   Hi! My niece is here.
Matthew 28: 9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Mark 16: 6-7, 9
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
[...]
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Luke 24: 5, 46-47
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
[...]
And [Christ] said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

John 4: 14, 23-26, 34
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
[...]
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
For unto such hath God promised his Spirit. And they who worship him, must worship in spirit and in truth.
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

[...]
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Just stop and think about it. What a generous and unselfish sacrifice the Lord gave--He died for us, to Atone for our sins and provide the Resurrection. Who couldn't love a Brother such as that, and follow Him?

Love and pocket hugs. God blesses you, and may Jesus Christ be with you. Love.

"The gospel of Jesus Christ is the way of peace. To the extent we follow it and incorporate it in our lives, to this extent will we be blessed and prospered."

   It's a still small voice that speaks to us from God, that encourages us to do good and righteous things--sometimes things we wouldn't think of or don't understand that reason for. But as long as that little thought isn't against God's commandments, it's worth a try. It just might be the Holy Ghost.

1 John 4:7, 9-11, 16, 19
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
[...]
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

[...]
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
[...]
We love him, because he first loved us.

D&C 90: 11
For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fulness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language, through those who are ordained unto this power, by the administration of the Comforter, shed forth upon them for the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Doctrine & Covenants 15:6
And now, behold, I say unto you, that the thing which will be of the most worth unto you will be to declare repentance unto this people, that you may bring souls unto me, that you may rest with them in the kingdom of my Father. Amen.

Doctrine & Covenants 18:10-15, 17-18
Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;
For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him.
And he hath risen again from the dead, that he might bring all men unto him, on conditions of repentance.
And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!

Wherefore, you are called to cry repentance unto this people.
And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!
[...]
Behold, you have my gospel before you, and my rock, and my salvation.
Ask the Father in my name, in faith believing that you shall receive, and you shall have the Holy Ghost, which manifesteth all things which are expedient unto the children of men.

1 Nephi 11:21-23
And the angel said unto me: Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! Knowest thou the meaning of the tree which thy father saw [in a vision]?
And I answered him, saying: Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things.
And he spake unto me, saying: Yea, and the most joyous to the soul.

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

God and Jesus Christ love every one of us so much that they would have given the plan of salvation, the Atonement, and the Resurrection for just any one of us, personally, and so for all of us. So also They are concerned in our personal lives, hear our prayers, and will guide us. It's our turn now to accept it eternally. They love us. Let's help each other. Love and hugs.

Equus: Congratulations, Refi-chan! And yes, Katocool, water is neutral, neither acidic or basic. Thanks for the comments, friends. ^_^ I'm doing personal studies right now. Some scripture studies, and also I'm learning Arabic (or trying to) and studying biology. And it's fun! ^_^

Doctrine & Covenants 90:15
And set in order the churches, and study and learn, and become acquainted with all good books, and with languages, tongues, and people.

Xihuitl: And Kurama-clone followed Kakashi-clone and Kyo-clone the other day, but he won't tell us what they found. He seems upset at Kakashi-clone and K-C, but he won't tell us anything. >.>

Equus: So we'll just tackle them when they come to dinner this evening and demand an explanation.

Emeraulde: (looks up from a clover he's eating and sniffs) I think Haru-clone is burning the salad again.

Equus: Augh! (runs to the kitchen)

Xihuitl: God loves you all. Take care, and may you feel Jesus Christ's love and Their Holy Spirit's guidance. Take care, and pocket hugs. ^_^

"Desiring wisdom, because various creeds each claimed to have the truth, young Joseph determined to go into the woods and pray to the Lord.
"This he did, and he experienced a vision in response to his prayer. God the Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, the Resurrected Lord, appeared before him and spoke with him.
"Other manifestations followed. Among these was securing from a hill near his home golden plates which he translated by the gift and power of God.
"Heavenly messengers appeared to him, bestowing upon him keys of the priesthood and the authority to speak in the name of God.
"How could anyone believe such a story? It seemed preposterous. And yet these people believed as they were instructed. Faith came into their hearts to accept that which they had been taught. It was a miracle. It was a gift from God. They could not believe it, and yet they did.
[...]
"I am not surprised that comparatively few people join the Church from among the large number on whom the missionaries call. There’s no faith. On the other hand, I am amazed that so many do. It is a marvelous and wonderful thing that thousands are touched by the miracle of the Holy Spirit, that they believe and accept and become members. They are baptized. Their lives are forever touched for good. Miracles occur. A seed of faith comes into their hearts. It enlarges as they learn. And they accept principle upon principle, until they have every one of the marvelous blessings that come to those who walk with faith in this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"It is faith that is the converter. It is faith that is the teacher.
"Thus it has been from the beginning.
"I marvel at the quality of the men and women who accepted Joseph Smith’s testimony and came into the Church. They included such men as Brigham Young, the Pratt brothers, Willard Richards, John Taylor, Wilford Woodruff, Lorenzo Snow, the wives of these men, and a host of others. They were people of substance. Many of them were well educated. They were blessed of the Lord with the faith to accept the story which they heard. When they received the message, when the gift of faith touched their lives, they were baptized.
[...]
"This precious and marvelous gift of faith, this gift from God our Eternal Father, is still the strength of this work and the quiet vibrancy of its message. Faith underlies it all."

   Hi-za!
"The decision to change one's life and come unto Christ is, perhaps, the most important decision of mortality."
~ President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, May 1997, 44

Alma 39:12-19
And now the Spirit of the Lord doth say unto me: Command thy children to do good, lest they lead away the hearts of many people to destruction; therefore I command you, my son, in the fear [reverence] of God, that ye refrain from your iniquities;
That ye turn to the Lord with all your mind, might, and strength; that ye lead away the hearts of no more to do wickedly; but rather return unto them, and acknowledge your faults and that wrong which ye have done.
Seek not after riches nor the vain things of this world; for behold, you cannot carry them with you.
And now, my son, I would say somewhat unto you concerning the coming of Christ. Behold, I say unto you, that it is he that surely shall come to take away the sins of the world; yea, he cometh to declare glad tidings of salvation unto his people.
And now, my son, this was the ministry unto which ye were called, to declare these glad tidings unto this people, to prepare their minds; or rather that salvation might come unto them, that they may prepare the minds of their children to hear the word at the time of his coming.
And now I will ease your mind somewhat on this subject. Behold, you marvel why these things should be known so long beforehand. Behold, I say unto you, is not a soul at this time as precious unto God as a soul will be at the time of his coming?
Is it not as necessary that the plan of redemption should be made known unto this people as well as unto their children?
Is it not as easy at this time for the Lord to send his angel to declare these glad tidings unto us as unto our children, or as after the time of his coming?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope you got to read the scripture. It's a good one, even if long. No word from the bank yet. Oh, well. But another job sent a form letter saying they got my resume and will contact me if interested. ^_^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Fact of the day: Arabic, English, the Latin-based languages, and probably more are all descended from the same Indo-European language ancestor. This becomes apparent in some things like the alphabet. For example, alpha and beta are the first letters of the Greek alphabet. (I think it's Greek.) 'aalif and baa' (?) are the first letters of the Arabic alphabet. And when you look at certain words, you can also see the roots. It's either milk (also spelled milch, I think, in the Old Testament) or kine (cattle) that shows this in various languages.

(Provided by my new Arabic book and accumulated knowledge from college, especially one English class.

God and Jesus Christ love you. May you feel that and follow Their Holy Spirit. Remember, if it comes to your mind and is not against God's commandments, chances are it's the Holy Spirit. Follow it. Love and God be with you. Hugs and pocket glomps!

   Hi-za hi!
The great work of moving the gospel forward has in the past, does now, and will in the future depend upon ordinary members.
~ President Boyd K. Packer, Ensign, Nov. 2004, 87

Alma 31: 32-38
O Lord, wilt thou comfort my soul, and give unto me success, and also my fellow laborers who are with me[...]even all these wilt thou comfort, O Lord. Yea, wilt thou comfort their souls in Christ.
Wilt thou grant unto them that they may have strength, that they may bear their afflictions which shall come upon them because of the iniquities of this people.
O Lord, wilt thou grant unto us that we may have success in bringing them again unto thee in Christ.
Behold, O Lord, their souls are precious, and many of them are our brethren; therefore, give unto us, O Lord, power and wisdom that we may bring these, our brethren, again unto thee.

Now it came to pass that when Alma had said these words, that he clapped his hands upon all them who were with him. And behold, as he clapped his hands upon them, they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
And after that they did separate themselves one from another, taking no thought for themselves what they should eat, or what they should drink, or what they should put on.
And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea, and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ. Now this was according to the prayer of Alma; and this because he prayed in faith.

Alma 33: 8-9, 11
Yea, thou art merciful unto thy children when they cry unto thee, to be heard of thee and not of men, and thou wilt hear them.
Yea, O God, thou hast been merciful unto me, and heard my cries in the midst of thy congregations.
[...]
And thou didst hear me because of mine afflictions and my sincerity; and it is because of thy Son that thou hast been thus merciful unto me, therefore I will cry unto thee in all mine afflictions, for in thee is my joy; for thou hast turned thy judgments away from me, because of thy Son.

Fact of the day: Most acids and bases rely on the nature of water. Acids have the ability to release a positive hydrogen ion (H+). Bases have the ability to accept a hydrogen ion because they contain a negative hydroxide ion (OH-). So water, which is H20, is neutral. I don't understand why water works this way, but it does, as my dad told me. Because I was (and still am) confuzzled by the acids and bases.

(This fact of the day provided by my biology book. Again. XD )

God be with you. Jesus Christ loves you. Let's help each other and follow Them in faith, living belief in truth. Love and hugs.

   Love and bless!
Alma 26: 35-37
Now have we not reason to rejoice? Yea, I say unto you, there never were men that had so great reason to rejoice as we, since the world began; yea, and my joy is carried away, even unto boasting in my God; for he has all power, all wisdom, and all understanding; he comprehendeth all things, and he is a merciful Being, even unto salvation, to those who will repent and believe on his name.
Now if this is boasting, even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a branch of the tree of Israel, and has been lost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, wanderers in a strange land.
Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen.

Jacob 2: 17-19
Think of your brethren like unto yourselves, and be familiar with all and free with your substance, that they may be rich like unto you.
But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God.
And after ye have obtained a hope in Christ ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them for the intent to do good——to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick and the afflicted.

2 Nephi 14: 2-3, 5-6
In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious; the fruit of the earth excellent and comely to them that are escaped of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, they that are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem shall be called holy, every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem—
[...]
And the Lord will create upon every dwelling-place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory of Zion shall be a defence.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and a covert from storm and from rain.

Fact of the day: Something as seemingly insignificant as an undershot jaw can be more serious. Our Jing has an undershot jaw, which results in his teeth not lining up correctly. This means that he can't always chew as normal, and if it were extreme, it could be even worse--dangerous, I think, to the health of his mouth. Fortunately, Jing's okay so far.

God and Jesus Christ love us all. Remember that. And may you feel and follow Their Spirit's guidance. Love and hugs.

Emeraulde: ^///^ Thanks, Refinnej. *shuffles hooves bashfully*

Kurama-clone: Here are your pocket hugs for the day. Further updates later.

   Late work day....
"We must be humble and conscientious. The honor and the glory of all that is good goes to God."
~ Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, Ensign, May 2000, 75

1 Chronicles 16:8-36
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

Equus: Well, for some reason I'm working the afternoon-evening shift today, so I have plenty of time this morning to do stuff. Since I won't have much this evening, since I get off work at 10 pm....x.x And just a note, I saw an Asian boy the other day--a young teenager--but with his hair over half his face, kinda like Vahn from Vision of Escaflowne. It looked really good on this kid. I thought, "Wow, he's like an anime character--and it works!"

Xihuitl: Anyway...We got the scanner hooked up, so we'll show you little Emeraulde, finally. Equus sketched him last week, but the scanner wasn't hooked up, so she didn't get the picture uploaded.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Equus: There he is! Oh, and Kurama-clone agreed to trail Kyo-clone and Kakashi-clone for us today.

Xihuitl: He'd rather just ask them, but we've tried that already. They just get shifty-eyed and make poor excuses.

Equus: On a more serious note, please visit Alex's site today. His post is in honor of the Hurricane Katrina victims.

God bless us all. He and Jesus Christ love us.

Equus: Oh, hi, Emeraulde. Hi, Haru-clone. What's up?

Emeraulde: *stamps a hoof* Are we going soon?

Equus: *smacks forehead* That's right. We're going blueberry-picking, and then we're having a picnic. So we'll see you all later.

Haru-clone: Here are your pocket hugs. Have a nice day.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you all, and want and will help you come home to Them. Follow Their Holy Spirit to be part of Their people. Love and hugs.

To quote Skyelark, may God give you a BIG SPIRITUAL HUG!

Fact of the day: Plants are autotrophs, which literally means "self-feeders". They "synthesize their own organic molecules from simple raw materials. They make their own food. Animals, on the other hand, are heterotrophs ("other-feeders") who "obtain energy from foods". Plants make it up for themselves. Animals just take it from the plants (even via other animals).

Testimony
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true Church on the earth in these latter days. In my Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen.

May God be with you. He and Jesus Christ love you. May you feel and hearken to Their Holy Spirit. Love and take care.

   Hello! We're all here and alive. XD
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and Their Holy Spirit are here for you. Hearken to Them.

Quotes:

As my inflated tube bobbed up and down, I was about to enter the swiftest portion of the river just at the head of the swimming hole when I heard frantic cries, “Save her! Save her!” A young lady swimmer, accustomed to the still waters of a gymnasium swimming pool, had fallen from the rock into the treacherous whirlpools. None of the party could swim to save her. Suddenly I appeared on the potentially tragic scene. I saw the top of her head disappearing under the water for the third time, there to descend to a watery grave. I stretched forth my hand, grasped her hair, and lifted her over the side of the tube and into my arms. At the pool’s lower end, the water was slower as I paddled the tube, with my precious cargo, to her waiting relatives and friends. They threw their arms around the water-soaked girl and kissed her, crying, “Thank God! Thank God you are safe!” Then they hugged and kissed me. I was embarrassed and quickly returned to the tube and continued my float down to the Vivian Park bridge. The water was frigid, but I was not cold, for I was filled with a warm feeling. I realized that I had participated in the saving of a life. Heavenly Father had heard the cries, “Save her! Save her,” and permitted me, a deacon, to float by at precisely the time I was needed. That day I learned that the sweetest feeling in mortality is to realize that God, our Heavenly Father, knows each one of us and generously permits us to see and to share His divine power to save.
[...]
The lesson for us to learn is found in the sixteenth chapter of First Samuel, verse seven: “Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
[...A]ll of us united as one can qualify for the guiding influence of our Heavenly Father as we pursue our respective callings. We are engaged in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We, like those of olden times, have answered His call. We are on His errand. We shall succeed in the solemn charge given by Mormon to declare the Lord’s word among His people. He wrote: “Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life.
May we ever remember the truth, “Who honors God, God honors.” In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
~ President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, Nov. 1995, 49

Joshua 24:14-18, 21-26
Now therefore fear [have reverence to] the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
[...] therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
[...]
And the people said unto Joshua, [...] we will serve the LORD.
And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.

Fact of the day:
The official animal of Scotland isn't actually the unicorn but the lion. I'm not sure, but it may be the lion rampant. It's the rearing lion, not the "Richard the Lion-Hearted" lion.

God loves you all. Take care, and pocket hugs. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and Their Holy Spirit love you, and may you feel Their love and guidance. ^_^ Glomps!

   Hello! I'm doing okay today. :D
1 Nephi 17:35-36
Behold, the Lord esteemeth all flesh in one; he that is righteous is favored of God. [...] the Lord did [...] bless [the land] unto our fathers; yea, he [...] did bless it unto our fathers unto their obtaining power over it.
Behold, the Lord hath created the earth that it should be inhabited; and he hath created his children that they should possess it.

Alma 19:33-36
And it came to pass that when Ammon arose he also administered unto them, and also did all the servants of Lamoni; and they did all declare unto the people the selfsame thing—-that their hearts had been changed; that they had no more desire to do evil.
And behold, many did declare unto the people that they had seen angels and had conversed with them; and thus they had told them things of God, and of his righteousness.
And it came to pass that there were many that did believe in their words; and as many as did believe were baptized; and they became a righteous people, and they did establish a church among them.
And thus the work of the Lord did commence among the Lamanites; thus the Lord did begin to pour out his Spirit upon them; and we see that his arm is extended to all people who will repent and believe on his name.

No service in the Church or in the community transcends that given in the home.
~ President Boyd K. Packer, Ensign, Nov. 1997, 7

Fact of the day: When birdwatching, especially in wooded or brushy areas, it is better to know birdsongs and calls to identify a bird. Also, finding them so you can see them as well is ideal. Be aware of as many facts when you see a bird as possible--size, shape of the beak, all the different colors and where they are on the body, even the color of the beak can help. Some birds look similar, so noting as many details as possible is worth it. But they're some of God's beautiful creations and worth watching and listening to.

   Last thoughts for the day....
"Love is one of the chief characteristics of Deity, and ought to be manifested by those who aspire to be the sons of God. A man filled with the love of God, is not content with blessing his family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race. This has been your feeling, and caused you to forego the pleasures of home, that you might be a blessing to others, who are candidates for immortality, but strangers to truth; and for so doing, I pray that heaven's choicest blessings may rest upon you."
October 19, 1840
Nauvoo, Illinois
Joseph Smith
History of the Church, 4:227

"There is a love from God that should be exercised toward those of our faith, who walk uprightly, which is peculiar to itself, but it is without prejudice; it also gives scope to the mind, which enables us to conduct ourselves with greater liberality towards all that are not of our faith, than what they exercise towards one another. These principles approximate nearer to the mind of God, because it is like God, or Godlike."

"When we live our religion, when we walk according to the light of the Spirit of God, when we purge ourselves [of] impurity and corruption, and the sweet whispering of the Spirit of the Lord pours intelligence into our bosoms, broods over us, causing peace and joy to be with us, we have then, more or less, a faint glimpse of those things that are laid up for the faithful, and it is then we feel as though we and all that we have are in the hands of the Lord and that we are ready to offer ourselves [as] a sacrifice for the accomplishment of his purposes upon the earth."
~ President John Taylor

"In a world of turmoil and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to make our families the center of our lives and the top of our priorities. Families lie at the center of our Heavenly Father's plan. This statement from 'The Family: A Proclamation to the World' declares the responsibilities of parents to their families:
"'Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord" (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives--mothers and fathers--will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations' (Ensign, Nov. 1995, 102)."

Equus: So another day has come and gone.

Xihuitl: At least you got your inbox cleaned out a little bit. Though you could have done more things, too.

Equus: ^^; True. Jing's tired; he and Mom had puppy class, tonight. He's still shy, but he had a few good socialization points before class.

Xihuitl: And Equus finally finished a quick sketch of Emeraulde, so as soon as I can convince her to hook up the scanner and upload the picture, we'll share it with you.

Emeraulde: You don't need to, you know. ^/^

Xihuitl: But my dear little cousin, they don't even know what you are yet.

Emeraulde: (blushes again and slips out into the garden to hide under a rose leaf)

Equus: A blush looks really weird under green hair.

Xihuitl: It does not. It just makes him look...purple. Hm. Anyway, love to you all.

Take care, and may you feel God and Jesus Christ's love and Their Holy Spirit's guidance. Love. Pocket glomps and hugs.
