Is Fruits Basket any good???!!!! Of COURSE it is! I'll give you a brief summary.
Tohru Honda--- an average girl, living in a tent. Her mom died, and she was staying with her grandfather when they had to have rennovations on the house. She didn't want to burden her friends, so she moved into a tent in what she thought was the wilderness. What she discovered was that she was living on the Sohmas' property. (One house, two people living in it-- Shigure, and (prince)Yuki, who went to her school). They let her move in, on one condition... THat she be their maid. (clean the house, cook) But when Kyo dropped in, she accidently ran into him, turning him into a cat. The sohma family has a curse.. select few get turned into the chinese zodiac when hugged by members of the opposite gendeer.
