Hagaren The Movie - aka - Fullmetal Alchmist
'ollow people. I'm sorry to say I might have to put Battle of the Bieshes on hold for a little while. I just have too much going on but I will have it. Most likely after january because then I will have all the profiles up and everything and maybe a website. Finals and the xmas play will also be over so I will have more time on my hands. I may also have a contest for the members on hottest Bishe theme or something. I don't know.

Oh! And also make sure you check out Hagaren-movie.jp The offical Japanese site for The FullMetal Alchmist The Movie. The site is in japanese but all the navagation is english friendly so it's easy to find pictures and cool downloads and what not. Still, its one of the coolest sites I have ever seen. Make sure you watch the FMA Trailer! Enjoy!

   BATTLE OF THE BISHIES NOMINEES!
It’s that time again. Time for the second annual BATTLE OF THE BISHIES!!!

This time, instead of me picking out all of the bishies myself (since I missed a lot last time) I’m going to pick out the most popular for the battle and let you all nominate the ones that I forgot about. However, if they where in last year’s battle, I may not put them in.

The winner of this year’s Battle of the Bishies will go up against last year’s reigning champion Yami Bakura. This is going to be good. XD

Anyways, here is the current list. Names marked with a star (*) are ones that I am thinking about but will only put in if nominated.

  • Yami no Bakura (Yugioh): Last Year’s Champion
  • Marik Istar (Yugioh): Second Place Winner
  • Dark Mousy (D*N*Angel)
  • Krad (D*N*Angel)
  • Genjo Sanzo (Saiyuki)
  • Sha Gojyo (Saiyuki)
  • Cho Hakkai (Saiyuki)
  • Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi)
  • Edward Elric (FullMetal Alchemist)
  • Ryou Bakura (Yugioh)
  • Daisuke Niwa (D*N*Angel)
  • Satoshi Hikari (D*N*Angel)
  • Hamura Kenshin (Roruni Kenshin)
  • Miroku (Inu-Yasha)
  • *Mahado (Yugioh)
  • Priest Seth (Yugiho)
  • *Ryouho (s-CRY-ed)

Those are the current contestants. Now post me some nominees!

Answer to my little Japanese Riddle.
Hehehe, no one even got close to guessing my riddle. So now, I’m going to give you all a little Japanese lesson.

Ok, let’s take a look at this sentence and pull it apart.

Kochira wa dochira no Korado-san desu ka?

Ahoron-san desu.

First off, “Kochira” means this as in referring to a person. If I was talking about an object then I would have just used “kore” but since it isn’t polite to think as people as things in Japanese we use “kochira”. The “wa” that comes right after it is used almost like “the” or “is”. Next we have “dochira” which means “who” and is referring to a person. The following “no” has the same translation as English “of” but is used commonly in Japanese to show possession (as in the case Yami no Bakura which literally translates to Darkness of Bakura). So in the case of this sentence, it says “Dochira no Korado-san” which means in basic English translation that “Korado-san belongs to Who”. Since the sentence ends in “ka” we know it’s a question. Because Japanese is backwards unlike English we have to change a few things around when we transelate it because “this” is at the beginning of the sentence. When we are done this is what we have:

Who does this Korado-san belong to?

Now, but who is Korado-san you might ask? Let’s take a look at the name.

In the Japanese writing of the sentence that I put up yesterday, you might have noticed that the name “Korado” was written in Katakana. Katakana is only used when writing foreign names in Japanese. So now we know that “Korado” is not a Japanese name. And since it isn’t so, this means that it’s English version sounds very close to the name written in Katakana except that some extra letters had to be added because all Japanese letters have to end in a vowel. Here is what we come up with:

“Korado” sounds strikingly like D*N*Angels “Krad” now doesn’t it?

”K” must be must be made into “Ko” because it doesn’t have a vowel after it; “ra” is fine because it has a contestant and a vowel; “d” must come “do”.

Also, if you have watched the Japanese Version of DNA you will notices that they say Korado and Daraku instead of Krad and Dark because they can’t pronounce it that way. It’s an English thing.

Anyways, now for the last part. We have our question and now for our answer. Because we can omit the thing or person we are talking about, we can just say a name in response. So the end resulted is this:

Who does this Krad-san belong to?

(Krad-san belongs to) Ahlon-san.

I hope you like my little riddle Ahlon. ^_^

Final Verdict.
‘ello people. I’m back from my trip. I actually came back Sunday night but I haven’t had time to post since then. I had a good time, but things could have gone better at the hospital. I had a new doctor this time so they did the whole treatment from x-rays to the echo. Anyways, unlike the past several years where everything was just normal and not much to worry about, it turns out that things have finally started to worsen this year. They say that the aorta valve is starting to desecrate because of the tore it got in the 2000 surgery. On a scale from 1 to 4 on leakage, it’s a 3 now and they say it can’t get any worse. They said they want to see me back in July instead of waiting a whole other year. They said they are going to be looking at open heart surgery before I’m 18. The first option is to try and sew up the tear and if they can do that, then I will be off all medications and everything. It will be just about fixed from there. I guesses that’s why I’m really not depressed about it but more excited about it in a way. Having this problem really never bothered me before, but recently, I have been resenting this weakness. I have always been the weaker one of everyone. People have had to watch out for me and make sure I don’t get to tired. I could never take dance or any kind of stuff like that before because I could never do it. I can’t even swim very well because of it. The idea of that all changing and me having my strength handed to me on a silver platter appeals to me. Maybe also now because everyone has to do something about this. There is no more waiting. It has to be done and fixed. That’s why I’m not really bothered by it all. :)

What this is all about.
Ok, I know some of you have been wonder what the “medical leave” I mentioned earlier once. Well, to put a long story short (because I have Japanese class soon) I was born two months early so the aorta valve in my heart was smaller then it was suppose to be. Even though I’m doing fine right now after a balloon operation in 2000 (were they take a balloon and try to make the valve a little bigger) I still have to travel back to the hospital each year for a check up. I have been alright for several years now, but I’m still a nervous wreck when I go. I would just hate it if they found something wrong. Plus I have a new doctor this year and that’s not helping. My mom also deiced to turn it all into a family vacation. What joy. She did the same thing when I had major heart surgery too. I wish she wouldn’t do that but I guess it’s for the best.

I might not be able to get to anyone’s sites today or tomorrow because I have to pack today, study for a test tomorrow and work at the drama club. It sucks. I will be gone from Thursday to Sunday so I will see you all Monday. I will make sure to tell you all how it when. Later.

   Echk.
Eh...well, this morning hasn't turned out so well. I fell on the stares, my dad got mad at me for making too much noice and then I fell on the gate because the dog jumped on me and he got mad again. *sigh* Then I found it pretty funning when Daffpower posted the video on what happens when Final Fantasy meets Michel Jackson and said it will brighten up someones bad day. Hopefully, It did a little bit. I just had to save it. XD

Anyways, it appears that MyO is back up again. If you didn't visit yesterday, please go read yeserday's post if you will. Thank you.

It's a Dead Man's Party. Who could ask for more. Everyone's coming, leave your bodies at the door.
Hello People! My Halloween theme is finally finished. Whoo. I have been so busy this week. I have written up all kinds of post but never got around to posting them. Well, at least today I’m bored and have nothing to do. (I’m still wondering it that’s a good thing.)

I love this theme! It is just too cool. Like I said in my intro, I was going to have the Beetle Juice midi because I couldn’t think if anything better until I found “Dead Man’s Party.” It all turned out so beautiful and I think the song adds a little humor. I just can’t help imagining the Grim Reaper all decked out and ready to hit the town with a body over his shoulder but he has no place to go. Lol. Anyways, I will try to get to everyone’s sites today but for some reason MyO has had a little problem loading. I guess it’s because everyone’s all on line at once. Who knows?

Also, from Thursday to Sunday, I won’t be here. I’m going away on a trip for medical leave. I’ll tell you all about that later. Hopefully it won’t be too bad since my mom is making our trip into a little vacation. (Still, I am wondering if that’s a good thing.)
