   Hello-a!
President George Q. Cannon said once: “No matter how serious the trial, how deep the distress, how great the affliction, [God] will never desert us. He never has, and He never will. He cannot do it. It is [against] His character [to do so]. He is an unchangeable being. … He will stand by us. We may pass through the fiery furnace; we may pass through deep waters; but we shall not be consumed nor overwhelmed. We shall emerge from all these trials and difficulties the better and the purer for them, if we only trust in our God and keep His commandments.”
Those who will receive the Lord Jesus Christ as the source of their salvation will always lie down in green pastures, no matter how barren and bleak the winter has been."
~ Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, Ensign, Nov. 1997, 66

2 Chronicles 29: 29-31, 36
And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.
Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
[...]
And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.

2 Chronicles 30: 6, 11-12
So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
[...]
Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.

2 Chronicles 31: 5-10
And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.
In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.
Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.

The Mosaic law was symbolic of Christ's sacrifice and of ours.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you all. May you feel that as you go through life and search for truth (and find it).

Equus: It's raining today. A very autumnal day. Well, the valley's getting in order. The unicorns are still getting themselves ready--they want to look their best for this. Xihuitl, Emeraulde, and all the clones are helping them, so I'm gonna go find Sano and see if we can visit Refi-chan's castle. And thank you, buddies. I'm still a little sick, but much better than last weekend. ^_^ Love to everyone!

Hello! It's been raining today. ^_^
2 Chronicles 7: 12, 14-16
And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
[...]
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

"When things that are of the greatest importance are passed over by weak-minded men without even a thought, I want to see truth in all its bearings and hug it to my bosom. I believe all that God ever revealed, and I never hear of a man being damned for believing too much; but they are damned for unbelief."
~ Joseph Smith, June 16, 1844, Nauvoo, Illinois, History of the Church, 6:477

"Like those who were alive at the time of His mortal ministry, there are some among us who look for physical peace and prosperity as signs of the Savior's wondrous power. We sometimes fail to understand that the everlasting peace Jesus promises is an inner peace, born in faith, anchored by testimony, nurtured with love, and expressed through continual obedience and repentance. It is a peace of spirit that echoes through the heart and the soul. If one truly knows and experiences this inner peace, there is no fear from worldly disharmony or discord. One knows deep down inside that all is well as far as the things that really matter are concerned."
~ M. Russell Ballard, "The Peaceable Things of the Kingdom," Ensign, May 2002, 87

"When Mike Wallace interviewed President Hinckley some years ago for the television program 60 Minutes, he said, '[People will say] this is a church run by old men.' To this, President Hinckley replied, 'Isn't it wonderful to have a man of maturity at the head--a man of judgment who isn't blown about by every wind of doctrine?' (Discourses of President Gordon B. Hinckley, Volume 1: 1995-1999 [2005], 509). So if any of you think the present leadership is too old to lead the Church, President Hinckley may need to give you some further counsel about the wisdom that comes with age!"
~ James E. Faust, "Called and Chosen," Ensign, Nov. 2005, 53

"The good word of God with which we must nourish is the simple doctrine of the gospel."
~ Elder Henry B. Eyring, Ensign, Nov. 1997, 84

Equus: I hope you guys enjoy the quotes. I wasn't feeling that well at work today, and they were able to let me go early. Yeah! I think I had trouble because I didn't get to sleep until 11:30 or later.

Xihuitl: Even though your mom told you to get to bed early.

Equus: meep

Xihuitl: We've had many blessings--praying for small but important things, liking finding Equus's keys, and then having those prayers answered. She's not perfect, but...^_^ And she has an eye doctor's check-up tomorrow.

Equus: Yep! I have a new prescription. I can see again! Yipee!

Xihuitl: Love and hugs. God your Father and Jesus Christ love you. Take care.

Fact of the day: Traditional Iranian mourning for a loved one's death includes mourning: the day of passing; the day of the funeral; three days after (the funeral, I think); seven days after; and then every year's anniversary of the day of passing. I think I got those right.

(This fact taken from an NPR essay by a member of an Iranian emmigrant family to the USA.)

   I am getting better! :-D
Doctrine & Covenants 11: 3-4, 9, 11-13
Behold, the field is white already to harvest; therefore, whoso desireth to reap let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God.
Yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and reap, the same is called of God.
[...]
Say nothing but repentance unto this generation. Keep my commandments, and assist to bring forth my work, according to my commandments, and you shall be blessed.
[...]
For, behold, it is I that speak; behold, I am the alight which shineth in darkness, and by my power I give these words unto thee.
And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which to do good—yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy;

Doctrine & Covenants 4
Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men.
Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day.
Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work;
For behold the field is white already to harvest; and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;
And faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.
Remember faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, diligence.
Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Amen.

Equus: Last night we watched "The Russians Are Coming...The Russians Are Coming". That is a movie I highly recommend. It was made in the 1960's, during the Cold War and about the Cold War. It is a comedy and a farce, as decribed by one man, perhaps producer. But it is clean in the style of the '60's--not perfect, but almost, and mostly in that way that implies the innocence of a just propriety.

Xihuitl: If Equus seems to be more flowery than usual, that's because she's been reading Les Miserables again. If you've ever read it, you'll understand. Victor Hugo is a good author, generally speaking. Well, we've only read Les Mis--not all of it--and a figment of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. As I was saying, he is a good author, but verbose.

Equus: Thank you, guys, for coming and visiting and sharing huggly comments! ^_^ A special thanks to Refi-chan (tiggerola), Starflower and Meru (DarkLynx9701), and Miaka and Taka.

Xihuitl: She is feeling better, but she will go to bed at a decent hour tonight, right?

Equus: But Xihuitl, I don't start work until 11....

Xihuitl: >.< You're still recuperating. And you have chores to do.

Equus: *sigh* Yes'm. Love and hugs, and God bless you all!

"As we strive for success, we cannot allow “any vain or foolish thing” to divert us from the path of faith and lead us away from being true to our covenants. "
~ Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, Ensign, May 1997, 15

"The Apostle Paul taught that the Lord's teachings and teachers were given that we may all attain 'the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ' (Ephesians 4:13). This process requires far more than acquiring knowledge. It is not even enough for us to be convinced of the gospel; we must act and think so that we are converted by it. In contrast to the institutions of the world, which teach us to know something, the gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something."
~ Dallin H. Oaks, "The Challenge to Become," Ensign, Nov. 2000, 32

2 Chronicles 15: 9
And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

"A tranquil conscience invites freedom from anguish, sorrow, guilt, shame, and self-condemnation. It provides a foundation for happiness. It is a condition of immense worth."

   Love!
"Service, to be acceptable to the Savior, must come from willing minds, ready hands, and pledged hearts."
~ President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, May 1994, 62

Doctrine & Covenants 1: 1-2, 37-39
Hearken, O ye people of my church, saith the voice of him who dwells on high, and whose eyes are upon all men; yea, verily I say: Hearken ye people from afar; and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together.
For verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape; and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated.
[...]
Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.
What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.
For behold, and lo, the Lord is God, and the Spirit beareth record, and the record is true, and the truth abideth forever and ever. Amen.

Doctrine & Covenants 3: 1-3, 10
The works, and the designs, and the purposes of God cannot be frustrated, neither can they come to naught.
For God doth not walk in crooked paths, neither doth he turn to the right hand nor to the left, neither doth he vary from that which he hath said, therefore his paths are straight, and his course is one eternal round.

Remember, remember that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men;
[...]
But remember, God is merciful; therefore, repent of that which thou hast done which is contrary to the commandment which I gave you, and thou art still chosen, and art again called to the work;

Doctrine & Covenants 4: 2
Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day.

Doctrine & Covenants 6: 5-7, 15-16, 23, 36-37
Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
Now, as you have asked, behold, I say unto you, keep my commandments, and seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion;
Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.
[...]
Behold, thou knowest that thou hast inquired of me and I did enlighten thy mind; and now I tell thee these things that thou mayest know that thou hast been enlightened by the Spirit of truth;
Yea, I tell thee, that thou mayest know that there is none else save God that knowest thy thoughts and the intents of thy heart.
[...]
Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?
[...]
Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.
Behold the wounds which pierced my side, and also the prints of the nails in my hands and feet; be faithful, keep my commandments, and ye shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. Amen.

Helaman 5: 47
Peace, peace be unto you, because of your faith in my Well Beloved, who was from the foundation of the world.

Xihuitl: So she's going to go to bed at a decent time. Right, Equus?

Equus: Yes'm.

Xihuitl: Love to you all, and God be with you. I hope you like the scriptures. We're trying to share truths and help. Pocket hugs and love.

Fact of the day: Dragons and unicorns are two fairly world-wide mythical creatures. However, some seem (to me) to be particular to a region--like the Pegasus and the Phoenix.

(More of a guess of the day than a fact. ^^;)

"When Mike Wallace interviewed President Hinckley some years ago for the television program 60 Minutes, he said, '[People will say] this is a church run by old men.' The Lord loves us all.

When I say something religious, it is to share truth and to try to help. I hope it does.

God be with you in your search in life.

   Hello. My day off...and the sun's starting to warm the world.
John 10: 7-18
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
All that ever came before me who testified not of me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be cone fold, and one shepherd.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Fact of the day: The word "plait", which can be used as a noun or a verb, means "braid" or "pleat". A third definition for the verb is "to make by braiding".

(This fact of the day provided by The American Heritage Vollege dic-tion-ar-y, Third Edition, (c) 1997. And because I braided my hair this morning.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you! Seek to follow Their Holy Spirit. Love and pocket glomps.
Remember, most churches have some truth in them, but you need the full Gospel to fully understand and do God's word. And He loves us and will judge us all righteously, according to what part we do know.
Doctrine & Covenants 1: 16-39
They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth fold and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.
Wherefore, I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments;
And also gave commandments to others, that they should proclaim these things unto the world; and all this that it might be fulfilled, which was written by the prophets
The weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh—
But that every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world;
That faith also might increase in the earth;
That mine everlasting covenant might be established;
That the fulness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
Behold, I am God and have spoken it; these commandments are of me, and were given unto my servants in their weakness, after the manner of their language, that they might come to understanding.
And inasmuch as they erred it might be made known;
And inasmuch as they sought wisdom they might be instructed;
And inasmuch as they sinned they might be chastened, that they might repent;
And inasmuch as they were humble they might be made strong, and blessed from on high, and receive knowledge from time to time.
And after having received the record of the Nephites, yea, even my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., might have power to translate through the mercy of God, by the power of God, the Book of Mormon.
And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased[…]
Nevertheless, he that repents and does the commandments of the Lord shall be forgiven;
And he that repents not, from him shall be taken even the light which he has received; for my Spirit shall not always strive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts.
And again, verily I say unto you, O inhabitants of the earth: I the Lord am willing to make these things known unto ball flesh;
For I am no respecter of persons, and will that all men shall know that the day speedily cometh; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand, when peace shall be taken from the earth, and the devil shall have power over his own dominion.
And also the Lord shall have power over his saints, and shall reign in their midst, and shall come down in judgment upon Idumea, or the world.
Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.
What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.
For behold, and lo, the Lord is God, and the Spirit beareth record, and the record is true, and the truth abideth forever and ever. Amen.
   Hi!
Isaiah 14: 32
What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.
Alma 43: 30, 45, 49-50
And he also knowing that it was the only desire of the Nephites to preserve their lands, and their liberty, and their church, therefore he thought it no sin that he should defend them by stratagem; therefore, he found by his spies which course the Lamanites were to take.
[...]
Nevertheless, the Nephites were inspired by a better cause, for they were not fighting for monarchy nor power but they were fighting for their homes and their liberties, their wives and their children, and their all, yea, for their rites of worship and their church.
[...]
And it came to pass that they turned upon the Lamanites, and they cried with one voice unto the Lord their God, for their liberty and their freedom from bondage.
And they began to stand against the Lamanites with power; and in that selfsame hour that they cried unto the Lord for their freedom, the Lamanites began to flee before them; and they fled even to the waters of Sidon.
Alma 45: 1
Behold, now it came to pass that the people of Nephi were exceedingly rejoiced, because the Lord had again delivered them out of the hands of their enemies; therefore they gave thanks unto the Lord their God; yea, and they did fast much and pray much, and they did worship God with exceedingly great joy.
I felt incredibly grateful last night when I got home and saw that my mom had bought me Les Miserables. I had just mentioned that I wanted to read the book again, and she said that it was probably available through the same company's literary classics set that we'd gotten Jane Austen from. And she did it. I felt loved. Just as God loves us all.
God loves you!
We're working on getting the valley ready, but there's so much to be done. Whoo. See you next week. ^_^
*Bye, and love and hugs to you all. Pocket hugs and glomps for the weekend.*
Fact of the day: In Arabic, no word is allowed to begin with a vowel. If it sounds like it does, then it probably begins with the "full-fledged consonant" hamza, which is described as a glottal stop, as in the traditional Cockney pronunciation of bottle (bo''le).
(This fact of the day from my Arabic Language book.)
"Through the still, small voice of His Spirit, the Lord will protect us, help us, and guide us."
~ Elder Robert D. Hales, Ensign, May 2003, 16
Blessings to the righteous:
Helaman 6: 1, 3-8, 14
[...] when the sixty and second year of the reign of the judges had ended, all these things had happened and the Lamanites had become, the more part of them, a righteous people, insomuch that their righteousness did exceed that of the Nephites, because of their firmness and their steadiness in the faith.
[...]
Nevertheless, the people of the church did have great joy because of the conversion of the Lamanites, yea, because of the church of God, which had been established among them. And they did fellowship one with another, and did rejoice one with another, and did have great joy.
And it came to pass that many of the Lamanites did come down into the land of Zarahemla, and did declare unto the people of the Nephites the manner of their conversion, and did exhort them to faith and repentance.
Yea, and many did preach with exceedingly great power and authority, unto the bringing down many of them into the depths of humility, to be the humble followers of God and the Lamb.
And it came to pass that many of the Lamanites did go into the land northward; and also Nephi and Lehi went into the land northward, to preach unto the people. And thus ended the sixty and third year.
And behold, there was peace in all the land, insomuch that the Nephites did go into whatsoever part of the land they would, whether among the Nephites or the Lamanites.
And it came to pass that the Lamanites did also go whithersoever they would, whether it were among the Lamanites or among the Nephites; and thus they did have free intercourse one with another, to buy and to sell, and to get gain, according to their desire.
[...]
And in the sixty and fifth year they did also have great joy and peace, yea, much preaching and many prophecies concerning that which was to come. And thus passed away the sixty and fifth year.
   ^_^ More rain.
Helaman 5: 40-42, 47-51
And it came to pass that the Lamanites said unto him: What shall we do, that this cloud of darkness may be removed from overshadowing us?
And Aminadab said unto them: You must repent, and cry unto the voice, even until ye shall have faith in Christ, who was taught unto you by Alma, and Amulek, and Zeezrom; and when ye shall do this, the cloud of darkness shall be removed from overshadowing you.
And it came to pass that they all did begin to cry unto the voice of him who had shaken the earth; yea, they did cry even until the cloud of darkness was dispersed.
[...]
Peace, peace be unto you, because of your faith in my Well Beloved, who was from the foundation of the world.
And now, when they heard this they cast up their eyes as if to behold from whence the voice came; and behold, they saw the heavens open; and angels came down out of heaven and ministered unto them.
And there were about three hundred souls who saw and heard these things; and they were bidden to go forth and marvel not, neither should they doubt.
And it came to pass that they did go forth, and did minister unto the people, declaring throughout all the regions round about all the things which they had heard and seen, insomuch that the more part of the Lamanites were convinced of them, because of the greatness of the evidences which they had received.
And as many as were convinced did lay down their weapons of war, and also their hatred and the tradition of their fathers.
2 Chronicles 6: 8-10, 14, 16, 19-21, 24-25
But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:
Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.
The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
[...]
And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
[...]
Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
[...]
Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:
That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.
[...]
And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;
Then hear thou from the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.
Ephesians 1: 3, 6-10, 16-23
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
[...]
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one call things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
[...]
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
"Each of us should remember that he or she is a son or daughter of God, endowed with faith, gifted with courage, and guided by prayer."
   Hello! ^_^ I'm listening to the movie Pride & Prejudice.
Doctrine & Covenants 137: 1, 5-10
The heavens were opened upon us[...]
I saw Father Adam and Abraham; and my father and my mother; my brother Alvin, that has long since slept;
And marveled how it was that he had obtained an inheritance in that kingdom, seeing that he had departed this life before the Lord had set his hand to gather Israel the second time, and had not been baptized for the remission of sins.
Thus came the voice of the Lord unto me, saying: All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God;
Also all that shall die henceforth without a knowledge of it, who would have received it with all their hearts, shall be heirs of that kingdom;
For I, the Lord, will judge all men according to their works, according to the desire of their hearts.
And I also beheld that all children who die before they arrive at the years of accountability are saved in the celestial kingdom of heaven.
"God bless you fathers to be equal to your overwhelming responsibilities and to have a father's special caring for each one under your protective arms."
President James E. Faust, "The Father Who Cares", Liahona and Ensign, Sept. 2006, 2–6
Doctrine & Covenants 138: 47-49
[And I saw] The Prophet Elijah [who] was to plant in the ahearts of the children the promises made to their fathers,
Foreshadowing the great work to be done in the temples of the Lord in the dispensation of the fulness of times, for the redemption of the dead, and the sealing of the children to their parents, lest the whole earth be smitten with a curse and utterly wasted at his coming.
All these and many more, even the prophets who dwelt among the Nephites and testified of the coming of the Son of God, mingled in the vast assembly and waited for their deliverance,
God's love provides for us all, if we'll listen. Jesus Christ loves you!
Equus: Well, it has been decided. As long as you are kind to the cyber mini unicorns, you are welcome to visit their valley.
Emeraulde: Once it's ready. ^^' We aren't used to visitors.
Xihuitl: But we're working on it. And for those who don't already know, DarkLynx9701 explained today just how we manage to get onto her site so easily.
Equus: Because I'm one of her bestest friends in the whole world and have all the secret passwords and access codes? ^_^
Xihuitl: Not...quite, no.
Equus: u.u
Xihuitl: But we still love you, Equus. Anyway, see you later. We'll show you the way to the valley when it's ready.
   Hi. ^_^
Updated!
Luke 15: 4, 6
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine and go into the wilderness after that which is lost until he find it?
[...]
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Alma 48: 7, 10-13
Now it came to pass that while Amalickiah had thus been obtaining power by fraud and deceit, Moroni, on the other hand, had been preparing the minds of the people to be faithful unto the Lord their God.
[...]
And thus he was preparing to support their liberty, their lands, their wives, and their children, and their peace, and that they might live unto the Lord their God, and that they might maintain that which was called by their enemies the cause of Christians.
And Moroni was a strong and a mighty man; he was a man of a perfect understanding; yea, a man that did not delight in bloodshed; a man whose soul did joy in the liberty and the freedom of his country, and his brethren from bondage and slavery;
Yea, a man whose heart did swell with thanksgiving to his God, for the many privileges and blessings which he bestowed upon his people
; a man who did labor exceedingly for the welfare and safety of his people.
Yea, and he was a man who was firm in the faith of Christ, and he had sworn with an oath to defend his people, his rights, and his country, and his religion, even to the loss of his blood.
Beautiful understanding. God our Father and Jesus Christ love you.
Announcements, etc.
Sure, Refi, feel free to live on the island. ^_^ We'd love to have you. It's only a beaver pond, but still...maybe they're like the beavers in The Chronicles of Narnia.
^^; I made a mistake. My Kakashi is #4. My Haru is #8. And Kyo-clone is the only K-C we ever talk about here. ^_^
And, just so you know...^/^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Xihuitl: Well, Tiggerola...whoo...Emeraulde is only a tiny little unicorn, but fast as quicksilver. I had to carry Equus once we got outside. You could have ridden, too. Sorry. But we finally found out where Kakashi #4 and K-C have been getting to. They found--

Emeraulde: You're not going to tell them, are you?

Xihuitl: Well...yes, we were.

Emeraulde: But they'll overrun the place...and they'll hurt us.

Equus: (picks up Emeraulde and hugs him...as best she can...considering he fits in one hand...) Aw, don't worry, Emeraulde. We won't let anyone hurt you guys. I promise. Hm...if only we could find a dragon...a good dragon, of course.

Emeraulde: ^^'

Xihuitl: Yeah, we'll keep you guys safe. After all, you have all of us. And we can defend the way.

Emeraulde: Well...if the others don't mind. I'll go ask them. (wriggles out of Equus's hand and scampers off)

The clones stagger in.

Xihuitl: -.- Where have you guys been?

Kurama #3: We were visiting the--

Xihuitl: At the valley?

Kurama #3: Yes, Miss Xihuitl.

Emeraulde: (runs back in) It's all right. As long as we can set up a safe boundary first.

Equus: Of course! Come on, guys. (runs off)

The clones look after her a moment and collapse on the floor.

Fact of the day: There are four types of Welsh ponies--the Welsh pony, Welsh mountain pony, Welsh pony of cob type, and the Welsh cob. Confusing enough? XD

Hi. It's my day off.
John 20: 14-16, 19-21
And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
[...]
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Alma 41: 14
Therefore, my son, see that you are merciful unto your brethren; deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea, ye shall have mercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again; and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again.

Alma 43: 9, 49-50
And now the design of the Nephites was to support their lands, and their houses, and their wives, and their children, that they might preserve them from the hands of their enemies; and also that they might preserve their rights and their privileges, yea, and also their liberty, that they might worship God according to their desires.
[...]
And it came to pass that they turned upon the Lamanites, and they cried with one voice unto the Lord their God, for their liberty and their freedom from bondage.
And they began to stand against the Lamanites with power; and in that selfsame hour that they cried unto the Lord for their freedom, the Lamanites began to flee before them; and they fled even to the waters of Sidon.

Alma 46: 12-13, 15, 18, 20
And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it—In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children—and he fastened it upon the end of a pole.
And he fastened on his head-plate, and his breastplate, and his shields, and girded on his armor about his loins; and he took the pole, which had on the end thereof his rent coat, (and he called it the title of liberty) and he bowed himself to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should a band of Christians remain to possess the land—
[...]
And those who did belong to the church were faithful; yea, all those who were true believers in Christ took upon them, gladly, the name of Christ, or Christians as they were called, because of their belief in Christ who should come.
[...]
And he said: Surely God shall not suffer that we, who are despised because we take upon us the name of Christ, shall be trodden down and destroyed, until we bring it upon us by our own transgressions.
[...]
Behold, whosoever will maintain this title upon the land, let them come forth in the strength of the Lord, and enter into a covenant that they will maintain their rights, and their religion, that the Lord God may bless them.

Beautiful truths. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you. May you see Their love and blessings for you.

Equus: Thanks for your comments, LadyLenaJade and Miaka and Taka. Don't worry if you haven't visited--I haven't much, either. ^^; I'll try to visit this week. Well, I finally got Kyo-clone's and Kakashi #8's map up. ^-^ Actually, it's the simple version. They had geographical landmark and all sorts of stuff that I might fill in later.

Xihuitl: Kurama #3 finally admitted that Kyo-clone and Kakashi #8 were going south, through that little valley. We know that there's a small mountain range past it, but that's all.

Equus: Well, let's follow them today.

Xihuitl: Equus, I'm not very good at creeping and hiding.

Equus: Well, maybe Emeraulde and I could go.

Emeraulde: (enters the room) Go where?

Equus: There. (points at the map) That's where Kyo-clone and Kakashi #8 have been going lately.

Emeraulde: (examines map) What is it?

Xihuitl: It's a map, honey. See, there's the farm house, and the barn, and Kurama #3's garden. And down here in the south is a valley. Kyo-clone and Kakashi #8 have been going that way.

Emeraulde: What? (gallops out of room)

Equus: Um, maybe we should follow him?

Fact of the day: Arabic is written right to left, but the letters are still written left to right. Wierd, huh?

Take care, and pocket hugs and glomps. ^_^ Adieu.
