   Shy? Dysfunctional?
Well I am shy. But avoidant? I don't know...anyway I just put it up there because I couldn't see the other one.

It's Saturday and for some reason it feels like Sunday. Yesterday felt like Saturday. Hmmm...and thurday felt like Friday. Aack!!

My mom and I are going out to the mall. I gotta wear something for the band banquet. Gosh, I'm such a geek. Hey I'm not geek! I'm just too involved. And no! It's not the same thing!

I'm not sleepy anymore! Yay! I like my Mickey Mouse ears! They're attached to a graduation hat. And I like my "Gradnite 2005" beanie. All the stuff in the shops were "Gradnite" themed. I wonder how the ppl there changed everything in a couple of hours and then put it away before the normal public came.

One thing I also noticed from the other schools was that everyone towered above the people from our school! We were short compared to them! I'm 5'4'' ^.^

   bleh
Caught up w/ my sleep in the afternoon. Disneyland hangover...And to think that I have a lot of HW to do still before school's out just kills it. Aw man, I hate physics. Mr. Davis lowered everyone's grades because he added stuff to the grade book. I dunno why he's making us work even more if AP tests are over and done with!! I had a perfect C+, almost a "B" and he dropped me to a D!!! What the-? I need 900 ponts to get a C now! Grr!!

Well tonite there was the County Festival for band. I didn't go because I was very sleepy. Our director didn't go either-he assigned our Drum Major Carlos to conduct the band. Who does that? If it's a concert band competition, YOU DON'T PUT A STUDENT TO DIRECT THE BAND!! That was weird. Oh well. Carlos is a good band conductor, he knows how to lead better than us, of course. Hopefully all went well.

   30 HOURS WITHOUT SLEEP....
Gradnite was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

1st. Woke up, Thursday morning at 7:15 am to get ready to go to school.

2nd. Arrived to school at 8:01 am. Kinda late but teacher didn't care.

3rd. Had normal day at school, came out at 3:00 p.m.

4th. Went home then came back at 5:40 to school and wait for ppl to start showing up. Met up with other seniors who were going to Gradnite. Took pics, the works...

5th. Buses were supposed to be loaded by 7:30 pm. Only two of the "eight buses" were at school. Panic and frustration among students.

6th. More buses arrive by 8 pm. I find out that bus eight wasn't coming. So ppl who were supposed to go on bus eight went to bus three.

7th. I boarded bus #3 with Marie, Jona, Nash, Monica, Ben, and Heherson.

8th. Left school at 9 pm. Arrived to Disneyland at 10:4o pm. I was surprised we got there quickly.

Well anyway, we got into the park, I regrouped with my buddies Carol and Anna. We had a fun time riding on "The Haunted Mansion", "Indiana Jones Adventure" (omg, that ride was so awesome!) "Star Tours", "Mr. Toad", "Winnie the Pooh adventure", "The Snow White Scary-something", along with some other rides as well. We had a great time taking pictures and buying stuff. I hadn't been there in a while. Many things that I expected to see the same as the last time I was there, were different. "Small World" was remodeled, or so I heard. There were all kinds of dance floors with light and booming music. I was there for the rides. Even though some ppl say it's a kiddie park, it's still fun. A lot of seniors hopped into the rides. My all time favorite was "Indiana Jones." It's so exhilirating. The main castle had all kinds of neon lights; it was very colorful and pretty.

We had to board the bus again at 6:00 and leave at 6:30. The way back was a nightmare. I couldn't fall asleep, and the traffic was slow. There were two accidents on the 405 freeway, that for miles, we moved at about 15 mph. Traffic wasn't moving at all. It took us three hours to get back to school. We arrived to CIHS at 10:04 am, had McDonald's donated breakfast food. It was very good. Especially the Costco muffins. yum...

The principal allowed all the seniors to go home. It's noon right now...bwaha. My lil' bro is at school r/now in lunch, and there are no seniors on campus at all. Bwahahaha...

It's not that I gave up...
...writing that one story that I had going on in MyO , truth is that I was writing it in my notebook and got halfway through it. And then...suffered from writer's block! >.< I'll get back on it as soon as I get to summer break.

Anyways, today is Gradnite!!!! Going to Disneyland today. So while all of you are sleeping, I'm gonna be in Disneyland all night, until dawn. We come back to school around 6 AM-7 AM, have our "senior breakfast" and then we get to go home and begin our three day weekend. Or is it four day weekend? I dunno. I gotta get back to school right now at 6:30-ish. Maybe earlier, since I wanna get a good seat. Hahaha...

   No body likes Jason!
I don't know if that's the right thing to say, but it's true. No one likes him because he's an awful person! OMGosh! Jason is this guy who goes to my school and he's a pervert, wannabe dancer, and ... a big perv! He went out with my friend only to take advantage of her! He's a tenth grader, but goes out with little Jr. High girls who know nothing about the horrible world out there (they probably do), but I mean...no one likes him. He tries to be "cool" and everybody pretends that he likes him, but no one does because his personality is unpredictable. He's a sex pervert with all the girls he meets. He even tried to hit on my dear friend. She had no idea what he was telling her, but I did. I just felt like strangling him! >.< What a dumbass (sorry for the language). No one likes him because of his rotten behavior. It's disgusting what he says about girls. Anyway, I'm pissed at him coz he took a section of my newspaper today. >.< I didn't care about the newspaper; he could do whatever he wanted with it, but the rudeness is appalling. Thank goodness I'm graduating very soon!

I found out that I'm riding on bus #8 for Gradnite, same bus as my friend Jona and her b/f Nash. I hope the 2 1/2 hr trip to Disneyland a.k.a "RatLand" isn't boring since they're not allowing CD players on the bus. Hopefully someone brings a movie or something. I get dizzy reading a book while a vehicle is moving. @_@

Today was also a dramatic day in many aspects. My friend Armay, a junior, didn't get to be D-Line capt. It was so sad. If I were her, I'd cry. She had been in drumline for a long time and she was expecting to be captain as a senior. But she didn't get it. In many ways I think it was unfair. She's the only junior in the line and she's going to be senior next year. She has strong leadership skills and would've done a great captain. But like I've said to my band geek buddies, "in drumline, there's favoritism". The one who was chosen to be captain happens to be the current co-capt's little brother. He's a sophomore and lacks leadership skills. Come on, I see these people everyday. I study their behaviors. LoL.

Anyway, today I have a concert at 7:00. I have to be there at 6:30. I think we're gonna suck, but everyone is welcome to attend. LoL! This may be my last concert ever!!!! No!! ::tear:: Hopefully nothing goes wrong, like me tripping or something. Hehehe...

I can't wait til Saturday...I may go watch "Revenge of the Sith". I just happen to be one of the few who haven't watched it...yet. Keyword is "yet".

Today for english, we had an essay exam for the play "A Streetcar Named Desire". Five paragraphs. Hopefully I did well. I whipped up an outline during my Physics class, which I have 5th period. English is 6th period. And believe me, the outline was a great help!

That's all for now. I'll see you all later!

There was no school for me today!
Dunno if I should be happy or not about missing school today coz I have a lot of stuff to do at school this week. First, tomorrow I have to get a hair cut. Just the hair tips coz I'm beginning to get split ends. I haven't cut it since November. Too much info, anywho...Second, I have to get working on my Calculus group project. I need to start doing the math. Hopefully my teacher, Mr. McCulley gives us time to work the problem out tomorrow. It's due next week!! I also have to turn in some physics work, then on wednesday I have a concert. Gradnite is this thursday and friday. Friday we have another band function, and I have to mail some college forms, Saturday more stuff that I can't remember. If I don't have n e thing to do then, then my bro and I will head out to the movies and watch "Star Wars III". Sunday he's going to Six Flags while I go to my friends B-day party. She says that if no one comes then whoever does go will go to the movies instead. I think a lot of people will come to her b-day party. It's a Sunday and there's nothing to do on Sundays but to go to parties and stuff. But yea, she says that if gets boring we'll go to the movies. We'll see what happens. May 31st, I have another Economics project due, worth extra credit points, points that I need. I have a "B", just 2 pts away from an "A'. June 1st is another concert at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, the same night as Senior Awards night. I dunno if I should go to the awards nite because it would suck if I went with my entire family and I didn't win any scholarship. It would be embarrasing. June 3rd is the Band Banquet. I fear a lot of people fussing over the fact that they're not getting those annual awards of chevrons and letters. Mr. Teruel only ordered medals for seniors and pins for the sophomores.Freshmen aren't getting their chevrons nor the juniors their letters. They're gonna get pissed and complain to the officers, like me! Poor Carol, she's president this year. And oh yeah, I have to call the Jr. High Schools this week regarding the recruitment for the Jr. High school bands, so they become interested in joining the Channel Islands High School Band...oh yeah!
So much to do before the year ends! So little time! I wanna graduate r/now!! I wanna leave all those pressures!! I have to make up a test tomorrow!! oh no!! Eh, it's gonna be an easy one. My friend told me so. Plus I know the story "Richard III".

OMG... I came across these sad news when I logged on to myotaku...
I'm sure some of you have already seen it but here it goes...

The news article:

And the victim's xanga:

What happened is so sad. My prayers to him and to his sister, and to his family who are going through a difficult time.

   ...
R.I.P.
Pope John Paul II (1920-2005)

He will forever be remembered as one of the greatest Popes in history. Catholics, non-Catholics, and ex-Catholics cannot deny the greatness of his papacy. He reached out to all people in the world in search of world peace. In his time as head of the Church, he helped defeat communism in Poland and Eastern Europe, and has been an unwavering proponent of the poor and the downtrodden across the planet. Pope John Paul II led his life in the service of God, and with the best intentions for humanity at heart.John Paul II has been such a child of God, in fact, that he was the first pope since St. Peter visit a synagogue, and during his papacy, he made progress in reaching out to other major world religions. He is the third longest-reigning pontiff, canonized the most saints than all of the previous popes combined, and he was the most travelled pope.

Let's unite in remembering the life of the greatest pope of the 20th century, and may he forever be remembered for his kindness and love towards humanity and for his service to the Lord.
