Yes, I'm in one of those "I Want" moods! I want many many things! Here's the list:

Total? At least $5,000. I know, I'm one with expensive tastes. ^_^
Well, I have no idea what I'm going to do now... I need all this money and I can't work until I take a $300 set of two tests... Evil A+ cert! Maybe I can get hired somewhere to put this to use. Maybe DIT, Computers to Go, CompUSA, Best Buy.... Someone's bound to hire me! I've fixed my own computer for years on end and now I have a formal education in it! I should think I have a bit more experience than most other entry-level technicians... We'll have to see in June-ish. But before I go seeking a job, I'm going to get a good haircut. I don't really plan on one until then. I don't think I'd get hired if my hair looks like it does now then.
I haven't had my hair cut in about 6-8 months! I hate haircuts. Have I mentioned that before? I don't like how I don't know the people that are cutting my hair, and then they talk to me.... I just don't like to talk to people I don't know that well, unless we just click, you know. I don't want to be rude and tell them not to talk to me, so I just suffer through the time I'm in their funky lifty-spinny chair. That and I never know what I want done to my hair. All I know is I want it to be short enough that I won't have to get a haircut too often. And that I actually tell them. :)
I'm getting back into the "I want to be a photographer!!!!" mindset. I was looking for my camera today and finally found it about an hour ago. I was also reading on About.com and thought about how nice and crisp most people's pictures look compared to mine. I found out that it's the fact that my camera uses a CMOS image sensor the size of a spec of dust and has terribly long shutter delays on a slow image processor/main logic chip set. So thus, my images get a lot of noise and blur added to them. My dad's camera, however, is a little closer to a pro-level camera than mine, but still really far from it. As for the camera in the list above, I'd rather have it's 12.0MP relative, but that camera costs thousands of dollars...
Well, I'm not sure of the actual presence of school tomorrow... It's supposed to be really really cold.... Well, anywhoo, night!

Whooohoo!

Notice the post styles refresh? I hope so. It took me a good bit of analysis, but I found the solution to the problem I was having with it: Height and Width attributes needed the unit on them! So now I have the post styles right and it's not a fragmented table like the last post style. No need for my transparency doodad this time, no transparency there. :)

That's the highlight of my day. Besides that, I went driving in my schools parking lot again. My dad said I did a lot better than the time before. I practiced piano, too, which I'm supposedly getting better at. Whilst all this is going on I have been desperately trying to redesign my website, often getting new ideas halfway through completing it that require going back to square one. I still have to get out of square one again since the latest "revision" of the idea. The idea, to me, would be to make it as "easy to use" as a Mac, thus prompting the skin of a Mac. First it was going to be based off an iPod, then I decided on the actual iMac rather than the iPod. I still must make up my mind. Then there's the curiousity of whether to use iframes or not. 'Tis very compilicated.

Grammar question: When typing, how many spaces are required after a punctuation mark?

Bored, I built up plans for another computer. This one is actually a really nice one though. It has a higher end motherboard and a dual-core processor, but otherwise it's just whatever I could find to match the case I chose for it, which is but the silver version of my computer's case. The motherboard is an Asus Crosshair, AMD based. (Sorry about their site, it's in Flash.) I'll just list out all the parts here:
  • Asus Crosshair SLI Ready Motherboard
  • AMD Athlon64 X2-3800+ (2.0 Dual-Core, like \\BOB)
  • Devanni Nitrous 7105 Silver case
  • 320GB 7200RPM WD HDD
  • Generic 500w Power Supply
  • Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard (Hey, it matches!)
  • Generic Wireless G PCI, to be upgraded to 802.11n once out of Draft
  • nVidia GeForce 7300GS 256MB Graphics
  • Two generic 1GB DDR2 DIMMs
  • CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive
  • Logitech G7 Gaming Mouse (Not that I'm much of a gamer, it's other things about the particualar model.)
  • Gateway (Gross!) 17" LCD (It was cheap and had good reviews...)
  • Either Vista when it becomes available or XP Media Center. Won't be built until at least after June.
  • nVidia DualTV MCE Tuner card

That about kills the list there. But now I need to find something to do... It's only 2:42 and I'm bored but not tired.

Sometimes Apple comes up with really great ideas. iPod, USB, FireWire/IEEE1394, the Macintosh. Also, they have this neat little feature in the iTunes store: "Just for You! (Beta)." It analyzes what you buy in their store and what you tell it you own to recommend music you might like. It's very nifty, but this time, I found something that I think is totally awesome. It's a song called Gone by Sun. I have been memorizing the lyrics and even transcribed them myself since I couldn't find them online. So if there's typos or general nonsense, complain to me. If it's what's actually being said, complain to the artist.

Anywho, I don't have much to post about except that MAIN is having some sort of fit. It seems to be having lots of "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress." even if it's just sitting there. I don't even know what that means!

I couldn't watch as you just walked away.
Without a smile without a word to say.
And here I thought that things were well today.
But it doesn't even matter anyway.

Even if I cry
You'd still be gone.
Even if I change today forever
Even if I lie
You'd still be gone
Even if I'm someone else
You'd still be gone.

I always knew that things would end this way.
Without a smile without a word to say.
I'm sorry for the mistake I made that day.
But it doesn't even matter anyway.

Even if I cry
You'd still be gone.
Even if I changed today forever
Even if I lie
You'd still be gone.
Even if I'm someone else.
You'd still be gone.

Even if I cry
You'd still be gone.
Even if I changed today forever
Even if I lie
You'd still be gone.
Even if I'm someone else
You'd still be gone.

Still be....
Gone....

Return.

:(

I spent money today at DIT. More than I had actually planned on. Here's what I bought:
  • Devanni Nitrous 7150(?) Black Aluminum Mesh Case, $88
  • Black Sony Floppy Disk Drive, $10
  • Black LG CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive, $40

I had to buy a new floppy drive because the new case didn't come with little hiders and it would look bad to have the beige against it.

And I had fun with the front panel USB connector. It was designed for a sane motherboard, but of course, mine is not. I had to drill out the key and re-wire the connector. It took over two hours to rewire the thing. Now I still can't use the IEEE 1394 or the front audio because my motherboard doesn't support them... Erg.

That's not to mention my fun with the motherboard and IO shield. The IO shield that came with the computer is very similar to the one that goes with the motherboard, but the case has the pop-in IO shield, like most recent cases. When I took the case out of the box, the IO shield popped out and into the case. It took at least an hour to get the thing back in. Then, I tried to install my motherboard, and it pulled out the IO shield again. Then I realized that I was missing a standoff, plunked it in, and finally got it all in. Then I tried to toy with the front panel a bit. The bezel has a blue light that shines at their name in the bottom of the case. I wanted to spice it up and add some other colors, maybe even relocate the HDD LED. Then I noticed that the LCD on the case had the HDD icon, but it didn't work if you connected the actual LED to the designated spot on the back. So I said screw it and it's just the LCD now. Then I tried to use the Power LED's other connector on the motherboard, and then the actual power LED doesn't light, but my amber HDD LED from my old case does. I think I need to fing some real modding supplies, not just reusing the stuff I already have. XD

Well, It's after 3, so I should hit the hay.

Seeya.

I do too much...

Well, I'm planning on writing a story that uses the Notes feature of an iPod to do cool things. The Notes feature can link to music and other text files on the iPod, so if I write a story that uses those things, I can give the illusion of being just that little bit closer to actually being there. You know, make the reader use their real sense of hearing and their imagination too. How cool would that be? Interesting, if I do say so myself.

P.S. Please read the other post below this. (Disclaimer: If you want to.)

I started something new...

--REMOVED--
It probably won't be finished until at least June, more than likely. I have to keep up on the school work, you know. :)

Speaking of school work, the first essay that I turned in in English class came back a while ago. It wasn't the first one she asked for, but the first one I did. Guess what I got on it: 44/50. She docked me only for not completely answering the question and not using enough transition sentences. But guess what the comment on it was: (This isn't quite a direct quote, as I don't have the paper, but it's close.)
"Good job! Stick to the prompt and expand your ideas more, you cut them too short."

I like that sort of comment. It makes me feel special. I guess what I mean is that I like to hear that I should expand, but I have to be careful when I do, because sometimes I am known to dawdle on subjects that aren't really terribly important. I can tell now that she likes me to talk a little bit more about each thing.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I beat Half-Life 2 already. XD!!!

Sorry.

My apologies for falling off the face of the internet. It's two days after Christmas by my mind, and I haven't done a lot... But here's what I got for Christmas.
  • Ford Mustang R/C car
  • Logitech FreePulse Bluetooth headphones
  • Half Life 2: Game of the Year Edition
  • Microsoft Media Center Remote
  • Evanescence - Fallen
  • Nelly Furtado - Loose
  • 20 Questions thingy
  • $30 iTunes card
  • Xbox 360 PRO system W/ some basketball game (For my sister and I)
  • an extra controller for the Xbox 360 (For my sister and I)
  • Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox (Lionhead Studios)
  • Need For Speed Carbon for Xbox 360 (Electronic Arts)

I think that's everything, and you can't forget all the food you could eat! We all had to work on the dinner, since my mom's foot was acting up again. No accidents with dish soap like on the Fourth of July. :)

I have no excuse for my absence. Plain and simple. I just have not been myself this month. I was depressed enough that I think people could tell. I mean, I'm pretty much always somewhat depressed, but I usually can hide it pretty well. But it it gets to be too much, people can tell. And I think people could tell. But at least I don't feel that way now. I don't know what I feel now, but I don't feel too depressed.

I don't think I posted this here, but there are two, possibly three, people at my school who know my secret. Katy, some other kid on my bus who I kinda know, and possibly my ex-girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. He says he "hacked" my site and found it when he was a freshman, but I know that's crap because he is a junior and I didn't start my site until he was a sophomore. And he didn't really hack my site, he just saw the link in the source code of the page. Loser.

Well, I have no idea what else to say, so, bye!

It's late/early.... I'm cold... I'm bored... yeah.

I got interested in iMac manuals again... I read nearly the entire user's guide to Apple's Intel-based line of iMacs. I know I'm such a geek. :)
