Hey, like the new theme? I still love Fruits Basket but I’ve had that theme for about 2 months now so I thought it was time for a change. Besides, Inuyasha was my introduction to anime plus the only anime I watched for 3 years so it will always have a special place in my heart^_^

My best friend and I went up to Syracuse to the Carousel Mall. This mall is wonderful because it’s 6 stories. Well, 3 stories…the other 3 are all movie theaters! It’s also called the Carousel Mall because there’s a carousel in it. How cute. I went crazy in Hot Topic and bought the new Sango and Miroku toys. I already have all the others so I NEEDED them^_~ I really like the Miroku one. He looks so…actioney! He totally looks like he’s in the middle of saying “KAZAANA!!” Which in English would be “Wind Tunnel.” And I bought an Inuyasha messenger bag. You know in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, those HUGE goggles they wear when they’re with Mike Teavee in that white room? My friend bought those! They sell them at Hot Topic and he walked around the mall for the rest of the day with them on. Heehee! It was amusing seeing people’s faces. We also went into JC Penny’s and we walked past the beds and there was this one that was green with all silk leopard spot sheets and my friend says, “If Legolas had a bed, that would be it.” Haha!! I can totally see Legolas in a green, leopard silk bed. He would be such a pampered elf…well, he is the prince afterall^_~

Quote of the Day comes from ‘Animaniacs:
*This episode was a parody of old-fashion detective stories*
Yakko: *to Hello Nurse* “Tell me your story, sister.”
Dot: “Well, it all began w-”
Yakko: “Not you. *points to Hello Nurse* “Her.”
Dot: “You said ‘sister!’”
Yakko: “All he-man detectives called women sister in the politically unaware decades proceeding women’s liberation.”

Haha! I love the random facts Yakko would spill out…educational AND amusing^_^

Sheesh! By the sounds of it I may have to establish security around my Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children DVD. Well, like I said, I haven’t gotten it yet in the mail. It should be here this weekend and of course I’ll let you guys know how it is but I wont spoil anything. And yes, it is in Japanese and it’s the Japanese released version but it does have subtitles and it’s a DVD so it plays in any DVD player. Since they pushed back the American released one till who freakin’ knows when and I can’t wait that long plus, I‘d would rather here the original voices anyway. I can’t wait to watch it! Oh and it cost me a total of $18 off e-bay and that’s including shipping charges…I’m a good shopper^_^

Anywho, I have a question I would like to ask those Naruto/Sasuke fans out there...well, really anyone but this is what I have done of my Sasuke drawing so far:

My question is when it comes to the coloring of his eyes. I originally was going to have them black like they normally are but looking more-so at his pose and expression, I wasn’t sure if maybe giving him his red eyes may be good. So, what do you guys think? Black eyes or red eyes? I would appreciate any suggestions^_^

Quote of the Day comes from the Inuyasha special, ‘The Woman Who Loved Sesshoumaru:’
Kagome: “Ah, it would be good to take a swim.”
Inuyasha: “We didn’t come here to play, you know.”
Kagome: “Nevermind that, we can relax now and again.”
Inuyasha: “Relax now and again? What do you need to relax for?”
Kagome: “Hmph, well we should enjoy ourselves! *runs over and picks up a stick* “Hey Inuyasha!! *throws it* “Go FETCH!!”
Inuyasha: *jumps up* “Ok!!” *runs to it, squats down to pick it up with his mouth and then stops...* “Grrrrrr….DON’T TREAT ME LIKE A DOG!!”

I made 4 Sasuke gifs so…yeah, you’re going to be seeing more of him whether you want to or not^_~ The other ones I made are from the fight scenes though. Whee! And for those who asked what Naruto was saying in his voice clip yesterday, basically, he was introducing himself. He was saying his name and describing that he was a ninja and what rank he is, blah blah blah. It comes from an episode where they were re-capping what had already happened in the show.

I bought Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children off e-bay today!! I can’t wait to watch it!! The seller is a fast shipper too so I should have it later this week. I’m looking forward to seeing the character Kadaj the most. This is him:

Reading about his personality makes him sound like such an interesting character. From what I read, he’s pretty darn evil and deadly but he acts childish at the same time. What a cool mix! Plus, it says that throughout the movie he’s trying to find his ‘mother.’ Too bad he was created genetically via test tubes so that doesn’t work out too well. GAH!!! My cat just rubbed against my leg and scared the schnikeez out of me!! That sneaky neko. Usually he announces his entrances by meowing. *pets him* Ah there we go, now he’s purring like a lawn mower…he purrs loud^_^ Anywho, I started a new drawing of Sasuke! I’ll have it done…someday. I kept making dates for the Inu/Kagome drawing and never had it done on time so no more of the dates thing.

Quote of the Day is one I’ve used before as the quote of the week but I ADORE it so much that I’m putting it up again:
Rin: “Sesshoumaru-sama?”
Sesshoumaru: “Yes, what is it?”
Rin: “Someday when I die…will you promise not to forget me?”
Sesshoumaru: *gasps and looks away* “Don’t be foolish.”

SCREECH!!! I LOVE IT! That comes from episode 162^_^

Haha! Some of the answers and comments I received from my quote of the day yesterday were hilarious! I especially enjoyed the males comments to it. My fave answer was “very carefully.” That amused me^_~

Well, lots of you liked the idea of me making a voice clip of Naruto’s original voice and I aim to please so here it be! So yes, this is Naruto’s Japanese voice and you’re first going to hear a little kid talking and he’s asking Naruto to introduce himself and then you’ll hear Naruto after that. You’ll be able to hear how he pronounces his own name too since loads of you said he doesn’t sound like he’s pronouncing his name correctly. Anywho, just push stop on the audio in my profile to shut the music off and then push play here:
"

Like always though, you need Windows Media Player to hear it and it’s a free program so if you don’t have it, you should get it! I also made clips of Sasuke’s voice and Sakura’s as well so I’ll probably add those soon too once you guys meet those characters more.

So what did everyone do today? I watched more Naruto^_^ I’m on episode 30 something now after Sasuke gets…how do I say this without spoiling it…bitten and then…POWERFUL! Yeah, there we go. I think I want to make some animated gifs of the fight scene with Sasuke and Orichamaru because that sequence was flippin’ amazing and the animation was awesome! I also played Jak3 and that game is so fun! Yes, easier then the 2nd one but still fun. I think Jak’s voice is sexylicious!

Quote of the Day comes from Saturday Night Live:
*And now Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey*
“If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you’ll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey free dummy.”

So many people said they haven’t heard the Naruto characters original voices…would you guys like to hear them? I wouldn’t mind ripping some audio off my Naruto DVD’s so you can hear them. I’ve done that before with Kenshin, FMA and Inuyasha so doing some Naruto voices wouldn’t be a problem. Perhaps just putting up Naruto’s voice though since some of you mentioned you haven’t really met the other characters yet. Maybe tomorrow I’ll post some so you can hear them^_^

Well, today I went shopping with a pal of mine and I actually found a pair of pants that fit me!! Holy poop!! I have the hardest time finding pants because I’m really tall and really skinny so it’s near impossible to find the right size. They think the taller we get the fatter we get. Feh! My pants are usually too short but I found pants at Delia’s that sell pants for super tall people!! WHEEE!! I know my shorter friends complain they can’t find pants that are short enough for them. *snicker* Life is tough, isn’t it? Anyone else have pants problems? And while in the car we got into the discussion on how Legolas runs in the movies and how his upper body doesn’t move and for some reason my friend says, “It’s like River Dance on wheels…only…not on wheels.” Ha! It made NO sense and I think I gave him the perfect face of ‘WTF?’ so he tries to figure out why that phrase works and the more he went on about it, the more ridiculous it became. Finally, he just goes…”ah hell, it’s nothing like River Dance on wheels.” I don’t know why I shared that story…

Quote of the Day comes from Seinfeld:
George: “Elaine, do women know about shrinkage?”
Elaine: “What, like laundry?”
Jerry: “No…when a man goes into the water…afterwards….”
Elaine: *gasps* It shrinks?!”
Jerry: “Like a frightened turtle.”
Elaine: *all flabbergasted* “Why does it shrink?”
George: “It just does…”
Elaine: “I don’t know how you guys walk around with those things.”
Heehee! Classic…and for those who don’t know what they’re talking about I am NOT going to describe it. But I really do wonder how you guys walk around with those…^_~

Whelp, I did go scuba diving Sunday which was fun. Before the dive we were told of all the stories of Seneca Lake. This lake is 38 miles long and 3 miles wide and it’s one of the deepest lakes in the world. Along with that, many people have disappeared while swimming or boating there and very few bodies are ever recovered. So of course they were trying to scare us and saying how we may find a body floating by. Bah! We didn’t see one which I’m quite glad about. We then went on a boat that can go 93 miles an hour!! We reached 90 on our run but holy crap...I thought my contacts were going to whip out of my eyes! It was a blast though. The whole weekend was so nice and relaxing and I had a great time.

I’ve heard that some people like the dubs of Naruto…except of Naruto himself. Yes, I can see them making his voice a total annoyance. The character is a tad annoying but it’s not a good thing they decided to heighten that with an equally annoying voice. I think I confused some people…I have the 1st 101 episodes on DVD so I HAVE seen Naruto before. I’ve just never seen the English dubs and was wondering how they’d be. Sasuke is my fave character^_^ His whole personality is so…neat! He’s the quiet, deadly type which some chicks are drawn too. Bad boy image all the way!

So is everyone all excited for the Naruto premiere tonight? I wanted to watch it to see what the English dubs will be like as well as what kind of stuff they’re editing but I wont be home. *sniff* I watched a bunch of Naruto today though off my DVD’s. I watched about 10 episodes…like I said in the past, Naruto is one of those animes where you intend to just watch one episode and then it sucks you in and you can’t stop. I’m at the part at the big Cooharikan or however the heck you spell it Competition. Very exciting and it’s funny seeing how all the female competitors cast one glance at Sasuke and are all twiterpated and say how cute he is. *snicker* He doesn’t give a crap either which is pretty amusing.

I wont be home for the next couple days because my dad and I are going scuba diving at Seneca Lake. Yes, I am a certified scuba diver. Some of you may remember when I mentioned that a few months ago but I am. My dad is now a diving instructor and teaches that for fun. We’re staying in a nice cottage home and we’ll be diving some wrecks which is pretty cool. My fave wreck was a giant oil tanker that sank in the St. Lawrence right around the same time as the Titanic. My best diving experience was Bonaire which is a small island near Venezuela. So amazing and I got bit by a yellow-tailed snapper! Stung since it was in salt water^_~

Quote of the Day comes from Mystery Science Theater 3000:

Brain Guy: “You know Pearl, it may be good of you to re-evaluate the experiment itself. As a wise old observer once said, ‘to constantly repeat the same action and expect a variant reaction is surely a sense of madness.’”
Pearl: *punches him in the face* “Then why do you keep mouthing off to me? You get the same reaction every time.”
For those who watch the Naruto premiere, let me know how the voices are and which characters you think are your fave! I know with this anime, it’s pretty easy to tell which character you will enjoy the most…like Fruits Basket!

*snicker* Boy, I’m gone for a few days and I get like, 10 PM’s wondering if I’m dead. No, I’m not. Maybe if I’m gone for a month with no word from me then maybe it’s time to worry but a few days? Naw. I do appreciate your concerns though^_^

I was gone for the past few days because I was back in New York City looking at apartments with a friend of mine because this past year we’ve been planning on getting an apartment together. We both just graduated from the same college in NYC in May and I’ve been ready to start a life for myself. But when we get down there, she starts FREAKING out and then at the end of our 2nd day of hunting, she decided she can’t handle it and isn’t ready to go out into the “real world.” This is obviously VERY stressing for me seeing as how I was planning on moving back to the city and begin a life for myself. Now, I’m back in small town upstate NY and have to start ALL my plans from scratch. *grumbles* And then we got lost driving home from the city and driving in the city isn’t all that bad as long as you pay attention but we missed an exit and ended up in the middle of New Jersey somewhere for an 1 and a ½. Not to be mean to any of you NJ people out there, but your drivers are total a-holes.

On a brighter side, thanks for all your compliments about my new Inuyasha/Kagome drawing! I appreciate it and I’m glad that you guys kept mentioning the background. Yeah, acrylic paints are hard because they dry so fast and once they dry, it turns to plastic which makes it hard to blend so I water them down a lot. And I’m happy that it seems I made a lot of new friends through this drawing! Welcome new friends!! Have a cookie. And I suppose my old chums may have a cookie as well^_~ Oh and I beat Jak2! Since I’m going to be home awhile longer I guess I can start Jak3. Whee.

Quote of the Day is another Legolas smartass-ism but this one comes from the book and like me, he doesn’t like smoking:

“Time wears on, and the mists are blowing away…or would if you strange folk did not wreath yourselves in smoke.”

I finally got the drawing done. Sorry that I took so long. I really thought I’d have it done sooner but I obviously didn’t. I’m such a looser^_~ I had it done by like, 3pm or so yesterday so some of you have already seen it. Nothing much to say about it except yes, I purposely made Kagome’s hair as well as Inuyasha’s kimono super shiny. Why? So that way, they both pop out without one being lost over the other…especially since Inuyasha’s kimono is red and people should know that red is one of the most eye-catching colors out there and it would be really easy for Kagome to be lost in the piece. And the background was done in acrylic paint since it was faster and I think it gives a pretty cool contrast to the colored pencil characters.
Anywho, here’s the cropped, sample image of the drawing so you have to click it to see the FULL-SIZER!! Heehee!

Please comment and vote? *puppy eyes* I'll make you pie.

So, how was everyone’s day? I did something that I haven’t done all summer…I played a video game!! *snicker* You know how I was all excited that the game Jak3 was now $19.99? Well, I had forgotten that I had never beat Jak2!! Ha! I was like…wait, did I finish this game? Nope! I had to check the mirror to make sure no blonde was growing in. And then when I popped in the game, my PS2 informed me there was no memory card in it so I had to rummage through my games to find which box I had put it in. And this made me realize that I hadn’t played my PS2 ALL summer and everything was still where it was when I had unpacked after I moved out of the dorms in May! Man! I’m like 85% done with Jak2 though so it wont take me long to finish. Speaking of games, did you guys hear they pushed back the new Legend of Zelda game for Gamecube from November to March!!! AH! Why Nintendo, why? *wheeps*

Quote of the Day comes from Saturday Night Live:
*And now ‘Deep Thoughts’ by Jack Handey*
“I guess of all my uncles I liked Uncle Cave Man the best. We called him Uncle Cave Man because he lived in a cave and because sometimes he’d eat one of us. Later on we found out he was a bear.”

I was hoping to have my Inuyasha/Kagome drawing done by tonight’s(Sunday’s) post but alas, I was away all day…heehee, that totally rhymed. I’m a poet and didn’t even know it! *ducks rotten veggies thrown at me in all directions* But I’ll have it done by Sunday afternoonish time so some of you later commenters may see it. I don’t want to jinx myself yet but I’m extremely happy with the way this one is turning out. I just need to do the background which shouldn’t be long. I HATE COLORING INUYASHA’S KIMONO!!! *rips it off him* Whoa!! HELL-OOOO NURSE! *whistles* Ahem, sorry about that *flings shirt back to him*^_~

So I was awoken at 8:30am by my mom telling me we were going to my grandma’s house in 15 minutes! Sweet miserable crap did I rush to get ready since I had no idea we were going in the first place. So I get ready on time and my parents weren’t ready till an hour and a 1/2 later. Feh! I was peeved. I think I had the anime pissed icon flashing above my head the whole time I was waiting. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my grandma to death but every time I go to visit her lately, all she does is go on and on about how she saw these specials on Dr.Phil where these artist ended up living on the streets, selling drugs and whoring out their bodies to make money. And I’m like, yeah Grandma, that’s totally what I’m going to do. Psh! And she’s even more upset that I’m moving back to NYC soon to get an apartment and then a career and she wonders why I don’t get a job in the area where I’m living now and I’m like…there’s NO JOBS HERE!!! Argh. It bumms me to hear her go on about how I’m not going to get anywhere in life being an artist. Well, I’m just going to work harder to prove her wrong! Double Feh!!

Quote of the Day comes from…you know it! Animaniacs:
*looking up at the night sky*
Wakko: “Look at all those stars.”
Dot: “It makes me want to write poetry…or bake a ham I forget which.”
