Tenji asked, feeling Izayoi’s death approaching. The girl nodded and mouthed the words. Shinigami asked her to repeat them aloud, or she’d kill her without finding out her dying wish. Swallowing hard, Izayoi looked into the Death God’s eyes. There were still traces of her best friend there. Smiling, she said it aloud.

“I want to give my friend Tenji a hug goodbye,” Izayoi said, looking at the Shinigami, “not you, though. My actual friend.” The Death God rolled her eyes, and loosened her grip on the body, allowing Tenji back through. Her eyes returned to normal, and she hugged Izayoi tight. Smiling, she hugged her back, and it looked as if New Earth would be dead soon. Then, there was a stabbing noise, and Tenji looked rather surprised. The sword that was in her parasol was now sticking through her back, through her, and right into Izayoi.

“But… why?” Tenji gasped, blood rolling down her mouth as she spoke. Izayoi grinned, and held the sword in place. She coughed loudly, blood spattering on Tenji slightly. The men who were watching were startled; they hadn’t been expecting anything like this to happen. Once Izayoi regained her composure, she looked into Tenji’s eyes, a few warm tears falling out.

“I didn’t want you… to go down my road…” Izayoi smiled, “you’d be killing the entire human race… and besides, we can meet again… in the next life if the world is still… here…” Her smile seemed genuine for the first time in a while, and Tenji smiled again. Then, Izayoi’s eyes drooped shut, and she fell on Tenji, who could barely support her. Bitter tears fell down her face, but she smiled through them, her hands straying to the hilt of the katana in her back.

“In the next life.” Tenji said simply, pulling out the sword. Once it left her body, so did her spirit, and she flopped to the ground, landing next to Izayoi. Krad looked on sadly, wishing he could’ve prevented it. Ian and Minoru were crying quietly, but Ian wiped off his tears. Then, the three of them stood up, looking around the room.

“If New Earth is saved… why does this feel so… crummy?” Ian asked, looking at Minoru as he hugged him. The two older men thought for a moment, before Minoru smiled and kissed Ian’s forehead.

“They died to save New Earth…” Minoru said, gesturing to Izayoi and Tenji’s corpses, “I think they deserve a proper burial, don’t you?” Ian blushed slightly from the kiss, but nodded and ran over to the bodies. Soon, they carried them outside, and buried their fallen comrades in the desert sands.

***

Minoru, Ian and Krad returned to the capital, where they were greeted by the survivors. Everyone had seen the dark cloud that was forming above the Hunter’s lair, and were glad to see it lift. Terra hugged her brother, glad to see him back home. Ian and Krad didn’t have family, so they just made due with Terra and Minoru, glad to be alive. They regarded that day as “Savior’s Day”, regarding the people who’d lost their lives saving the world.

And, I, personally, think that it was a good name for the holiday.

The End

Well, I hope you liked the end. I'd have put more, but I didn't know what else to put! Also going to correct the "frying" error in the last chapter. So HA!

AEGFF, Chapter 18!!!!!
Sorry these are so late, but I was skiing and gone al day! ENJOY!!

Chapter 18

Tera, Max, Bobby, Julia and Frankie were standing at the top of the Rocky Mountains, or at least one of the peaks. Tera’s friends had decided they wanted to get in a little fun skiing and snowboarding before they got into the competition. Bobby was in it for the ski bunnies, and Julia and Frankie wanted to see how many times Tera would wipe out. No matter what she did- snowboard or skis- she always managed to face-plant. Tera scoffed indignantly, but enjoyed the rush of going fast, so she tagged along. On the way up, Tera had accidentally clung to Max. She said she was afraid because they were very high up, and the gondola kept shaking.

“Well… I guess we’re going down a blue hill?” Tera asked, but the others insisted on a warm-up down a green hill. Tera agreed, and went down with her friends, zooming past them and running into a tree. Max stifled a laugh, but the other three were having a fit in the snow. Julia and Frankie had almost forgotten what Tera looked like when she wiped out. After a contemptuous glare and wiping of blood from her nose, Tera headed off again.

“Hey Tera!” Max shouted, noticing where she was heading, “you’re heading for a double diamond! Extreme path!” Unfortunately, his words were lost, and Tera went off without a thought. Julia said that Tera would be fine, so she headed off down the green path, followed shortly by Bobby and Frankie. Max was about to go after Tera, but he figured that the girls knew her better, and he followed them.

The girls were wrong.

Tera ran into trouble as soon as she got to the hill. It sloped so sharply that she managed to get air and face-plant again. When she stood up, she noticed a fog rolling in. Sighing, she continued her path down the mountain, hoping the guys were behind her. Soon, however, she realized she’d taken an extreme path. She saw it on the sign.

“Oh shit…” Tera groaned, realizing her friends weren’t coming, “this is great. I’m a terrible skier… and they just left me! Oh, when I get down there…” She would be down sooner than she thought. Her skis had been facing downhill, and she was starting to coast. She didn’t notice until she realized she couldn’t read the sign anymore. With a cry of surprise, she began to ski down the mountain, faster than she’d ever done of her own free will.

Soon, she had the biggest wipeout of her life. She caught air again, and landed on her back, rolling and flopping down the hill. When she finally skidded to a halt, she knew she’d been hurt. Straining herself, she tried to stand. However, she felt a sharp pain in her right leg and in her back, and collapsed on the ground again. Warm tears of pain rolled down her face, and she waited for someone to find her.

***

“I’m worried about Tera, you guys.” Max said, sipping his hot chocolate, “she’s been up there for an hour.” Frankie nodded in agreement; she was the more caring one of her two friends. With a smile, she handed her cell phone to Max, who stared at her quizzically. She grinned and tapped him on the forehead, telling him he could call the ski lodge if she was hurt. Max thanked her and ran off, picking up his snowboard and heading for the gondola.

***

Soon, after going down the double diamond hill, he found Tera. She was laying out, acting as if she was fine. When she saw Max, she cried out with joy, and tried to stand. The pain shot through her again, and she fell. Max cried out something, but she didn’t quite understand what he said. Whipping out Frankie’s cell phone, he called the ski patrol, then hung up, sitting next to Tera.

“Where are you hurt?” Max asked Tera, who simply smiled and pointed at her leg and rubbed her back. Max nodded, and gave her a hug. She blushed slightly, unsure of what she’d done to deserve it. If she asked Max later, he’d only tell her it was because he was going to keep her warm, which was a lie. After a few moments, the ski patrol came, and took the two back to the lodge.

“Your leg is broken, and you’ve bruised your spine.” The doctor said, after checking Tera’s x-rays, “you won’t be able to participate in the X Games.” Tera’s face fell, as did Max’s. They weren’t a team without her. Sighing, she accepted this fact, and told Max to win it extra hard for her. He smiled.

“I promise.”

ANyways... hope you liked it! Read and review!

   Fake Wings, Chapter 18!!!!
Well, this is the second last chapter... I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have! Next chapter, everything is done. And I have a writer's block, so no bitching about my frigging cliffies, you buttheads!

Chapter 18

While Izayoi and Krad were having their problem with Otomaru, Ian and Minoru seemed to be having their own. No matter how times they knocked Shinigami down, she always seemed to get right back up. Her red aura continued to darken every second, and her power increased. The two men were getting tired, fast. Minoru tried another teleport and attack, but was knocked onto the ground, next to Ian. The younger man healed his friend’s wounds, and they continued to try to defeat Death Incarnate.

“Why do you persist?” Tenji asked, looking at them as if puzzled, “why do you fight for the mortal plain? You shall join me in my world soon enough anyway!” She chuckled and threw her parasol at them, watching as it hit them hard. They both flew backward and hit the wall, leaving sizeable dents. Ian groaned and quickly healed the two of them, and they made another charge. However, it ended with the same results. Shinigami just laughed, and landed on the ground, walking towards the two alters.

“You know…” Tenji began, striding over quietly, “I’ve never had to deal with such persistent creatures before. Not even when I destroyed the original Earth.” She grinned, and swung her parasol at Minoru. Unfortunately for her, he teleported and hit her with his scythe. She cried out and fell over, where Ian tore through her wing leather with his torashuko. With a strangled cry, she fell on the ground, spread-eagled. The two grinned at on another, and shared a high-five.

Unfortunately, their celebration was cut short. Shinigami stood, and began flying... without her wings. Their supposed advantage was gone. She chuckled and waved her hand over her wing. In the quick pass that it covered her arm, it was mended instantly. The two men stared in disbelief, but decided another charge might work. Minoru tossed Ian into the air, which surprised the Death God. Then, Minoru teleported again, and grabbed Ian by the waist, then threw him at Shinigami.

Ian swung past her, swiping the tiger claws at her sides. She cried out in pain, but decided she had them in a good position. Summoning some of her energy, she created a shockwave of red energy, knocking Ian and Minoru into walls at opposite ends of the room. She saw a little blood roll down Minoru’s forehead, and she smiled. Soon… this world would crumble like the original Earth.

***

Otomaru had entangled Izayoi and Krad, who both struggled to free themselves. He was getting tired of them, so he decided he would go ahead and kill them. One of the vines headed straight for Izayoi’s throat, but she caught it in her mouth, tearing it out of the alter. He cried out in pain as green fluid shot out of the plant tendril. Izayoi felt ill, but she knew they would escape this alive.

“I’m tired of playing!” Otomaru shouted, picking a sword up off of Hadden’s desk, “do you have any last words?” He looked at the two of them, grinning psychotically. Krad went to spit at Otomaru, but that wasn’t what came out. His power had chosen to activate itself then and there. Hot fire spewed from his lungs and incinerated Otomaru’s face. The young man cried out, the vines untangling and retreating into his body. Unfortunately for Otomaru, he was a plant now, through and through. And, as I’m sure you all know, plants burn very easily.

“NO!!!” Otomaru wailed, his body soon engulfed in the fire, “though I die, the Shinigami will justify my death and kill you all!!” Then, the fire went into the opening on his stomach, burning him from the inside out. In a puff of smoke, the boy, who had once been the leader of an army of hate, lay on the ground, a pile of bones and ashes. Izayoi looked at Krad incredulously, who only coughed up a puff of smoke. She smiled and walked over to the command center, removing the lockdown so they could escape.

“C’mon…” Izayoi said to Krad, grabbing his wrist, “we need to go rescue Minoru and Ian. Also… I want to see Tenji again.” Her smiled had faded, and she ran off down the hall, Krad on her heels. This was the final encounter; the one that would decide the fate of New Earth.

Anyway, hope you enjoied. Read the last chapter, which is coming out... next week!

   AEGFF, Chapter 17!!!!!
Wel, hyar's Chapter 17!! It almost didn't get up... but it did!! HORRAY!!

Chapter 17

They had left a week after Thanksgiving, and would only be at the X Games until a week before Christmas. The teams had been practicing nonstop, and they’d picked out their events. Max was going to be snowboarding (obviously), both slalom and freestyle. Bobby was doing skiing, which somehow seemed not to be extreme. However, they gave him smaller ski blades and got rid of his poles. He was also doing mountain climbing. P.J. got to do ski jump- unfortunately for him- as well as rock surfing; that’s going down a rocky mountainside on a board with specially made wheels. Tera was doing the luge race as well as ice skating. Which had to be made extreme by adding rails and ramps do to tricks on.

“What are we going to do now? We’ve got a break and everything.” Tera grinned, glad they’d picked a day off. Her toes were numb from practicing her skating, as well as her butt, from practicing for the extreme luge race. Max grinned, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. P.J. had caught a cold, which was why the day off had been taken in the first place. Bobby was at the fireplace, practicing pick up lines to use on the ski bunnies. He made his way over, and tried one. Tera punched him in the face and told him to try it on some cheap bitch.

“Tera, is that you?” A brunette girl shouted, looking over at Tera. She elbowed her red-head friend in the ribs, then gestured at her. They grinned and ran over. Tera recognized them almost immediately, and gave them a hug when they got close enough. Max look at it, puzzled, while Bobby grinned and muttered something Max didn’t hear. Tera grinned and looked over at the guys, bringing her apparent friends with her.

“These are my old friends from Cowtown, Frances and Julia. Call Frances Frankie though.” Tera grinned, introducing the brunette and the red-head, respectively, “man, I haven’t seen you two in forever!” She hugged them again, though Julia (the red-head) reminded her it had only been a year. They grinned nonetheless, and Frances eyed the guys, getting a quizzical look from Max.

“Who are those guys?” Frankie asked, smiling at the two young men, “they’re hot.” As soon as those words left her mouth, she regretted them instantly. Bobby ran up to her, taking her hand and looking up at her over his glasses. Before she could ask what he was doing, he started kissing her hand. She snorted with disgust, but decided to see what else he would do.

“Oh, don’t bother with Max, my sweet flower,” Bobby grinned, scowling when Tera burst out laughing, “he’s already taken by a girl out of state… so we can just play together.” It was at that moment that Bobby had been knocked out by a girl for about the 13th time. Frankie looked pissed. Tera apologized for it; Bobby must’ve been reading over her shoulder. He wouldn’t have said stuff like that on his own.

“Hey, did you know there are hot tubs here?” Julia asked, “there’s nothing more refreshing after a day of skiing than a nice dip in a hot tub.” She grinned, then escorted Frankie out of the room; she looked like she was about to stomp Bobby’s face in. Tera asked Max, who was still conscious, if he’d like to go with her and the girls. He nodded; partially because the hot tub idea was appealing, and partially because he wondered if Tera would wear a one piece or two piece.

Bobby woke up a few minutes later, and decided letting Max, a guy in a relationship, shouldn’t get to be alone in a hot tub with hot girls. Max just sighed and told Bobby to get ready. Tera was a little nervous; she hadn’t packed a bathing suit. Sighing, she rummaged through her clothes, pulling out a black bra and a pair of shorts. ‘This’ll have to do…’ She though, getting out of her clothes and changing into her “swimsuit.”

Max wasn’t prepared either. He just picked out a pair of shorts that he’d packed, in case it was warm. Tera had warned him that weather in Alberta fluctuated… a lot. He smiled and undressed, pulling on the shorts. It wasn’t as comfortable as swimming trunks, but it’d do. Once Bobby was ready, the two guys headed off for the hot tubs, meeting Tera, Frankie and Julia there. Max and Tera had ran into each other (literally) and fallen over. They blushed slightly; that was the most of Max’s body Tera had seen.

“You look pretty good, Maxie.” Tera grinned, helping Max up. He thanked her, and the two climbed into the hot tub. Tera sat between Max and Frankie, just to be sure that Bobby didn’t try to molest her. Also to make sure she didn’t kill him. They got caught up on everything they’d missed; Tera learned about all the interesting exploits her friends had gone on. They were rather weird; Julia had pretended to have a seizure in the middle of a mall.

“It was fun, you know.” Julia grinned, rubbing her gray eyes, “wow, it’s really late; the clock says it’s 12! Whoa. I’m going to bed. See y’all!” She yawned and left the hot tub, followed by Bobby. Tera punched him and told Frankie and Julia to make a run for it while he was still down. Then, she smiled at Max and helped him out of the tub. Then, they went back to their room, to fill P.J. in on what his cold had made him miss.

Well, here ya go. Read and review!!

   Fake Wings, Chapter 17!!!!
Here's Fake Wings again!! Sorry, it's real short.

Chapter 17

Minoru and Ian continued their run after Krad, who led them towards the bunker. Tenji, or the Shinigami, as she’d become, was waiting for them their. Sighing, Minoru hoped that they would be able to stop the apocalypse. If not… well, everything would be gone. Coming here would have been for naught. Krad finally reached the bunker, and he entered the special code. The doors slid open, revealing the Shinigami.

“So… you decided to delay me?” Tenji said, her red eyes glaring at the alters, “why aren’t you saving the hunter girl? After all, she’s going to die if you don’t hurry. Grinning, she formed a ball of red energy and threw it at the alters. They rolled out of the way, watching as the ball exploded into several new balls of energy. Every time they made contact with something, they either tore through it or divided again. It was an odd effect, but it managed to distract them while Tenji flew in and hit them with her umbrella.

This sort of thing continued for a while, as Krad slipped out. He ran off to rescue Izayoi, because he knew that the Shinigami could sense upcoming death. Minoru and Ian were left to distract the Shinigami, hoping they could escape this base with at least a few people alive.

***

“So… you’re a plant too…” Izayoi said, staring at Otomaru as the vines continued to spew from his wound and entangle her, “but… why? How could you do this to yourself?” Otomaru just stared back at her, before bursting out laughing. What was so funny? He wasn’t even remotely human anymore. It was odd; he made it seem like the answer was obvious.

“Power, Izayoi…” Otomaru grinned, “in this world, only the strong survive. That is why I joined Hadden and developed the Hunters. Weed out everyone insufficient; that was our goal. The alters are inferior. They all must die.” Clearly, Otomaru had overlooked the fact that he himself was an alter. Izayoi scoffed and kicked him in the face, trying to wriggle out of the vines. Unfortunately, they only ensnared her further.

“Otomaru!!” Krad shouted, swinging his elbow blades and severing the vines, “leave Izayoi alone!” Otomaru smirked and sent the vines, rewrapping them around Krad. The alter struggled, but soon found himself hopelessly entangled as well. Izayoi, who took advantage of Otomaru’s distraction, swung her nodachi at his waist, separating it from his torso. The boy’s upper body slumped forward, and his waist fell backward. Vines continued to writhe on the floor. Izayoi smirked, glad that she’d done her job.

“Quick… we need to go and get Tenji back. I want to see her once again.” Izayoi said, smiling at Krad. As they approached the door, it slammed shut in their faces. Looking for a cause, they noticed something odd. A creeper vine had pushed the buttons and locked the door! Otomaru began laughing from the floor, the vines sewing through his flesh and reattaching him to his legs. Then, he stood before them again, as though nothing had happened.

“I cannot allow you to stop Shinigami.” Otomaru grinned, “I have worked too hard for you stupid low-lives to stop me!”

AEGFF, Chapter 16!!!!
Here's AEGFF Chapter 16!! The first half of the plot will be done soon, then the second shall begin!! ENJOI!

Chapter 16

Max couldn’t believe he hadn’t realized his love for Tera sooner. This feeling… it had lasted far too long to be a simple infatuation. Her personality… her tender moments… she was beautiful and the coolest girl he’d ever met. Despite her bookish and not so social ways, she was a good person. He didn’t know if she felt this way for him, but he knew he felt that way for her.

“Max, Tera, Goofy, Sylvia!!” Anna called from the kitchen, “time for dinner!” Tera hugged Max one last time, then led him into the kitchen. Goofy and Ms. Marpole had been seated next to each other, though far away from Tera’s mother. She barely looked older than Goofy, but apparently, she was in her late fifties. Mako was 28 and the oldest child, so she couldn't be Goofy’s age.

“So… mom…” Tera asked, sitting down at the table next to Max, feeling butterflies fall in her stomach when she let go of his hand, “how do you and Mr. Goof know each other?” Anna looked daggers at her daughter, but smiled (albeit awkwardly) and obliged her daughter by telling them all.

“You see… I was Goofy’s science teacher in 12th grade…” Anna said, taking some mashed potatoes and dumping them on her plate, “and I helped him do a lab involving some flammable substances. Goofy accidentally mixed the two, and it exploded, lighting my hair on fire… I was bald for a long time after that.” She shot Goofy a contemptuous glare, then passed the potatoes down.

“I’ll carve the turkey!” Goofy said, trying to change the subject. However, just before he leaned across the table for the knife, everyone screamed “NO!!”, and Hana took the knife from him. She apologized for being rude, then carved the turkey. Then, everyone took pieces; Tera ended up fighting Sora for the turkey heart. Then, Tera licked it, and stuffed it in her mouth.

“VICTORY!!” Tera shouted, her voice muffled by the turkey. Max burst out laughing, accidentally flinging some mashed potatoes at Anna. They smacked her in the face and sent her and her chair falling backward. Everyone stared in shock, then looked at Max, who looked mortified. When Anna rose from behind the chair, she looked somewhat like Satan Incarnate. That’s how mad she seemed, at least.

“Well, at least you’re going to the X Games next week…” Anna huffed, “just don’t injure my daughter while you’re doing your tricks.” Then, she sat down and ate again, giving Tera a shocking revelation. She suddenly remembered her bet with Chad… she didn’t want to go on a date with him. At least she’d gone on a date with Max first though.

“No more bitch pills for you, Miss Crabby Ass…” Tera muttered, swallowing the turkey heart, then taking some more food. Thanksgiving dinner ended rather quietly; there were no more incidents, even though Sora had tried to start a food fight. Tera and Max then went back on the deck, and talked about the X Games… They were going to the big leagues. If they lost, it’d be broadcast on national T.V. Of course, that wasn’t the only problem they’d be facing there.

***

The plane trip was rather interesting; Tera had stood up in the middle of the flight and began singing songs by My Chemical Romance rather loudly in the aisle. She was pretty good at singing; much better than those stupid American Idols that were springing up everywhere. Max managed to sit next to her, because she’d punched Bobby unconscious and swapped him and Max seats.

“Thank you for the venom is by far my favorite…” Tera grinned, “but they have plenty of good songs.” Max nodded, and she smiled, looking out the window. They were in Canada again, heading into the Rocky Mountains. Alberta was beautiful; a cool blanket of thick, white snow covered it as far as the eye could see. It was still snowing even then.

“We’re almost there…” Max grinned, “you ready for this? ‘Cause we didn’t come all this way just to lose!” She nodded and they high fived one another, then smiled, waiting for the plane to land. It soon began its descent, and soon enough, they were in the city of Banff. The cold hit them like a crashing wave, but Tera, who had lived in Alberta for the last year, said it was warmer than usual.

“C’mon, we’ve still got time!” Tera chuckled, “let’s make a snowman to commemorate your first day in Canada!!” She began rolling up snowballs, but was hit in the back of the head. Bobby had thrown it, and was laughing stupidly. With a dangerous look in her eyes, Tera grinned at Bobby. Then, she rolled up three snowballs and pelted Bobby with them. She threw a few at P.J. next, but he picked up Bobby and used him as a human shield.

“SNOWBALL WAR!!” Max yelled, picking up some snow and hurling it at Tera, “every man and woman for themselves!!” That was how many hours of their first day at the X games began, and it would certainly be an interesting competition.

Well, there ya go. Read and review both stories, like I always say!
