   Hi-za hi. ^_^
Heavenly Fahter and Jesus Christ are real and truly love us. Follow Them, and you will find peace and joy in this life and the next--the one true way to be happy in eternity, and with you loved ones. Read Their words, Their scriptures. In my Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen.

Read on, please. ^_^

"In our hearts do we feel a sense of gratitude and devotion to the Father? Are we of one heart with Him to whom we owe everything? The test of our devotion to the Lord seems to be the way we serve Him."
~Elder L. Tom Perry, Ensign, Nov. 1998, 74

Numbers 15:13-16
All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

Numbers 15:22-29
22 ¶ And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,
23 Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner•, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be bforgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:
26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
27 ¶ And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

There is one way that works for everyone. "Every [one] has different circumstances, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ covers them all." Paraphrase from a General Authority at a previous General Conference. Read up on it. It's true.

Update

Xihuitl: Equus has less than two weeks to clean her room--well, at least straighten it up--before her friend Jusea comes.

Equus runs around anime-cleaning. The image turns to dust.

Xihuitl: Can you tell how well she's doing at this?

Equus: ^^; Heh.

Kurama-clone: Miss Equus, wasn't your room supposed to be cleaned as a Christmas present to your mother?

Equus: meep

Kakashi-clone: Christmas? For 2005 or 2006?

Kyo-clone: 2005.

Equus slinks into a corner, curls up, and hides. Xihuitl stomps over, grabs the back of Equus's shirt with her teeth, and drags the girl out.

Xihuitl: If you're going to sulk, you can do it while you clean your room.

Equus: Yes'm.

Xihuitl: Thanks for your well-wishes, guys. Equus's upcoming visitor is one of her absolute best friends from college. Refi-chan knows her. She's never been to a Highland Festival. CTRNikkiM (hugs!) commented about Highland Festivals. What are they? They can also be called Highland Games, or at least part of them--where men (mostly) participate in traditional Highland sports. These are heavy-weight athletics, like the hammer toss and the caber toss (where they throw a small telephone-type pole). At festivals, there are also dancing and bagpiping competitions, musical performances, and booths for clan, history, and shopping. Fests are lots of fun. They also tend to have sheepdog demonstrations generally featuring Border collies, which our Mudpie and Blue are. ^_^ And thankee, kuraiangel and katocool, as well.

Fact of the Day

Cacti have massive root systems (relatively speaking) that lie very close to the ground surface and cover a large area, compared to plants with deeper-reaching tap roots, etc. Plants, and animals, utilize their abilities for certain situations.

Hasn't our God created a marvelous universe, in its vastness and beauty?

Love, hugs, and pocket hugs. Take care, and may you recognize God our Heavenly Father's and Jesus Christ's love. Glomps! ^_^ Faith!

Always feel free to ask questions. ^_^ Just ask politely, please. ^.~ Love and hugs, friends.

   Just to say
Dad and I watched Ladyhawke tonight. An awesome movie, with very little bad language, almost no blood in the violence, and very little "indecency". (The worst amount of skin shown is when a monk is taking an arrow out of the woman's shoulder.) Beautiful music and horses. And a young Matthew Broderick. ^.~

We also did our family scripture study, and this bit is about death and the resurrection. I agree with President Woodruff--why shouldn't we believe in life after death? Why would God give us bodies and this life only for us to then face utter oblivion? Does it make sense.

And if that were the case, why would Christ come and die for us and be resurrected to live again? Which He did do for us. So we will live again, to--with Him and Heavenly Father, if we are faithful.

John 3:16-17

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you. May you recognize Their love and Their guidance through the Holy Ghost--and follow it! Love, hugs, and pocket hugs. Glomp!

Hugs!
2 Nephi 9

6 For as death hath passed upon all men, to fulfil the merciful plan of the great Creator, there must needs be a power of resurrection, and the resurrection must needs come unto man by reason of the fall; and the fall came by reason of transgression; and because man became fallen they were cut off from the presence of the Lord.
7 Wherefore, it must needs be an infinite atonement—save it should be an infinite atonement this corruption could not put on incorruption. Wherefore, the first judgment which came upon man must needs have remained to an endless duration. And if so, this flesh must have laid down to rot and to crumble to its mother earth, to rise no more.
[...]
10 O how great the goodness of our God, who prepareth a way for our escape from the grasp of this awful monster; yea, that monster, death and hell, which I call the death of the body, and also the death of the spirit.
[...]
50 Come, my brethren, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come buy and eat; yea, come buy wine and milk without money and without price.
51 Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy. Hearken diligently unto me, and remember the words which I have spoken; and come unto the Holy One of Israel, and feast upon that which perisheth not, neither can be corrupted, and let your soul delight in fatness.
52 Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice.

Isn't hope great? ^_^ Love, and may you recognize God our Father's and Jesus Christ's love and Holy Spirit. Pocket hugs and glomps!

Today's my day off. ^_^ I'm cleaning a bit in my room. My friend is visiting from school in a couple weeks, and we're going to a Highland Fest. Funness! I'm thankful. Love and hugs to you all.

Fact of the day: If you focus a strong telescope (profesional astronomer type) on the black spot amongst stars, you'll see even more stars and wondrous things. God's creation is beautiful and beyond our current ability to comprehend. But someday, I hope I can. It is beautiful. ^_^ Love and hugs, and God be with you all.

And thanks to Minamoto and CTRNikkiM for your comments. Love to you guys, too!

Happy Mother's Day
No, I don't usually post on Sundays. But here goes.

2 Nephi 11:4-8
Behold, my soul delighteth in proving unto my people the truth of the coming of Christ; for, for this end hath the law of Moses been given; and all things which have been given of God from the beginning of the world, unto man, are the typifying of him.
And also my soul delighteth in the covenants of the Lord which he hath made to our fathers; yea, my soul delighteth in his grace, and in his justice, and power, and mercy in the great and eternal plan of deliverance from death.
And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that save Christ should come all men must perish.
For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.
And now I write some of the words of Isaiah, that whoso of my people shall see these words may lift up their hearts and rejoice for all men. Now these are the words, and ye may liken them unto you and unto all men.

Alma 56
Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.
And they rehearsed unto me the words of their amothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.

Love to you all! Remember, we all have mothers--of the body, of the mind, of the heart. And to all you girls out there, you are and have the potential to be mothers--of the body, of the mind, of the heart. God's love be with you!

"Once we know a spiritual truth we must choose whether we will conform our lives to it."
~Elder Henry B. Eyring, Ensign, Nov. 1998, 34

Motherhood is one of the greatest jobs in the world. It's one of the toughest, but it's also one of the most rewarding. The only things that come close to it are fatherhood and helping to bring others to salvation. That is part of parenting. Loving, nurturing, caring, and teaching in love. God bless you all today and everyday. Jesus Christ loved His mother, and He loves us all. He respected and obeyed His parents, both His mortal mother Mary and guardian Joseph, and His (and our) Heavenly Father. And He helped Mary and watched out for her. Any questions? ^.~ Just ask us--and most importantly, ask God our Father. Love, hugs, and pocket hugs. Take care.

Hello again. ^_^
Well, good news and bad news. I got the money transferred on Thursday, so it should have been good yesterday (I hope). But I got another notice in the mail today saying I had an overdrawn check...even though on-line it says it's fine. o.O Well, here's hoping it'll be okay.

I'm trying to clean up the house before my parents get home tomorrow. I vaccuumed, since my mom told me to, and now I'm gonna catch up on dishes and clean the stove and straighten up stuff. Love and talk to you later.

Revelation of John

And...^_^

"Priesthood blessings are the great equalizer. Those blessings are the same for men and women, for boys and girls; they are the same for married and single, rich and poor, for the intellectual and the illiterate, for the well-known and the obscure.
"I am grateful that through the infinite fairness and love of God, all men and women were given equal partnership, gifts, blessings, and potential through priesthood ordinances and spiritual gifts. Because of the priesthood, which is woven in and around and through our lives, every power, every covenant we need to do our life's work and walk back to our heavenly home has been poured out upon our heads."

~Julie B. Beck, "An Outpouring of Blessings," Ensign, May 2006, 13 (emphasis added)

Fact of the day: Arabian horses have black skin to protect them from the sun. Polar bears, Starflower told me, have black skin and transparent hair. (Or something like that.) The black skin makes sense, because snow can cause sunglare.

Love and pocket hugs! God and Jesus Christ love you, too! May you feel Their love, Holy Spirit, and guidance. Bless.

   Love!
Mosiah 26
11 And he said unto the king: Behold, here are many whom we have brought before thee, who are accused of their brethren; yea, and they have been taken in divers iniquities. And they do not repent of their iniquities; therefore we have brought them before thee, that thou mayest judge them according to their crimes.
12 But king Mosiah said unto Alma: Behold, I judge them not; therefore I deliver them into thy hands to be judged.
13 And now the spirit of Alma was again troubled; and he went and inquired of the Lord what he should do concerning this matter, for he feared that he should do wrong in the sight of God.
14 And it came to pass that after he had poured out his whole soul to God, the voice of the Lord came to him, saying:
15 Blessed art thou, Alma, and blessed are they who were baptized in the waters of Mormon. Thou art blessed because of thy exceeding faith in the words alone of my servant Abinadi.
16 And blessed are they because of their exceeding faith in the words alone which thou hast spoken unto them.
17 And blessed art thou because thou hast established a church among this people; and they shall be established, and they shall be my people.
18 Yea, blessed is this people who are willing to bear my name; for in my name shall they be called; and they are mine.
19 And because thou hast inquired of me concerning the transgressor, thou art blessed.
20 Thou art my servant; and I covenant with thee that thou shalt have eternal life; and thou shalt serve me and go forth in my name, and shalt gather together my sheep.
21 And he that will hear my voice shall be my sheep; and him shall ye receive into the church, and him will I also receive.
22 For behold, this is my church; whosoever is baptized shall be baptized unto repentance. And whomsoever ye receive shall believe in my name; and him will I freely forgive.
23 For it is I that taketh upon me the sins of the world; for it is I that hath created them; and it is I that granteth unto him that believeth unto the end a place at my right hand.
24 For behold, in my name are they called; and if they know me they shall come forth, and shall have a place eternally at my right hand.
[...]
30 Yea, and as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me.
31 And ye shall also forgive one another your trespasses; for verily I say unto you, he that forgiveth not his neighbor’s trespasses when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation.
32 Now I say unto you, Go; and whosoever will not repent of his sins the same shall not be numbered among my people; and this shall be observed from this time forward.

Book of Enos
2 And I will tell you of the wrestle which I had before God, before I received a remission of my sins.
3 Behold, I went to hunt beasts in the forests; and the words which I had often heard my father speak concerning eternal life, and the joy of the saints, sunk deep into my heart.
4 And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.
5 And there came a voice unto me, saying: Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee, and thou shalt be blessed.
6 And I, Enos, knew that God could not lie; wherefore, my guilt was swept away.
7 And I said: Lord, how is it done?
8 And he said unto me: Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years pass away before he shall manifest himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith hath made thee whole.
9 Now, it came to pass that when I had heard these words I began to feel a desire for the welfare of my brethren, the Nephites; wherefore, I did pour out my whole soul unto God for them.
10 And while I was thus struggling in the spirit, behold, the voice of the Lord came into my mind again, saying: I will visit thy brethren according to their diligence in keeping my commandments. I have given unto them this land, and it is a holy land; and I curse it not save it be for the cause of iniquity; wherefore, I will visit thy brethren according as I have said; and their transgressions will I bring down with sorrow upon their own heads.
11 And after I, Enos, had heard these words, my faith began to be unshaken in the Lord; and I prayed unto him with many long strugglings for my brethren, the Lamanites.
12 And it came to pass that after I had prayed and labored with all diligence, the Lord said unto me: I will grant unto thee according to thy desires, because of thy faith.
13 And now behold, this was the desire which I desired of him—that if it should so be, that my people, the Nephites, should fall into transgression, and by any means be destroyed, and the Lamanites should not be destroyed, that the Lord God would preserve a record of my people, the Nephites; even if it so be by the power of his holy arm, that it might be brought forth at some future day unto the Lamanites, that, perhaps, they might be brought unto salvation—
14 For at the present our strugglings were vain in restoring them to the true faith. And they swore in their wrath that, if it were possible, they would destroy our records and us, and also all the traditions of our fathers.
15 Wherefore, I knowing that the Lord God was able to preserve our records, I cried unto him continually, for he had said unto me: Whatsoever thing ye shall ask in faith, believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it.
16 And I had faith, and I did cry unto God that he would preserve the records; and he covenanted with me that he would bring them forth unto the Lamanites in his own due time.
17 And I, Enos, knew it would be according to the covenant which he had made; wherefore my soul did rest.
18 And the Lord said unto me: Thy fathers have also required of me this thing; and it shall be done unto them according to their faith; for their faith was like unto thine.

Equus: Wow...I'm having financial problems now.

Xihuitl: But Equus, how often as your mother asked you if you had balanced your checkbook?

Equus: Heh. ^^; She's right, and I don't balance it. Meep. Katocool asked about the visit. Well, I hope Starflower had fun. ^_^ We did chores last night and this morning, stayed up way too late and slept in *^^;* and were late getting her to work because we couldn't find my car keys. But I know I said a couple prayers for help--and she very possibly did too--and we found them at last! We also, I remembered, had a key to the other car, though I am glad we didn't have to take it. That would not have been the best scenario overall. As it was, we got there, and I took the old dog, too. I picked up stamps and groceries, then got home and found out I'd overdrawn my checking account. So I'm trying to fix that now so it doesn't get any worse. Meepage.

Xihuitl: Thankfully it isn't any worse and she did find out. Love and hugs and pocket hugs to you all.

Equus: May you recognize God our Father and Jesus Christ's love for you, and Their guidance and Spirit. In my Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen. Glomp!

Love!

“If thou wilt do good, yea, and hold out faithful to the end, thou shalt be saved in the kingdom of God, which is the greatest of all the gifts of God; for there is no gift greater than the gift of salvation.” (Doctrine & Covenants 6:13.)
As we pursue our journeys, let us ever bear in mind that in train travel and in life, there are stations, there are departures, calls, schedules, and opportunities for being side-tracked and diverted. Wise is the individual who follows in his, the Savior’s, paths. Safety and joy belong to those who will come and follow him. I bear witness to you today that God is eternal. We are eternal, and God never intended for us to travel alone.
What is your destination? I humbly pray our Heavenly Father to help each one of us realize it is eternal life, exaltation in our Father’s kingdom. I bear you my witness that the gift of salvation is possible through this, the gospel of Jesus Christ, as we continue faithful, and I say it in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hi, hi, hi. ^_^ Glomps!
2 Nephi 7
4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season unto thee, O house of Israel. When ye are weary he waketh morning by morning. He waketh mine ear to hear as the learned.
5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 I gave my back to the smiter, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair. I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord God will help me, therefore shall I not be confounded. Therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8 And the Lord is near, and he justifieth me. [...]
9 For the Lord God will help me. [...]
10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness and hath no light?

2 Nephi 14
1 AND in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach.
2 In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious; the fruit of the earth excellent and comely to them that are escaped of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass, they that are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem shall be called holy, every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem—
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning.
5 And the Lord will create upon every dwelling-place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory of Zion shall be a defence.
6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and a covert from storm and from rain.

Hi!
Words of Mormon
3 And now, I speak somewhat concerning that which I have written; for after I had made an abridgment from the plates of Nephi, down to the reign of this king Benjamin, of whom Amaleki spake, I searched among the records which had been delivered into my hands, and I found these plates, which contained this small account of the prophets, from Jacob down to the reign of this king Benjamin, and also many of the words of Nephi.
4 And the things which are upon these plates pleasing me, because of the prophecies of the coming of Christ; and my fathers knowing that many of them have been fulfilled; yea, and I also know that as many things as have been prophesied concerning us down to this day have been fulfilled, and as many as go beyond this day must surely come to pass—
5 Wherefore, I chose these things, to finish my record upon them, which remainder of my record I shall take from the plates of Nephi; and I cannot write the hundredth part of the things of my people.
6 But behold, I shall take these plates, which contain these prophesyings and revelations, and put them with the remainder of my record, for they are choice unto me; and I know they will be choice unto my brethren.
7 And I do this for a wise purpose; for thus it whispereth me, according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me. And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will.
8 And my prayer to God is concerning my brethren, that they may once again come to the knowledge of God, yea, the redemption of Christ; that they may once again be a delightsome people.
9 And now I, Mormon, proceed to finish out my record, which I take from the plates of Nephi; and I make it according to the knowledge and the understanding which God has given me.

John 3:16-17

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Update!
1 Kings 19:11-13
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

1 John 10
1 VERILY, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Equus: We had a blast at the Highland Festival. We got to see Clan Ann Drumma (which changed their name u.u) and I got a Highland dress. Yeah!

Xihuitl: She wore it to church yesterday, and all the rest of the day.

Equus: Yep! It's pretty and fun and comfy.

Xihuitl: And she slept in it. Of course, Starflower wore her Christian schoolgirl dress all day and overnight. Including on their walk with the dog.

Equus: ^_^

Xihuitl: She would have worn it again, but she was nice enough not to.

Equus: Hey! What's wrong with my dress?

Xihuitl: Nothing. But I'm glad you aren't going to wear it all the time.

Equus: Meep.

Hi! *waves frantically*
Article of Faith 13
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Equus: Well...the book doesn't actually have a plot. It's The Art of Gundam Wing and is pretty much just full of pictures by the GW characters, etc. XD My boys! (glomps the pilots)

Xihuitl: Equus, they don't even exist. And in their universe, they don't know you.

Equus: Well, they know Takai...
