New Wallpaper!
I submitted this recent piece into the Crossover Anime section of the Wallpaper page, and it is pretty wicked (I don't know why I am using that word to describe anything). I'm itching to create more within the following days as soon as I knock a few things out in terms of schoolwork. Enjoy!

Sorry for the brirf absence
I would've updated a post before the break, but I could've put my head out of the gutter. In other words, I procrasinated at the last minute. Anyway, is everyone doing okay? As for me, I'm entering a "so and so" type of mood today.

Honestly, I don't really have much to talk about since nothing really interesting happened during the break, except I shot pictures back at my hometown for a project due tomorrow in color photography. The project is I used three new rolls to observe before I finalize my overall project. It should turn out okay, I believe.

I'm steadily improving on my drawing now, yet I feel there is still a long way to go. There will be more drawing to go around in the future. Bye now!

Quickie!
I'm a bit under the weather now, so I'll make this short. I'm planning on drawing tomorrow as soon as I have two rolls of film developed. I have certain ideas that I wish to follow, but I don't want to disappoint myself or create something that I may find a bit odd-looking. After reading comments from my previous fanart submission, I really have to work twice as hard in order to have a better result. Not that the Alba pic was bad, but I feel that there are certain areas in need for improvement including the shading. Maybe I should practice more intently for the time being. That's all for now. Ja!

*knock knock*
Remember the J. Alba fanart that I had created a week ago? Well, I had just submitted it yesterday, and recently, the votes were far from positive. No, it wasn't that my artwork was flamed or anything, but I understand why I received negative votes; it was merely a practice piece for me. Of course, the figure in the fanart wasn't EXACTLY silimiar to the Jessica Alba in real life (not that I was expecting it to come out as I planned), but that was the purpose, was it not?

I stated at the bottom of the submission that I CAN DO MUCH BETTER!! That is how an artist becomes better at what he/she does: when he/she understands certain mistakes. I just hope that I don't allow this to discourage me into my drawing capability just because some anonymous kid thinks I am disgracing the very name of Mrs. Alba with this recent piece. I know I can become better in it and I'm planning on drawing better fanart, esp. if it is fanart featuring Jessica Alba again.

Gotta go now!

EDIT: I am writing a story based on my creative view on anime/manga. I have yet to get the story into its full context before I can give it an actual plot. Wish me luck!

Yet another feature
This is the latest addition to the MK parodies, so I'm sure this will not disappoint. I found the humor very clean and fluent, but the plots behind the "mishaps" are original and straightforward. Although I found the two previous MK Mishaps episodes the more hilarious of the three, this episode is a standard sequel, but don't take my word for it.

MK Mishaps III

Enjoy the show, kiddies! *imitates Shao Khan's laugh*

   Chillin'
Hiya! I'm making this short this time, so excuse me if I am a bit off today. Yesterday, I was typing up a journal entry for my Humanities course for credit. The topic I choose revolved around what I may want people to perceive me in the next 65 years, and it really puzzled me when I was working on it. I never pondered about the future too often because I have enough trouble dealing w/ present time and accepting the past. I remember waking up Wedensday upset because I spent almost the entire night dwelling about my past, including my childhood and beyond. There are certain things that I regret indefinitely or wished never happened, but at the same time, I understand completely whatever is done in the past is written in history. I felt better after I finished the final copy; it was perhaps best that I explained my feeling about the future from the heart.

This morning, I was expecting for my cable to be reinstalled - I was disconnected before the semester begin - though I haven't seen anyone from the cable company appear at my doorway. Slackers. I'll see to it that I call them to ensure that everything is taken care of and that my fees are cleared.

Nothing more to say except, "Signing off!"

   Drawing in progress
So far, my drawing is somewhere between decent and good, nothing out of the ordinary. I was planning of making fanart of Jessica Alba, but I feel I need to practice more before actually considering drawing a pic of her. I started one sketch of Alba on Friday and I am planning on continuing the sketches until I actually get a feel for it. I'll do it, eventually.

Speaking of artwork, I had just finished another wallpaper piece. It is very intriguing to say the least. I'm actually submitting it right now. I'm planning on making more for this week if I have time.

Later.

   *sighs*
Just completed another assignment, and I am itching for a break right now though I feel that there is no sleep for the weary. Anyway, my mother came by yesterday to hand me two rolls of pictures that she offered to help me develop. Ironically enough, the pictures that I shot from the previous year when I took the photography course for the summer semester. Having taking the course before, I should understand the concept of using a 35mm SLR camera propertly since I have to take the course again. I feel that I am a better photographer than I was when I took the course previously because of what I had learned throughout my experience. The truth hurts the moment you get around it, y'know?

As we waited for the film to be developed, we decided to shop around and buy random items. My mother even offered to buy a new phone w/ a decent working answering machine, which is good because the fax machine I had previously was basically screwed up. We also bought several DVDs, four of them belonging to me, of course. Now I own Dark Water, Serenity, Hustle & Flow, and Ah! My Goddess : The TV Series Vol. 2. Luckily, I have only one course on Thursdays, so I didn't mind.

Nothing else to say, I guess. I'm actually attempting to draw this weekend. It is time that the kid starts getting back into the groove; I've been only doing sketches throughout my recent stay at college. Lots of luck! Signing off.

I have a question...
I was thinking about this after listening to "Imaginary" by Evanescence, but I feel that it may sound ludicrous yet spontaneous. However, I felt it could be a bit funny to ask considering I'm in a better mood than I would be. So my question is this:

If a pure "goddess of imaginary light" existed on this planet Earth, would she:

A) Offer to grant us everlasting love w/o compromise or guilt if we vowed to follow her very motives?

B) Invites the male species (including moi) to her palace where she is treated as a respectable queen, but suddenly goes through us like Kleenex and spits us out one by one from the heavens until she finds a man most loyal to her?

C) Swaps the males into females and females into males in order for both sexes to understand how it feels to fit his/her shoes?

...or...

D) Considerably forgets about the Earth and creates her own universe, one where many may come in, yet few come out?

I wonder if I went a little overboard w/ the third question, but I found all four of them a bit reasonable. I'll give you guys at least two days to answer, and I'll be back Wedensday, if it is cool w/ everyone? So, if you like or simply have nothing else to do, answer w/ discretion. Enjoy!

   Quick feature!
Yet another new feautre directly from the vault of Newgrounds (I am about to lose my religion going there), and this is definitely a must-see. If your computer is too slow to pick up the feature, then I reccommend you not to view it, otherwise you may enjoy.

The Real Alpha Tournament 3

I'll have to go now. I'm too busy sketching that it is not even funny.
