   The Army's Tired Now
That title up there is a TMBG song, and a rare one, too.

I was sick yesterday. Bummer, I know, but I got to watch "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross, the happy trees guy. I woke up at 9:30 and stayed in bed all day.

As my brother said, KOF finally came out, and we've beaten it with a lot of the characters. They're mostly cool, that's what I like about KOF games.

Senior retreat is over. I had fun and made some (kinda) new friends. I went on a few hikes, including a long, muddy, narrow, steep, thorny, spider-webby one. But it was an adventure. When there was nothing to do, I sat in various trees and read Neverwhere.

I'm going to an Improv Fest on Saturday, and according to my teacher I have to be the class representative. Our pres isn't going, and I'm the secretary, so I have the most seniority (I'm also a senior) of those of us who are going.

I'm getting psyched about my story. 9 out of 25 villains, so far. Hoping to get another tomorrow or Monday, so... yeah.

Ja ne!

   AAAAAAAARGH!
%$@# Game Crazy! They said that game was coming out, but it didn't come out! I hate them.

I watched Evangelion! It had a pretty weird ending, all psychological and stuff. And it ends with everyone clapping for Shinji and saying "Congratulations!" There's also Kaworu, who made me laugh so much! I've never seen an actual guy like him in an anime, but it sounds like something I would say making fun of a guy like him! "Take a shower with me?" He's weird!

I also watched Castle of Cagliostro. Lupin is so funny! The ending of that movie was cheesy and predictable, though. The stupid girl wants to be a theif and Lupin tells her it's not the kind of life for a pretty girl like her... How corny. But it was directed by Miyazaki, and it shows! It was pretty cool and really funny!

I'm feeling sick today. Maybe it's 'cause I was out in the rain at RF's soccer game yesterday... My throat is so sore it hurts to breathe!

I've been told that I'm being really impatient over my story because no one else is really that excited about it. I've been bugging people about giving me their villains, but so far I only have three from other people, and four I made myself.

I've been goin' crazy over seiyu again. (Ha ha. I finally learned the Japanese word for it!) That's voice actors for those of you who don't know. I need more anime... I need FLCL...

Ja ne, I guess...

   Feelin' sick, but still kickin'!
Yeah, I'm not feeling so hot. My stomach's really bothering me.

The new K.O.F. 2006 game comes out tomorrow! Finally!

My brother and I rented the last three episodes of Evangelion and Castle of Cagliostro, but we probably won't have time to watch them.

I'm designing 25 villains for my story! If you want to make one, pm me and I'll e-mail you a Character Model sheet. I already have six. The sheet will explain more.

Other than that, I've been awfully lonely lately. Sure I've got friends at school, but it seems like everyone's always doing something else and I'm left by myself. The senior retreat is this weekend, but I don't want to go. I'm not really friends with anyone in my class...

I want some Matsuri Akino manga, but can't find any! I want to read something besides Petshop of Horrors! I need aesthetic, gothic manga!

   Hilo!
Um... our drama meeting yesterday was pretty cool... A lot more people showed up than I thought! We're going to the Oregon Improv Fest! Yay! And the National Thespian Conference, too... I'm the only senior in drama. Besides Matt, of course! He didn't show up yesterday...

I got a new game over the weekend! Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney! Yeah, the name is cheesy... I wish they'd kept the Japanese name (Gyakuten Saiban), but the game is really fun! I'm stuck, though. That's the reason I got on the internet anyway... To look for help!

My classes are pretty cool so far! I like all of them, and they don't seem too hard. Except that $150 calculator I need for Pre Cal... Anyhow, I've gotta go!

Wish L luck - although it's a little late for that!

   Huh? What?
Gosh, I'm so tired. That's what happens when you stay up really late during the summer and then have to go back to school. I like my classes... Mostly... My favorite class would either be Philosophy, Psychology, or Anatomy... I have the coolest classes! My club is kicking off great, and guess what?! We have a new drama director because our very cool principal hired her a few days ago! Yahoo! Anyway, nothing of particular interest has happened to me, I just thought I needed to post. How do you like my new background? I am trying to figure out a text color that will be readable without you having to highlight it. Any suggestions?

Our club got a new member and she may - I said MAY - be getting an account on the otaku! I'll tell you if she does.

There are a lot of really loud people at my school, and they always happen to be standing right behind me...

   STUPID GAME CRAZY!!!
Apparantly, the KOF game I want "doesn't have a release date yet." Stupid game... Ah well... I went to a party yesterday! It was for two reasons: Reason the First, my two students (I was teaching my friends - they're twins, and a year younger than me - Japanese for $10 an hour) finished their Japanese Course 1 and can officially take Japanese 2 next year! Reason the Second, our club J-MASU (Japanese Media Appreciation Society - with the U added to make it a Japanese verb) was having a meeting. We went on a hike on a big, big hill and got lost for about an hour.

I also got two $10 gift cards for Kinokuniya, a Japanese bookstore! So we went there today and I got The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time manga and some manga paper like pros use! So I'll have some ToonMasta comics up soon, hopefully! I just need to draw them... I guess the panels aren't really exciting. They're mostly square because I origingally did them on notebook paper, but they're funny and I hope you'll read them. I'll try to finish soon, I don't know how much time I'll have once school starts - which is tomorrow! Although, I do have two free periods (out of four!) on A days, so maybe I will have time after all! Hope so! See ya when my art is done or when I wanna talk some more! Ja ne!

   I finished Crime and Punishment!!!
I finally did it! I finished Crime and Punishment! I'm so glad to be done with it, though I really enjoyed the book. It reminded me of Deathnote... Speaking of, I saw a really cool book at Kinokuniya (a Japanese bookstore) called "Blanc et Noir," which I think means "black and white" in French. Ironic, because it's a book of color pictures by Takeshi Obata (artist of Deathnote and Hikaru No Go). It's like $60, though! I DID get something while I was there, though! It's a Yu-Gi-Oh! Character Guide and it's in Japanese! My new project is to translate the stuff I can't read! Yay! They also had Mario, Kirby, and Zelda manga! Ha ha! Anyway... I saw a Tales of the Abyss manga and a Tales of Legendia manga, so I was looking for a Symphonia manga, but I couldn't find one. I wanna go back there when I have more money... Oh! But I got the Yu-Jyo and Unity cards in Japanese with my Yu-Gi-Oh! book! I'm getting into Yu-Gi-Oh! again...

My brother and I bought the first 14 episodes of Yu-Yu Hakusho last weekend! They were "uncut," but not really violent or profane or anything. Because of them, I want to get Yu-Gi-Oh! uncut DVDs so I can watch it in Japanese... Heh...

Anyway, my only other cool news is that I'm going to Doodle 7's house tonight! Yay! I'll be back either tomorrow or Sunday probably... See ya then! Bye!

   Manga Update!
I just bought Deathnote 7 and Black Cat 4 last week. Deathnote is probably my favorite manga, but I'm not sure anymore... I was so sad! I'm not gonna spoil anything. If you've read it, you know what I'm talking about. And Black Cat was just kinda stupid. "Oh no! There's a murderer and a dinosaur and Train has to be Rinslet's date and oh! Eve is special now!" The only thing I really liked about it was the story about Sven and Lloyd. Sven is cool. Lloyd is, too. That story made me sad...

My brother also got manga. He got the 10th HunterXHunter (I like HunterXHunter. I like Hisoka, Kurapika, and Shizuku. My brother likes Leorio). Did you ever notice the parallels between HunterXHunter and Yu Yu? You know they're both Yoshihiro Togashi's manga, right? Actually, a lot of you are probably confused. Heh heh...

The Oracle (my brother) also got Ultimate Muscle 4 and Bleach 3 and 4. We each collect 3 manga series (it's all we can afford to collect). He gets Bleach, HunterXHunter, and Ultimate Muscle (of which HunterXHunter is his favorite) and I get Black Cat, Deathnote, and D. Gray-Man (of which Deathnote is MY favorite).

We also just got the Ultimate Muscle PS2 game only to learn we can't play 2-player (because we only have one actual PS2 controller and 3 PS1 ones). So that sucks. We were going to get KOF 2006 which was SUPPOSED to come out on Tuesday, but they changed the date, so now it comes out on Labor Day. We reserved it at Game Crazy because we'll get a free anime DVD with it when it does come out!

BTB, I really would like to draw actual fan art, but I only want to draw things from series I'm actually familiar with. Here's a list:

HunterXHunter, Ultimate Muscle, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Rayearth, D. Gray-Man, Black Cat, Tales of Symphonia (and Legendia), Eyeshield 21 (Devil Bats only), Kingdom Hearts, FLCL, Naruto (but not all the characters), One Piece, EarthBound, King of Fighters (all of them), Soul Calibur (all of them), Tekken (4 and 5), Battle Arena Toshinden, Fire Emblem (Path of Radiance and Sacred Stones)... Zelda and Mario games. Practically all major Nintendo characters...

   Oooooooooooh gosh...
I thought this week was going good, but I was wrong. First off, I'll start with the cool parts. On Monday through Thursday the Oracle and I took a Level 2 Flash Class through Saturday Academy. It was great. For three hours a day, we got to just mess around with Flash - the animation software. I made a cartoon about a wizard named Greve and his little friend - she's not a fairy, but she's the size of one. She looks gothic and has one red wing - named Kuroshi (using the kanji for "black" and "four". I could've used the kanji for "death" instead of four, but I just wanted to use four in something because it's the Japanese bad-luck number - ironically, because it has the same sound as the kanji for "death"). I pulled some awesome music from Newgrounds. Milkman_Dan and MaestroSorrow are awesome composers! The Oracle made some cool videos for TMBG stuff. Mostly Fingertips, because they're short, but he started an Ana Ng video. I hope to get Flash someday soon... Anyway, now for the bad news. Almost every day the Oracle and I took the bus downtown and back because our parents were working. On Thursday, the last day of the class, our dad drove us down there because he wanted to watch the cartoons we made. On the way back from the class, though, we got into a car accident. I freaked out so much I started crying. Fortunately I was sitting in the back seat - which must have been the work of God, because I almost always sit in the front, but I got in the back becuase I didn't want to get into the car from the busy street. If I had been in the front, I probably would've gotten hurt. I guess it wasn't too bad of an accident. We rear ended a guy, but our airbags didn't come out. Our hood was all smashed up and one of the headlights was smashed in, but the car was still driveable. Now it's in the shop and we've got a rental, but I'm just glad we are all okay. That was the scariest thing that's ever happened to me.

   My Woes are Over!
I finally logged onto the website for school! Now I just need to finish the book, and all that crap, but at least I don't have to worry about it anymore!

Oh, Doodle. As far as characters with glasses go, here's a list of ones I'll gladly draw. So pick one for me!

Komui Lee from D. Gray-man
Doctor from Black Cat
Charden from Black Cat
Jeff from EarthBound
Julius from Dream Legends/Megan's Friends
Xavier from Dream Legends
Jun Liang from ASYLUM
Matt from ToonMasta
The Pervert Fan from ToonMasta

Oh! I'll also draw Kabuto from Naruto. I think he's cool.

Anyone else you can think of that I would know, you can post about. I guess I could draw the dad from Totoro. He has glasses. I should do some Miyazaki art. Anyhow, I'm taking requests from anyone for anything within my knowledge and art skills. Just say the word, and I'll draw it - if I feel up to the challenge.
