Hello, my fellow Otakuians...Otakuans...Otakunese? Ha ha! What do we call ourselves?? >.<

Yup, as you can see, I decided to change up my theme a bit. Thanks to the one and only Sparkle-chan, I got my site to looking spiffy. Ok, so for those who are really good at doing layouts, you're probably thinking this looks really basic, but I like it!! Sniff...besides, it was the best I could do for now. -__-

[You know, the other day I had a whole bunch of things to post about, but now I can't remember what they were! -__- I'm getting old...]

Oh! Thanks so much on all your comments on my sketches! I really appreciated them. ^.^ *hands cookies out to everyone* I haven't done any more sketches since. It seems all my creativity went into those sketches, and now I'm artistically dead...or recovering. Who knows?

Let's see...oh, what do you think about that new worlds feature on TheO? I think it's alright, having my worlds ranked and all. It does seem kind of intimidating though. I mean, now I feel pressured to use my worlds (though I highly doubt that was the reason for ranking the worlds). So I've decided to do what several you you do: put my posts on here and on TheO. I figure my poor world has collected enough dust. I did find it hilarious that my fanfiction world got more views and hits than my regular world. I've only posted two short stories (SEVERAL months ago) and that's it!! So I decided to pull out some more old stories and fix them up. >.<

Hey, does anyone play the violin? I'm thinking about learning how to play the violin, though I'm going to start off by teaching myself the basics. I've found some good sites and videos on youtube, so I figure I'd start off with those. My brother took one year of violin lessons years ago and hasn't picked up the instrument since. So I decided to learn how to play instead of letting the poor violin rot away!! >.<

Well, I'm off to finish some commenting. For those that go on TheO as well, I'm gonna put this post on my world as well, so no need comment on there as well (unless you really want to). ^.^

Have a great week, everyone!

I like this song, and I think the dude who did this is awesome (just one guy playing all the parts). ^.^

And A Good Day To You
Hello all. And how are you this fine rainy day? [At least it's rainy for me, not sure about where you are.]

I am doing rather well. School has been ok, and I'm finally able to catch up on my work. I did bungle in my class yesterday though. For accounting, my teacher doesn't take up the homework after every chapter, even though she assigns it. She's only take six assignments, and had already taken up two, so I figured for this last chapter we covered, she wouldn't bother. So, being the idiot that I am, did my homework but didn't bother to bring it to class. Why waste nearly ten pages of paper (did it on the computer) when she's not even going to college homework, right? -___- Yes, of course, the one day I don't bring my homework is the one day she asks for it. Sigh.... There goes ten points...and we can only have a total of 50 points for homework. Ew... I don't feel so bad though, since she's giving us some extra problems for "bonus points". I think what it was is too many people didn't do there homework (my whole section of the class actually) so to make up for it she's giving us some credit. So in the end, it worked out!! >.<

Let's see...what else... Oh! Friday night, my mom chased away some thieves. It was hilarious actually! It was about 11:30 pm, and my mom stays up really late (like 2-3 am) since it helps her to sleep. Anyways, so she hears our chain fence banging outside and then hears a loud thump. So she opened the window to see what was going on, and two idiots on bicycles were stealing our orchids!! Can you imagine how ghetto that is!! >.< So anyway, she yelled, "EH! WHAT YOU DOING OUT TEHRE?!!!" Boy, those guys took off!! So she got me and my brother to look around the house and stuff to make sure everything was alright, which it was. I just find it very ... ghetto that someone wanted to steal some cheap flowers (we leave our cheap ones in the yard and the expensive once on our back porch). How hard up for money can you be?? >.< Just another day in my crazy neighborhood...

Um...art wise... I haven't been doing anything. Well, I take that back. I've been sketching stuff in class (I still pay attention in clas...honest!!), but no wallpapers or anything. I'm thinking about scanning some of my sketches and putting them up here, just to prove I'm not dead (artistically speaking). ^.^

So yeah, that's just about it for me. I won't be able to comment and stuff today since I gotta get ready for work, so I'll try either later tonight or tomorrow.

Oh! And thanks for all the comments last time! They really made me smile and laugh. You guys rock! As for my test, I didn't fail it!! [Barely] My teacher gave the test back to us to correct and try to figure out what we got wrong. If we correct it properly, he'll give us half credit. My teacher is awesome. ^.^

Here's a video of the Merrie Monarch hula copetition from last year. I usually try to watch it every year, but I missed it this year. Anyways, here's one of some guys performing. Tee hee...I think some of you may be in a culture shock when you see it! >.<

   Heh heh heh...heh...

*gulp*

Ok!! I'M SORRY FOR NOT BEING HERE IN SUCH A LONG TIME!!!!!!!! I really needed a break to focus on school. I haven't been working on my school work like I usually do, and I scared myself into working fervently again. Yeah, I think I failed my statistics exam (which I find out tonight), so not only am I really mad at myself, but I realized how lazy I've been lately. *sigh* I knew procrastination was evil...

So, um, yeah, to get caught up on things, I'm all good. My parents made it back safely from Boston (can't remember if I said that or not). I've been working a lot, like usual. I think the big thing right now though is our poor economy. I don't know about you all, but Hawaii is in a tough situation being so far from the mainland. ALL our products are shipped in, and with prices rising and companies going out of business, more and more people are loosing their jobs or can't afford things here anymore. It's really bad. So my family and I have been taking precautions and storing up on supplies. Extra medicines, storable foods, cleaning supplies, etc. Who knows how long they'll be available here.

But let's move off from such depressing matters. How are you all? I've been so out of touch lately that I have no clue what's going on around here. Sorry!! Anything exciting happening?

Well, I'm off to go visit sites on MyO. I won't be able to manage TheO since I've got lots of homework to do, but at least a little bit of commenting is better than nothing. >.<

Have a great week, everyone, and thanks for stopping by and visiting. You all are great!!! *massive hug to everyone*

Lol! Cuz Tamaki is just that dumb. He even has his own theme song!! >.< [I think you'll like this one Sparkle-chan!]

-____-
I've been MIA this past weekend due to a whole heap of work. My parents have been gone these past few days, so the contracting jobs they do my brother and I have had to do, plus the jobs we already do. (I'm a subcontractor for janitorial duties, remember?) So yeah, my Saturday was spent cleaning, teaching piano lessons, cleaning the house, and cooking a big lunch for Sunday. Tire doesn't even begin to describe it. Now today I've got homework to finish (since it is due today) and a test to study for. -___-

So yeah, I'll get around to visiting people either tonight or tomorrow...probably tomorrow.

Oh! Thanks for all the comments last post. About my friends who are living, we are keeping in touch with them through emails, phone calls, and texts. I love current technology!! ^.^

Let's see...other than being insanely busy, nothing much has been going on. Just lots of rain (which I absolutely love) and for some odd reason, I'm going through a LOTR fetish. I'm listening to some of the music as I type this. It's so relaxing and helps me focus on my school work. Cognitive stimulation, I suppose.

Well, everyone have a great week. I'll see ya around!

Couldn't help it. I like this song. ^.^

Hello everyone! Do I ever thank you all for stopping by and taking the time to comment? *thinks for a bit* I haven't in a while, have I? -_- Sorry!! *ahem* THANK YOU for reading my boring posts and taking the time to leave a comment!! I appreciate it! Also, I apologize for not commenting much on the weekend. I had a good reason!

Well, other than my week going by too slow and nothing exciting happening, Saturday we had a going away party to our military friends. They're assignment is over here so now they're moving off to go serve in another state for three years. Sniff... One left yesterday, two are leaving at the end of the month... WAAAHHH!! So yeah, it was kind of sad this weekend. Even though the party was lots of fun, it was sad knowing my good friends (really, they're like brothers to me) were leaving.

So yeah, I helped my mom with some cooking. Hey!! I can cook ya know, I just don't it very often! So we made pork shish-ka-bobs and grilled them outside...ghetto style!! >.< My brother set up this short metal barrell and heated up some charcoal inside. Then we put a grill cover over it and cooked the pork sticks!! We ended up eating a lot of what we cooked, but there were so many that you couldn't tell.... Then we took marshmellows and roasted marshellows when the meat was finished. Ugh... and that was BEFORE the party started! I was so full! So I ate more food!! Ha ha ha!!

Then it rained all day yesterday, which I absolutely loved!

Btw, if anyone is an Ikuta Toma fan, could you let me know? [Sparkle-chan and Chibilala, you don't count since I already know] Send me a pm.

[I was going to put up a small picture of the amazing wallpaper Sparkle-chan made for me, but my internet connection is being retarded and I can't. T.T]

Alrighty then, everyone have a good week. I'll see ya around! ^.^

Procrastination is EVIL!!!!
Why? Why must I procrastinate?? It'll be the death of me this semester, I just know it. T.T So yeah, I've been putting off my homework all week and weekend, and low and behold, it's all due today!! It's a good thing I don't go to class until this afternoon. So bad... This post can't be long and I can't comment on any more sites (Sparkle-chan, I'll answer your pm tonight). My homework has just been put on my TOP PRIORITY list.

It also seems I've been reduced to posting on Mondays. With school going on, my life is not interesting. Nothing fun happens. Boo...

I did go to see the Honolulu symphony again yesterday. After standing in front of a door for an hour, smiling like an idiot, and passing out hundreds of programs, I got to sit back and listen to the symphony play a J. Brahms piece, symphony no. 3 in E, op. 90. They did well enough, but I was kinda bored. I wanted to see the star pianist, but he was after intermission. Now, for those who like classical music, I recommend listen to Adre Watts play. He is phenominal!! I absolutely loved his playing!!! Lastnight he was getting so into the music that he was stomping!! Ha ha! So yeah, after he played a Brahms piano concerto (no. 2 in B-flat, op 83), he got a standing ovation by everyone. Even the orchestra stood for him. ^.^

And that's pretty much it for my weekend. Everyone have a good week, don't procrastinate in homework like me, and I'll try to comment when I can.

About the only time I watch Adulst Swim is on Saturday nights to check out their anime. My current anime: Serirei no Moribito (comes on right after Code Geass). I really like this anime so far, and I recommend it. ^.^

Hoorah for Holidays!
For those of you who get Labor Day off, YAY!! I don't know about you all, but I'm enjoying not going to school or work! I've been working on some homework though, but since it's not due until next week, I'm pretty much taking my time. One problem here, one problem there. Mini procrastination? >.<

Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, busy as usual. I did go to the movies on Saturday to see Babylon A.D. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty good movie. I think they pootered out in the end though, so the ending sucked in my opinion. I think they built up too much suspense during the movie, so after the climax I expected a better ending. I won't go into details to spare those who haven't seen the movie.

Oh! About the Zelda video in my last post, thanks for pointing out it was a fake. Too bad. I thought it was pretty interesting! For a joke trailer, I think they did a good job. I have to agree with Elves though. If they're really going to make a movie from that game, they need to pick better looking actors (especially for Link!). >.<

As I promised Sparkle-chan, I took some picture of me with my new L tshirt! I took these the other night when my mom rangled me up to bake a carrot cake. If I have to cook, I want others to suffer with me so I got my brother to help me! >.< We actually took a few pictures of us being really retarded (more like my brother goofing off), but I'd rather you not see those. I want to spare the embarrassment.

Picture 2
Picture 3
Picture 4

Ha ha! My mom is so short! >.<

I'm off to finish commenting. See ya around!

I apologize for not commenting...like, at all these past few days!! My weekend was busy as usual and then school ate up my whole day yesterday. Sigh...well, I figure once I get to the routine, I should figure out when I can comment and stuff. I'm going to try to wake up early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays so I can comment before I head off to work. "Try" being the key word. So, if ya really want to keep in touch with me, just pm me. I'm better ate answering those than I am commenting. >.<

Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? How's your week so far?

My week is going pretty good, despite starting school. All my teachers seem nice enough and I think I'll enjoy these classes. Yes, even Statistics. >.< After reviewing the syllabus with Mr. Pai, my statistics professor, I found out he's pretty down to earth and realistic. And he's funny too, so that helps. Oh! But my teacher for my writing class really surprised me. When I first saw him, I thought "punk rocker." No joke. Black tshirt with black short and matching black shoes. Large black earrings in his ears. The only thing he was missing was the funky colored hair, but he's bald so that's a no go. >.< He's nice though, so I can't knock his style. I guess I'm just used to a lot of business classes where all my professors wear office outfits.

Thank you everyone on letting me know how to put more stuff in my intro. Ha ha!! So I can trick the system by just pasting all the stuff in there. I'll try to get it done sometime this week. Maybe. -_-

All right, enough with the boring post. I'm gonna go visit people here on MyO before heading off to work. Oh, which reminds me, I'm also much better ate commenting on MyO than TheO. Mainly for this: when someone updates here, I can see their name highlighted in my backroom. Since I can see my whole friends list at once, it's really easy to see who updated. On The O, it's different. People's updates get shoved out of my backroom and I miss people. It's really time consuming to visit everyone on my friends list on TheO....because there's over a 100 names on there. T.T So yeah, pm's and MyO are the way to go for me.

See ya around! ^.^

OMG!! Did anyone know they were making this movie? I was so shocked when I saw it. I mean, I'm a fan of this game, but do you really think the movie will be all that good?

I couldn't end the post without putting up another Death Note rant. >.<

Last Day of Freedom
Waaaaaahhhhh!! As the title suggests, this is my last day of freedom. T.T School starts on Monday...sniff. Well, I know it's not going to be that bad. I know at least one person who is going to be in one of my classes. I'll just have to make friends for my other classes. OH, and I joined a study group for my Statistics class. Ugh...I don't like math (and I'm an accountant, how ironic is that?), so I lept upon the opportunity.
As for my schedule, it's so weird. My first class is English from 9:30-10:45am. Then I have Intermediate Managerial Accounting from 3:30-4:45pm. Finally I have Statistics from 8:00-9:45pm. I really not looking forward to that night class, but it was the only one available and I need that class. So, instead of staying at my school ALL DAY I'm going to burn gas money and travel back and forth from school and home.
All in all, I should still be able to get on The O to comment and stuff. No guarantees though.

In other boring news, I went shopping yesterday for school clothes. Ew...shopping. The only good thing that came of it was that I got an L t-shirt from Hot Topic!!! ^.^ So yes, my love for L has not died! My mom thought I was crazy, especially since it was $22. I just finished shopping at Steve&Berrys where t-shirts cost only $9.99, so the Death Note tshirt did seem pricey. To be honest, if L wasn't on there, I wouldn't have bought it. <-- Stixx is cheap >.<

I've also started on the manga series Ouran Highschool Host Club!!! That series is SOOOO funny!!! I'm totally in love with Mori and Hunny!!! For those of you who've read it, you know what I mean. For those of you who haven't, I highly recommend you start that manga. You are guaranteed to laugh at Tamaki's stupidity and Haruhi's blunt personality. ^.^ Anyway, I blame Sparkle-chan for getting me hooked. Really, since I bought all seven volumes in two days. >.< *looks at very empty wallet* I need to pull some overtime at work. T.T

Um...let's see... Oh, my site hasn't changed much. Sorry. I wanted to put a post box up at the top (so I can put my intro), but I ran out of room. So I had to leave the playlist there instead. Does anyone konw how I can fit more stuff up at the top?

All right, enough with this post. I gotta leave comments before heading off to work.

Hui tou jian (See ya later!)

As promised, here's the next video in response to Raito's Rant. ^.^

So what do you think of my new look? >.< I'm rather proud of how my site looks so far. The wallpaper and icon links I made myself, and I used some html codes that Innocent Heart and Sparkle-chan sent me. ^.^ Btw, thanks you two for helping me!! I really appreciate it!! So anyway, as the pop up window says, I'm still not done with my new look. There's some more stuff I want to put in, but I'll have to do that later, maybe tonight when I get home from work.

Oh! Thanks for all the comments on my wallpapers. I kinda felt bad for bombarding you all with so many wallpapers, but I wanted to get them submitted since they were requests. I've still got a few more to work on, so you should see more later this week.

Sorry that this post is kinda short (or maybe you're gratefule >.<) I gotta get ready for work in...three minutes? >.< It seems everyone in on my friend's list decided to post yesterday today so I'm rushing to visit everyone!! If I haven't left a comment, I'll be sure to leave on tonight when I get home. Bah...and I haven't even been on TheO today.

Well, see ya'll around!

SilentReaper is an amazing artist on Deviantart, and someone put together a youtube video on some of her Death Note comics. There are a couple more to follow this one. You may have already seen this, but it's still funny!! >.<
