   Argh...

Man, why is it that everyday that I post, I'm in a bad mood. Oh well, it's my big brother's birthday today, he is turning 23 today, ay-yi-yi. Yesterday was my parent's anniversary, so we ate pork chops for supper ^^ My dad is in Mombasa again, and midterm is this weekend, so that's good. I borrowed my teacher's disks of Read or Die, so that's fun, and I'm sorry my post is so short, but the bell's gonna ring ^^'

   BAD DAY X(

Dang, this has turned out to be such a bad day, and it's only third period. To start with, I woke up late, but was still exhausted, then I had to rush to get ready for school, and only just made it on time. English class was a disaster, as was Swahili, and I only just managed to get a computer in the lab. Argh!!! I hate this stupid school, I wish that mid-term would hurry up and come!

Well, anyway, while we were waiting for our teacher to arrive in Swahili class, another staff member popped in and started telling us jokes, so here's one for you ^^

The CIA was trying to get people to fight for them, so they had some people come in for tryouts (?) So, the first guy comes, and they give him a gun and say, "here, your wife's in the other room, go shoot her." This guy freaks, and says "man, I can't shoot my wife", so the CIA say, "come on man, we don't want you". The next man comes in, and the same thing happens, then a woman comes in, they hand her the gun and tell her what to do, and so she goes into the other room, and they hear a bang. However, they start hearing thwaking noises, and the woman comes out saying, "the gun was loaded with a blank, so I beat him to death with the but of the gun."

Oh no, sorry if I've offended anyone, I just though it was funny ^^

   Ugh...

Ugh, today is so blah. I was sick all of yesterday with a sick tummy, and also this morning. However, I got to go to afternoon classes, and in Algebra and Physical Science, I have no idea what's happening. (wah, so sad *sniffles*)

Well... I guess there is one good thing about today. I put the movie "Eragon" on hold in the library, and it finally came in, so I'm gonna watch that tonight ^^

Here's a story from a friend in my class, enjoy

There's this little guy sitting inside a bar, just looking at his drink.
He stays like that for half-an-hour.

Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the
drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down.

The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says: "Come on man, I was
just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't see a man
crying."

"No, it's not that. Today day is the worst of my life. First, I overslept
and late to an important meeting. My boss, outrageous, fired me. When I
left the building to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police, they
said they could do nothing. I got a cab to return home, and after I paid
the cab driver and the cab had gone, I found that I left my whole wallet
in the cab.. I left and came to this bar. And when I was thinking about
putting an end to my life, you show up and drink my poison..."

OH NO! (LOL) And I thought my day was bad. Well, I hope you all have a better one ^^

   Funny show yesterday ^^

Yesterday, I came back from Nairobe, totally exhauested, so I'm sorry that my post was so short. Anyway, after I got back and had supper, I went to a show done by the reduced Shakespeare company. Man, it was so funny. The whole thing was three guys from my school condensing all of the works of Shakespeare into an hour and a half.

Anyway, I went shopping at Toi market in Nairobi, and got some new shoes, so that's good. My day so far has gone well, so I'm gonna close for now. Here's a question for you... (sorry, only one) What was the first anime you've ever seen?

My Answer

HAMTARO!!! XDDD (it's so cute)

   *sigh*

Oh dear, yesterday didn't go well at all. This Saturday is sadie hawkins movie night, so the girl asks the guy on a date. So... there's this guy I really like, and I decided to ask him. OK, you need to know that I'm shy of guys, so I was totally freaking out when I decided to ask him. I told my friend that I was going to ask him, so she turned around and told everyone that she met, so everyone kept coming up to me, going like; "did you ask him?" In the end, the take spread to another girl who wanted to ask him, so she freaked and asked him, and I've totally missed my chance. *sigh*

Oh well, all is fair in love and war I guess

   Ay-yi-yi

Man, life is such a cycle. It's always the same, wake up go to school, suffer, go home, go to bed, wake up... etc., etc., etc.

Oh well, today was just like the rest. This is my third period right now, so I'm still not entirely awake. So far, I've got swahili homework, and I've finished my english homework. Next period is PE (my class of humiliation) then it's lunch, and finally... ART!!! (YES!!! ^^) My best class ever ^^ The classes after that are really boring, you know, physical science and algbra, then I get to go home ^^

Well... sorry for boring you with my boring schedule. This saturday my parents are taking me to Nairobi, where we will eat Ethiopian food, and shop at Toi market (a street market) However, that means I will miss anime club *sniff* I hope they don't watch anything too good, cuz I don't wanna miss it.

Sorry, the bell rang so I don't have time to put in a story, have a good day.

Man, I hate going to counseling! Today I had to run home after my second period, so that my parents could drive me to Nairobi for my appointment. We were 15 minutes late, so we had to rush to get home, and as a result, I still haven't had lunch yet, and it's 3:40. This wouldn't be so bad normally, but I didn't have breakfast this morning, so I haven't eaten a thing all day!

Oh well... to put things on a lighter note, I got my Kenshin books, so that's good, and I've already read them all ^^

   Yay for Kenshin!!!

Yay, my daddy went to Nairobi today, and he's supposed to have picked up my new Kenshin books today ^^ YAY, I can't wait! I'm gonna start reading them as soon as they come ^^

Sorry, but I can't visit anyone today, SORRY!!! *smacks self* I'll be a good girl tomorrow if I can. So I'll see you then. To apologized, here's something special for you all ^^

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8
year-olds, "What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have
imagined. See what you think:

---------------------------------

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her
toenails anymore.

So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got
arthritis too. That's love."

Rebecca- age 8

---------------------------------

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.

You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Billy - age 4

---------------------------------

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and
they go out and smell each other."

Karl - age 5

---------------------------------

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French
fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Chrissy - age 6

---------------------------------

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

Terri - age 4

---------------------------------

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip
before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Danny - age 7

---------------------------------

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing,
you still want to be together and you talk more.
My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Emily - age 8

---------------------------------

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening
presents and listen."

Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

---------------------------------

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who
you hate,"

Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

---------------------------------

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

Noelle - age 7

---------------------------------

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still
friends even after they know each other so well."

Tommy - age 6

---------------------------------

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at
all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling.

He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

Cindy - age 8

---------------------------------

"My mommy loves me more than anybody .

You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

Clare - age 6

---------------------------------

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

Elaine-age 5

---------------------------------

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is
handsomer than Brad Pitt."

Chris - age 7

---------------------------------

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all
day."

Mary Ann - age 4

---------------------------------

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes
and has to go out and buy new ones."

Lauren - age 4

---------------------------------

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars
come out of you." (what an image)

Karen - age 7

---------------------------------

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean
it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Jessica - age 8

---------------------------------

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a
contest he was asked to judge.

The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an
elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's
yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,

"Nothing, I just helped him cry"

---------------------------------

When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is
all you need.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as me ^^
