Just my luck. It’s been beautiful and sunny ALL summer long and my one week of vacation is nothing but crappy, rainy, cold weather. Feh! And I’m glad you guys enjoyed the gif from the last post once again. I think watching that brings a smile to anyone’s face. NINJA WIZARDS!!^_^

Holy crap, gas prices are expensive!! One doesn’t notice it as much when they’re not paying for their own gas but boy, is it painful to fill up a tank of gas and see $40 go down the tube…literally. Gas is about $3.10 a gallon in upstate NY. How expensive is it where you guys are? Ah well, Labor Day weekend and all and then with all the problems in New Orleans. You know, I hate to throw politics into my topics of conversation but how come when there’s a problem in Iraq, troops are over there lickidy-split but when a crisis happens here in America, it takes FOREVER to get help to them? Thumbs up to you president Bush…oh wait, that’s not my thumb^_~

I’ve had lots of time to be with my friends lately which has been nice. I bought the Jak3 game for only $14.99 at Circuit City!! It’s now $19.99 but I guess CC was having a sale. GO BARGAINS!! I’ve also gotten quite a bit of work done on my new Inuyasha/Kagome drawing. Kagome’s all done and I just have to finish Inuyasha’s kimono and necklace and then do the background. Oh, I have to mention this, while shopping with my pals, I hear this lady near us say this: “I ain’t got nuttin’ I no wanna do.” *smacks forehead as sirens go off* Grammar Police! Grammar Police!! Oh man, I think a few of my brain cells committed suicide upon hearing that. Man, learn to speak English people!!

Quote of the Day comes from one of the BEST shows EVER…Mystery Science Theater 3000:
Crow: “Yes, your gigs! Your music! Which if you nurture in these coming years could bring meaning and solace to millions. What’s your band’s name again?”
Mike: “Sex Factory.”

I had told my parents about the sign that I talked about in my last post and they had seen the same sign. I had to take the drawing down to the lady and I made sure and bring the camera so I could take a picture of it but alas, the sign had been fixed. *pouts* And I was right, they meant to says “Deer Cut-Up and Wrapped’ they still had ‘wrapped’ spelled wrong though. It was spelled ‘wraped.’ Phooey, I was really hoping to show it to you guys and even submit it to some funny signs websites. Ah well, it will forever be in my memory of amusement^_^

I went to Friendly’s Monday with some pals. I had the Reese’s Pieces Sundae but with CHOCOLATE ice cream instead of vanilla. Boy-howdy was it orgasmic. At one point in in our conversations we mentioned a second-hand store but when I said it, it came out “second sand whore.” Haha! I didn’t mean to say that it just…came out! And of course, having all my friends being male, they thought it was a hoot and didn’t let me forget about it for the rest of the night. Feh! I think it’s funny that in my early high school years all my friends were girls and then as the years progressed, I befriended more boys and now all but 3 of my friends are guys! When did this happen?! When I commented about it the guys said it was because I must not have reached “babehood” until then. *snicker* Is that not a totally early 90’s thing to say? Reminds me of the early Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. TUBULAR!!

This gif has been highly requested to have a comeback. Some may remember this but it’s still amusing whether you’ve seen Lord of the Rings or not. And if you’re on dial-up it takes a couple minutes to properly play but I’m on dial-up too so I’m telling you, it’s totally worth it. So, for your viewing pleasure, here it is once again, “Mortor:”

Well, I got the drawing done and here it be:

You can see the bigger version of it on my DeviantArt account. I’m going to be giving it to the lady this afternoon. I hope she appreciates the fact I had no life at all this weekend so I could get this done for her. Feh! But now I’ll be able to work on my Inuyasha/Kagome drawing.

I saw the funniest thing Sunday afternoon. I was driving home from town after picking up Chinese and I saw this sign in front of someone’s yard and you know those forwards that some of you may have gotten in e-mails that say, ‘You know you live in “enter state here” when…’? Well, this would go into the category of, ‘You know you’re in upstate NY when…’ and you want to know what the sign said? Here it is: “Deer Cut-Up and Raped Call 687-….” LOL!!! I’m pretty sure they meant to write, “Deer Cut-Up and WRAPPED.” Hahaha!! Oh man, I wish I had a camera I was dying. *wipes tears*

Have any of your guys read that fantasy book called ‘Eragon’? I read this book last summer and it was fantastic. And it’s written by an 18 year old!!!! And I just recently got the next book to the trilogy called ‘Eldest’ and I can’t WAIT to read it. I’m in the middle of another book though so I have to finish that first. Man, life’s tough. But I highly recommend these books especially if you like fantasy like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. And I saw JakIII is finally only $19.99!! I LOVE the Jak and Daxter video games. They’re so freakin’ great and I’ve been waiting for this to reach that price so now I’m going to pick it up this week. Me-so excited.

Quote of the Day comes from the show ‘Seinfeld:’
“You should have seen the look on her face. It was the exact same look my father gave when I told him I wanted to be a ventriloquist.”
-George Costanza
Haha! Can’t you totally picture that look? Heehee!

So ALL summer long this one lady at work has mentioned she wanted me to do a drawing of her son and dog but later on she didn’t mention it so I figured she didn’t want it anymore or had forgotten. This last Wednesday rolls around and she FINALLY brings in the pictures she wants me to use and she says she would like them by Tuesday. C’mon! She had ALL summer long to have me do this and she literally waits till the last minute. Feh! So, I worked my butt off today…er Saturday to get this thing moving and this is what I have so far:

And yes, that mole is supposed to be there^_~ So yeah, there’s an example of the photorealism work that I do for those who have never seen them. If you want to see more of them you can click on the “website” thingy ma-whooey in my side bar and it’ll take you there. Photorealism was the only thing I had done until October when I started on anime. Whee doggy, good times. And the drawing obviously isn’t done. I have to finish his shirt up and then add the dog in on the other side of him. I’ll show you guys the finished piece when I’m done with it.

Allright, I tried to watch the Inuyasha movie that was playing on Cartoon Network and I’m sorry, I had to turn it off. Those English dubs are just soooooo bad. Why did they choose 2 people who can’t act to be the leading characters of Inuyasha and Kagome? Kagome’s voice…argh, I’d rather listen to nails down a chalkboard. And I want to sit the voice actor down of Inuyasha and let him know how he’s supposed to pronounce Kagome’s name. He says it like “Kaw-gow-meee” It’s pronounced, “Ka-go-meh.” Nice and fast. And I heard Naruto is coming to Toonami? *shudder* After seeing what they did to Rurouni Kenshin, I’m scared for Naruto. They edited SO much out of Kenshin it was painful. Kenshin is one of the bloodiest animes I know of too. And Naruto is a bloody anime so I’m curious what they plan to do? They really should have put Naruto on Adult Swim rather then Toonami. Ah well, I need to stop complaining after all, I do already own them on DVD. *smacks forehead*

And I’m glad you guys like the smart-ass Legolas-ism from yesterday. Yes, he’s a smarty pants alright. And look, here’s another one that comes from the Extended Edition of the Two Towers:
Legolas: “Final count, 42.”
Gimli: *sitting on a dead Uruk-hai* “42? Well, that’s not bad for a pointy-eared Elvish princeling. I am sitting pretty on 43.”
Legolas: *shoots arrow between Gimli’s legs hitting the Uruk-hai he’s sitting on* “43!”
Gimli: “He was already dead!”
Legolas: “He was twitching.”
Gimli: “He was twitching…because he’s got my axe imbedded in his nervous system!!!”

WHEEEE!! I’m free!!! Time to SLEEP!! I’m so excited. Sleep is something I haven’t had much of all summer long. It was sad saying goodbye to everyone at work, they all gave me hugs and gave me a card and made a cake. It was sweet. And I did get back at the guy who scared me awhile ago!! You ready for how I did it? I bet you are!!
Heehee! So, when we are working on certain machines at work, there’s this one that involves the person opening up this tray and removing core circuits from it and when you remove the cores, you can see through the glass onto the floor below you. This is just something you don’t really notice after awhile since it’s something you always see. So, while this guy, whose nickname is Bluto but his real name is Bill, was taking out these cores, I slid underneath the tray and waited till he removed the next one. So when he removed that last core, instead of seeing the floor he saw my face right by the glass and I yelled “BAH!!!!” Oh man, if only you could have seen his reaction!! He SCREECHED and leapt back going “oh god! Oh god! Oh god!!!” And the best way to describe his screech was borderline girly. Oh man, I had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so hard and everyone around us was dying as well and Bluto was just going “Yeah, yeah, laugh it up.” Heehee! It was grand. Like I said before, revenge is sweet.

I got a new Inuyasha animation cel in the mail today!! WOHOO! I got it off e-bay and I now own 2 Inuyasha cels and one Fruits Basket one. It’s so cool to know that you own a piece of those animes that millions of people have seen. I just need to find the episode this cel comes from. I already found the scenes the other 2 came from. The other Inuyasha one comes from the scene when Kagome is sick and Inuyasha makes her that “home brewed tea” to make her feel better and it’s right after when Kagome says thank you to him and he’s all blushy and saying “don’t worry about it.” And my Fruits Basket cel is of Yuki *grins* and it’s with the episode when Tohru’s pals come to the Sohma’s house and they keep transforming with all the girls around them and it’s right at a part where Yuki is buttoning up his shirt again. My new cel shows Inuyasha with Tetsaiga and he's in the middle of a swing…yeah, it may be hard to find that scene. Maybe I’ll scan it and post it tomorrow and maybe some of you may know.

Quote of the Day comes from my all-time fave movie…Lord of the Rings!!
Gimli: *jumping up and down to see over a wall* "What's happening out there?"
Legolas: "Shall I describe it to you?....Or would you like me to find you a box?"
Heehee! Legolas is such a smart-ass…he’s a much bigger smart-ass in the books though and for those crazy people who haven't seen this amazing movie, Gimli is a dwarf, Legolas an elf, so the height difference is always something to be amused by^_^

Today’s my last day of work!! WOHOO!! I’ll finally have a summer vacation!! Well, for a week or 2 anyway. Man, I’ve worked my butt of ALL summer so it’ll be nice to finally be able to enjoy myself for awhile. However, the money I earned is very nice. I’ve saved up a few thousand which will be helpful when I move back to NYC. I’ll really miss the people at work though. I became really close to them. And remember the guy who had scared the crap out of me a few weeks ago? Yeah, today I am SO getting even! I’ll let you guys know Saturday how that went…heehee! I got a few tricks up my sleeve.

And thankies for all the compliments with my Inuyasha/Kagome line-art! Those who haven’t seen it can see it displayed in my last post. I think everyone enjoys lovey dovey scenes with those two since they don’t show affection to each other all that often. Haha! And it always amuses and flatters me how ga-ga you guys go over the hands. Well, I’m glad you like the hands I draw. It took a LONG time and LOTS of practice before I got those down. That’s the way to learn them though…practice! Any person who says they could draw hands from the get-go is full of poo. They are hard no doubt about it but when doing your own drawings, do NOT ignore the hands!! Hands are SO important in conveying moods or showing emotion in scenes. My illustration teacher used to call us out if he noticed that someone was avoiding drawing hands…you know, putting the hands behind the back, in the pockets, having the sleeves too long and now I notice that stuff too. *snicker* But just watch someone when they talk or watch a cartoon like Looney Tunes or the Simpsons, their hands are all over the place! It’s a neat way to realize how much people use hands when talking^_^

I got a new cell phone yesterday. Not that big a deal since I’ve had a cell phone since I was shipped out to college but now we have a family shared plan. My new phone is nice though! It’s pretty and silver and black and it can take pictures and transport me through time, you know, the usual. But I forgot I had made this caption till surfing through my images and in honor of my new Verizon Wireless plan, here’s my Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children tribute once again:

Heehee! Seems like you guys enjoyed my night at the movies story. Yeah, we’re such bad-asses. My pals are still going on about the pirate at Denny’s. “Ah, eggs over Myhammy, excellent choice me hearty. And ‘ye better be leaving me a fine tip or it’s a walk on the plank with ‘ye. Arrrrr.” And for those who have seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and even those who didn’t, Christopher Lee is the guy who plays Willy Wonka’s father and I’m sure some recognized him as the same guy who played Saruman the Wizard in Lord of the Rings. So, during the scene when Willy’s dad is lecturing to him about candy and such…just imagine Saruman lecturing Gandalf about candy. LOL!! It is HILARIOUS!! “Now what do we have here, Gandalf?....Caramel? Lollipops? Cavities on a stick! I have not raised you to you have a mouth of an Orc.” Oh man, my friends can go on and on with that. It’s quite amusing.

And I started a new drawing. Which you can see down below:

I haven’t done an Inuyasha drawing in quite some time and it was Inuyasha’s fault that I got into anime in the first place. But yeah, I did it in my own style again and I’m still thinking about what I’m going to do for the background. Probably a woodsy area since…you know, they’re always wandering the woods. I didn’t upload into my gallery but I still put my name on it since last time I simply plopped a work-in-progress on my site, it was still stolen. Remember the Dark and Daisuke drawing? Feh! Peeves me off since they came straight onto my turf and swiped it! That turd-burglar. But anywho, this WILL be colored and completed.

Quote of the day comes from ‘Home Movies:’
Melissa: “I like visiting my grandpa in the nursing home. I mean, he’s really old but he’s really nice.”
Brendan: “For your own sake, don’t go because it’s not healthy for you to be hanging around with old people because, you know, you could catch an old person’s disease and suddenly become old.”
Melissa: “Brendan, that’s a myth. You’d like my grandfather he’s a great storyteller. You know Titanic?”
Brendan: “Yeah! Of course I do.”
Melissa: “He saw the ORIGINAL movie.”
Heehee!! And did you know ‘Home Movies’ is almost all add-libbed! So subtle and great.

I had a great day Saturday! We went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…again. And here’s where it gets funny…So, we saw the movie and walked out of the theater and see it’s playing at the theater right across from the one we just saw it at. So we sorta looked both ways and sneaked right into the next theater! Haha! I know, it’s wrong but hey! Movies are expensive! And here’s where it gets even funnier! Before the movie started again we realized how hungry we were so my friend Jonesy and I went to the garbage and you know those HUGE tubs of popcorn and soda combo you can buy for like $11 that comes with free refills? Heehee…yeah, you can guess where this is going…we picked out 2 tubs of those popcorn containers from the garbage and got them refilled! Haha! I know, you may think it’s disgusting but we really didn’t care…and the tubs were at the very top of the garbage. My poor friend Jonesy though had picked out a cup to get soda refilled into it and I drew the line at drinking out of someone else’s straw and drink since people backwash! But he started drinking out of it when we went to get it refilled to make it appear like he had bought it. So when we got to the front of the line the lady goes, “sorry, that’s not the right size to get refilled.” Hahaha!! His face was just like…”hmmm, well doesn’t that suck.”

So after we went to the movies we went to Denny’s and my friend commented on how the waitress walked with a slight limp. And then my other friend commented on how he bet she had a wooden leg. Which led to the topic on how funny it would be if a pirate worked at Denny’s. Haha!! Just imagine that! Oh man, those boys went on and on with their impressions on what a pirate would say as a waiter and how his parrot would go around cawing “cheapskate! Cheapskate!” if a bad tip was left. My one friend Gavin is SO good at impressions too. He can sound like anyone! I have a life-size cut-out of Legolas and Gimli (I know I’m such a Lord of the Rings nerd^_~) and he used to make them talk back and forth to each other! He sounds EXACTLY like them too! Oh man, he would have me on the floor with laughter with the things he’d make them say to one another.

And I think I’m going to start ending my posts with funny quotes since…who doesn’t like to laugh?!
This one comes from Napoleon Dynamite…I’m sorry I love the things said in this movie:
Terry: “Hey Napoleon, what did you do last summer again?”
Napoleon: “I told you, I was up in Alaska with my uncle hunting wolverines.”
Terry: “Did you shoot any?”
Napoleon: “Yes, like, 50 of them! They were after me and my cousins what would you do in a situation like that?”
Terry: “What did you use to shoot them with?”
Napoleon: “A freakin’ 12 gage, what do you think?!”

Wow guys, thanks so much for all your support. I can’t tell you much it means to me to have people like you who are there to help me when I’m down. I consider all of you true friends and I love you all! *hands out tissues*

And I have decided not to remove 2 of the 3 images that were accused of being traced. So many of you left comments and PMed me like no tomorrow basically begging me not to remove them. Instead, I decided that I’m going to re-word my artist comment under the drawing to make it clear that I used a picture reference. I may be accused of tracing in the future once again but all you know and I know that it’s un-true and whatever happens, happens and I hope that the amazing moderators of this site still take my word over the accusers. And also, I got a message from one of the moderators letting me know that some of you guys did find out the accusers name and went to her site and left some “words” to her. I hadn’t realized she had left comments on the drawings and I also had no idea that I have the ability to delete comments too. I guess because I’m a “Senior Artist?” But regardless, I deleted her comments there as well and although I truly am grateful to those who stuck up for me, I would prefer if people NOT go to her site and say anything more to her. I was trying to prevent this in the first place since doing that will only make her angrier and most likely, she’ll work harder to get me banned from this site in any way possible. But again, thanks to those who went out of their way to help me. I just want to forget any of this happened and want things to go back to normal for me on this site. I quote Pumbaa from the Lion King: “You gotta put your behind in your past.”^_~

And thanks for all your kind words about my dog, Freddie. She is still alive and she’ll be totally normal and then suddenly be worse. We bought her pills that are insanely expensive to help her possibly fight this tumor even longer. We don’t care about the money though. Any extra day she’s with us is all we need to be thankful. She’s a fighter with a lot of spirit and she’s still her lovable self and I’m still the sucker who will do anything for her so…everyone’s happy. Even the vet said to us that he’s never, in his 28 years experience, seen a Doberman pincher live to be 14. Average life of a Doberman is 7-8. So, I’m happy that she’s been with us for this long and will forever remember her as a part of this family.

Hmmm, I don’t want to end my posts being sad because I prefer not to pass sadness onto others so…here’s a funny quote that comes from one of the best comedies of ALL time…Airplane!
Striker: “Surely you can’t be serious.”
Doctor: “I am serious…and don’t call me Shirley.”

Hey everyone, well some of you have probably heard about this, some not, but my Otaku account had been frozen and all my drawings deleted the other day and yesterday. Why you ask? Because someone turned me in for plagiarism!!! They accused me of tracing 3 of my drawings!! If only I could express how hurt, distraught, and then angry I was about this. The accuser left this awful Guestbook entry going on and on about what an embarrassment I am to artist like her and how I was “Busted.” I then check my PM’s and see that they had frozen my account. But I had a nice message from a moderator basically asking me my side of things. I told them that, like many artists, I used images done by the pro’s to help teach me how to draw anime because before I joined this site in October, I had never drawn any. I told him I used grid drawing when first learning to truly map out how things work in the faces, eyes, body, hands, etc. So the result of those images is a near perfect recreation of the original! No biggie, many people do it. But this person who turned me in is just plain…mean! On her site she’s going on and on about what a horrible artist I am and how she can’t believe I won the Best Fanart Award on Sesslover18’s contest. I’m not going to use her name on my post and I already deleted her GB entry. Although I’m sure you guys would stick up for me, I don’t need to get this person more ticked off.

Well, thank goodness, the moderator took my word over hers and un-froze everything. But this accuser goes on and on about my “tracing” and it’s only THREE drawings she’s complaining about!! She doesn’t say anything about all the others which are obviously not traced. She doesn’t listen when I say that I was LEARNING!! I had never drawn anime before!! I drew only photorealism! I would draw from an official piece then try my own. Like I told her, if I had a dollar for every person on this site who re-drew an official drawing, I’d never have to work another day in my life! It’s how people LEARN!! When people ask me for pointers when first drawing, I tell them, learn from the pros! How else does one learn how to draw? By practicing!! And how the heck can you trace through Bristol board?!?! This stuff is THICK!! I mean…it’s NOT possible! Oh man, I’m just so upset you have no idea. Although the moderator said that I could leave the drawings up, I will delete them. Not just because of this accuser but in case more like her come around the bend. So today is the last day my drawing of “Ed from FullMetal Alchemist,” “Kirara with Young Sango and Kohaku,” and “Inuyasha And Sesshoumaru” will be seen on this site. Oh but you better believe they are still on my Deviant Art account!
Although I’m sure she’ll be all over those ones too. I know she’s been there since she said that she didn’t believe that the photorealism drawings were mine either. Yep, too bad I had made a tutorial showing step-by-step how I draw photorealism so there’s goes her accusation too. I mean, it’s one thing to re-draw something done by a fellow fan artist but to re-draw something mass produced and sent out by the companies is something else. People do it ALL the time yet she decided to point the finger at me. Look at my new artworks…obviously, doing those drawings has taught me something and now they are all my own and I no longer need to rely on the pro’s pieces so please, just leave me alone and let me be.

Sorry, the post is so long. As you can imagine, I’m very upset as an artist as well as I was scared that I wasn’t going to be able to chat with you guys again. Plus, I’m very upset because my Doberman pincher dog named Freddie, who’s 14 years old isn’t doing very well. She keeps having these weird spells where she basically collapses and can’t get up or lift her head or anything. We took her to the vet Monday and he says she has a tumor on her spleen that will randomly bleed and make this happen. She’s too old for surgery and the vet says it doesn’t cause her pain so to just let her go. It may be corny to say, but Freddie is a family member in this household…she’s 14. She’s been around longer then some of you. The bond I have with her is over-whelming and when these spells happen, I’ll lay on the floor beside her and pet her because it hurts me so to see her like this. Up till now, she’s acted like a puppy and I don’t know what I’m going to do when I come home and she’s no longer there. Or when I eat her face isn’t 2” from my plate. Or when I go swimming not having her constantly drop her toys in the pool because she knows I’ll dive for them and throw them for her. Or when I lay on the floor not having her lay beside me and rest her head on my lap….sorry, I need to stop. I’m getting quite upset. These past couple days have over-whelmed me.
