   I'm so tired... *SNOOOOORE!!!

Oh man, I don't know how, and I don't know why, but I'm exhausted o_O No questions today, sorry this is such a short post, but I'm too tired. I guess that flag-football has something to do with it.

   Thank you

Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday. T___ went to the hospital yesterday, and only had a concussion, so he was in the infirmary last night. I saw him in class today, and now everything is back to normal *sighs with relief*

School was good today. We're playing flag football in PE, which is a lot of fun, except that it was raining when we were playing, so we all got really muddy o_O though that was the fun part ^^

Lunch was good too ^^ I heated up some left-over beef curry and and some brown rice, then had some pear sauce for dessert *drooling on keyboard* so....good...!!!

I hope everyone's days are going well, and here's a story I got from a friend. ENJOY!!! ^^

How To Forgive

One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking in the woods. As he thought about his life this day, he knew many things were not right. He thought about those who had lied about him back when he had a job. His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated him. He remembered family that had passed on. His mind turned to the illness he had that no one could cure. His very soul was filled with anger, resentment and frustration. Standing there this day, searching for answers he could not find, knowing all else had failed him, he knelt at the base of an old oak tree to seek the one he knew would always be there. And with tears in his eyes, he prayed: "Lord- You have done wonderful things for me in this life. You have told me to do many things for you, and I happily obeyed. Today, you have told me to forgive. I am sad, Lord, because I cannot. I don't know how. It is not fair Lord. I didn't deserve these wrongs that were done against me and I shouldn't have to forgive. As perfect as your way is Lord, this one thing I cannot do, for I don't know how to forgive. My anger is so deep Lord, I fear I may not hear you, but I pray that you teach me to do this one thing I cannot do - Teach me To Forgive." As he knelt there in the quiet shade of that old oak tree, he felt something fall onto his shoulder. He opened his eyes. Out of the corner of one eye, he saw something red on his shirt. He could not turn to see what it was because where the oak tree had been was a large square piece of wood in the ground. He raised his head and saw two feet held to the wood with a large spike through them. He raised his head more, and tears came to his eyes as he saw Jesus hanging on a cross. He saw spikes in His hands, a gash in His side, a torn and battered body, deep thorns sunk into His head. Finally he saw the suffering and pain on His precious face. As their eyes met, the man's tears turned to sobbing, and Jesus began to speak. "Have you ever told a lie?" He asked? The man answered - "yes, Lord." "Have you ever been given too much change and kept it?" The man answered - " yes. Lord." And the man sobbed more and more. "Have you ever taken something from work that wasn't yours?" Jesus asked? And the man answered - "yes, Lord." "Have you ever sworn, using my Father's name in vain? " The man, crying now, answered - "yes, Lord." As Jesus asked many more times, "Have you ever"? The man's crying became uncontrollable, for he could only answer - "yes, Lord." Then Jesus turned His head from one side to the other, and the man felt something fall on his other shoulder. He looked and saw that it was the blood of Jesus. When he looked back up, his eyes met those of Jesus, and there was a look of love the man had never seen or known before. Jesus said, "I didn't deserve this either, but I forgive you."

I hope that this story has encouraged someone today.

Sorry

Sorry about my first post, I never told what happened. Well... T___ was doing a slam-dunk, and was holding the edge of the basket when he slipped and hit the back of his neck, that's why he was having a seizure. It's so scary ;_;

   I'm so scared ;_;

Man, I never realized how scary it is to see someone hurt until today. School started today, and the day was going well, until me and my friend were heading to PE, and our friend R___ (names not given, I'm sure you understand ^^) came running out yelling something about T__ having a seizure. We ran into the gym, and saw a group around him, and he was lying on the ground. I ran down the stands, and I saw that his eyes were open, but nothing was registering. R___ ran for a teacher, and came back with the infirmary nurse, Mrs. R_____, and I think that the scariest part was when she kept calling for him to squeeze her hand, and he didn't. They carried him to a vehicle to go to the hospitol, and all of this has happened about 40 minutes ago, on the first day of school O_o

   School starts tomorrow... ;_;

Waaaah... school starts tomorrow, I really don't wanna go back! Oh well, yesterday I found mangavolume.com, so I've been pretty busy lately XD I love that site ^^ Anyhow, last night I couldn't get to sleep, and finally at about 2:30 am I drifted off, then my mom woke me up earlier than usual, say, 9:30 ^^ And then she made me peel enough pears that could populate an entire country ;_; (My hands are positively RED).

Anyway, what's up with you people, how come no-one's been commenting lately? I mean, I can understand if you have a lot to do, I'm just curious. So, I hope you all can rush back soon ^^

Questions

1. What is your favorite quote?

2. What do you love most about your mom?

What do you love most about your dad?

My Answers

1. Better to be hated for who I am, then to be loved for who I'm not.

Besides that she's a Christian, how much like a teenager she is. I mean, she listens to the same music as me, and wears the same clothes as most of the girls in the dorm, like I said, really cool. ^^

3. He's also a Christian, and I love how big he is, and how he always has both feet planted solidly on the ground ^^

Anyway, have a good day ^^

   Waaaah... no one commented ;_;

Oh man, now I'm all sad cuz no one commented, it's really too bad, but I'm sure you all had a reason. Anyhow, not a lot has happened here, except that I'm still sick, and the teacher who lends out anime has finally come back from the states ^^ I've been dying for some new anime ^^

Anyhow, here's a story from chicken soup for the soul that I really liked ^^

Service with a smile ^^

A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night? An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who said, I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes or silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night fr being drunk and disoderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcom to stay here, too.

I hope that this has made someone laugh today ^^

Here's a story I got from my friend ^^

Boy: I like her so much. Girl: Talk to her!
Boy: I don't know. She won't ever like me. Girl: Don't say that. You're amazing. Boy: I just want her to know how I feel. Girl: Then tell her. Boy: She won't like me... Girl: How do you know that? Boy: I can just tell. Girl: Well just tell her. Boy: What should I say? Girl: Tell her how much you like her! Boy: I tell her that daily. Girl: What do you mean? Boy: I'm always with her. I love her. Girl: I know how you feel. I have the same problem. But he'll never like me... Boy: Wait. Who do you like? Girl: Oh some boy. Boy: Oh... she won't
like me either. Girl: She does. Boy: How do you know..? Girl: Because, who wouldn't like you? Boy: You. Girl: You're wrong, I love you. Boy: I love you too. Girl: So are you going to talk to her? Boy: I just did.

Isn't that CUTE?! I hope that it has brightened up your day ^^

   Hmmmmmm...

Today has been un-eventful so far, except that my dad and I went to get milk, and then dropped by the library, where we got 2 movies; "the Mask of Zorro" and "Witness". I'm looking forward to watching them ^^ We also got the book; "100 sneaky sleuth stories" ^^ so that should be fun to read.

Today seems to be a cooking day, so my mom is making rubarb pie, lime juice, and probably some cookies too ^^ Unfortuanately, this is the last week of vacation, so I'd better enjoy it as much as I can ^^.

Here's a rather sad story that I got from a friend.

"Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open up your heart..." "You'll find Jesus there," the boy interrupted. the surgeon looked up, annoyed "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, to see how much damage has been done..." "but when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there," said the boy. The surgeon looked to the parents, who Sat quietly. "When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up, and I'll plan what to do next." "But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart. The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell you what I'll find! in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well." "You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there." The surgeon left. The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery,"...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis:", here he paused, "death within one year." He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud. "Why did You do this? You've put him here; You've put him in this pain; and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?" The Lord answered and said, "The boy, my lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. His parents will one day join him here,and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow." The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. "You created that boy, and You created that heart. He'll be dead in months. Why?" The Lord answered, "The boy, My lamb, shall return to My flock, for He has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb." The surgeon wept.. The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's parents sat across from him. The boy awoke and whispered, "Did you cut open my heart?" "Yes," said the surgeon. "What did you find?" asked the boy. "I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.

   Yay for manga!!! ^^

Wahoooooo!!! I finally went and spent some of my birthday money on manga!!! ^^ I'm so HAPPY!!! I got some really good stuff, and when I went to this one bookshop (didn't have any manga *sniffles*) the owner agreed to order me some Rurouni Kenshin ^^ YAY!!!

OK, to calm down and be rational. My friend came with me as well, and we ate Japanese food for lunch, like kimchi, and tofu, and this really good pickled stuff (I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's bamboo or some sort of vegetation ^^). Anyway, today went very well, and I actually only just got back from the car ^^.

Here's a funny story I got from a friend ^^

PECANS IN THE CEMETERY

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day, two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts. "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me," said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence. Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to investigate. Sure enough, he heard, "One for you, one for me. “One for you, one for me." He just knew what it was. He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around the bend he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along. "Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard! Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls." The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk." When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled slowly to the cemetery. Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for me. "One for you, one for me.." The old man whispered, "Boy, you've been tellin' me the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord." Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet were still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord. At last they heard, "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's go get those nuts by the fence and we'll be done." They say the old man made it back to town a full 5 minutes ahead of the kid on the bike.

^^ Smile, God Loves You!!! ^^

I hope that made you smile ^^
