   Casino Night
Well this is a fundaraiser that's going to be going on tonight for the Rotary International. It's Casino Night and it's my first time volunteering. I woke up today awfully early ( @ 8:30 am =D) coz we had to set up at the place where we were gonna be voluteering at. We did the balloons. Everything else was pretty much done. Haha! =D After that we just gave my friend Carol a ride home. We were told at the meeting that the setup was gonnabe from 9:30 am til 1:00 pm. Everything was done in an hour!

So much for that. I'm sleepy right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not lazy or anything, I just love to sleep =D

   Bleh
Kinda pissed off coz Nickelodeon didn't show "Avatar" again. What surprise (sarcasm). Anyway, I get to watch it FOUR times tomorrow and Sunday =D

I called CLU this afternoon, just to check some stuff out, you know, double checking before the deadline of most things on Aug 8th.
I don't want to brag or anything (no I don't want to) but I'm getting Honors at Entrance on Aug 31st. What's that? Really? Sounds good n' all but, what did I do to get that? The suspense is killing me >.< There's gonna be an Opening Convocation and such, at 10:00 am. I believe I have a class at that time :-O

I want a Coffee Bean Ice Blended Mocha r/now ^_^ So hot today...

Anyway, I've started reading "All Quiet in the Western Front". It's a required reading material. I wouldn't say that it's boring coz I usually end up loving all the books I read, but I have a hard time concentrating. I find myself rereading the same paragraph over and over. Bleh. Need to get over that.

That songs sings nonsense. I'm sure there are no lyrics. That's what ambient is all about. Just beautiful noise. Really, just noise. lol =D I barely figured that that's where I usually come up with my stories. No wonder they're a bunch of nonsense.

Ok, ok...being too negative here.

After being exposed to "Avatar: The Last Airbender"'s major, major and I mean MAJOR spoilers today, I'm feeling quite anxious and disturbed at the fact that there's truths out there that I don't know about but merely hinted at. I mean, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW EPISODES TO ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTIONS!!

   Time for an update
Well I'm still in the middle of my summer vacations. Things are going alright. I had a Interact meeting @ Toppers today. I saw my friend Carol again, since like a month or two. We talked and caught up on stuff. She has a job now. I still need one! I'm such a bum! >.<

Today was my dad's b-day. Lol! So there's cake in the fridge r/now. It's an ice cream cake.

I start college on Aug. 31st. I'm still kinda nervous tho. I'm gonna be commuting n'stuff. But yeah, I hope it's not as bad as I think. I'm the shy type and it takes time for me to be comfortable around new ppl. LoL

Anyway, a store about three blocks away burned down friday night. Since it was in the middle of the night we didn't find out until last night when my sister n' law told us. It used to be called "Hughes" and it was a supermarket in the 80s and mid 90s. But it was shut down and turned into a swap meet. There was even a pet store-like shop in there. I wonder if they rescued the animals in time!! No one got hurt because there was no one inside. That's the third time something burns down in a time range of 5 years, around our neighborhood. That, plus a bomb threat in the local bank less than a mile away.

This is a scary world!

   GRADUATED!!!
Well I'm officially outta High School. I graduated on Friday from CIHS. i'M NOW ALUMNI! Fun thing is, I get to come back during the summer to visit all my band friends during band camp at College Park. Bwaha! Can't wait!!

   to all the Seniors out there!!!
Well this is it SENIORS!! The clock is ticking and soon we’re outta CIHS!! This is the last Friday when we have to come back on a boring Monday! The LAST FRIDAY!!!! Remember those days in elementary when we came out of school on a Friday and we played all afternoon, and then spent the weekend doing whatever, returned on a boring Monday, all sleepy and not wanting to be there? I sure do. Those weekends when I had to stay past bedtime to work on a project? Of course I remember that. This is the LAST WEEKEND!! Our last REGULAR WEEKEND!!! It’s been a routine for the last 13 years, (for some 14 if you had preschool) to go to school everyday and come home on a Friday. Sure we’re going to have summer break and all, but we’re no longer going to the school in our home town, we’re now going to college. Some of us to colleges very far and we won’t be able to come home everyday. So yea, just cherish these last few days we have because we won’t be able to come back to them ever again….

   My last booster meeting
Save the best for the last...the last booster meeting was awesome. Only three of the remaining seniors who are officers went. Next year is gonna be awesome for band. I g2g but I'm sure I'll be back because my brother is in the band. BWAHA!! Awwwww....CAROL!! She was the band president while I was the secretary. OMG, she's been a great friend!!! She gave me rides home, she introduced me to everyone in band in my freshman year, she played the same intrument as me, heck we were even the section leaders. We encouraged each other before a concert to play our very best, she and I have the same last name (we are not cousins) but we call each other "cousin" anyway, she and I are sitting together at the graduation ceremony!!!! She was the first I met when I entered high school!!!! And she barely turned 18 June 1st! Also, today was our last booster meeting. We "high fived" after the meeting was adjourned; our mission was complete.

   Nothing much
Booster meeting today at 6:30 pm.

I'm listening to the Pocahontas soundtrack. Although the cartoon was so inaccurate to what really happened with the English settlers and the real Pocahontas, the Disney version is really good. It's one of my favorite Disney cartoons. I dunno why. The music is awesome.

I got my yearbook yesterday. Need to get more signatures! ^.^

Today was a weird day.

My friend Monica was sick Monday and Tuesday, but I'm glad she came to school today because we have this huge project for my Physics class that's due before Graduation. Grr! And most of the stuff is saved on her student server. I didn't have her password so I just sat around and worked on the "astronaut recruitment" poster. It was so annoyingly simple that I just decided to start and finish it. I turned it in to Mr.Davis today. He liked it, and recognized that some of the pictures were anime! LOL! I used Lafiel from Crest of the Stars. So that was cool; I got all 100 points! ^_~
