This Is My Day
Two things have happened today that make me want to crawl up on my roof and scream at the top of my lungs. Over dramatic? Yes. >.<

First: SPARKLE-CHAN MADE ME THE BEST ECARD EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
By now you should know that I love the band Fahrenheit. I particularly like Wu Chun. So after begging asking Sparkle-chan to make me an ecard, I was very happy to see that she made me one today. Check it out!!

Isn't he lovely? *gives dreamy sigh*

*cough* Right. Anyway, the second thing that happened to me is this: I GOT PHOTOSHOP CS3!!!!!!!! *bounces off the walls* I went back to my brother's college bookstore and they got it!! I'm so happy!! Right, so, for those of you who have that program, you'll be getting lots of questions from me. I'm gonna try to figure it out for myself, and the program came with a tutorial. Still, I may end up just sending people pm's asking for help. So consider this a warning in advance!!

In other unimportant new, I went to orientation at my university on Tuesday night. It was ok. Totally useless in my opinion, but I had to go. They wouldn't let me register for classes if I didn't go. So I finally registered for my classes and found out I can only take two. T.T Statistics and Accounting Concepts. I really wanted to go full time, but all the classes I need are full. Well, I really can't blame anyone except myself. I was the one who waited until the last minute to go to orientation. The only good thing was that I met a lady who just moved here last week. She's going for the same degree I am (business administration with a concentration in accounting - doesn't that sound fun?) so we're taking the same classes together. Study buddy!!

Oh! Oh! I got promoted to Senior Otaku!! *gives self pat on the back* Lol! Actually, I'm not big on the rank thing. The only good thing so far is that I get more choices when sending gifts! ^.^

Well, I'll try to comment and stuff, but if you don't hear from me, its because I'm using CS3. >.< I'll probably loose much sleep tonight and this time L will have nothing to do with it.

See ya around!

Ugh...I gotta killer headache and a soar throat. I really hope I'm not comming down with something... T.T

Anyway, sorry for the lack of comments and stuff on my part. My weekend was crazy as usual, though I did manage to get on TheO late Saturday night. Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to catch up on the commenting today...er...tonight.

I submitted my other realism piece that I was talking about in my last post. I haven't even been on TheO since getting home from work, so I'm not sure if anyone saw it yet. If you've seen it and left a comment, thank you!! All your comments mean a lot to me and constructive criticism is welcome!! I need to improve!! (Note: Out right flaming will be used to toast marshmellows for L.)

How many of you have seen the Olympics? I've watched a few events, mainly men and women's swimming and the gymnastics. I saw a few minutes of handball, boxing, and field hockey. Oh!! The opening ceremoney was AWESOME!!! I have to say, China seriosly blew my mind away with the program. I mean...everything was well executed and performed. They just kept me on the edge of my seat with my mouth wide open!! I think the icing on the cake was watching the torch being lit. How cool was that? Yes, I'm trying to be vague for those who haven't seen it. Why spoil the fun? Anyway, what countries are you rooting for? I'm cheering for USA and the Philippines!! So far the US as been doing pretty good, not too sure about the Philippines though. I gotta check up on that today.

Well, that's enough for now. It's dinner time!

See ya around!

Woe is me....
Sigh...well, I didn't get Photoshop CS3. They didn't have it at my brother's college bookstore or mine. Apparently, I have to order the program online at my college website, and when I checked it out, I have to be registered for a class that uses it. Poo. My brother's bookstore is easier. They said the program got put on backorder so it's going to be a few weeks before the school even gets it. Sigh... Well, better than nothing I suppose. I could order Photoshop CS3 Suite (which is what I want) online, but it's $300 (not including shipping and handling). If I wait until it reaches my brother's bookstore, then it only costs $200. Because I want to save money, I'll just have to wait. Poo.

L: Patience is a virtue
Me: *throws a shoe at L*

Moving along... OH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for lovely comments on my latest art. You guys are so great!!! *looks at you all with tears in her eyes* I've already done another realism piece. This one is a bit different than my others, mainly because my imagination took over and I completely changed my reference guy. >.< I rather like how it turned out, but I'm not submiting it just yet. There are a few things I need to work on to make it juuuuuust right.

How's everyones week going so far? Me, pretty good. My boss is putting me through some training so I can get certified for different things. That keeps me pretty busy since I'm doing the training and my regular work too. Other than that, nothing much. Just trying to enjoy my last few weeks of freedom until school starts.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I'll see ya around!

I can't even play this piece on the piano, and this guy managed to do it on a pipe organ!! A PIPE ORGAN!!!! The part he's playing with his feet is the part you play with your left hand on the piano. Absolutely amazing.

Oh! My boss sent everyone in the office this email that had some great quotes on it. Not sure who came up with all these, but I really liked it. I'm going to end my posts with one quote (there's several in the email so this is going to last a while).

And just because they don't argue,
it doesn't mean they do love each other.

LOVE THE BACKGROUND!!!
Oh yeah!! So here is my super cool background, courtesy of the wallpaper that Master Driffter did. Ain't it purdy? ^.^ Speaking of which, I am now recruited into her Army of Minions and have been made Captain. *yells at army* Bow down to the Might Driffter, fools!! >.<

Oh yeah, I promised a friend I'd ask around about this. For the new member that join The Otaku after Version Vibrant was set up, can they make a MyO account? No, right? I didn't think they could. I thought MyO accounts were open to those that already had one. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure.

So how was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good. Busy as usual but I did manage to go the movies. I really don't go enough. I think the last movie I saw was....Prince Caspian. How sad is that? Anyway, I went to see Hellboy 2. I really enjoyed it, especially the elf prince. XD It was VERY enjoyable watching him fight and stuff. Hee hee hee... Ahem. Anyway, I want to see Dark Knight, but the idea of sitting in a theater for over two hours doesn't appeal to me. My bladder can only handle so much. So I'm gonna wait until it comes out on dvd. (Sorry Heath)

I MIGHT BE GETTING PHOTOSHOP CS3 TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *bounces off the walls*

My college bookstore might have it in, and today might brother has to go pick up his school books. He promised to buy the software for me if the bookstore had it. If not, he'll order it online, which is a tad more expensive. You see, I bought my brother a laptop last year to use for school. He told me the rebate money was mine (so loving). Well, he hasn't given me the money yet and he still owes me a gift from my birthday (not that I made him get me one, he said he'd buy me something). So I told him I wanted Photoshop CS3. Lucky for him I can get the academic version, which is MUCH cheaper!! Around $300 (online). Regular version is $900. Right now I'm using Photoshop Elements a.k.a. Poor Man's Photoshop. (Eh, it's done me good so far. Can't complain.)

And that's pretty much it for my exciting life. How sad. -_- Lol! See ya around, peeps!!

Yes, another Fahrenheit music video. I just love that Taiwanese boy band (especially Wu Chun). This time they're doing a song with Hebe, who's from the Taiwanese girl band S.H.E. (They're the two bands from the last post.)

[Edit: I typed this whole post out again because my comp showed an error page after I submitted the post. Unbeknownst to me, I didn't know the post went through. So I wasted fifteen minutes typing the whole thing again. T.T Epic retard.]

HICTORIC!!!
>.< Yup, still on that.

Anywho, man, it's been what, a week since I last posted? Why? Because I wanted to get a post box up before I posted anything. And with the help of my dear, sweet, patient Innocent Heart (she rocks, btw), I finally got a post box up!!!! I stayed up past midnight trying to fix it like I wanted. Remember now, I'm a retard when it comes to html so it took me forever!!!! And Angel Zakuro, I have to get on my knees and beg your forgiveness!!! After you emailed me that code, I saved it on one of my folders. Then when I went to go use it, it was GONE!!! T.T I looked and looked for it, but alas, it has disappeared!!! Sniff...

Other than that, nothing much going on. Oh! I am now an official minion of Driffter, who I now refer to as MASTER Driffter!! >.< After seeing her awesome Kira wallpaper, I begged her to do an L one and offered to be her minion if she did so. She agreed. Guess what's going to be my new background for August? XD

Umm...um..um...yeah, I can't think of anything to post. This is just a random thing to try out my new, spiffy post box. Love the blueness!!! And L. You gotta love L.

I bought Soul Calibur 4 for the PS3. Sooo much fun!! Graphics are better, and so is the character creations. The only downside I see so far is the story mode. Soul Calibur 3 had a longer story play than this new one. Then again, I haven't gotten that far into the game. Ah well, I'm still having fun either way.

Momo, my guinea pig who is certainly NOT a female, is a big fatty now. He's huge!! I gotta take another picture of him and compare it to the one I took when I first got him. He's still adorable though. Or maybe I'm just saying that since I'm his mommy. >.<

Ok, enough with the retarded post. Leave a comment, or not. This is just compelte randomness anyway. YAY FOR RANDOMNESHHHHH!!!!

Watch this video. You must. Like, right now!! CLICK THE BUTTON!!!!

I'm off to go visit peoples now. You will hear from me soon!!!

Over and out.

Historic!!
How many of you play Halo3 online? Well, for those that are familiar with it, you all know how people love to trash talk in the lobby, right? Me, I usually ignore those idiots. I think people who do that have no life and friends whatsoever and have some inferiority complex, where they trash talk to make themselve feel good. Yes, I think it's a complete waste of time...and completely rude.

For those of you who've read my posts for while, you also know that I'm not very good at Halo either. I don't own a 360 or the Halo game, so the only time I play is at my friend's house. I don't much practice.

All right, so last night my two friend's, a buddy from Hawaii, and I were playing social lastnight. We teamed up with this team of guys, and we got stuck playing at Valhala (not my favorite place but I do ok). For some reason, it was taking a LONG time for that game to load. Literally, we waited 5-10 minutes. During that time, the other team was doing some serious trash talking. When they heard my friend talking, who is a girl under the age of 15, they started saying some really nasty stuff. (Her ear piece was broken on her headset, so she could talk but could hear what people were saying.) Being the over-protected friend that I am, I was getting very, very mad. If they were trash talking me, I wouldn't have cared (and probably laughed at the stupid stuff they said), but when they were saying stuff about my friend, I was pissed off. Have you ever been so mad, you couldn't think straight? That was me. The stuff they were saying was so mean and nasty, I was seeing red. So I told my friends to take off their headsets and not say a word. I didn't want to egg the guys on, which would make things worse, and I didn't want my poor friends' mind to be tainted.

So when the game started, everyone on my team was mad. The guy from Hawaii left the lobby since he couldn't stand the trash talking either. I don't blame him, we tried doing the same thing. So image us, three against four, with shotty sniper at Valhala. Yeah... And last time I played shotty sniper, I only had three kills. T.T It didn't matter anyway, I was pissed.

Either the other team sucked big time, or my friends and I got skills from being so pissed, because we totally won that game. I actually got a killing spree, which is historic for me. Two guys on the team were decent; they got a good number of kills. One guy on their team ditched in teh middle of the game, and apparently he was the one trash talking the most. Our team got so many headshots, which is really hard for me to do (especially when you and the other person are moving around).

So, three girls beat a team of trash-talking guys.

Needless to say, VICTORY NEVER TASTED SO SWEET!!!! The only thing we could do was laugh at them. They were like, "Yeah, whatever. Shut up." One guy even had the gall to say, "Well, we're never going to Hawaii anyway." I was like, "Good, cuz Hawaii doesn't want you!!" And what makes it even better is that they were older guys too, not some tweenies trying to act tough.

Wow. I didn't mean to write all this. >.< For those of you who aren't familiar with Halo, I apologize. You probably didn't catch any of it, but I really needed to post this.

So, that game was historic for my friends and I. Every few minutes I cry, "HISTORIC!!" and my family gives me weird looks. ^.^ But I don't care.

HISTORIC!!!!

Lol! See ya around!

Thank you all who offered to help me out with html coding. Innocent Heart and Angel Zakuro, could you send me those codes that you mentioned earlier? I know those will help me out a lot, and thanks for offering them to me! Erzengel Weiss, thanks for letting me know about that site. It's very helpful!

Has anyone had any problems on TheO these passed couple of days? For some reason, I have a hard time getting on, like it takes forever for my screen to load. My internet works fine on other pages, but it slows way down when I get on TheO. Then the comment boxes don't upload all the time, and my internet has frozen a couple of times. I've been trying to keep up with comments and stuff, but it's hard when I can't navigate around the site properly.

Oh! One more question. For those that are familiar with Aethereality.net, how do you download PS brushes? I found one I wanted to use, but I couldn't figure out how to download them. I also noticed that site offers layouts, but I want to make one on my own. Well, I'm going to use the codes you all give me and play around with them, designing the layout to my tastes.

Driffter, if you're reading this, here's a video from BOND. This song is one of my favorites that they do.

I want to learn html too!!
It's true. I even went through the tutorial that Adam has here. Ya see, I want to make my own layout for MyO site. I don't know how it'll turn out though... I think I need to practice some on the tutorial before I completely butcher my site. Any suggestions? Like, I want to make a post box so it's easier to read my post (cuz even I have a hard time reading the text), but I don't want it too big so you can see the background. Ya know, stuff like that. I see some amazing layouts on MyO and I think, "I wants to do that too!!"

Anyway, sorry for not commenting much this weekend. I tried to get some in, but my computer died for a couple days and then I was really busy. Ya see, I have this contract to clean a couple preschools. So every week night I'm cleaning and on Saturdays I go to another town and clean a clubhouse (for the same preschool organization). So yeah, not only do I work at an insurance office (part time), but I do janitorial duties every night and weekend. That's why I am NOT looking foward to school starting again. My busy schedule will become hectic!

Oh! I tried out the chat feature and it's awesome!! I had so much fun just saying random stuff and to be honest, it got pretty wild in the chatroom I was in. Still, it was so fun! I'm glad Adam and the team put in that new feature.

Well, that's pretty much it for now. I'll see ya all around TheO!

Question time:
1. How did you come up with your user name?
2. Did you see the new Batman movie?
3. Does anyone have a wallpaper request?

My answers:
1. It all started with Halo. My friend made it up for me since he says I'm so skinny, like a stick. How flattering.
2. No, though I want to with all the good reviews I'm hearing.
3. Yeah, I ran out of ideas/motivation for another wallpaper. Please just one request each, I don't want to take too long in getting them done! Just tell me what anime/manga you want and/or a specific character you want.

She posts again!!
Gah...me and my idiot titles

Anyway, just finished watching two more episodes of Hana Kimi, wich prompted me to look up more info on Fahrenheit. It's hard to find stuff on them, though Wikipedia offered most of the info, and ya know how Wikipedia isn't the most reliable of sources. Anyway, most of their info came from Chinese sites. Now I have a question: Is there a software program that translates Chinese (or any foreign language) into English so you can read the translation on the internet? And if anyone is looking at me like I've grown two heads, remember that I'm a retard when it comes to technology. (So sad, but true.) I thought it would be nice to visit the foreign sites and actually understand what's going on. >.<

Anyway, thanks to all who've commented on my latest art entry. Golly, you all are too much. It didn't seem very musicy (Foxerz, if you're reading this, I can make up my own words too)...

Lol! Sparkle-chan, the website I went to is mysoju.com!! >.< Guess I should have named the site, ne? Forgive my knuckleheadedness (phew, that's a mouth full)!! Anyway, that place rocks. I was surprised at how many dramas they had listed, and movies too! So all the Death Note movies are on that site, for anyone who is interested. The quality is like youtube videos, and the movies are broken up into (roughly) 10 minute increments. I can't complain though; it's free. ^.^ Anyway, if you've seen Hana Kimi (the drama) and really liked it, go see the Taiwanese version!! It's so funny!

Somebody asked what I'm going to school for (I think it was you, Meagan). My major is Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. I just graduated from college this spring and got my AS in accounting, so I've transfered to a university for fall (that's why I'm on summer break). Hopefully I'll get my bachelors in two years! Not looking forward to harder classes, but I'm just thankful to nearly be done with school! As for my job, I'd like to be an accountant for a small business. There are a lot of small businesses here, so I don't think I'll have a problem finding a job.

Other events and occurances: traffic. On the way home from piano lessons, I got stuck in a major traffice jam on the freeway (a dump truck overturned, blocking two lanes....there's only three lanes on that freeway). It took me an hour just to go one mile. T.T It wasn't too bad though. My brother was riding with me, and when the two of us get together, madness and insanity insue!! We cranked up my radio and sang (offkey + windows rolled down = the best way to sing). Then we laughed and cracked jokes at the dumbest and most random things ever. Heh heh...we drew lots of stares from people, but it helped pass the time. ^.^

Nyah, I gotta go. It's nearly 1:00am. Sleep well everyone (and if it's in the middle of the day for you, go take a nap)!!

Caffeine Addict
I seriously am. I didn't have my usualy cup of coffee this morning, and I couldn't stay away to save my life. I kept dosing off. So I caved in and made my own cup of coffee (drank two cups just for good measure). My mom is freaking out, saying I need to go to the doctor. Her reasoning is that the doctor told her not to drink coffee so I should do the same. Thing is, she has a heart condition so of course she can't have any caffeine! >.< My mom is so funny sometimes. So, I'm all buzzed now and feeling just fine. How long have I been having my daily cup of joe? Hmm...since I was 13 I think. I've actually been drinking coffee since I was a kid, but I didn't start drinking it daily until junior high. Now I'm 20 and in college. Heh heh heh... Anyways, I told my mom being addicted to caffeine is better than being addicted to alcohol or drugs!!

As for my weekend, it was busy. Cleaning, working, piano lessons, no art. Wait, I did get some drawing done on Saturday but it was only for a few minutes. T.T At this rate, I'll never finish my contest entry. I'm also doing a surprise gift for somebody. In a way, I feel like I'm running out of time since school is going to start in August. I know once school starts, my life as I know it is over and you all won't hear from me that often. I'll be a junior this year, so my classes are getting harder. T.T I can't wait until school is finished!!!!

Oh!! My friend showed me this sight that puts up Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese dramas and movies!!! I was so excited! I watched Death Note: L Change the World lastnight!! I've been wanting to see the Death Note movies so bad! I was very happy, to say in the least. I'm going to watch the other movies later. I also saw the first episode of Hana Kimi, the Taiwanese version. It one of my favorite guys, Jiro Wang, from the boy band Fahrenheit!!! >.< I heart him. Heh, I was so fangirling lastnight, so much so that my dad told me to be quiet!

So yeah, that's about it. I'm off to work today, as usual. I'm surprised I got a post in today. I usually do posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Oh!!! THANK YOU everyone for the advice on how to report perverts. I gave my friend all the info. I don't think that guy will send her any more gross pm's but at least now we know what to do in case someone else does.

Warning: Hot Jiro Wang in this video. I will not be responsible for any nose bleeds, fainting spells, or temporary loss of sanity. >.< No seriously, this is just a slide show starring Jiro Wang. Sorry, but I couldn't help it.
