   Poor rabbit

I'm so sad, one of our rabbits died TT.TT the other one kept poking her head over the side of the cage, and made little squeaking noises, like she was trying to get it to get up, so now she's in mourning. TT.TT

To take this to a lighter note, we're finally settling down a bit more, and I've been working on another picture, but my paintbrush broke, so now I can't finish it without a new paintbrush TT.TT Oh well.

Anyway, questions...

1. Who is your favorite author?

2. What is your favorite book?

3. Have you ever attempted to change a novel into manga format?

My Answers

1. David Eddings ^^

2. The Redemption of Althalus^^ (by David Eddings)

3. Yes, only just recently, but I've hit a brick wall on the character design TT.TT

Have a good day ^^

   Kicked out of my room...

Oh dear... here at my school, there's a conference happening, so my parents decided to be hosts for the speakers from this school in Germany. Anyway, since I have a double bed, my parents are kicking me out of my own room for about a week so they can sleep in there o_O So as it turns out, I'll be sleeping in the baby's room o_O (Oh great, that means I'll be doing night feeding). Oh well, I hear that they're bringing their son, so i hope he's either my age, or older ^^

OK, so today I made German pancakes for our house-help, and we sat eating sticky foam drenched in syrup, and talking about certain sections of the Bible. She is so cool!!! ^^

Here's another chain email I got from a friend I thought you'd enjoy. ^^

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone.

She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone.

Well... I hope that's encouraged you ^^

Questions

1. What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you?

2. Who is your favorite anime character?

3. What is the farthest you've ever been from home?

My Answers

1. When a matatu (Kenyan mode of transport) driver though I wanted to go to Mombasa because I'm white, and I almost got thrown out of the Matatu for not having enough money TT.TT (I was also by myself, and in the middle of nowhere).

2. Most likely Kenshin or Sanosuke ^^

3. I don't know where home is right now, but if my home is in Canada, then it's here in Kenya ^^

Have a great week ^^

   Ooooops... I forgot...

Here's a funny story I got as a chain email from one of my friends at school (this story is purely fiction ^^)

The other day I went to the local religious book store, where I saw a “HONK IF YOU LOVE JESUS” bumper sticker. I bought it and put it on the back bumper of my car, and I'm really glad I did. What an uplifting experience followed!

I was stopped at the light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord, and didn't notice that the light had changed. That bumper sticker really worked! I found lots of people who love Jesus. Why, the guy behind me started to honk like crazy. He must REALLY love the Lord because pretty soon, he leaned out his window and yelled, "Jesus Christ!" as loud as he could. It was like a football game with him shouting, "GO JESUS CHRIST, GO!!!"

Everyone else started honking, too, so I leaned out my window and waved and smiled to all of those loving people. There must have been a guy from Florida back there because I could hear him yelling something about a sunny beach, and saw him waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.

I asked my two kids what that meant. They kind of squirmed, looked at each other, giggled and told me that it was the Hawaiian good luck sign. So, I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign back. Several cars behind, a very nice man stepped out of his car and yelled something. I couldn't hear him very well, but it sounded like, "Mother trucker," or "Mother's from there." Maybe he was from Florida, too.

He must really love the Lord. A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and were walking toward me. I bet they wanted to pray, but just then I noticed that the light had changed to yellow, and stepped on the gas. And a good thing I did, because I was the only driver to get across the intersection. I looked back at them standing there. I leaned way out the window, gave them a big smile and held up the Hawaiian good luck sign as I drove away.

Well, I hope that had you smiling, and don't worry, Christians aren't really that ditzy ^^

Spent my day in Nairobi ^^

Today was so much fun. My dad and i drove into Nairobi this morning, and after stopping at the bank, we had lunch at an Ethiopian resteraunt, then went shopping at Nakumatt (a Kenyan supermarket). We just got back, and it's so nice to have meat in the house again ^^. Also tonight, my mom is making kima for supper, and it's gonna be so good^^.

Now, to take my mind off of food... ^^

I finally finished one of the tapes of taped anime from my teacher, and watched "Wolf's Rain" again last night. Last night, I got together with some friends, and we hung out until about 9:30, since I was leaving in the morning. We had so much fun, but some staff members came and told us to be quiet ^^ Oh well.

Questions

1. What is the funnest thing you've ever done with your friends?

2. What is your most embarresing moment?

3. Are you picky about the anime/manga you watch/read, or do you watch/read it just because it's anime/manga?

My Answers

1. We went to the midway, and rode all of the funnest rides together ^^

2. I dunno, too many to think of, but one is when my friends and I were playing around in the cafeteria, and we broke the salt and pepper shakets o_O

3. I'm usually careful about it, but if it looks good, I read/watch it ^^

Have a good week ^^

Just woke up ^^

Hey, I just realized something, since all of my Science is finally done, and I've only got that manga in Bible class to do, I can basically do whatever I want now!!! ^^ WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!! (within a limit however ^^)

Well, we went over to our neighbor's place last night, and had a steak dinner with them *drools at the memory*. Also, af ther the dinner, we went home and watched "My Giant" last night, and it's so sad. I think I dreamed about it a lot last night. Oh yeah, dreams, recently I've been having dreams that I'm having adventures with anime charcters ^^ Like, I'm beating up Shishio with Kenshin, or else Sanosuke is in my world here at my boarding school ^^ I hate waking up in the moringing whenever I have dreams like that ^^

OK, questions....

1. What is your on-going fantasy?

2. If you could be an animal, what would you be?(It doesn't have to be real ^^)

3. Which anime character do you think is the hottest?

My Answers ^^

1. That I'm in another world, and man, I really wish it were true ^^

2. I would be a werewolf ^^ I mean, they're so cool to draw ^^

3. Well... in my dorm, it's been a toss-up between Sanosuke and Kenshin, I mean, the dorm practically split when we were trying to figure out who's hotter, but I'm in the Sanosuke group ^^

Well... Have fun answering ^^

   Bored

Man, where do I begin, I have my Physical Science test today, and I've finished the writing part for my Bible project, and so all I've gotta do is finish my manga for the project (I'm drawing a manga of the parable of the prodigal son, lots of fun ^^)

I still need to feed the animals, and I've borrowed my friend's "Fushigi Yugi" books again. Unfortunately, she lent the second book to someone, and she never got around to returning it, so I've only got the first and third books. -_- I also lent my friend my "Case Closed" books, and so now we're both happy ^^ (generally).

My parents had some guests over last night for supper, so when they left I watched an episode of Blue Gender, and Fushigi Yugi, then went to bed.

Yep, that's about all that's been happening so far. ^^

Questions

1. If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

2. Do you prefer anime or manga? Why?

3. What is your outlook on magic? What do you believe it is?

My Answers

1. I would go to the same world as in Fushigi Yugi. ^^

2. manga, the art is so much better, and it shows more feeling than anime

3. I believe that magic is a trick of Satan to pull us away from God, and trick us into believing that we can be our own gods.

Well, have a good weekend. ^^

Puh-please, this is supposed to be vacation...

Aaaw man, mom has set out more "duties" for me. Right now, my chores revolve around feeding and watering the rabbits and dog, bringing in the laundry, washing the dishes except for when I cook, and now I have to take an empty container down to the cafeteria to get milk, then bring it back up. MAN!!! that is such a long walk!!! o_O

Oh well, sorry to be whining like this, I guess I can't do anything about it. o_O

Sorry that I haven't been checking out your guys' sites recently, my mom is cracking the whip on catching up on homework, and I haven't had much time on the web TT.TT

Sooooo... since I'm only allowed on for another 15 minutes, I'd better do questions now ^^

1. What is your favorite desert? (random question, I know ^^)

2. What do you think is anime's trademark? Like, what makes it anime?

3. Why do you think that animals don't have the same intelegence as humans?

My Answers

1. 1/2 hour pudding *licks lips and slobbers all over keyboard* My mom makes the best, and my grandma's comes next^^

2. Probably how the features of the people express so much feeling.

3. I don't know, I like to think that they do have the same intelegence ^^

Well, glad to be back^^
