“Life does not consist mainly, or even largely, of facts and happenings. It consists mainly of the storm of thought that is forever flowing through one's head.”

Once again it's been a long time since I last posted and there's a lot I need to catch up on.
Where to begin...

Well, if you're a friend of ShadowsCastByDusk, you'll know that she and I went on a writer's get away at this college up north. It was awesome. The town was located in a valley and the houses there were beautifully architectured. They used to belong to coal barons and alot of them where covered in ivy.
Shadows-chan and I got some work done on a novel we're writing together. Not as much as I'd hoped though, but all well, least we have a better idea of what we're writing now.
We also had dinner at a Japanese restaurant several times. And what do you know, it's haunted, by a ghost named Taquichi (am I spelling that right Naia?). He kept moving my miso soup bowl around. Shadows-chan says that he must have been killed in a brawl in that same restaurant...many years ago...over spilt miso XD

Anyway,
On a lot less pleasant note, I just got my wisedom teeth removed. NEVER LET THEM DO IT TO YOU. It is horrible!!
Yesterday I was spitting out blood all morning and now I can't even open my jaw all the way. T_T
I could gripe more but I think this post is already long enough, >.<'

I hope you guys are having a better time then I am.

Oh and one last thing. Do you guys like my new theme?

Been going to dance camp at our local arts center. The teachers there are really good and some of my friends are taking it too, so I'm a good time, save from the bruised knees and the soreness in my general bodily area that is.
Anyway,
Some people would say I'm not the dancing type, and I guess I'm not, but there's something about dance. I mean, drawing and writing are all well and good and I love them, but dance is different. Instead of just creating art, you become art. Is that cool or what? XD
I think my favorite class is modern because there's less structure and I can move the way I want. Also, the music is just so darn awesome. Today, we were listening to this weirdly awesome zen, retro, remix music by a band I forgot the name of...whoops.

But enough of that...FEAST YOUR EYES!!!

“Remember that happiness is a way of travel -- not a destination”
My dance school just helds its annual spring performance: Charlotte's Web. And guess who was Charlotte? Yep, me. The show went extremely well. Afterwards, alot of people came up to me with compliments. I usually avoid the spotlight when I can; but this time, it was nice. ^__^

Also, I just started my summer job at the local coffee house. I worked there last summer so everythings pretty familiar and the people I work for are really nice. Mwhahaha, I'm hording all my tips. >:D

So that's pretty much all the big happenings so far. This post is kind of boring so I guess I'll throw in a pretty picture or something. ¬_¬

“One reason why I don't drink is because I wish to know when I am having a good time.” ~Nancy Witcher Astor
Last night was interesting to say the least.

It began at a local community fund-raiser. I was a volunteer, though that word isn't really accurate. I have to do "community service" for my school or they won't let me graduate and they'll put me on the "dirtbag list" as my math teacher refers to it...he's kind of weird...
Anyway, back to the party. It was kind of boring at first: disco music, REALLY bad dancing, volunteer-off-limits-food.
But then golf carts were added to the mix.
Mwahhahahahha.
Yeah, I don't have my permit, but that's okay!
It was my friends' and I's job to drive the guests back to the parking lot which was a ways away. Let's just say I rediscovered my dream of being a race car driver. Heheh.
So, that was fun until our golf cart BROKE!! I don't know what happened but it wouldn't go forward! I had to drive IN REVERSE ALL THE WAY BACK!!! It didn't have tail lights either. I dare say I've proved my worth as a golf cart driver.
Then when I finally got it back some drunk guy commandeered it and almost RAN SOME PEOPLE OVER!!!!
What a dumbass. ¬_¬
It wasn't so fun after that because practically EVERYBODY I drove was wasted and they were HORRIBLE SINGERS too.
I started getting really annoyed after awhile so I took the golf cart off the road across the lawn to the parking lot and tried to go as fast as I could. It was really bumpy but they ended up enjoying it anyway, which kind of ruined it for me.

I'll never understand why people willingly make fools out of themselves.
I swear to God I'll never drink.

And You Thought It Would Never Happen
I suppose I have to post sometime so here it is:

If you're friends with ShadowsCastByDusk than you already know that we went to NYC on a class trip. It was really fun even though I got practically no sleep (bed late, up early). Some of the places we went to include The Top of the Rock, the Carnegie Deli, the Radio City Music Hall, and Battery Park. We also saw The Blue Man Group and The Lion King, which by the way were AWESOME!!!!
The only draw back to the trip was that I had to go with my classmates who basically complained the whole time and spent all of our free time at the stupid knock-off purse venders. That was really annoying. Culture is lost on them.
On the brightside, ShadowsCastByDusk and I did find this really, really, REALLY cool Japanese bookstore. It had practically every manga and anime ever made and a lot of other really neat Japanese merchandise. We also got these beautiful Chinese prints in Battery Park.
Despite the time wasted at the fake Chanel vendors the trip was totally worth it. I love going to cities but I know I could never live in one. I value fresh air, quiet, and my personal space to much. XD

Also the other night I went with my dance teacher and a few other of her students to Sleeping Beauty, the ballet. I liked it alot. There was a rumour that the Queen (of England) had attended one a previous night O.o

Anyway,
Those were all the hightlights of this past month.
Sorry the post was so long =_='

But of course not really, heehee. That's a quote from one of my favorite webcomics I C DED PPL. There's a link on the bottom of the page if your interested.

Anyway,
I went to the doctor today after suffering through three weeks of prolonged cold symptoms. As it turns out, I have bronchitis (sp?) and infections it both my ears. Faaaaaaantastic! They gave me a crap load of medicines to take too, including antibiotics and an inhaler, won't have to use the latter for long though. Well, two weeks.
So that is the exciting outlook of my weekend, recovering, make-up work, and bad television.
I hope you guys fare better ¬_¬'

Serial Experiment Lain?
I think I'm going to change my site theme to Serial Experiment Lain. I like the one I have now but I've had it for over a year so, yeah, I think a change is in order.
I've never actually seen Lain but wallpapers and images I've seen are really neat. I love how Lain pulls of the creepy look without appearing cheezy.

What do you guys think?

GERMANY!!!
HA-HAH!
Finally, after years of waiting!
I'M GOING TO EUROPE BABY!!!
...ahem*
You'll have to excuse me, I've been working on a term paper literally all weekend and I'm more than a little less sane.
BUT
There's 95% chance that I'm going to be celebrating my sweet 16 in Germany this year. When it comes to heritage, I'm pretty much from all over, but I do have family in Germany.
This is SO awesome.

I have a learn German pc program which I'm going to be working on this summer. I've actually had it for a couple of years but whatever. I'm a professional procrastinator! XD

Well, back to my term paper.
