   Away For the Weekend....

Nanika atta? Just a heads up... I will be away Friday/Saturday to send my bro off to college... He's going to Penn State University Main Campus for Engineering (I think, Mechanical? Or Electrical?) It's about 3 hours from my house, so we won't be seeing him that often :(

We had a fun night last night-- me, my sister, my brother, and three of my cosuins all hung out for one last night together before my bro goes. We played board games till like 3 in the morning, hahaa...

Soo... I won't be writing til Sunday or Monday... So, everyone have a good weekend!! I'm having Vietnamese tonight! Yummy! Spring rolls, here I come!! Anyway, Sayonara for now!

   Sayonara Otakon.... :'(

Well, I've been back from Otakon for a few days... (We didn't stay for Sunday). It was awesome, though I expected no less... except... it's always exhausting!! You have no idea! All of the walking gets to you, and especially when you have not-the-best-walking shoes for your costume... My back ached nearly the entire time, even when sitting...

We had a lot of people ask to take our picture ^_^ We were basically the only ones cosplaying from Alice 19th, so we felt special :D heheh... I'll post a pic sometime soon!

Anyway, my friend and I spent most of our time in the Dealer's Room, I think! hahaa... Though I didn't buy that much, I did spend a lot of money... -_-" I bought lots of pencils boards and posters, and pins, shirts, and a Shinn figurine!! (from Gundam Seed Destiny) Though I spent a good amount of my money on a katana... It's so much better than I one I already had... This one's a better quality one-- black, stainless steel, wooden sheath with two kanji carved on the one side (don't know what they say yet) I love it, and am glad I got it ^_^

Anyway... what else did we do? We saw two of the main events held at Otakon... on Friday night, the AMV Contest... Lots of awesome anime music videos that lasted late into the night ^_^ And on Saturday night, the Masquerade. Lots of talented people performed there, and lots of the skits were really funny :D Before the Masquerade, a Japanese singer performed. Her name was Kumiko Kato, and she was very good and entertaining...

Soo... Otakon is over.... And that makes me sad... But guess what?! Otakon 2006 is being held on August 4-6!! So, something to look forward to!! (Already?!) Well, I'm off to work on some school work... ugh... Hope everyone had a good weekend!!

   Konnichiwa OTAKON! Irasshaimase!!

Okie, tomorrow's the big day ^_^ I will be leaving tomorrow morning to drive down to Baltimore (only 1.5-2 hour drive). The costume's all done!! Though, it's kind of hard to move around in... -_-" That tends to happen with cosplay...

Anyway, I hope to have lots of fun, and I'll tell you all about it ^_^ Today is my cousin's 21st b-day so later we're going to go out and eat.. unfortunately I can't go with them to the karaoke bar cuz I'm only 17... -_-" Oh well... Plus, I need to rest up for Otakon! haha!

Soo... I'll see you all on Sunday, probably... Ja mata! Dewa mata! Sayonara!

   Otakon Here I Come!

Aaah! Otakon is only one week away!!! And I still have to finish my costume! (This happens every year... -_-") At least I'm almost done!! No worries! I am going to get most of it done today!!

In any case... I am ssoooooo EXCITED!! Anyone who has never experienced an Otakon (or a convention in general) has no idea! It is truly awesome! Beyond words! Anyone who has a chance to go to a convention (esp. the bigger ones)... take it! You WON'T be disappointed! It is amazing... Everyone around you is just as obsessed about anime and manga as you are... ^_^; Like one big family! And so much to do, and so much to BUY! (I'm going to be broke after this!! ^_^")

Anyway... anyone else here at theO going to Otakon? Or have any of you been to a con? Anyone cosplayed before?
Well, I'm off to sew... hope everyone is having a good weekend!

   Happy August!!

What the hell?! It's August already?! No way.... -_-" Why does the summer go by so quickly? And I still have so much summer work for school to be done... bah...

Anyway, sorry I haven't posted in a while... I just haven't had much to say. Wouldn't what to bore you all ^_^;

In any case... let's see... Oh! There's an anime store, called "Anime Bento", that opened up sort of near my house! Me and my friend are going to check it out sometime... I wonder what kind of stuff it has??

Otakon is fast approaching and I still have to complete my costume... the basics are done... now for the more detailed things... I'll definitely have it done in time, but with everything else I have to do, I might be pulling my hair out, haha.... j/k

See... I can't think of anything else to say... If I do think of something, I'll add it... so, until next time... Sayonara!!

   The Half-Blood Prince

Sorry I haven't been around to update or visit sites... I've been busy the last week or so. I just started a new job, working with my sister at her SuperCuts (she's the manager there). It wasn't really planned, but it happened that they wanted a part-time receptionist, and I did want a job this summer. It'll be good to have money to support my obsessions... more manga and anime...

Speaking of obsessions... Harry Potter!! Need I say more? I got the new book on Saturday (of course) but since I was at work, I didn't get a chance to read it... So I read all day yesterday... I got through like a third of it... I'm so excited!! I know the ending is going to be crazy!! I can't wait... HP is AWESOME!!! *tries to control herself*

heheh... Anyway... I just got my Fullmetal Alchemist T-shirt I ordered!! It's the red one with the symbol on the back and a transmutation circle on the front. I also got an Ed keychain, haha... ^_^; Now I'm waiting for my Gundam Seed Destiny figurines!! I'm obsessed with figurines!! (I'm obsessed with a lot of things ;) )

Soo... Hopefully I'll be around every once in a while. I'll try to update as often as I can. See you guys around and hope you all have a great week! :D

   Happy 7th of July!!

ummm.... O-genki desu ka? Genki desu... Hope you are all doing well on this fine day XD I'm tired... I woke up too early for no apparent reason...

Anyway, yesterday I started working on my outfit for Otakon at the end of August... I'm going as Mei Lin from Alice 19th (and my friend is going as Alice). At first it wasn't too bad (though I HATE cutting fabric -_-") but now... AAAHHH!!!! It's turning out all retarded, and it might end up being to small... >.< So many headaches!!! Hope it all turns out ok for Otakon... the happiest place on earth XD

I have to go to the denist today... my mom just told me yesterday... kind of messes up my plans for today... oh well...

   Happy Fourth of July!

Hope everyone had a good Fourth of July!!-- at least those of us in the U.S. ;) Watched my town's parade, got sunburned, and saw fireworks... It was a pretty good day.

Today is my half-birthday!! Haha... random and pointless, but... in six months I'll be 18!! Aah! Weird and scary, haha.

Anyway... I got my order of manga books that I bought online the other day... I LOVE MANGA!!! So... awesome... Let's see, I have two more books to go, but here's what I got:

Oh! Has anyone ever seen Nickeloden's Avatar: The Last Airbender? It's awesome!! The BEST American-produced "anime" I've ever seen, and first Nick show I've seen with real class. It's awesome, and you've got to check it out if you haven't seen it.

Avatar is on Fridays at 7:30 and 8 PM, and Saturday mornings at 11:30 AM on Nickeloden.


A MUST SEE! It is anime-worthy.. *bows down* See ya all later!!

   Return

Dou shiteru? I'm back! I got back yesterday at 4 in the morning. I slept a lot when I got back, hahaa... Anyway, it was lots of fun. My sister, brother, cousin, and I hung out together, and we went on 38 roller coaster rides!! (18 Apollo's Chariot, 11 Alpengeist, 5 Lochness Monster, and 4 Big Bad Wolf) So awesome! I love roller coasters!! And in the front row you feel like you're flying cuz there's nothing in front of you! :D

The last night we were there we were riding Apollo's Chariot at night, and we got to go on multiple times in a row because the ride was closed and no one was in our row, and they had to send out a few more trains to let on everyone who was in the front row. It was great. The funny part is that we had to go back to the middle of the park to get stuff out of a our locker, and had to be escorted around by a guard because they had already cleared the area!! Hahaa... It was funny...

Blackwings was asking about Busch Gardens' newest ride, Curse of DarKastle. It's one of those 3-D rides with a car that goes throughout the building. The car moves around in a way to give the ride different effects to go along with motion and story on the screen. It was pretty good, and out of all the rides it was the longest wait we had while there, and it was only like 30 mins. We never had to wait long for roller coasters, and the weather was good except it was a little rainy the last day.

Anyway... enough of that. How was everybody else's week? What are you guys doing for the weekend and the holiday? I won't be doing much ^_^;

I'm in the process of watching Gundam Seed Destiny... YAY! So awesome!! I have up to DVD 7... I wonder how many episodes it is? Anyway, considering I absolutely LOVE Gundam Seed, GS Destiny is AWESOME! It's fun that there's a new plot (based on events in GS) and new characters (of which I like most of them) but there's still the great influence of Gundam Seed. Lots of GS characters are back! I want to see more of Kira!! LOL. Athrun has a big part and I like the new main character, Shinn. He's cute like Kira :P If any of you like Gundam Seed, Destiny is totally worth watching!

   SAYONARA!! Well, not for long!

I'm leaving early tomorrow morning to go on a trip to Busch Gardens, VA. It's REALLY NICE there... This will be my fourth time there over the years... Haha, I went on my first roller coaster there when I was six! Anyway, it's a trip that's supposed to be a celebration for my bro graduating high school, so I get a free trip out of it! LOL Anyway-- to the point... I'll be away Monday through Thursday-ish. Don't miss me too much, LOL. ^_^;

Anyway, I was going to ask a few days ago about why it seemed like a lot of my friends on here who had high enough ratings to be on the Top Ten List weren't there... so I thought there was some new rule to it or something... AND now I'm on there!! What the hell? LOL... I actually prefer to not be on the list because I feel my rating is safer from haters -_-" Though it is a good way to advertise and get votes (just as long as they aren't bad votes! ;) )

But the list still doesn't make sense... I DON"T GET IT! I was thinking maybe you have to have posted a pic within a certain time from the current date.. like within a month or something... Like, for instance, Abbis has a high enough rating to be on the list (and definitely should be!) but she hasn't added a new pic for a couple of months... That's my only guess... ^_^;

Anyway, enough of that! Haha, yesterday I painted the Fullmetal Alchemist symbol on my black/red portable CD case thingy. Now it's awesome! *I'm such a loser :P *

Hmmm... I can't thing of anything else to say.. Watch, later I'll remember something else I wanted to add -_-" *thinks* ...Nope... I'm empty...

Oh! I got something! Cartoon Network is retarded... The schedule they have posted on their site for last night was wrong -_-' I usually tape the AS shows and go to sleep, but I watched them last night because everything was pushed back and rearranged... Although blackwings did give me a heads-up, so it wasn't so bad. Samurai Champloo @ 11:30, Inuyasha @ 12, Scryed @ 12:30, and Paranoia Agent @ 1. All of the episodes were AWESOME last night!

Okay... Sorry for making such long posts lately... I making up for lost time, hahaa! See you all on Thursday!! And please keep an eye on my rating for me -_-; I have a bad feeling :(

Oh! I thought of something else! (told you). Have you seen some art works with ratings over 100? I saw one with like 200 yesterday! I don't know what's wrong with the site, but I've been seeing a lot. Even one of my pics has that ^_^;
