   9/11/2001
It's been four years since the nation changed forever. I remember that morning as I got ready to head out for school. I was only a high school freshman and I had woken up rather early in the morning for early-bird band practice. It was 7:00 am when I turned on the TV and the first thing I saw was a burning tower. The top of the tower had smoke flowing out of it. I had little knowledge of that tower; I didn't even know its name until the CNN news headlines mentioned it: World Trade Center, hit by a terrorist attack. I can't say that I felt scared but I was rather concerned about the ppl in the towers. I wondered if the ppl had already escaped the towers to safety. I wondered if the firemen were already on their way to rescue them. I wondered how long this had been going on. I wondered what caused it. I was being rushed by time to get to school. I left home at 7:15 am.

All day that day, my classes had the TV on and it's where I learned more about what had happened. We did nothing in class but watch the TV coverage on the attacks. Teachers said that the terrorists did that as a result of America's imperialistic ways on 3rd world countries, that they did it for revenge because Afghanistan was in serious poverty and the US did nothing about it but to exploit them. I dunno whether I believed it or not since we where never told a real reason why this happened. Anyone can believe what they want to. If the terrorists really did it out of revenge because America is so greedy, then why do they also oppress their own ppl? The Taliban? Shouldn't they work together to survive, instead of killing ppl for pointless crimes? Just watch the movie Osama
and you'll see what I mean

I love this movie. It's straight out of Afghanistan (foreign film) and it's just sad. It depicts how ppl had to live under the Taliban.

Anyway, yea. I guess we will all remember where we were that day when we found out about 9/11. We can remember the events that followed that whole day. I'll never forget it.

   FRIDAY!!
Friday is always awesome. Well I came home from school today, arriving rather late to my lil bro's school. He called me while I was still in school to remind me to drop off his amp at his high school. Yeah, i would've if I hadn't been caught by the traffic (rushhours in S. Cali are veeeerrryy bad). It was 3:00 pm and the freeway was already packed with cars; they hardly moved five feet coz they were all stopped. Traffic congestion. Well, anyway I got off at the nearest exit and made my way through long detours from one to city to my own city. I got to my lil brother's school at 3:45 pm. He kept calling me coz he wanted his guitar amp for the "Battle of the Guitar ppl" thingie. So I got there, JUST IN TIME. Went home, dropped off some stuff and headed over with my mom to my auntie's business where I have a "temp" job. I wouldn't really call it a job since I'm just filling in for someone who's one leave for a while. I'm just doing her a favor, I don't expect to get paid or anything. The job is just bookeeping. Heh...but here's the catch...: I don't like doing business stuff. Business matters are one of my weaknesses coz I dunno anything about it. I just do what I'm told, so it's ok I guess. lol.

   Battle of the Guitars
So my lil brother challenged his friend to a guitar duel. Or was it his friend who challenged him? I dunno. But they're gonna challenge each other on Friday and I don't wanna miss it! It's a friendly competition of course. They're both really great. His friend sounds like a pro, but his secret is that he self-taught himself, just like my lil bro is right now. It's true what he said, "One develops a unique style if you self teach yourself". That's how most rock stars become famous because they either do something different or unique; it's the result of self-teaching. The Ramones, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, you name it. LoL.

   Adriana!!
I can't believe I saw Adriana again after like, 2 years! Adriana was my best friend since 6th grade in Jr. High. I hadn't talked to her since 11th grade. Since she moved about a lot, she and I had lost contact. Her phone number would always change n'stuff. It wasn't until yesterday that I saw her again. She said I changed a lot from the days in Jr. High. LoL!! Was it my hair?? Glasses?? I dunno! But she too was happy to see me again. It's weird that after so long, we talk to each other not like strangers but like good close friends. :D

   Boo
Just when I was getting into Samurai Champloo...they cut it off til October. Grr.

Anyway, school officially starts tomorrow.

My friends have already started going to their own colleges, 'cept me. :D My lil bro also starts going to H.S. tomorrow. Hahaha! He's a lil sophomore. I gotta say, my Sophmore year was the awesomest ever! I loved 10th grade! Only one detail got in the way of making it the AWESOMEEST-SUPEREST-BESTEST year ever: My English 2 teacher Mr. Gajardo >:O I'm convinced he's a hidden, unrevealed child molester. BUT he's now working at another high school this year.

Anyway, I changed my major and minor. I have a load of stuff waiting for me to do. I mean, YEARS of it. But I know it'll all be worth it :)

   CLU orientation
Well I just came back from my orientation. It was fun and there was a lot of information. All of my tuition has been paid off, now all I have to do is get my textbooks. But I'll do that once I change this one class on Monday.

Well it was hot, very typical of the inner mountain region. My legs hurt coz of all the walking. :-P I'm thinking of taking the path of the medical field. Hmm...I once considered that but then I dunno what happened and I kinda got this interest in computers. lol! But yea, I'm thinking about the medicine career path.

Well after checking out the TV schedule listings for Nickelodeon, it turns out that the Avatar: The Last Airbender marathan was replaced with a marathon for Spongebob Squarepants. XP I was happy tho, because that was I wouldn't feel so bad about missing my favorite show. Bwahaha!

Today I'll get to watch Inuyasha: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass on Cartoon Network. Yay! ^^

   Lola Reint
omg THAT was a crazy movie!!!!! It's now my favorite movie!!!

I just came back from "Casino Night" at OPAC and I just couldn't get rid of my chips coz I kept winning on Roulette. It was my first time playing it in person but I got the rules of the game and soon I was just kicking behinds! I was winning all kinds of chips at the table.

*The most memorable moment*!

In "Lola Reint" a.k.a Run Lola Run, Lola goes to the casino and cashes in her only 100 for some chips. She bets them on the Roulette table, putting her chip on the "20" mark. The ball ends up stopping on the 20 and she wins the 100,000 German marks she needed to save her boyfriend.

Well, I too betted on the 20 tonight and I won! The ball hit the 20! Lucky me!!!
