   WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
OMG! Our performance last night - opening night of the musical - was phenomenal. We had a full house - completely sold out! I guess it's true what they say: if you have a terrible dress rehearsal, your opening night is amazing.

My friends - Doodle, Rianamix, and Draelren - all came and took me out to Denny's afterwards and I was out till midnight. I never thought I could be so tired and so happy at the same time!

Everything went off without a hitch! I'm just so amazed we actually did it! Everyone was at peak performance. As you dramatists probably know, having a live audience makes a world of difference!

And the orchestra was amazing, too! I am so proud of this show it's crazy! Well, when the show's over maybe I'll put up a picture - fanart, maybe? - of the cast in costume...

Three more performances, let's hope they stay good!

Until we meet again,

   Four Days
There are four days - counting today - until opening night. For those of you who have never put on a musical, let me just say that it is so stressful that sometimes you just want to die.

When you're sick and the director is yelling at you simply for being sick, that is not a fun place to be. When you try your hardest and all you ever hear is negative criticism, that is not a fun place to be. Oddly enough, however, our director encourages us to have fun with it despite the atmosphere making that virtually impossible. I know I shouldn't complain about my director. I realize that she is probably twice as stressed out as we are, but I still don't think it's right for her to take it out on us when we - most of us, anyways - are trying our hardest to do what she says.

Anyway, the library's closing so I have to go.

Bye!

   I went to the zoo!
Yesterday I got to skip school because the Asian American Association (which is a group of American students who want to get to know the international students better) went to the zoo!!! I took a bunch of pictures with my phone. We saw wolves and a grizzly bear, and they were SOOO cute! I got to see all the animals they have at our zoo except for the animals of the northwest, which is fine because I can see those anytime. It was a good day, until play practice started...

Then I couldn't stop coughing and choking and I had to sit out for most of the musical numbers because of it. I drank water to try to calm my cough, but I choked on it. I'm afraid of getting really sick before our show, but if I stay home from school my director will get really pissed at me, so I have to tough it out. Sigh. DeathNote 11 was pretty good. Now I need to find the money for D. Gray-Man 5 and Black Cat 8 or 9 - I can't remember which one.

So, I'll leave you all for now to recover and finish my make-up work from the band thing last week.

My AP English test is tomorrow! Pray for me please!

'Til we meet again...

   S'been a while!
Okay, so a lot's happened since the last time we chatted. Our band went to the ACSI Musicale, and I kept a log of everything interesting that happened while we were there. So here it is in its entirety:

May 1, 2007

We played musical chairs at lunch. This means that whenever someone got up to get dessert or something, someone from another table would get up and take their seat. It was fun. Martha also put salt in some people's dessert, which had amusing end results. Erik laughed so he spit out his Mountain Dew on his mashed potatoes (and all over the table) and everyone left.

Martha got one of the chaperones - a really mild-mannered woman - to drive in circles around a tree in the parking lot at Fred Meyer.

At the hotel, Martha and I went swimming and we saw our band teacher in his swimming suit - which was hilarious. We also played keep-away with some of the boys.

RiceFlinga, who is in my band, went out the window and tapped on the boys window and scared them.

RiceFlinga, me, and Nisker and Jocko started a DS pictochat between hotel rooms.

When we turned on the lamp in our room, the light bulb exploded and glass flew everywhere.

We went into the hall and saw our band teacher on hall patrol in his pajamas and bathrobe. Martha took a picture with my cell phone!

We found a breakfast steak from November of last year in our hotel room's refrigeator.

Martha called her parents at 11:00 at night and said on the answering machine "The nerve of my parents!" because they didn't pick up.

Jocko - not his real name - shaved to give himself a Hitler mustache, but then he shaved it all off.

May 2, 2007

Martha and I got up at six am and went on a walk. We found no elevators.

AFter pounding on the boys' door to get them to wake up, Martha called the boys' room and gave them a wake-up call.

Martha tried to wake up RiceFlinga in assorted ways. First, she tickled her feet. Then she took her pillow and started hitting her - hard - with it. Then she tickled her some more and then poured water on her back until she woke up and asked "What are you doing?"

Our toilet overflowed.

We played BS (the card game) during adjudications (the judging of musicians) and had to be quiet about it.

That's pretty much it. We did the musical chairs thing every time we ate, and it always got funnier.

So, nothing new has happened except that I got the DS Pokemon game and that... ugh... starting tonight our musical practices start going from 6-10pm. I have two AP tests this week, so it really sucks...

I have time to write this, though, because I get to skip third block because I had one of my AP tests today.

Plus I got DeathNote 11. Only one left!!!

Until whenever I get around to getting on again,

I'm ToonMasta.

   Good News/Bad News
The good news is... Well, first of all our church had an auction to raise money, and my brother got a guitar and I got this really cool map of the world. Also, my brother got Shining Tears for the PS2 - the people in that are so cute! I got some blank CDs and a CD labeling thing so I can make pretty CD's now! Yay! Anyway, now on to the bad news.

First of all, my senior thesis paper is due tomorrow and I still haven't started yet because I thought I left my notecards at school and then I realized I had them at home... Anyway, that's a really stressful thing. Also, everyone around here is getting sick. I think it's just a cold, but it's really bad and it's going around everywhere. I have two AP exams next week that I have to study for, and next week the musical practices start going till 10 pm. I guess it's just that really stressful time of the year, right?

Well, I'll be swamped for quite a while, so you know what that means: No new fan art for quite a while. Maybe I'll do a piece when I graduate - which is only about a month away! I can't believe it!

See ya in the future! Bye!

   AAAAAAHHHHHHHHGGGGGGG!!!
My senior thesis rough draft is due on Tuesday and guess what: I haven't started writing it yet! That's ten to fifteen pages due in four days. Oh well...

So... Let's see... Nothing totally cool has happened lately. I don't have enough money to get any cool video games or anything... Whatever...

So, I'm feeling sick - sore throat and everything. There's an epidemic going around here. Absolutely everybody keeps getting sick. It's weird and scary... Well, not so much scary, but...

Well... I'll see you guys all later. Bye bye.

   Super Sleepy
Yikes, I'm tired. I woke up about five times in the middle of the night yesterday because my stomach was bothering me. I just got my braces tightened, so that kinda sucks...

This week has been really hard - for a lot of people not just me. There was the Virginia Tech incident - please pray for the families and students there - and my family's been having a lot of financial and house troubles. On Wednesday our bathroom flooded and our power went out for about an hour, and I know my friends have been having troubles, too...

I guess I don't have too much to say, but I will say that I found the soundtrack for EarthBound and the track list for the .hack// cd (turns out it was Legend of the Twilight, not signs). Plus I found Asterisk. Now I just need the Tales music... If you find any, let me know (especially the theme songs from both games).

Well, I've gotta go. Senior thesis stuff to turn in. Have a good week, all of you.

   My goal is MUSIC!
I've decided that I want to somehow get the soundtracks to all the games and anime I like. But, having no money, I want to be able to download stuff free.. The real stuff, not some dumb imitation music. So... soundtracks I want would be...

EarthBound
Tales of Symphonia
Tales of the Abyss
Bleach - actually, I just want Asterisk by Orange Range
Katamari Damacy

Also, I'd like the track lists (I have the sountracks for them already) for the Pretear Soundtrack and the .hack//signs soundtrack, so if you people could find those, that would be great.

BTW, Doodle in particular, if you know any other music I'd probably like, you can just send me websites or files or whatever.

My senior thesis thing was rockin'! My advisor said that a lot of the other teachers that read my outline really wanted to see my presentation, so that's a good sign...

No drama today or yesterday means more time to play EarthBound! I'm in the Department Store in Fourside now, and I last saved about two seconds before Paula disapears... Having just Ness and Jeff is HARD!

Well, I'll see you guys later! Bye bye!

   My goodness.
Well, Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it - and to those of you who don't. My weekend started off good, but...

Well, on Friday Doodle visited school with me and we hung out for a while and that was fun, but then on Friday night through Sunday everyone in my family was really sick. My mom had a fever of 103, my brother was reallly dizzy, and I was pretty sick myself. My dad was the only one who wasn't sick, and he was the only one who was able to go to church on Easter. I feel bad about that now.

I got the Death Note soundtrack from Doodle - yay! It's very cool, but some of the tracks are just boring drum-type-stuff. I also have the first five episodes of the anime saved to my laptop now. I want to download more anime! I'm going crazy!

I started a new game in EarthBound, one of the coolest games ever that I never beat before because I sucked at all video games the last time I played it. It's way easier than I remember it being before. I made it to the traffic jam in the desert, for those of you who've played it. My stuff is named as follows:
Ness: Adam
Paula: Molly
Jeff: Seth
Poo: Kenji
Dog: Dist
Food: Apples
Thing: Puppet

Not that you people even care. Being in Twoson was a big accomplishment for me, sadly, so I'm excited about getting as far as I have - and with such ease!!!

Yesterday, the Oracle and I took the bus to Powell's and sold some books. We made $42 between the two of us selling a bag full of children's picture books! I got some fairy tale books with my money, but I wish I'd gotten a Pinky St. figurine instead of one of the books I got...

Well, back to senior thesis! Also, I'm taking suggestions for fanart. ASYLUM's 25 crazies are almost done - I have 20 or so already! - so I may put up pics of some of them soon... I'll take requests, though!

BTW, do you people remember Shroudcaster? Remind me to tell him to get on - I know him in person - because he has a rockin' awesome Eyeshield 21 piece - at the risk of blasphemy against the artists, I'd say it's good enough to be their own work. It so rocks. He displayed it in a show for midterms, so I got to see it.

Anyhoo, gotta fly. Lots of things to do - like senior thesis!

Ja mata!

With the Kids Sing Out the Future!
Yeah. So, everyone I know seems in a bad mood lately - I mean at school, not you guys. It's probably the back-from-break-blues... That's how I figure, anyhow...

Hey do any of you have links to sites where I can find real Deathnote music? I have L's theme, but my brother - the Oracle - wants me to get the main theme and I want a site for that...

Maybe soon I'll do some fanart, but right now I'm being dragged down by drama and my stupid senior thesis project... Aagh!

Anyway, I have a AP Government test to study for. Sorry I couldn't stay and chat longer, but I've gotta go. Buh-bye!
