Yawn...*=_=
Well, today was a little tiring - though I hardly had any work to do. I suppose it's because I got only four hours of sleep and I sat in that extra comfy chair in the dark office while the boss was gone and didn't go to sleep. Stupid determination...

Anyway, today was payday ^_^. It looks like its time to buy a laptop for Krusty! 8 hours a day for 5 days a week ends up being a hefty 40 hours a week ^-^; I get paid alright too. I'm pretty happy with my job situation. ^_^

There was so little to do today (and the boss was out on site), so I took the liberty of starting my Naruto O.C. contest drawing. I don't have it ready photoshop, and its still in the pre-penciling phase. Just to make sure everyone isn't confused, my way of drawing is start with blue line body skeleton (no-photo blue) and follow it with details either also in blue or another color, followed that with No2 pencil, maybe ink after that and then photoshop out the stuff I don't want. I just recently learned how to use the pen tool, so my lines are going to start looking cleaner after the photoshop step ^_^

Well, that was today. Yesterday, nothing of note actually happened - no, really... it was boring, so I'll talk about the movie that I forgot to mention on Saturday.

Paprika:
Apparently from the same art director as Paranoia Agent, this was like watching the entire series backwards and then forwards again. It was wonderful and beautiful. I half expected to actually have dreams I could remember afterward. Weird ones. Alas, I remember nothing, nor did I Saturday morning. I should have been off to see the movie for free on Saturday night, but I didn't read my e-mail correctly and I forgot to go on Saturday. I so would have watched it a second time ^-^! I already regret the loss of my free ticket T_T.

Nothing else today seeing as I'm so out of it.

Discussion Question:

1) Do you think that just because someone doesn't like something, it means that they hate or just dislike what it represents? For example, I don't like Yaoi. Does that make me a bigot?

2) If I took away your freedom of speech, what would you say?

Read more about why I posted this in Iruka Sensei's post today

p.s. responses:

to A-zak:
well, I've gone into your wallpaper archives and picked out a few I think you had that were themed summer, fall, and winter. Right now, I have the summer one with the theme park in the background. When I posted that last - um - post, I had the one with the girl on the broom ^-^

to kitsune shojo:
Yeah, Miniatures tournaments are played with figurines. It's kinda like chess (extremely nerdy chess). Coincidentally, I just happened to quit my long running addiction to a card game (not like my addiction was unhealthy or anything - the game just started to suck :P)

to Baptistgirl:
I meant no joke when I said that about the AMV. That stuff can be dangerous. I wasn't present when it happened, but during the dance at Ikkicon in Austin, one girl had a fit in the middle of the dance floor.

The past couple of days...
Sorry everybody ^_^ for some reason of another I couldn't post on Thursday, but I made sure to comment as much as I could so you'd know I wasn't dead! x_x... oops, krusty is dead... dangit

Ah, that's better. Good thing I don't have one of my own wallpapers on my computer, or I might have forgotten to post today ^_^ (for my own computer, I use one of A-zak's wonderful walls for now)

Sometimes you've got to reboot... you know that show... nevermind. What happened during Saturday morning cartoons 5 years ago apparently stays there...

Today was somewhat eventful...
But perhaps I should start with - um - Thursday.

Thursday

very eventful day...
Went to lunch because I still didn't have the noodle cups my mom said she'd get for me, so I decided to go to "Lovers Eggroll" on Lemmon Avenue. I just had to because someone in the office had to get PeiWei and bring it back! TT_TT
I can't stand not eating good Chinese food when I can smell it... I ordered sesame chicken (all-star food there ^_^) and got in my car to take it back to the office. I backed out of the space with a little difficulty. Something (I thought it wasn't a big deal) was underneath my front right tire. I just kept going and as I was about to turn onto the road, I noticed that my car was leaning to the right. I pulled over to the grocery store across the street and got out. Sure enough, my tire was busted. I know how to handle this, so I opened up the trunk and pulled out the jack and the donut (spare) and lifted the car up on the jack and took off the hubcap. I got to taking the wheel off and the thing wouldn't budge... T_T me so weak! I just couldn't get the things off!! The air wrench that had been used at the Wal-Mart so soon after I got the car (February of last year) had too much torque on it or something... Lucky for me, one of the employees there shows up and was able to get the wheel off. That probably kept me from going insane with all the problems of the day - including the rain that started pouring while I was fixing the flat ^_^

So, I got back and was only partially soaked in my nice new pants and only partially pissed off at the world. I said to the secretary, "I hope this it the best damn Chinese food I've ever had" and went on to explain my current turn of events. Lucky for the safety of everyone in the office, it really was the best Chinese food I've ever had ^_^
I used chopsticks of course :P but I used them to eat ALL of the rice! I didn't think I could pull it off because I didn't have a fork ^_^

Friday

Work as usual... but it was Friday! I get to eat out on the company dime! We went to a "tavern" at the new American Airlines center about three blocks from the office. I had the chicken tenders, but they were almost too "fancy" for me to eat... but I was hungry - really hungry. I even ate the mediocre french fries (though I had to use a fork because they were so greasy - with such fancy grease too).

Today

I woke up to my alarm clock going off about ten minutes after I had set it to go off. Yeah, I've had my problems waking up lately. I happened to have a miniatures tournament going on today and I had to be there at about ten (I really don't try to wake up until at least 11:00 on Saturdays). I did pretty well considering this was my worst format to play in. I got 5th! I didn't win anything - that's for the good players... the one's who lost against players that didn't suck... first through fourth in other words... >.
Next time I'll definitely do better!

After that I went to get my tire fixed as well as a gauntlet of other things done on and around my car.

Next Saturday is more of the same - hopefully minus the tire repair - that sucked! There's another tournament on the 7th as well.

AMV time

Now, I don't recommend that you watch this if you are prone to fits of epileptic seizure... its kinda - yeah...

Todays post is sponsored by: this joke

q: what's the difference between 100 dead babies and a Lamborghini?

HAHA, I can never get enough of those dead baby jokes!

Hello again everybody!
This is the real post today!

ninja noodles
Noodle Ninja
| Hosted By theOtaku.com

This is the blocked server friendly version... maybe -_-. I know - I know - you look at him and think "Master shake". But how can he be Master Shake without the hands made of drippy goo, or with the highly detailed face (comparably -_-;)...

Anyways, I wasn't thinking about it until after I got it home and showed my dad. Even he was reminded of an ATHF character... I was surprised.

Well, there's a deadline coming up week after next, so I'm gonna need to shut off at about 10-11pm if I'm gonna have a chance of staying awake for the overtime I'll have to be doing -_-;
I've actually never had overtime pay before, I hear that time and a half is good money though...

I just found out there's fanart contests going on around the O and it seems its just the motivation I need to get drawing some more. ^-^

Anyways, votes are appreciated!

*I owe, I owe, so back to work I go...

just a picture I uploaded today...
well, this probably wont be my only post today - It's still yesterday in my mind, so this is like the second post today... or something... try not to get confused.

I haven't really stopped drawing, I merely stopped finishing my drawings, so here's one that is "finished" so far as line work is concerned:

Ninja-food

I'll post the MyO version later (when its actually up there...)

Dark and Dreary

MMO

well after a dark and moonless hour
began a raid of forested tower
n00b they called me for that I was
although I was playing just because

Yeah, lame poem. I felt the need to rhyme a little just to start off this inconsequential post.

You might guess that I played an MMORPG last night... Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst (PSOBB for short). It was pretty weird looking and the features of the game were pretty, um, lame? The biggest problem with it was the lack of a useful tutorial. I had to learn how to set up the game and then how to play the game from my friends brother. It's totally not worth buying... good thing I got it for free. I gave up around 1am, and it took me a bit of time to get to sleep (not a big deal).

In the morning, I woke up to the sound of my dad opening the door to my room (not my alarm clock!!). It should have been my alarm clock about an hour earlier, so I wasn't in the best kind of prepared situation -_-;;;

By the time I got to my stop on the train, it was about to rain. I happen to have thrown my old ratty umbrella away on Sunday and I had to walk 8-10 blocks to work in it. Its not as bad as it could have been - I was able to buy an umbrella at the nearest convenience store.

It was raining when I got off work too. Not my kind of day I say. I don't like to be in the rain so much as I like rainy days. Well, I've got some church group stuff to get to, so I'll say bye for now!

Hello again!
Well, I got my response from OLS and am now an official member, so to mark the occasion I've updated my story. I made this installment a little shorter than usual too.

Ninja Kai-Chapter 3: Part 6

“Gaijinkage-sama!” Booshi had appeared suddenly in the field. Gaijinkage stood where he was with the arrow piercing his hand.
“Miho and his nephew have gone too far Booshi. I need you to get together a crack squad of our elites and arrest them for attempted murder. I’ll teach Kai for you today.”
“But, master…”
“What better protection can we give Kai than the village’s craziest old man?”
Booshi seemed to smile under his mask. “None, sir,” he replied before he dashed off into the woods.
“Now Kai pay attention,” Gaijinkage said. “I will now make sure you know a decent amount of first-aid: How does someone take an arrow out?” He turned and held his pierced hand palm up toward Kai. The fletching of the arrow was a pitch black color that matched the color of the shaft.
“I remember… You break the arrow and pull it the rest of the way through?”
“Correct!” Gaijinkage then snapped the arrow just above the wound and pulled the arrow through, wincing slightly.
“Now I’ve got a tougher question. What is the best material to use for a bandage?”
“Um, I learned this in a first-aid manual… gauze? But we don’t have any… unless there’s some in this toolkit,” he said, remembering what Yuna said about how specifically the tool-kit was packed.
“That’s where you’re wrong, Kai. Then again, you can’t always be right when you are the student. The best bandage is living skin – live tissue.”
“But-“Kai started to interrupt.
“How does someone make a bandage that way? I assume that’s what you were about to ask… It’s a simple technique using the energy that Booshi showed you – he did show it to you, right?”
“Yes, sir”
“Now, I’ll simply concentrate that energy on that one point where the arrow was and…”
Kai watched Gaijinkage’s hand seal itself up as a bright red – almost pink light gathered at the wound.
“Luckily, Konsetsuo wasn’t being so terrible as to use poison on his arrow, or the task would have been much more painful.”
Hen then broke the head off of the arrow and placed it in his pocket. “I really doubt it, but the Miho family could have a new poison I don’t know about, so I need a sample.”
“How could you tell he didn’t poison it?” Kai asked.
“Because I’m not bleeding anymore. The Miho family is well known for being poisonous in both personality and skill. Oddly enough, they have also specialized in poisons since before the ninja massacre back in Japan. The only poisons we have allowed them to continue to have are weaker, mind affecting poisons, one that blinds the victim, and another that prevents healing of any kind. I’m not blind, I’m just as sane as I was before, and the wound just healed…”
“Is there anything you do to the energy to make it heal like that?”
“No, Kai. The truth is that a wound in the hand will do the least damage because energy will heal damaged flesh wherever it is channeled.”
“So, if I can just control where it goes, I can heal myself at any time?”
“Well Kai, with the level of control you have right now you might be able to heal your hand…”
Gaijinkage then got up and pulled out of his robe a bag similar to Kai’s tool-kit.
“Do you understand how Booshi can turn his energy into a fireball?”
“No, sir”
“Then let’s see if you can turn yours into one.”

Don't forget that just because I have only the most recent update on my site here doesn't mean you have to miss the rest of it! I'm published as far as legal reasons are concerned and you can read the first two chapters and parts 1-4 of chapter three for free (no kidding? =_=;) at www.fictionpress.com

Lately

Well, we've got a cat now. I'm sorry, but I really hope its only through the end of summer. She's cute and everything like any 2 or 3 year old cat can be, but we already have two dogs and this cat is not the sociable type (not that many are...). We got her (her name's Joey) from some friends of my dad who live in Oregon. Now, I like this cat and everything, but there's a few problems I've got with her:
1. I seem to be allergic to her (itchy eye)
2. While she's acting friendly, she hisses at me while I pet her (-_- so weird)
3. She's already managed to create a substantial amount of fear in our younger dog Leah. Leah shivers like crazy when the cat's near - its funny and not funny at the same time.

Questions:

1. Are you allergic to any animals?
2. Have you ever had EasyMac?
3. Can you use chopsticks?
4. I have 70 volumes of manga, how many do you have?

Thanks for all your comments! Hasta luego!
-Krustyknuckles

p.s. - That was not an actual application I had put up on Tuesday last week. I figure saying this now at the end of a post will get more attention than putting it three or four times at the beginning of a post did. I have no intention of starting a dating relationship online - thank you.

   SO... ugh...TIRED...
I really shouldn't... then again I am walking to work. Its a good quarter mile in halfway comfortable shoes through downtown at a good pace. I haven't been hit by a car yet, so that's good. I have only been asked for money about three times in the past three weeks too. I swear it happened 3 times in the first week, I was happy to oblige because maybe he really does need that crack... Its none of my business anyway after I get a smile from someone down on their luck.

Today (I don't recommend you read all of this)

I still had trouble getting to work. This morning I parked my car in the parking lot just as the train was leaving: Bad thing which = 10 minutes later to work (I would've been on time for once! TT-TT)
right after, I tried to count $2.50 in change at the ticket station (I failed terribly) and a guy hands me his extra weekly pass someone else had given him when he had left his own somewhere (way to pay it forward, man!): good
The train was same old same old... no hassles, just some person who doesn't understand they can lose their hearing and thinks that they are "sharing" the "good" music blaring from their headphones. I swear it was the same music from yesterday. It was the same repetitive (rap) beat for about 20 minutes. I had to cheat to finish my Sudoku puzzle (looked at answers) before my stop (Friday's puzzle is hardest).

I walked fast so my legs felt like they were about to fall off (that's when its exercise) and got to work only ten minutes late (an astounding 10-20 minutes less late than normal)

I won't go over my day in the office, because in words... it's boring. I do love the work though. Fridays are awesome too, because the boss buys lunch at a restaurant ^-^

We all piled in Christian's (not my boss) car and went to a little Mexican cantina called Mia's. It's very weird to know that the entire company fit in a Volvo station wagon. I was already hungry at 11:00, so the hunger was starting to get to me. I could hardly stand still.
When we finally got seated, I ordered a shredded chicken chimichanga and a coke (FYI/funfact - I don't use that as "Texan" for a soda - or even a Dr. Pepper).

That's as much of my day that was really interesting. After I left work early (c'mon it's Friday 0_o...) I went to my friend Rich's to play Guitar Hero. I'm still really good at it, but not the greatest I was able to play pretty well, but got bored quickly. I came home and here's my blog...

Wow, so that's what it looks like when I go over details of my day until I lose focus and start drifting off to facebook... I'm really not sure why I'm using it...

Laptop

I've decided to get a laptop. I'm sure I can write more if I can take my compy with me and I'll have something to work on while on the train. I thought about a Macbook, but the prices (although worth it) were just out of reach. I checked prices for DELL notebooks and found out I could get one for nearly $500 (nowhere near so drastic as $999 for a Mac book (and that's the student price!!) The package I chose ended up being about $550 (can't remember what I added...).

too... many... parentheses...

Well, that means its goodbye time! I thank you for all the comments and even though its already late, you should definitely consider having a good day.

New post...
Wow, job is sure taking away all that time I once had to post =_=... my creative hobbies are being smothered by the weekdays, but I can do a whole bunch of stuff when Saturday rolls around... like sleep for example. Or not sleep if I want to be "extra creative" (yeah, some people actually do that - or they just have a few too many beers).

Well, I've got a lot on my plate, so since everyone missed it (mostly because I didn't really go into detail when I did talk about my day) here's a rundown on my week so far:

Monday

first thoughts: "why can't every weekend be three days instead of two? -- stupid monday... =_="

Went to work, worked, and replied to many a blog - I think...

Went home and played waay too much Fable again.

Tuesday

Waking up isn't easy =_=...
back to work, had two things of cup Ramen XD
I luvs that stuff (mostly good because I eat it with chopsticks)

Went home and played more Fable... kept better track of time (still not good enough).

Wednesday

Nope, still not easy =_=;
I think you should see a pattern by now. I went to work again. Once again made sure to get to people's sites. Posted that Orochimaru "poke" thingy hoping that I would have time to blog later. I was wrong. I had run out of ramen cups, so I decided to have an "expensive" meal instead and went to a place called Atomic Sushi (I went there last week) for lunch. I almost gave in to my "inability" to try new foods by getting another California roll, but remembered to try the Tempura instead. It wasn't as good, and there was less of it, and I had to pay more... but the Miso soup was still just as delicious as last week ^-^

I went to my friend Bryan's house after work (got there about 6:15-30ish) to get his copy of Photoshop working and maybe scan something for him. Turns out his computer wouldn't read the driver disk for the scanner, and probably not the scanner either... he didn't get a scan. After that I went to pick up my friend Sean from where he works to go play a game called Mage: the Ascension. I made a character based on Louise Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist. The game went on and the first person to notice the time saw a one followed by a colon and two other numbers, so we stopped playing. Got home around 1:30 and went almost straight to sleep.

Today

=_= work.... again? I really need to be sleeping more, so I can actually be awake when I ride the train to work and then walk the 8 blocks to get to the office.

Haven't had lunch... yet. I forgot to get something on my way out of the house and I didn't take my break either, so I'm off the clock because I've done everything that I can think of to do right now, and I'll be going home just after I'm done with this.

AMV?

My sister, Kari (who doesn't have a MyO account - its "all about Myspace" to her) showed this video to me yesterday. It's hilarious:

That's all for today, and it looks like I have to buy a new umbrella on my way home...

Quick replies to the comments & the Girlfriend application
Hells light: that's exactly why I was debating not putting it up. It's merely a gimmick and I may not be able to correct everyone... -_-;
I'd be the last person to try dating online outside of a dating service, and even a dating service would be a stretch...

Baptist girl: yep, bored. that's me. typing replies to comments at 1:30am... still bored...

Angel Zakuro: Thanks, I needed that... my brain. but that's not what keeps me entertained I guess, cause I'm still bored and I even tried making my brain fall out again today (almost did...)

Kitsune shojo: Just to make it completely clear, the girlfriend application is a gimmick. Just like the "what do you think of me?" thing that went around the O last month. I'll post a truncated version (pesky brain... using big words) so that not all the "sensitive" information will be written (phone # etc.).
