   "The tender mercies of the Lord are real and . . . they do not occur randomly or merely by coincidence. Often, the Lord's timing of His tender mercies helps us to both discern and acknowledge them.
". . The Lord's tender mercies are the very personal and individualized blessings, strength, protection, assurances, guidance, loving-kindnesses, consolation, support, and spiritual gifts which we receive from and because of and through the Lord Jesus Christ."
(Elder David A. Bednar, "The Tender Mercies of the Lord," Ensign, May 2005, 99)

Love you all! ^_^

   A few details...more later....
"I am grateful for the example of the Good Shepherd, who did not give up until He had His lost sheep safely home; . . . and for the examples of many of you who have gone the extra mile until you have found that which was lost. Your efforts will have an eternal effect on the lives of your quorum members and their posterity for generations to come."
(Mervyn B. Arnold, "Strengthen Thy Brethren," Ensign, May 2004, 48)

Here you go, Refi-chan. ^.~ Kit-kun and Okami are living pretty well. ^-^ They've had a lot of help from family, enough that, while they're watching their finances, they also are worried about starving to death.

*What brought on this sudden change in their lives? Well, originally they were going to get married next spring or early summer. Then they went through a fluctuation of plans, including May and August of this year. ^/^ But finally, they settled for June 30, with the help of Okami's parents in securing the trailer they now live in. It's rather nice--not perfect, but definitely nice.*

And better than having an apartment temporarily.

*And they are playing FFXI, working, attending school, going to church, drawing, reading, writing...all in all, they have a lot to do. But they also get to spend time together.*

Love, God bless you, and Jesus Christ loves you. Have faith!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" 'By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac' (Hebrews 11:17). Abraham, because of his great faith, was promised posterity greater in number than the stars in the heavens, and that that posterity would come through Isaac. But Abraham immediately complied with the Lord's command. God would keep His promise, but if not in the manner Abraham expected, he still trusted Him completely. Men accomplish marvelous things by trusting in the Lord and keeping His commandments--by exercising faith even when they don't know how the Lord is shaping them."
   Love!
"There is no substitute for kindness in the home."
Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, Ensign, May 2005, 27
"Only as we accept the Atonement in our lives and strive to live the gospel can we meet the challenges of life and find peace, joy, and happiness. Coming to understand this great gift is an individual pursuit for each child of God. . . .
"If we could truly understand the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, we would realize how precious is one son or daughter of God."
M. Russell Ballard, "The Atonement and the Value of One Soul," Ensign, May 2004, 86
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Some notes of encouragement. Love ya all! I know I haven't been on much. ^^; I'll come back, I promise!

"President Heber J. Grant declared: 'It is our duty to teach our children in their youth. . . . I may know that the gospel is true, and so may my wife; but I want to tell you that our children will not know that the gospel is true, unless they study it and gain a testimony for themselves' (Gospel Standards, comp. G. Homer Durham [1941], 155)."
President Thomas S. Monson, "If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear," Ensign, November 2004, 115

   Beautiful....
"Keep the fire of your testimony of the restored gospel and your witness of our Redeemer burning so brightly that our children can warm their hands by the fire of your faith."

President Boyd K. Packer
Ensign, May 2003, 84

   Hi!
Helaman 12: 24, 26

And may God grant, in his great fulness, that men might be brought unto repentance and good works, that they might be restored unto grace for grace, according to their works.
[...]They that have done good shall have everlasting life.[...]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Equus: I'm still alive. I'm working the evening shift now. >.< Okami is spending her time with Kit-kun, when she can. He has classes right now. College....
Xihuitl: God bless you all. He and Jesus Christ love you, they really do!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Fact of the day: A Border collie puts its tail down when working--be that herding stock or waiting for a frisbee to be thrown. It's funny to watch with our Blue, because he has a very fluffy tail. He'll have it up when he has a toy and is taunting Mudpie, then his tail goes down wen we get the toy and will throw it.

"God the Father is merciful and has infinite love for you despite your faults. Only the voice of Satan will cause you to feel of no value. In contrast, the Holy Ghost will cause you to feel 'godly sorrow' unto repentance in a manner that fills you with hope of positive change."
(Anthony D. Perkins, "The Great and Wonderful Love," Ensign, Nov. 2006, 77)

   Love in the home! It brings great peace.

Not that I can say much about that right now. We still love each other at home. There's just some tension...

^_^ God bless you all!

"I never said it would be easy. I only said it would be worth it."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Equus: My mom's scanner doesn't want to work. That's a bummer. And Neopet's changed it's look. Majorly....
Xihuitl: And Kit-kun's gone home for the weekend, so Okami is a little bummed out.
Equus: But life is good! remember that!
Okami: *whispers* I'll see you on Monday, Kitsunekun.
"We know what the Resurrection is--the reuniting of the spirit and body in its perfect form (see Alma 11:43).
"President Joseph F. Smith said 'that those from whom we have to part here, we will meet again and see as they are. We will meet the same identical being that we associated with here in the flesh' (Teachings of the Presidents of the Church: Joseph F. Smith [1998], 91).
"President Spencer W. Kimball amplified this when he said, 'I am sure that if we can imagine ourselves at our very best, physically, mentally, spiritually, that is the way we will come back' (The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, ed. Edward L. Kimball [1982], 45).
"When we are resurrected, 'this mortal body is raised to an immortal body. . . . [We] can die no more' (Alma 11:45).
"Can you imagine that? Life at our prime? Never sick, never in pain, never burdened by the ills that so often beset us in mortality?
"The Resurrection is at the core of our beliefs as Christians. Without it, our faith is meaningless."
Topics: resurrection, Christianity, plan of salvation
   Eh-ro!
Alma 26: 6-8, 13
Yea, they shall not be beaten down by the storm at the last day; yea, neither shall they be harrowed up by the whirlwinds; but when the storm cometh they shall be gathered together in their place, that the storm cannot penetrate to them; yea, neither shall they be driven with fierce winds whithersoever he enemy listeth to carry them. But behold, they are in the hands of the Lord of the harvest, and they are his; and he will raise them up at the last day.
Blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.
[...] they are brought to sing redeeming love, and this because of the power of his word[...]
God loves you!
Okami and Kitsune are still traveling the mountains. They haven't found anything yet. Sano's been busy with some tournaments, and Equus couldn't go because of her new job. But she's stays up late talking to him on the phone, which is why she is now crashed on her couch with a plate of cookies and an empty glass traced by milk. She's pretty tired to fall asleep without eating all the cookies. The clones are at least not destroying anything, and Xihuitl is trying to keep it that way.
   XD
Okami wags her tail.
I'm with Kitsunekun, here in the mountains. We haven't found anything yet. But thank you to Refi-chan and Night Shade 2 and Kitsunekun. Equus got 11 out of 20. She sang better than she expected.
God be with you all, and He loves you!
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the mastery of it."
