~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a crowd of men, mostly Yamamaru bears, in the room, each with a dirty and malicious smile on his face. Okena looks down and sees a girl lying on the ground. Her clothes are torn and she has bruises on her face, but she stares up at them defiantly. Okena looks back to the crowd angrily and opens her mouth to say something. Before she gets a chance too, a blur flies over her head and the nearest Yamamaru clansman falls to the ground. Imaku stands between the girl and the crowd, sword drawn.
“Back off,” he growls, eyes flashing dangerously. The biggest of the crowd steps forward and the crowd gives a cheer. They’ve been cooped up for weeks and are itching for a fight.
“Look boy, these wenches are put her for our enjoyment. We got here first, so if you want the new human girl, you’ll just have to wait your turn,” he rumbles, smiling in mock understanding.
“Pick on someone who can fight back, bastard!” Imaku yells back. The bear, who is at least twice Imaku’s size, changes his expression from a smile to an angry grimace. He lunges forward with surprising speed, but Imaku steps off to the side. Then he cuts back inward and is standing behind the bear. He kicks him in the leg, bringing him to his knees and gently pokes the back of his neck with the sword tip. The crowd boos and jeers.
“Back down,” he orders quietly. The bear doesn’t respond, but instead picks up the girl by the head with one hand.
“Kanto! Kanto! Kanto!” chants the crowd. The bear, apparently named Kanto, turns around, using the girl as a human shield between himself and Imaku. Imaku’s eyes widen in horror.
“Suki!!” he screams. Kanto examines the girl with one eye closed.
“Clothes? Now this won’t do at all,” he says with a chuckle. Then he begins slowly removing what’s left of Suki’s torn shirt and jeans. She kicks and screams, but can’t do anything to stop him.
“Put Suki down you sick bastard!” Imaku screams desperately. Kanto only grins at him.
“Suki? That’s a nice name; though I think Rag doll suits her better,” he says, drawing a laugh from the crowd. He’s enjoying watching this pitiful new kid squirm. He is finished removing Suki’s outer clothes, and is moving on to the undergarments. Imaku can do nothing while Kanto has her in his grasp like that. Suki gives a scream as her underwear is slowly pealed off, and then begins to kick even harder, but it’s no use. Kanto then starts touching her. Suki’s eyes go blank and her body falls limp.
“Now that’s better,” says Kanto viciously, grinning. Imaku begins shaking with rage and hot tears well up in his eyes. The crowd sees this and laughs even harder. Suddenly he stops shaking and seems to go totally limp for just a fraction of a second.
“Put the girl down, Yamamaru scum,” he says in a voice entirely not his own. He looks up and his eyes are a pale, misty blue with no pupils. Okena sees this and snaps out of the daze she has been in. Suddenly, Kanto’s smile disappears as he begins to look worried and a hush falls over the crowd. He senses a different presence in the boy. Okena sees her opening and takes it. She throws three needles, hitting Kanto in the hand, elbow, and base of the neck. He drops Suki with a shout, and Imaku is instantly there, catching her limp body in his arms. His eyes return to normal and he seems dazed. Kanto gets up with a groan and prepares to attack the nearest body.
“Run, Kazemaru!” shouts Okena. Imaku shakes his head and looks around. Seeing a rampaging Kanto, he immediately takes off, loosing everyone in the confusion. As soon as he thinks it’s safe, he sets Suki down and begins removing his shirt. Suki is still stunned until Imaku hands her his shirt. She looks at it, then at Imaku, who is now removing his jeans, and then down at herself. She gives a bit of a shriek and covers her mouth. Then she looks at Imaku again as he hands her his jeans, but he won’t looks at her. Suki dresses herself silently. The clothes are a little big for her and she has to clutch them tightly to keep from exposing herself. As soon as she’s dressed, Imaku starts off down the hallway.
“Follow me,” he mumbles. She follows him silently, looking worriedly at him. He is slouching like she has never seen him do, and his tail is limp. She doesn’t know what to say to him. “It’s ok, you did your best”? No, that wouldn’t work. “It all worked out in the end anyway”? Definitely not. Both remain silent until Imaku stops walking.
“Here’s my room. Stay here and lock the door,” he orders without turning around.
“Where are you going?” Suki asks worriedly.
“To have a talk with Sanki,” he replies with a hint of anger in his voice. As he stalks off, Suki goes inside and locks the door. She goes over to the bed and simply sits for a moment in silence. As the full realization of what just happened sinks in, she breaks down and begins to cry.
chapter 5 part 1!
well, sorry i didnt visit sites today. we were rearranging the house a bit. we moved the computer from the computer room and into the lving room. my computer hours or going to have be reschedualed because my parents can nowe hear the constant clickity click click of the keyboard. i think they are asleep now tho. so yeah, last thing, i hate my little sister! she is such a little brat sometimes! but i cant stay mad at her. damn her little 9-yearold cuteness!! anyway, story time!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A young soldier, no more than sixteen or at most seventeen, of the Mizumaru clan nervously enters the chamber of the Elders. His ears are back and his eyes are wide, darting from place to place in a pitch black room. A spotlight shines down over him and he drops to one knee, not daring to look at the Elders. He has heard terrible rumors of both their power and their cruelty and he nearly wet himself when he was chosen as a messenger.
“M-my lords, Captain Okena has returned with Lord Kazemaru. She also brought two humans from Terra, a teenaged boy and girl,” he stammers. He flinches as he says that last part, there have been messengers killed over bad news before and he wishes to avoid that fate at all costs.
“Very well,” replies an ominous voice from the darkness. “Send us Lady Captain Okena.”
“Yes, lords,” the young man says timidly. Inside he breathes a sigh of relief. He half expected them to kill him at the news of humans coming. “Are there any further orders?” he asks.
“Yes,” says a smooth and crafty-sounding voice. “Take the boy and put him a standard room, escort Kazemaru to the room prepared for him, and take the girl to the women’s chambers. You may choose a reward from there if you wish,” it adds. The young man smiles inwardly at the promise of such a reward, but maintains a straight face and a gaze at the ground out of respect.
“Yes masters, thank you,” he says joyfully. He was glad not to get killed, but he never expected such a reward. A prize from the women’s chambers normally cost a soldier quite a bit in money, services, or rations.
“You may go now, Sanki,” says a third, gentler voice. Sanki gets up and leaves with a deep bow of gratitude and the spotlight turns off.

As they crest a hill, the four travelers see a metal fortress. It is only one story, but incredibly vast. It looks a bit like a spaceship.
“How in the hell did you guys make this?!” Kaji asks. He is totally stunned. The security shows that there is indeed some technology in this world, as does the design and construction of the building itself.
“Did you think that we were primitives just because we do not use guns as weapons?” Okena asks, raising an eyebrow. “Perhaps if you play your cards right, I can get you some videogames to keep you entertained,” she adds with a wry smile. Kaji’s face lights up. He looks like he could hug Okena then and there, but doesn’t. Imaku spots a runner from the fortress heading towards them.
“Sanki!” Okena calls with a wave. “I’d like you to meet my younger brother, Sanki,” she says to the group with another rare smile. Sanki doesn’t waste time with introductions.
“Sister, your presence is requested by the Elders immediately,” he says panting. Okena’s face turns somber.
“Very well,” she says officially. “I trust you will take good care of our young lord and his companions here,” she adds, patting Imaku on the back.
“Yes sister…er…captain,” he replies with a salute. Okena takes off down the trail. Sanki turns to Imaku, but suddenly, Suki catches his eye. He walks right past Imaku and begins to circle her like a shark.
“I know what my prize is!” he thinks to himself, reaching up from behind and placing a hand over Suki’s breast. She responds by elbowing him in the stomach. As he doubles over, she turns around with her hands on her hips and stomps on him.
“Pervert!” she shouts. She stalks off down the trail again and the two boys follow her, leaving Sanki to lie there.
“I’ll let her get broken in first…then she’s mine,” he thinks viciously. He then gets up and catches up to the other three to give a tour.

While Sanki is giving the tour of the base, his older sister is delivering her report to the Elders.
“You have done well, our little sparrow,” says the crafty voice. “You shall be rewarded when all is said and done, you can hold me too that.”
“Thank you my lords. I live to please the Elders,” Okena replies, standing coolly and confidently before them under the spotlight.
“You may go now and relieve your brother of his current task,” says the gentle voice.
“Yes. Thank you,” responds Okena formally. She then bows in respect and leaves the room. Next she goes to find her brother. She finds him coming from the direction of the Yamamaru clan barracks and looking thoroughly pleased with himself. He is alone.
“Where are our guests?” asks Okena. She already has a bad feeling about the answer.
“I showed them to their quarters as the Elders ordered. I gave the servant boy a standard room, I showed Kazemaru to the suite reserved for him, and I left the harlot in the women’s chambers,” Sanki replies with a satisfied smirk. Okena’s eyes widen and the hair on the back of her neck stands on end. She bares her cat’s fangs and her tail stands straight out as well.
“You fool! What have you done?!” she shouts furiously. Then she takes off down the hall toward the women’s chambers. She hears a scream and a deep uproarious laughter. As she burst into the room, she fears she is too late.

chapter 4 part 2!
ok, today i slept till two! normally i dont get past noon in this house! but it felt good ^__^ alot of my day was spent in the garage, watching my parent clean it, talking with them and helping when they had a specific task for me to do. i also played pool (billiards) with my dad. he won 2 out of 3. and i wrote my story! so now you get what you have been waiting for! STORY TIME!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So who were those guys?” Kaji asks, walking up behind Okena.
“I’ll explain when we get someplace safe,” she replies. “I need you too carry Lord Kazemaru till he wakes up.”
After what seemed like hours of walking in silence along a hidden trail, Kaji begins to tire. He looks up and sees that Okena and Suki are getting farther and farther ahead, so he sits down on the nearest rock, heaving an audible sigh. Okena’s trained ears pick up Kaji’s sigh and she turns around.
“Come, servant boy, try to keep up!” she calls with a taunting smile.
“You bitch,” mumbles Kaji under his breath, standing up. He suddenly takes off and sprints past the girls, then disappears around the bend in the trail. When they finally catch to him about twenty minutes later, they find him lying flat on his back and totally out of breath. Imaku, sitting cross-legged on one of the branches of a partially fallen tree, waves in greeting.
“Hey guys!” he calls. “What happened?”
“You passed out after dispatching two of the humans’ shadow warriors. Then Kaji carried you, ran ahead, and apparently used all his energy,” replies Okena. “It’s incredible he’s conscious already,” she adds to herself.
“So it wasn’t a nightmare,” Imaku mumbles, looking down. “Ok, spill it! What’s going on?” he adds out loud.
“Alright, as you know, we are in your home world of Giran and you are the heir to the Kazemaru clan. Likewise, I am the heir to the Mizumaru clan,” Okena explains.
“So then why are you treating my like a superior?” asks Imaku. “If we are both heirs to our clans, doesn’t that make us equals?”
“Not exactly. You are the current ruler of your clan, whereas I must wait for my older brother to either die or resign.”
“Makes sense, I guess. Kinda morbid though,” Imaku thinks to himself.
“There are four main clans and various people who belong to no clan or smaller clans. The main clans are the wolves of the sky, the Kazemaru clan; the cats of the sea, the Mizumaru clan; the bears of the earth, the Yamamaru clan, and the humans. The humans have no domain and have been nomads in Giran since the beginning of the worlds. When they rose to power, they all but wiped out the other three clans. Now we have joined together along with the allegiance of other groups that are like us to form a resistance and reclaim what is ours.”
“So where to I fit in?”
“I honestly do not know. The elders gave me orders and I followed them. They said you were a necessity.”
“Well what’s with this sword? How come I was able to cut that guy when he was so far away?”
“So many questions,” Okena thinks to herself. “The Tamasii Sword is an heirloom to your clan, passed down from lord to lord. The technique you used was called the Tamasii Kaze or Spirit Wind. It draws on the strength of one’s spirit and creates a tangible force; in this case, a blade. It takes intense training to master, yet you were able to use it your first try; four times in rapid succession none the less!” she adds out loud.
“So is that why I passed out like I did?”
“That is part of it. I think the other cause was that it was your first time drawing blood in a real battle before. But the way you fought proves that you really are Kurai’s son.”
“You know my father?!” shouts Imaku, leaping off of his branch with his eyes blazing.
“Knew. I knew your father.” Okena says, looking at the ground sadly. “He was the greatest man to ever walk Giran.
“How did he die?” asks Imaku, sitting back down again. Suki, who has been silent this whole time, looks at Imaku worriedly. She wonders how Imaku will respond when confronted with his past and if he’ll be alright. She knows that Imaku hasn’t been himself lately, but doesn’t quite know why. But for now she just sits in silence and listens. Okena doesn’t answer Imaku and looks away.
“You bitch!” shouts Kaji, apparently fully recovered. “You did that on purpose!”
“Well it worked didn’t it? You caught up right away,” Okena replies with a cold smile. “Besides, you got your rest, so what are you complaining for?” she adds. She gets up and stretches like a cat. “Let’s go, we’re three quarters of the way there. If we leave now and stop taking breaks, we can get there before dawn.”
“Cool! Let’s head out!” shouts Imaku, jumping from his perch and pointing down the trail dramatically. When no one responds for over a minute while he holds that pose, he looks around.
“Wrong direction, oh wise lord!” calls Kaji from about a hundred yards up the trail, standing between Suki and Okena in the opposite direction of Imaku’s pointing. Imaku gives an embarrassed grin and scratched the back of his head, then runs to catch up to them. They make the rest of the trip in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Okena and Imaku are both thinking of Imaku’s father, though in different lights. Suki is thinking of Imaku and mostly about the kiss he gave her before they left home. Kaji, however, is thinking about how much he is going to miss his computer the next night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

HAHAHA, that kaji...anyway...writing a story is alot harder than i thought, especially when i post it every day! i have to be careful not to write myself into a corner here. i think my chapters are a little two short for a real novel. im gonna try to get it published when im done. first im gonna have to read it start to finish and edit things and stuff. so yeah, alot harder than anticipated. thats all! glad you all like my new theme!

fisrt, she yelled "MOM SAYS YOU HAVE TO GET UP!!" and then she sicked the dog on me! ITS A BIG DOG!! a large german shepherd! he's so great! anywho: so then she said, "Fine, im taking your ninja headband!" and i still ignored her. and she opened the blinds more, but they were already opened. next she rang this copper bell right above my ear and then she turned on my alarm and kept it going!! i cant really wake "up" because in the morning, guys have...you know. when she wakes me up in the mornings, it jsut puts me in a bad mood. that simple. so yeah, um...thats why i dont like her waking me up in the mornings. now as to why i didnt write today: I FINALLY DID SOMETHING FUN! my friend called and she asked if i wanted to go swimming. of course! so yeah, she and her mom and her mom's BF picked me up. i dont know if we were just messing around or flirting, but i think it was flirting. ^__^ she looked great in a swimsuit too! so yeah, we hung out and there were many crude jokes that often resulted in me getting dunked. we both decided that we should hang out more often. if only i had money i could take her out! i would really love that. we spent alot of the time fighting over jets that blew water into the pool. i couldnt really fight back (mostly cause of the female anatomy) plus (this is really sad) she is stronger than me. um...anything else? oh yeah, new theme! Chapter 4!
i dont know if my next bit will be a new chapter or part 2 of this one. we'll find out later. nothing to report here. cept that hate when my sister tries to wake me up! visious little thing...STORY TIME!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the world of Giran, a bolt of black lightening touches down. Four travelers are left in its wake.
“Damn, what a ride,” says Kaji in slurred speech. He falls backwards into a sitting position and resists the urge to vomit. Okena, with a looks of slight disgust on her face, looks down at Kaji.
“You humans are weak,” she says matter-of-factly. Kaji simply leers at her in response. The two of them look over at Imaku and Suki, who are still holding each other.
“I can understand why he wanted to bring his personal servant, but did Lord Kazemaru really need to bring along a harlot? There are plenty of women here that would be overjoyed to lay with a man of his status.” Okena says flatly. Kaji again simply glares at her.
“Ok, first off, Suki is no man’s whore, not even Imaku’s. It’s called love. They just don’t know it yet,” he says. “Secondly…I’M NO SERVANT!!” he adds loudly. Kaji’s outburst manages to snap Imaku and Suki out of it. They jump back from each other with a shout and turn around so as not to let the other see them blushing. Okena and Kaji look back and forth between them during the awkward silence that follows.
Imaku looks over at Okena, seemingly back to normal.
“So…where are we?” he asks. He looks around and sees pine trees similar to the ones in the forest he grew up in and a moon much like the one on earth, only bigger and in a waxing crescent . He doesn’t recognize any of the smells and sounds or even the stars; even the air and soil feel strange.
“The energy is different here. It’s freer, but also much more turbulent,” Suki chimes in. Kaji and Okena both look at her like she is crazy.
“What?!” she says with a shrug. “My ancestors were priestesses.”
“We are in Giran, the crossroads of worlds,” announces Okena, turning back to Imaku.
“Nice introduction, Miss Videogame,” says Kaji with a sarcastic smirk.
“Actually, I prefer training to games,” replies Okena, obviously not getting the joke.
“Shoulda seen that coming,” mutters Kaji, rolling his eyes with a sigh.
Suddenly an iron throwing star flies out of the bushes, skimming the top of Kaji’s hair and making him fall off balance. Okena springs into action and tosses Imaku the Tamasii sword.
“Here, hold this,” she says arrogantly, tossing the sword at Imaku and smiling for the first time since she picked the other three up. As Imaku boggles it in his hands, she reaches into a holster wrapped around her thigh and grabs three throwing needles between her fingers. In one fluid motion she leaps into the air and does a cartwheel, letting fly the three needles and grabbing six more before landing. There is a groan of pain as a body clad all in black falls out of the bush, bleeding slowly onto the ground. Okena gives a small smile of grim satisfaction.
“One down, now where are your buddies hiding?” she says quietly, scanning the trees for the other two assassins. Suddenly another one leaps from a nearby tree toward Suki and Kaji, knife held point down. Imaku spots him and his eyes flash a brilliant shining blue and he appears in front of them in a flash, sword help up in a defensive position across both hands. The assassin’s eyes widen and he changes his trajectory, spinning toward Imaku in hopes of catching him off guard. Imaku ducks to avoid catching the dagger in his neck and springs back up, running the assassin through the ribs with his eyes shut tight. He hears the assassin’s last sounds and feels the warm blood dripping onto his hands. He pulls the blade out and falls backward, ears back and tail between his legs. His eyes widen in horror at the realization of what he has just done and he crawls back from the still bleeding corpse, but he can’t take his eyes off it. His heart is pounding uncontrollably and his breathing is becoming erratic. His field of vision narrows and his mind goes totally blank. All he can hear is his own breathing and furiously beating heart. Then a third assassin shoots out from the bush and charges toward Imaku. Imaku feels his footsteps through the earth and whirls around, swinging the blade with an animalistic yell. Under his mask the assassin smiles, thinking that his target is totally disoriented. Imaku swings his sword wildly three more times as his pupils dilate. Suddenly the assassin’s hidden smile turns to a grimace as he feels the bottom half of his body fall away from him. Three more cuts sever what’s left of his body as he falls to the ground, never knowing just what happened. Imaku looks at the assassin’s pieces and the organs and blood spilt all around them. His pupils shrink again, nearly disappearing and the light dims in his eyes. He falls slumps over onto the ground and looses consciousness. Suki rushes to his side and crouches down next to him, nearly in tears again.
“Imaku!” she shouts, shaking him. “Are you alright? Imaku! Wake up! Please!” She sits back and begins to sob again.
“He’s fine. Look carefully, do you see any wounds?” says Okena
“But-but…all this blood!” Suki stammers, looking up at her.
“Isn’t his.” Okena replies, placing a hand on Suki’s shoulder. “He’s never fought before, has he?” she adds.
“No,” Kaji answers. “Not even with his fists.”
“Incredible,” Okena thinks to herself. “Who is this kid? Using the Tamasii Kaze without any prior training, and four times! He must truly be Kurai’s boy.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

chapter 3 part 2
boring day. ive been catching up on a fanfic by JD person. its prettty good, go ask hima bout it. funny. um...is that all? yeah, i think thatx all. STORY!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“What the hell are you talking about?!” shouts Suki. “If we both shared the same experience, doesn’t that mean it really happened?!”
“It couldn’t have. We weren’t in your room in the dream,” says Imaku, still brooding over it all.
“But we did! I felt it and heard it and everything! And I felt the difference when I woke up too!” insists Suki.
“This has happened before,” says Imaku, mostly to himself. “With the black lightening.”
“ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?!” screams Suki, now on the verge of panic.
“Suki, you have to calm down. Something weird is going on here. We slept in separate rooms, there’s no way we could have done anything with each other,” says Imaku calmly.
“Yes we did!” yells Suki hysterically. “We did and it was wonderful and then you said-” she starts spinning out of control. Imaku is trying to stay calm and having a hard time of it. He can’t focus with Suki’s incoherent raving. His mind is darting back and forth between a multitude of possibilities.
“Suki, please stop!” he says desperately. “Hysterics won’t help us figure this out!”
But Suki won’t listen. She just keeps rambling about bed and moonlight and Imaku, and Imaku can’t get her to stop. He looks desperately for help but sees no one. Suddenly, one idea stands apart from the rest. Placing his hands on her shoulders, he leans closer to her.
“Please work!” he prays silently. He closes his eyes and places his lips over hers. Suki’s eyes slowly close and her body goes limp. Imaku catches her unconscious form in his arms.
“Hey guys!” calls Kaji, leaning around the corner. “You have to see this news break! It’s- Oh my god, what happened?!”
“Suki…uh…she fainted,” Imaku says. He doesn’t want to get Kaji involved if he doesn’t have too.
“Ok, well, just bring her inside. You have got to see this!” Kaji replies, disappearing around the corner. Imaku carries Suki inside and sets her gently on the couch. He then sits down on the floor and Kaji sits on a chair behind him and presses play on the paused Tivo.
“A strange phenomenon occurred today at Grand Central Station about twenty minutes ago. Witnesses say they say a bolt of black lightening shot out of the sky and hit in the center of a strange glowing circle. This has paranormal believers-” Kaji pauses it again.
“Pretty cool, huh?” Kaji asks as if expecting praise.
“Kaji, you have loaded guns, right?” Imaku asks without turning around.
“Yeah, but-” Kaji starts
“Go get them.” Imaku interrupts still facing the television.
“What for?” asks Kaji, who is now getting rather nervous. He has never seen Imaku behave this way before.
“Just go!” Shouts Imaku, whirling around with is eyes glowing. Kaji is a bit afraid of Imaku now. “He’s never been this intense before,” he thinks as he scrambles to get his father’s revolver from the gun cabinet. Imaku stands up. His heart is pounding in his chest and his tail, like the hair on the back of his neck, is bristling.
Kaji comes racing back with a 1985 Winchester eight-round revolver.
“Ok, I got the gun! Now tell me what the hell is going on!” he shouts.
“Shut up,” Imaku hisses. “Someone’s here.” Sure enough, there is a knock at the door. Imaku reaches out to the door handle and slowly opens the door. Then he jumps back, ready for a fight.
“Lord Kazemaru, this belongs to you,” says the woman at the door. She is dressed in a form fitting leather cat-suit and kneeling on one knee with her head bowed. She is also holding a partially unsheathed Japanese-style sword with a blue blade out as an offering.
“Who are you?” asks Imaku, who’s guard is still up. He seems interested in her cat’s ears and tail, but doesn’t ask about them.
“I am Okena Mizumaru of the Mizumaru clan,” the woman says. “I have been sent to deliver the Tamasii Sword to Lord Kazemaru and accompany him back to Giran.
“Oooooookay…” says Imaku, now thoroughly puzzled.
“I was told he was living in a human home in a world called Terra” Okena says. “I take it you are his son and servant?” she adds, standing up.
“HEY!” shouts Kaji angrily. “I just happen to be Imaku Kazemaru’s best personal friend!”
“Silence vassal!” shouts Imaku in mock anger.
“Not funny,” says Kaji indignantly. He folds his arms and turns around and Imaku laughs a little. He then turns to Okena.
“I’m Imaku Kazemaru and the only Kazemaru living in this house,” he says. “I’m guessing you were expecting some great and noble lord or something, right?” he adds after seeing the expression on her face.
“Yes, as a matter of fact, I was,” she replies rudely. “I suppose I can skip the formalities and get right to the point. I was sent to deliver the Tamasii Sword and escort you back to Giran,” she says, tossing Imaku the sword. “Simple enough, now let’s go.”
“Hold on, I can’t leave without my best friend Kaji!” Imaku argues. Kaji give him a look of gratitude.
“Fine, your servant boy can come along as well if you wish,” Okena says turning around with a dismissing wave. Kaji’s expression turns sour.
“You two give me a sec to say god bye to Suki, okay?” asks Imaku sounding sad. Kaji ushers Okena out of the room and down to the street, where he glares at her menacingly as the sets up their transport pad. Imaku approaches Suki on the couch just watches her sleeping there for a moment.
“Goodbye Suki. Sorry I gotta leave now of all times, but my world needs me back now,” he says as he gently brushes back the hair from her face. “I’ll miss you so much,” he says, tears welling in his eyes. He bends down and places one more kiss on her lips then turns to go. Outside, Okena has laid out a weird cloth with a circular design on it. She and Kaji are already standing in the center of it. Kaji is eyeing her suspiciously; he already doesn’t like her. Imaku walks out of he building with his head hung low. Okena’s sharp eyes catch the glimmer of tears falling on the pavement, and she, though normally emotionless, feels a pang of pity for her fledgling lord. Imaku dries his eyes and looks up to greet Kaji with a smile.
He steps into the center of the circle and Okena whispers a spell. She then places her hands on the outside of the circle and it begins to light up. Imaku realizes what is happening and tries to fight down the panic of his past. All his willpower is focused on staying put. His thoughts are soon broken, however, by a shout.
“IMAKU!!” Suki calls, running out of the building, her eyes streaming.
“Suki?!” shouts Imaku in surprise. He looks down and sees that the circle is nearly complete. Suki has nearly reaches them, but he doesn’t think she’ll make it in time. He reaches out to her and she grabs his hand. Imaku pulls her into the circle and takes her in his arms, holding her tightly. He’ll never let her go again.
“Suki…” he whispers, fighting back tears.
“Imaku!” she says with a sob.
The black lightening strikes and suddenly all four are gone.
chapter 3 part 1
this is gonna be my longest most intense chapter yet! which isnt saying much considering i only have 3 chapters so far...anywho, today i went to the YMCA and swam and played some raquetball which was fun. other than that, regular day. i spent the rest of it writing. so heres the fruit of my labors!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It’s been 3 days since Imaku spent the night at Suki’s apartment and Kaji has spent every waking moment trying to get details from him. Of course, Imaku has been keeping quiet about the whole thing, but Kaji is wearing him down. That day, the two of them decided to get some fast food for dinner because Kaji’s dad was out at work late. Kaji is still trying to find out just what happened.
“So, what did you and Suki do al night after I left?” he asks for the fourth time that day.
“Alright, alright!” cries Imaku with a frustrated sigh throwing his hands into the air. “Ok, I’ll let you in on a secret, but you can’t tell anyone. He leans over closer to Kaji and whispers, “Suki and I are…” Imaku starts.
“Yeah, keep going,” Kaji urges.
“Well, we’re going-”
“Going out!” shouts Kaji triumphantly. “I knew it!”
“No, no, let me finish,” Imaku interrupts. “Suki and I are going to be parents!” he says excitedly. Pedestrians dive out of the way as Kaji’s car swerves wildly and crashes into a lamp post.
“P-p-pa-par-PARENTS?!” Kaji stammers in disbelief.
“Yeah, you won’t believe how it happened!” continues Imaku. He then describes an experience that Kaji has never seen even in his most hardcore videos, in excruciating detail. Once Imaku is finished, Kaji’s face looks badly sun burnt- with a bit of a green tint too it- and his nose is bleeding profusely. Imaku looks at Kaji’s condition and can’t stop the slow smile creeping across his face. He suddenly burst out laughing, leaving Kaji looking entirely bewildered.
“Dude, I can’t believe you fell for that!” Imaku manages to say through his uncontrollable laughing. Kaji begins to laugh half-heartedly as well.
“So you made it all up?” He asks with a sigh of relief. He pulls back onto the road and continues driving.
“Yeah, we aren’t gonna be parents,” says Imaku casually. “We used a condom,” he adds. The car crashes into another street lamp and Kaji’s jaw drops into his lap. Imaku starts laughing again.
“Stop doing that, dammit!” shouts Kaji angrily.
“I’m sorry Kaji. You’re just too damn gullible!” says Imaku, drying his watering eyes on his forearm. “Why do you want so badly to believe that Suki and I are like that?” he asks.
“What are you talking about?
“Well, there was just now, the other night at Suki’s house, the time me and her got locked in the equipment closet after her track meet, and of course, every festival we’ve been too,” Imaku replies, counting on his fingers.
“Okay, okay!” says Kaji loudly. “I dunno, but I get this vibe from you two. My great grandpa was a powerful Shinto shrine-keeper you know.”
“Whatever.” says Imaku, slouching back in his seat. “Suki and I are friends. Nothing happened at her house. We just talked,” he adds.
“What about?”
“Personal stuff. She wouldn’t like me telling you about it.”
“AH HA!” shouts Kaji triumphantly. “Keeping secrets from your best friend for her! That’s a sure sign,” he adds, nodding sagely.
“Have you been reading those magazines in the orthodontist’s lobby again, Kaji?” asks Imaku with a raised eyebrow and a wry smile. Kaji doesn’t reply and simply scowls for the rest of the drive.
When they return home, Imaku rips the buns and toppings of his two triple hamburgers, stacks the meat patties, and takes a huge bite.
“Mmmmm…good ol’ meat!” he says, tail wagging happily.
“That’s gross Imaku,” says Suki from the window. Imaku’s ears perk up and he nearly flies to the window.
“Hi Suki!” he says excitedly, looking for all the world like a puppy greeting his owner. “I haven’t seen you since that night!”
“I know, wasn’t it wonderful?” says Suki in a sweet, almost blissful, voice. Kaji chokes on his cola and begins coughing uncontrollably. Imaku and Suki don’t notice at all.
“What do you mean?” asks Imaku, genuinely confused.
“Well, didn’t we…you know?” Suki says awkwardly
“No, we didn’t. I slept on the floor.
“Well then why did I…So it was only a dream,” Suki mumbles to herself sounding disappointed.
“Dream?” mutter Imaku, looking like he was thinking. He looks up with his expression looking a bit frantic. “Suki, I need to talk to you,” he says urgently. He ran outside and, taking her by the hand, led Suki around the corner.
“What’s the big deal?!” asks Suki in surprise. “It was just a dream!”
“Suki, you have to tell me how every detail of your dream played out!” demands Imaku very seriously.
“What are you, some kinda pervert?!” shouts Suki angrily, pulling away from Imaku. He grabs her hand again and looks into her eyes.
“Just trust me,” he says quietly. She looks at the ground, then into Imaku’s bright blue eyes, then back down to the floor. Then she tells Imaku exactly what happened in her dream. With every word she says, his eyes grow wider with disbelief. He falls backward and sits completely still, ears placed back.
“Oh my god…” he whispers
“What’s going on Imaku? I’ve never seen you like this,” says Suki. She is growing more and more worried. Her voice is starting to tremble a bit.
“Suki,” Imaku says softly. “We had the exact same dream.”

more to come! i told you the story gets more intense! from this point in, there will be some comic relief, but its not gonna be a comedy,

chapter 2 part 2
well, jsut an update on my life first: i got my anime for the week. i got last months anime insider and shaman king vol 2 from the library. read them both already. ^__^ yeah, and i rented teh first evangelion OVA. what does that stand for anyway? anyone know? im gonna watch that later. ok, story time!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After going into her room with Imaku, Suki first gets some real clothes on, much to Imaku’s disappointment.
“C’mon, why’d ya put pants on? You looked great in that!” he wines, putting his ears back.
“Imaku, it’s a swimsuit. It’s not regular clothing,” Suki explains.
“So? We’re not in public or anything!”
“Oh, gimme a break. If you’re into that sorta stuff, ask Kaji about his Websites.”
“What, you mean the porn? Nah, wasn’t interesting.” Imaku says, sitting down on the floor.
“Really? I thought all guys liked porn.” Suki says while rummaging behind her bed for the shopping bags.
“Well, maybe all human guys do, but you can’t really do anything, its just fantasy. You can’t even talk to them. All you do is watch and I guess some guys pretend”
“Ok, too much information,” says Suki, who is a bit disgusted. She then disappears completely behind her bed and opens something. “Ok, ready? I’m gonna toss you your surprise!”
“Ready,” says Imaku, tail wagging. Suddenly a rubber steak comes flying out from behind the bed. “Oh my god, Suki!” he shouts. “How did you know how much I loved these things? The good kind is so hard to get a hold of. Just how were Kaji and I supposed to share this anyway?” he asks.
“Just enjoy it like a good doggy” Suki says. At this Imaku barks like a dog and Suki laughs. Then Imaku goes into a very good dog impression.
“Now look guys! The bikini was one thing, but this is going too far! I mean, you only just met like 6 months ago and-” Kaji shouts, eyes still shut tight.
“Kaji?” interrupts Imaku, sounding like his mouth is full. Kaji opens his eyes and sees Suki sitting on her bed, fully clothed and Imaku on the floor with the rubber steak in his mouth. His face turns bright red again as he gives them an embarrassed grin. Suki begins to rummage around behind her bed again and Kaji backs away slowly. Suki pops back up with an assortment of sports equipment. Now Kaji knows he’s in trouble. He’s about to turn and run when Suki begins to let loose her arsenal.
“YOU PERVERT!!” she screams. “What kind of girl do you think I am?!” Imaku is sitting out of the line of fire, head cocked to the side and looking puzzled. Suddenly his ear twitches as a look of realization dawns across his features.
“Oh, now I get it!” he says as he begins to laugh. He quickly stops when a football hits him on top of the head.
“Wait!” Kaji yelps! “Stop! I’m injured!” he turns and runs out of the room and out of the apartment and all the way down to his car. Suki begins to throw balls out the window and Kaji is so scared that he drives off, leaving Imaku behind.
“That bastard!” shouts Imaku. “There goes my ride home. Is it alright if I crash here?
“No!” replies Suki almost immediately. “What would your parents say about you spending the night a girl’s house?”
“I don’t have any parents,” replies Imaku, casting his gaze to the floor.
“Oh my god,” Suki gasps. “So that’s why you are over at Kaji’s all the time.”
“Yeah, I live there. But your right, what your parents have to say about a boy spending the night?”
“They’re gone too.”
“So you live alone?!”
“Yeah. My parents owned this complex so it was left to me. I live off the rent and stuff.” Suki says, sitting on the couch. She motioned for Imaku to sit too.
“That’s gotta be tough. I’m lucky; I never knew my parents.”
“How is that lucky? No memories at all?”
“All I have is this recurring dream. In it there is a woman who looks like me and she is placing a baby on a stone table when these guys come in and kill her and then when they are about to kill the baby, this bolt of black lightening comes down and I see a bright light. Then I wake up.”
“How do you know it’s not just a dream?”
“Because it happened twice. The second time was over a year ago. When I was living with my wolf pack, there was a bolt of lightening and these guys from my dream came and they burned out our den and killed everyone. I was off getting food for myself and came back when they were all dead.”
“Oh my god, that’s horrible!” says Suki, near tears. Imaku puts his hand on her shoulder.
“I shouldn’t concern you with my past. I better go now,” he says, getting up to leave. Suki pulls him back down onto the couch.
“No, you can stay,” she says.
“Are you sure? You never know what I might try,” Imaku says with a weak smile.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” says Suki, returning that smile.
That night, instead of dreaming about the past, Imaku dreamt of the future; a future with him and Suki.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i actually changed that alot. this was orginally gonna be a short chapter, but i added both conversations between imaku and suki in while typing my second draft of this chapter. oh and more about today: the weather was supposed to get wild and there were even tornado warning out but all we got were some wind, about 5 minutes of hail, then rain. and like 3 lightning bolts. LAME! chapter 3 starts tomorrow!

Chapter 2 part 1
hey guys, another boring day. i got some orthodontist stuff done and thats about it. so heres the next part of my story!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!” Kaji shouts, cringing while Suki puts hydrogen peroxide in his cuts and scrapes.
“Dude, I can’t believe you managed to slip on a ketchup packet, have it squirt all over your face, then fall down the ‘up’ escalator!” calls Imaku from the other side of the table. “You had Suki so freaked out!” he adds, leaning back in his chair with his feet on the table.
“You’re the one who jumped down to the first floor, then rode up the escalator to catch him!” says Suki with a vengeful grin.
“Oh, c’mon Suki! You were like, ‘Oh my god, Kaji! Imaku, help him! Oh god, I think he’s bleeding!’” responds Imaku in his best female voice. Suki’s grin slides off her face as she goes back to work patching up Kaji’s scrapes and bruises.
“Uh oh,” thinks Kaji. “I know what’s coming next.” He sees Suki grab the peroxide bottle like a football and shouts, “Imaku, duck!” right as Suki wings the bottle at Imaku.
“Oh shi-” exclaims Imaku, who falls over backwards in his chair to avoid taking a bottle to the face. He gets up laughing as Suki reloads with a bag of cotton balls. She throws it at Imaku’s face, but this time he catches it easily, still smiling.
“Oh c’mon Suki, you gotta admit, it was kinda funny.” interrupts Kaji. Suki responds by simply poking him in the ribs where he sustained a rather large bruise.
“Ow.” says Kaji with a wince. “Shutting up” Suki slaps on another band-aid.
“There, all done.” she states, stepping back to admire her handiwork.
“It’s a work of art!” says Imaku.
“I call it ‘Escalator Boy’”
“I’ll go contact the Louvre in France! Let them know we got the next Michelangelo over here!” This last comment causes all three to laugh out loud. When the laughter subsides, Imaku asks, “So Suki, what did you get at the mall?”
“Oh, just summer clothes.” replies Suki, brushing off the question.
“Well why don’t you go try them on?” asks Imaku again.
“W-well I…um…I…” Suki stutters as she begins to blush. Kaji flashes Imaku a glare that has “No!” written all over it, but Imaku doesn’t even seem to notice.
“C’mon,” Imaku persists. “We won’t peek! Promise.”
“Well, if you want to see it that badly…” says Suki with a shy smile. “No peeping now!” she says with a giggle as she disappears into her room. Kaji pictures what will happen in his mind: Suki will come out wearing board shorts and a swimsuit top and Imaku will be all over her. This will result in Suki screaming “You pervert!” and delivering a punch that will launch Imaku into the ionosphere. Kaji sighs and looks over at Imaku, who is patiently waiting for Suki to reemerge from her room.
“Imaku, you moron” he hisses.
“What’d a do?!” whispers Imaku, taken aback by this sudden outburst.
“You should know!” replies Kaji angrily. “When a woman says ‘just some summer clothes’ like that, it means what she actually bought is-”
“What are you boys whispering about?” asks Suki in a sweet tone. They both look up to see her standing in the doorway, blushing, in pure white bikini that truly doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
“So? What do ya think?” she asks shyly, placing one hand behind her head and blushing a little. Kaji sits back in his chair, totally dumbstruck.
“Here it comes,” he thinks to himself. Imaku’s eyes widen and he leaps up from his chair, tail wagging furiously.
“Oh my god, you look great!” he exclaims, jumping around to see her from all angles.
“You really think so?” she replies, striking a pose and giggling.
“Yeah!” Imaku says excitedly. “Because you wear guy’s clothes so much, I never get to see you like this. It looks great; you should do it more often!” he adds. Suki gives another shy giggle and blushes even more.
“What about you Kaji?” she asks. Kaji doesn’t answer. He expected a swimsuit, but not this. It’s as if he has gone into shock. His mind is totally blank.
“Kaji?” she asks again. “Fine! Then I’ll only share my special surprise with Imaku! Come boy!” she calls to Imaku. Imaku gets down on all fours and barks, and then follows Suki into her room.
Kaji is left sitting on the chair in the kitchen. A second later he hears the rustling of clothing and then the sounds of a plastic package being opened, followed by the creak of Suki’s old spring mattress. This sends his mind racing.
“Oh my god, Suki!” cries Imaku from Suki’s room. “Just how were Kaji and I expected to share this?” he adds. Now Kaji’s face is turning bright red.
“Just enjoy it like a good doggy,” says Suki. Kaji hears Imaku bark and then Suki giggles. At this point Kaji’s imagination is running wild and his nose begins to bleed a little.
“Ok, that’s it!” he thinks to himself. He stands up, marches up to Suki’s door and takes a deep breath. He shuts his eyes as tight as he can and bursts into the room.
Chapter 1 part 3!
ok, this is the last part of chapter one and its kinda short, so im gonna leave you a real post today too. um...ok, not much to talk about....my sister must be schitzophrenic. earlier today she was super pissy and stuff and was slamming doors and trowing stuff on the ground over me telling her to pick up the lawn so i can mow it, but then jsut a couple hours later she wants me to come play with her on the trampoline and she's all nice, but annoying! anyway, im a softy, so i did. i had fun too. i dunno, i guess my whole family is like that. crazy. about the story: to be honest, i dont totally know the story line yet! im just going with where it takes me. i dont think im gonna spend as much time in this world as i had originally planned. pretty soon, perhaps chapter 3, i will move into Giran. perhaps after the story will be the best time to come up with a title. um...what else...this part wil be really short. at least in my opinion. tomorrow i will write chapter 2 and post it if i can. if not, you'll all have to wait! ok, story!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Imaku is off like a shot, sprinting top speed while dodging people and objects left and right along the crowded sidewalk. Although Imaku has the early lead, Kaji was driving over the speed limit and handling like a professional circuit racer. They come to a stoplight and it is red. Kaji knows he can’t risk running it with Suki in the car and screeches to a halt, but Imaku gets across by leaping from car to car, and then keeps on running. He doesn’t take advantage of his lead and just keeps on running as hard as he can, panting all the way. He spots Kaji coming on quickly and dashes across the street, causing cars to swerve and screech, blocking the road. Kaji slows down but doesn’t stop, and soon makes his way through the mess of honking commuters. Because of Kaji’s delay, Imaku now has a substantial lead and it lasts for quite a while.
About ten miles later, Imaku spots Kaji closing the gap between them. He is beginning to tire but the car isn’t. Soon Kaji pulls up right next to him and Suki roles down the window.
“I’d like a cheeseburger, onion rings and a medium coke!” she calls, then sticking her tongue out with a laugh. Imaku flashes her another roguish grin, that wild looks still in his eyes, then suddenly leaps onto the roof of the car with a resounding “thunk” inside it.
“Hey! No fair!” shouts Suki, looking up at him from the window.
“I’d like a triple hamburger with a large Mountain Dew, please!” Imaku calls back mockingly.
“In your dreams, you cheap bastard!” yells Kaji from the driver’s seat, never looking away from the road. “I’m gonna try and shake him, Suki!” He begins to swerve and fishtail wildly, but Imaku somehow manages to stay on.
“DAMMIT! I knew I shouldn’t have gotten that bike rack!” Kaji curses.
“Do you even have a bike?” asks Suki with a puzzled look on her face.
Soon Kaji gave up trying to shake Imaku and they pulled into a parking spot. Just before they came to a complete stop, Imaku jumped from the roof onto the side walk, turned around to face the other two, and raises up both arms into the air.
“The Winna!” he shouts.
“Cork it, you cheater” says Kaji sullenly.
“You’re just jealous because I’m cleverer”
“First off, is that even a word?! Secondly, I was hung over anyway.”
“You weren’t drivin’ like it!” says Imaku, prancing around like a little school boy with his tail wagging all over the place.
“Well if you hadn’t…” Kaji starts
“SHUT UP, both of you!” shouts Suki, interrupting Kaji in mid-sentence. “Let’s just go inside, ok boys?” she adds in a mock-gentle tone.
“Okay…” reply both the boys quietly. Imaku slows down and files in behind Suki.
“You’re still buyin’, Kaji!” Imaku suddenly calls tauntingly, before taking off running.
“You bastard!” yells Kaji, chasing after him.
“Great…” Suki, who was knocked off balance, mutters as she watches the two friends chase each other all over the mall. She then smiles and gets up to join them. All three are running and laughing, until Kaji falls down the “up” escalator

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i kept chapter 1 light hearted on purpose. chapter 2 will be a little less, and it will steadily move darker and darker. with little spots of comic relief here and there. perhaps a little romance? i want to make a really well-rounded story with deep themes. there are more charcters on the way too! latr!
