   I'm Baaaaack!!

Happy Monday, again! It seems as though I'll just be coming around once a week for a short period of time. Sorry for not getting to everyone's sites lately. I've been feeling rather dragged out and tired. Hopefully I'll wake myself from my stupor or slumber, whatever it may be. ^^;

Contest Results
Recently, I've gotten results from a couple contests I had entered back in the summer. ...Oh summer, how I miss thee! *sniff sniff*

The first contest I entered was hosted by CosmicSailor. He asked contestants to write a paragraph concerning 3 of our favorite anime characters. It was hard to pick just 3, but I came up with Spike Spiegel, Vash and Ichigo Kurosaki. Out of those 3, CosmicSailor chose my statement about Ichico Kurosaki. Here's what I said:

Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach - I think Ichigo represents that fighting spirit in all of us. For some, it's not as strong, but it's still there. He's always pushing himself so he can better protect and fight for those he loves. He's the type of friend that sticks closer than a brother.

Heehee. As I reread what I had said, it almost sounds cheesy, but apparently, CosmicSailor liked it! ^^ As a reward, he worked on a wood burning piece and sent it to me. It was extremely nice on his behalf: he tried sending it around my birthday and included with the wooden piece a birthday card as well! So here's a thumbnail of the Ichigo piece he did:

Fighting Spirit In All Of Us

Hosted By theOtaku.com

The other contest I entered was hosted by Iruka Sensei for The Soul Society. Her contest was an "artsy" contest, which had a couple different fields to choose from, including wallpapers and fanart. I chose to do the fanart and did a couple pieces. ^^; I came in second, which isn't bad I guess. It was a fun contest, and I think I learned some new stuff while doing it. The second placed prize consists of a layout, wallpaper and icon.

Speaking of the Soul Society hosted by Iruka, I know a lot of my friends are members. So if you are, which one are you and why did you choose that character?
I think I'm in the Soul Society since I asked Iruka, but methinks she still has to come up with an icon for me of Kuukaku Shiba. I chose her since I couldn't think of any more female Soul Society members that weren't already taken. XD *shrugs*

The Mist
My friend and I went to the theater on Saturday to see Stephen King's The Mist. It was funny - neither of us thought there would be anyone out of our friends who would want to see that. But I guess we found each other! Lol

The movie was all right. It wasn't as scary as I thought. The moment I saw the first creature, I thought, "Feh. Second hand computer graphics." But the movie did turn out better than I thought, although it was sad... Typical Stephen King ending if you ask me. The only thing I didn't like too much was the fact that he made Christians look like psychos. *shakes head* If you see it, I hope you don't think I'm like that. Lol

A White Christmas
We had our first snow here in Maryland. Snow fell on Wednesday all day for the most part. We got a good bunch of it, more than 3 inches or so. Seeing the snow gave me some hope that this Christmas would be snowy, at least I hope so. The last few years it seemed as though we hadn't gotten any snow for quite some time.

Know Your Anime!
Aha! I knew this last Unknown would throw a lot of your off, but still I was surprised by those who did get it! Lol. The correct answer is:

Gutts - "Berserk"

I have never seen this anime before, but from what I could tell, it almost looks like a darker type of anime. Interesting. Know anything about it?

Moving on, here's today's Unknown. *chuckles*

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Well, I'll see you all later. I hope you all are doing well. I'm sure a lot of you have exams and finals coming up - same here! So I hope to do some visiting when I can. *hugs* Buh bye! ^^

P.S. Did you see the trailor for the new Otaku? It looks very interesting... I can't wait to see it happen!

   What a week....

Hmm. It's been a whole week since I've been here. I feel as thoguh I've missed a lot, but it's just been crazy this past week.

Three Days and Three Nights
It's nearing the end of the semester, for which I'm so glad! I really can't wait for this semester to be over with. ^^

Well, this last week was rather hectic as we were finishing up our Concert Choir class. We end that course with a performance or two. You all may recall that we had one earlier this year, An Evening of Puccini. Our final performance was Amahl and the Three Kings.

Last week we really put a push on practice, getting together 3 nights in a row to rehearse lines and staging. Then we had a day off, which would be followed by 3 nights of performance. O_O Gah. I was soooo tired by the last day. But the fact that it was our last performance gave me strength to move along. XD

All three nights went well, though each had its own mistakes and whatnot. On night 2, my dad and a few friends were able to make it on out. I felt unusually nervous that night: I guess it was due to their presence. Also, my knees were feeling quite wobbly and "BLAH." The girl next to me on the risers felt the same way if not worse. She often grabbed my hand to steady herself. (We were in the back row, so no one else saw us.)

Note: Don't lock your knees for long periods of time - you could faint. ^^

Commenting on Comments
A lot of you mentioned the gifts I bought my family. I usually don't go all out like that, but I guess I thought I'd go a bit further since I had been working. I enjoy getting my family nice stuff since most of the time they 1.) can never think of anything they want or 2.) don't really need anything in the first place. But this year they were able write down some things they wanted. ^^

Yensid - Hmm. I don't know if it was "kobe" beef that I ate, but the dude could slice through it like it was butter or something! Is kobe beef expensive? XD

ElvesAteMyRamen - How true! Race doesn't matter if you're cute. XD I just mentioned "Asian" since I don't know that many... In fact, I'm the Asian in my church.

LordSesshomaru - Thanks for understanding my, uh, "fangirl" moment. Heehee. Now I won't feel so "self-conscious" to talk about that stuff in front of the guys, like yourself. XP

Name That Anime!
Bingo! You all, for the most part, got it! It was Jet Black! Way to go! *hands out donuts*

Jet Black - Cowboy Bebop

Let's see if you get today's Unknown.. (It might be tricky...):

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Well, I hope to do some visiting over the next few days. If I don't make it to yours, please don't think I don't care or anything. Finals are coming up, as I'm sure a lot of you are well aware of! Take care, everyone!

Long long long post - Skip by Titles if need be... LOL

Grrr! It's Monday... again!

Happy Monday, everyone! *smirks* Yeah, I'm sure a lot of you feel the way I do about Mondays, especially after such a nice, pleasant time off. ^^; *sighs*

Oh yeah! Magnus, you asked what I was grateful for. Thanks for asking! Let's see. I have a lot to be grateful for, ranging from the small things like necessary food and clothing to great friends and family! I feel as though I have a lot of brothers and sisters. All of it comes for the goodness of the Lord! XD

Also, thanks for the warm birthday wishes. *hugs you all*

Thanksgiving Day
So how was your Thanksgiving Day? What did you do and did you have a great time? ^^

It felt so good to just sleep in a few extra hours. My dad got some extra sleep too, but he got up earlier and began to work on the dinner. I could smell his preparing the food, which in effect woke me up to help him some. I didn't do a whole lot of the cooking but was more like a pair of hands for him. While he did most of the cooking, I did miscellaneous stuff, including laundry and some cleaning.

After 7 hours or so of cooking, my mom, dad and I were ready to eat. ...Actually, I thought not eating throughout the day would build a big appetite, but it did the opposite. My dad and I didn't feel like eating a whole lot. Lol

It was nice though, just the 3 of us. My sister and her husband came later that night; she had to work that day... Insanity, I tell you... Anyway, we fed her some leftovers, and she gave me my birthday gifts (West Side Story, metronome, South Korea patch thingy and a silly card - LOL).

Black Friday
I thought that this year I'd try to do some Christmas shopping on Black Friday. I was able to get some ideas from my parents and sister. I really wanted to get them some nice stuff this year, so catching the sales would be handy to me. ^^

My friend and I began our quest 5:30 a.m. and got to the mall by 6. She insisted on going a bit later to avoid the maniacs, as she claimed. I had no problem with that. Not many stores were open by the time we got there, but man, it didn't take long for people to flood in! I was pooped by around 10 or so. Lol

From 7 hours of shopping, I was able to get my dad an iPod nano (I'm jealous now... Lol...) and an iPod car dock, my mom a shirt (for now - will get her more later), and my sis a Nintendo DS w/Brain Age game. My sister is such a nerd... But then again, I asked for the same thing - Brain Age 2. Actually, my sis and I are doing a DS exchange: she gets me the Zelda edition (hopefully) and I get her the red/black one. I wanna play hers so badly...!

*mission almost complete*

Birthday Bananzas
I don't know what "bananza" means or even if it's a word. ^^;

Saturday and Sunday were taken up by birthday bashes. Quite a number of my friends have their birthdays in November. *w00t!* Saturday, I was able to have my hibotchi party with some of my friends.

We went to Kobe's Steakhouse located in Largo, a predominately black community (no offense to anyone out there!). It did feel awkward for some of us, like like a couple pieces of rice in a bowl of black beans, as my dad would say. XD I felt even more awkward being served by Asians... And boy, did the "Asian jokes" come bountifully! LOL So mean! Like my dad said, "Sarah, if they offer you a job here, tell them you can't!" ..I will say this... A couple of those Asian fellows were pretty darn cute! X3 *girly squeal while the males gag*

Our chef was very good! It was only his second day there, although I'm sure he gained experience elsewhere. Lol He made this huge burst of fire - I was glad no one got their eyebrows singed. (-__-)

The food was so good and they gave you decent sized portions. It was a bit pricy, but very much worth it! If you have a Kobe's near you, I'd suggest going there with some friends. Also... Take cash with you, especially if you're in a group. My gosh, we spent 30-40 minutes trying to figure out how to pay the bill (since they put on just one) when most of us had only a card. *shakes head* All that fuss was our fault because we couldn't add right. Poor Asian server dude - he had to get another buddy, who could speak better English, to help out! ^^;

Know Your Anime!
Hahahaha.... Yes, I was able to thwart you last time! *evil chuckle* But you all are still really good - ya know your stuff! Let's see if you can get it this week.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Well, this is a rather long post. I'm so sorry about that! I actually had more to say, but I'll refrain from speaking more. Have a great day, you guys! *hands out leftover pumpkin pie* Mmm... Pie...

   I'm Posting... Again!!

Whoa. I'm posting again! Thought I would since I probably won't the next couple of days. ^^ Can't wait for some good food... Unlike my brownies. The secret to making awful brownies is to use the wrong ingredient. ...I used the right one... It's just that the ingredient was bad, I think. Whoopsie! XD But that won't stop me from helping out with Thanksgiving dinner. *evil smirk*

No Longer a Teen
Oh my! Well, as the title indicates, I am indeed no longer a teenager. Yesterday was my birthday, or should I say, my "flower" birthday. I actally have no clue if that's a true term: "flower birthday." According to my friend, a flower birthday is the birthday that you turn the same age as in your birth date. For example, I turned 20 on the 20th. *shrugs*

I must say, I really don't feel different. It's funny. People will ask, "So how do you feel today on your birthday?" Uh, I guess the same as I did before today. ^^; I'll miss the good ol' teen years but I look forward to the "roaring twenties." XD

So anyway, yesterday, my mom and dad got me 2 dozen roses, an iPod, and some pretty perfume. They were really nice gifts. My boss even got me a couple things: a hematite necklace from Jamaica (She went on a cruise this past week) and this pretty Christmas decoration. *hugs boss* I really enjoy working for her. ^_^

I hope to do something for my birthday this week. Originally, I had planned on doing a hibotchi thing on Friday, but something came up and I thought it best to cancel the ordeal altogether. However, today my friend insisted that I do something on Saturday, so we'll see. That would be nifty if something came through. I was getting a little disappointed, thinking I wouldn't do anything until my 21st b-day. ^^ *hugs my friend*

Wrestling the Baby
Hehehe... My next subject must sound weird. I did actually have a "wrestling" match with the new baby of our church. (You might recall the one that was just recently adopted.) Let me tell you that this little guy is one hefty boy! Lol He may be 10 months old, but man, he's going to grow up to be a little slugger. XD

It was Sunday, and I had nursery duty in the afternoon. JT is this kid's name, and he's the only one in our nursery. Yeah, small church with small number of little kiddies. Anyway, after taking a nap, JT was up and active... Meaning all that milk and food he had before was coursing through that metabolism of his. Yes, you may see where I'm going next...

Well, lo and behold, this odor appeared, and sure enough it was him. Lol If there's anything I don't enjoy doing with kids, it's changing their diapers. Plus, he's such a squirmer! As I tried to change him, he'd get away from me a couple times, bare bottom and all. I'd try to hold him down with me feet (not squashing me, like standing on him or anything! Lol), but he'd cry so much. So I had a teacher come distract him for me. It actually worked: he just stared at her, long enough for me to slip the diaper on him. Little stinker... I don't want kids anytime soon. ^^;

Know Your Anime!
I think I finally fooled you all! Bwahahahaha! *ahem* All of you said that the Unknown anime character was Inuyasha. NOPE! *smirks with delight* I thought this one would be tricky: it's the silver hair!

The correct answer is... *drum roll* Yoko Kurama!

Yoko Kurama - Yu Yu Hakusho

I can see how this might've caught people off guard. ^^

I won't post up a new Unknown today due to the holiday and all. So I thought I'd ask a Thanksgiving-y question:

What Are You Grateful For?

I might have asked this already... Probably a year ago, but it's still good to reflect upon those things that we're most grateful for. ^^ With that, I hope you all have a great holiday! I'll try to visit as many sites as I can. ^^

Mmm. Turkey...
Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay, I love ya! Buh-bye! *hugs and offers everyone a "brownie"* XD

   It's a Miracle!

Oye. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record. Sorry for the absence. Yadda yadda yadda. ^^; It's been quite the week the past several days since I've last posted. Here's why...

Opening Ceremony
As you all may know, I am currently involved in our church's building project. We've been working on this project for well over 2 years, and so much progress has taken place! It's been very trying and taxing at some times but, nevertheless, it's been an overall awesome experience.
Well, November 17th was the day we were going to hold our opening ceremony, yet still so much had to be done and at least buttoned up. So all that week, from Monday to Friday and even some on Saturday, we all poured a lot of hours into that project! Thursday and Friday felt like the real killers since I went to be on those days from 2 to 4 in the morning. I was fortunate enough to be able to catch up on some rest. However, not all my friends had that same opportunity, so they would at times run on "E." *collapses*
Some of the cool things that were accomplished include:

-The gym floor was laid, save for a few rows of hard wood (laid in the course of, I'd say, 72 man hours or so)
-Carpet was laid on a majority of the main floor, as was the tile
-More painting
-Doors installed
-Bathrooms completed (for the most part: toilets, partitions, mirrors and sinks)

By far, the gym floor's getting laid had to be the highlight of the week. I mean, we laid it down relatively quickly. It looks great even though it looks like a bunch of confetti. That gym floor of maple hard wood cost us nothing!! It came from another gym and was practically brand new: it saved us 20 grand or so.
Also, since we were hosting for our friends from Sterling (a group of 400+ people), we all had given responsibilities, like baking cookies, or preparing veggie trays, etc. It was very tiring indeed. *nods wearily*
On a side note, I had to make brownies. I just used a few Duncan Haynes brownie mix. However, I think my brownies were infamous for their horrid taste. Apparently, the oil I used was pretty bad because so many people commented on their oily/icky taste! Lol I did not own up to them. *slowly backs away while whistling* Heehee...

Thank God our pastor said that our next work day would be Friday, and we'd end around 9:30 or so. Unfortunately, that was when I was planning my hibotchi dinner at Kobe's for my 20th birthday, which is tomorrow! W00t! Alas, I must plan it for some other day... *sighs*

Wedding Day Too!
Oye, the wedding was also on Saturday. It was so funny because the people in the wedding never rehearsed or anything beforehand! Lol So when the people from Sterling mostly left, they began to rehearse for the wedding, which would be in the next 2 hours or so! XD

After they practiced some, all of the bride's maids and bride-to-be went to the house and began to get ready. They asked me to take pictures of them while they were getting ready. It was so funny to see them dash around like little insects. The bride, however, remained cool and collected for the most part. She really didn't care what she looked like in the long run: she just wanted get married and be done with it all! ^^ Don't get me wrong... She wanted to look very nice and presentable! But she wasn't taking her sweet time like the rest of them. She was ready before they all were and began walking back down to the church. Lol (The distance between the church and the house is like 2 minutes walking.)

The ceremony went really well. It was certainly not your traditional wedding, but that's cool. She looked great and the groom cleaned up nice too. Lol

Following the ceremony was the reception. We ate food and chilled for a little while. Then it was time for the bouquet throw. My friend and I were like, "Not-uh!" So we backed up way far from the crowd.

Well, lo and behold, the bride launched that bouquet... Directly toward me! I swear, it looked like a death missle heading straight for me, and it all happened like it was slow-mo or something. As it was heading toward me, I thought:

Oh God! It's heading straight for me!! Hmm. My legs aren't moving. Not good. Why isn't anyone else going for it! Was I set up? Oof...

People told me that it was one fluid motion - in the air landing right in my arms. I stared at the flowers, frowned and walked away. Lol Bring on the "marriage" jokes. Who's the unlucky man?! Hahaha. Funny.

Mozilla vs. IE
Dag... It's been a whole week since I posted. *shakes head* Ok, so you may also recall that I was having some difficulty with the color codes and whatnot with Mozilla Firefox. Different browsers show web pages differently: IE7 will cut off certain pages while Mozilla uses that standard "red, green, blue" colors.
Well, I did some digging around last night and came across some extensions/add-ons for Mozilla, namely the ColorZilla extension. It appears that after I installed it, that now I can use whatever color code (Hex coding) I want. The ColorZilla also features an eyedropper that allows you to pick whatever colors from off another webpage. How spiffy is that! ^^ I'll do some more playing around in order to get the nicest match for my blogs and whatnot.

For more info about ColorZilla, click here!

Note: Thank you, CosmicSailor for letting me know of that color palette site.

Know Your Anime!
You guys are really good! The right answer from last time was good ol' Vash! Gosh, every time I go to Borders, which isn't often, I always want to pick up the Trigun manga. Someday I suppose...

Vash the Stampede - Trigun

Ok, so here's today's new Unknown. Let's see how sharp you all are. XD

Who am I?

~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~

Ok then! I know I've said far too much. So I guess I shall see you all later on today! Have a great day. ^^

Oh gosh! I once again went into a period of absence. My sincerest apologies! Alas, I've been trying to commit more to coming around. However, things come up here and there, which take me away from this and that. Isn't that how life seems to go? *smiles*

Ah, I'm glad you liked my dad's car. It rides really smoothly and is very spacious - my gosh, is it spacious! Funny, my mom kept getting on my dad, saying "Don't drive it over 60 mph!" Pfft. Yeah right! Lol Well, I think for the first 300 miles, they say don't push it (i.e. 65+ mph). However, my dad knocked over 300 miles in just 3 days. He does a LOT of traveling. The HHR that I have now was his car that he used for traveling. In one year, he racked up 26,000+ miles on it. Geez o' whizzy! O_O

On another note... With this blog thingy, I'm just playing around with some ideas to make it clear and legible for all people using whatever browser (IE, Mozilla, etc.). The Mozilla tends to be less responsive, if you will, when it comes to certain codes, like color codes. Thus, if you're using Mozilla, you may not see the pretty blues and hues seen from an IE point of view. I'll toy with it more. ^^

So Far Behind
Not only am I behind in your lives, but I feel like I'm getting behind in my studies, namely piano. I need to really work on these songs. Only 3 or so lessons left and that's it! O_O May try to go in extra early tomorrow to practice and brace myself for my teacher's thrashing. Heehee. Tough love...

While I Was Away...
Note: Rather long section! Feel free to skim or skip it. ^_^

Friday
I had off today: no school, no work, nothing! It felt so great. My sister also had most of the day off, so she and I thought we'd go shopping for our mom, whose birthday would be the next day. ^^ We went to the Annapolis mall, ate pizza at the California Pizza place (so yummy!), and browsed so many shops. My mom is so hard to shop for! I swear, she doesn't need anything but maybe a dumpster. Lol After 5 hours of walking around, we decided upon a couple nice things for her: button-up, sweater, necklace, and chocolate. ^^ Seriously though... I hate shopping for long periods of time... Kills the feet!

Saturday
Today turned out a bit different than what was planned. If you recall from my previous posts, last Saturday was supposed to be a wedding day. However, I didn't find out until last Thursday that it was bumped up to this upcoming Saturday. It's going to be one heck of a doozy with soooo much planned as it. Not only are we going to have the wedding, but we're also holding an opening ceremony for our church's building. It looks great by the way. We've started to lay down the floor; that should be done within the next week or so. So exciting! XD

So anyway, this past Saturday was also my mom's birthday. After working on the building project for a good long time, I headed straight across the street to Applebees. That's where my folks and I would meet. It was nice just chillin' with them without any fussing and whatnot. The food was all right, but the service was horrible. I mean, it wasn't our waitress: she was fine. But those cooks or whatever... But hey, it was a busy Saturday night, so it shouldn't have been a surprise. They did give us a coupon for the next time we came. ^^

My dad sent back Grave of the Fireflies and ordered Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala from NetFlix. It came in on Saturday. So after a long work day and a nice meal in my tummy, I watched and enjoyed it! Finally too... *faints* X3 It's probably been a year since I've seen the conclusion of the series itself. The movie was a great way to conclude the series although I still feel as though it missed something. Can't put my finger on it for sure... I'll have to watch it again. ^^

Sunday
After church, we further celebrated my mom's birthday with my sister and brother-in-law. My mom loved her gifts. However, the shirt was too small, and, of course, she let us know that. Lol. Oh well, can't win them all, right?

Know Your Anime!
Well done, well done! This game is a piece of cake for a lot of you. Sheesh!

Last time's Unknown was:

Haku - "Naruto"

So let's move on to today's new "Unknown":

Hmmm... Who is this character? Did I make it too easy? Lol

~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~

I hope to make some visits throughout the day. Right now, I'm at work, of which I don't have a lot. I'm trying to thinnly spread what I do have, but it won't last. Poo. Oh well! ^^

Buh-Bye! ~_o

   Zoom zoom

I'm alive! Yes, I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I mean, I know it's only been several days, but still... I intended to update sooner and pay more visits. Alas, school and work pay their toll on my soul.

So how have you all been? I've tried checking up on some of you the past few days... If I didn't leave a comment, that doesn't mean I didn't come read your posts. Sorry 'bout that! ^^;
Thanks for the comments on my new theme. I think it's a nice change from the red and black I've been doing of late. Also, to answer a question: No, I didn't make this wallpaper. Someone with talents and the tools did. ^^

I had a pleasant weekend. On Saturday, I went to my friend's bridal shower after working at the building project (for a really looong time!). It was nice and relaxing. We played a few games, one of which was actually boring! Lol It was "Find the safety pins in this big bowl of rice" game. All of the ladies participated, which made the game seem really long. The person who won the game found only 2 safety pins. I swear, if the pins had been in their "open" position, I think people would've found many more. Plus, that would've also spiced up the game too. XD
Her wedding is in less than 4 days!!!! O_O

Sunday, I went to church all day. Since my group didn't have to go to the project, my dad and I just headed home afterwards for some good ol' and muchly appreciated R&R. I thought I do some homework but then remembered that I didn't catch Saturday's Death Note. So I went on YouTube to watch the 3rd episode... and the 4th, 5th, and 6th...! O_O I couldn't resist... The series really does get interesting. I so should pick up manga. Lazy me. *smacks hand*

Daddy's New Car!
Sweet! My dad finally got his company car Monday. The company he works for supplies their full-time employees with a new car, then after 2 years or X-number of miles, they can switch it or buy it! Anyway, my dad ordered a silver 2008 Dodge Charger:

It has a ton of space in it. Unfortunately, I can't drive it until I turn 21. >_< But that's okay. I can wait. Besides, it's like a boat, so I would probably be uncomfortable driving it. What I really want to do is hop into the trunk because it's so big. It has this safety feature in the trunk just in case you somehow lock somebody in it: there's a lever or switch that you can pull that will release the trunk door. Nice. I guess no hi-jacking people in a Charger. ^^
The other downer is that it only has 190 HP. Lol I was hoping he could get the one with at least 250 HP but cest la vie. ^^

Know Your Anime!
Yeah, that's a cheezy little name, but what the heck. *throws arms up in the air* Some of you guys are really good at this! Or maybe it's just me who stinks at making this game tough. *shrugs* Lol Whatever whatever, as my friend would say. ^^

Bankotsu - Leader of the Shichinintai, the Seven Man Army

So here's today's new "Unknown." I bet you all get this lickety split. XD

~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~_*~

I hope to make some visits throughout the day. While the people at the coal company have kept me longer, the guy who wanted to keep still hasn't given me any work (Budgeting). So, I'm trying to spread what work I do have as thin as possible, but still that won't keep me busy for long. So I'm switching back and forth from working to visiting you. Lol

Toodles! ~_o

Hey you guys! Wow! I don't think I've ever had so many come by and leave nifty comments. Thanks a bunch! *hugs everyone* I love hearing from you all. I must say... A lot of you all posted yesterday! It was amazing to see so much blue in the backroom. ^_^

New Month, New Theme
As you may notice, I changed my theme to Wolf's Rain. It feels funny not having Bleach up anymore, but that's okay. I still think that series rocks... Speaking of Bleach, are any more episodes going to air? I hope so. T_T
Anyway, I thought I'd choose Wolf's Rain since I don't really see it a lot around here. Plus, it's a bit of a change from the hard-core, red, black and darkness of my previous layout. ^^ Ya like?

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. From reading a majority of your posts, you all had a blast last night! Awesome. XD Some of you should post up some pics of your costumes! Like Iruka Sensei and her Devilish costume... Kimmeh with her Tamari costume... And others that sounded so cool... Hey, I'll be visiting you all! *points at everybody*

You know, that reminds me of a time that I wore a costume while in Africa! We were doing a skit in front of some kids, and I was picked to be the Devil. However, this wasn't your normal devil with horns and a pitch fork. No, I was a tutu-wearing, parrot-winged, piggy wielding a sword. It was a sad sight to behold, but the kids loved it. I wish I had pics...

Things to Do
Ah. Tomorrow, no, today I have no school or work! Yeehaw! I'm so glad. Now I can use the day off to do some necessary things, such as:

-Do some household chores
-Go to school to train my ear some more *shakes head* ^^;
-Buy my friend her bridal shower gift - canisters for flour, sugar, etc. ^^ To Bed, Bath and Beyooonond...
-Something else, but it slips my mind as of right now...

Name for My Game
You guys did great with naming that anime character! It was Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist. So those of you who got it can pat yourselves on the back. *big smile*

First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye

Before I continue with today's new "Unknown," I need your help. It's rather small and trivial, but I like to involve you all somehow. Anywho, can you all come up with a little name for this game of mine? Nothing is coming to mind... so I need your creativity! If you would, give me your choice(s) via PM or in your comment. I'll go through them and use the one that sounds best. ^^

OK, here's today's new Unknown:

Who Am I?

All righty then. I'll end things there. It's roughly 12:30 as I'm typing this post. *yawns* Good thing I can sleep in... Bad thing is that I won't touch coffee for fear of becoming addicted! O_o Strange? Me? Yes...

Toodles! *hugs*

Hey everyone! Seems like you all managed with the Otaku going down last weekend. I must say, I wasn't expecting it to be down for such a long time (it seemed), but then again, Adam is doing some major "stuff" with the Otaku. Anyway, I thought I'd play it safe and stay off the past couple days. ^^

Halloweeny!

Today is Halloween. While I don't celebrate this particular holiday, I thought I'd still celebrate something even more important: Today is Sesslover18's birthday! Happy 19th, Sesshy! *hugs* If you haven't already, you should go and wish her a pleasant B-day. ^^

Good News Nobody!
Heehee... I got that line from Futurama. ^^' But I do have some good news concerning work.

Today was supposed to be my last day of work here at the ol' mine company. However, one gentleman (who's my boss's boss - make sense?) has been trying to keep me on for much longer, talking to HR to see if there are any other positions I can help out. Today, it must have come to his mind to utilize me himself. So now I get to stay until December! Yay! The moolah definitely helps with college expenses and upcoming car bills. *sighs* Easy come easy go, right?
Well, this will also give me more time to get them little gifts of appreciation. I actually had already prepared some "Thank You" cards for them in advance, each with a chibi animation of them! Heehee...

Something New to Do, Take 2!
Something just came to mind one night, so I thought I'd try it. Unfortunately, when I initially posted this, that's when the Otaku went down, so I only had one person visit/comment. Lol
Below I have posted a partial image of an anime character so you all can try to identify who or what it is. Let's see how sharp you are. ^^

Who Am I?

There's no prize or anything (Sorry!), and all are welcome to give it a shot. You can think of it has an anime quizzy, to keep you on top of your favorite anime. XD I'll give you the correct answer next time I post.

Note: Le Kun-san, you were very close, at least, with what anime series it came from!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*
With that, I'll say good-bye. Hopefully, the Otaku won't shut down on me when I post this like it did last time. ^^ Take care, everyone! Be safe tonight!!

Wow! I normally don't get that many comments, but my last post has to be a record! 3! ^^ It's all good. I can't blame a lot of you all since I haven't been able to come around much.
Lately, I've been feeling really tired. Plus, things between my mom and me are a bit shaky. *rubs temples*

Bloody Mid-terms
I only had one mid-term to take: a Music Theory 3 test. It was actually broken up into 2 sections: one was written while the other was an aural exam.
Yesterday, we finally got our results back... I swear, our teacher must've gone through 2 red pens in the course of the 8 tests. Hence, I say "Bloody Mid-terms" in my title. Ironically, despite the amount of red on my written section, I got the highest grade. XP Still wasn't that great... and don't even ask me about my aural. I feel tone deaf or something. *laughs* Gotta work on that Auralia...

CLEAN YOUR ROOM!!
That's what my mom told me yesterday morning. I had just gotten back from riding with my dad to the hospital. On a brief side not: My dad went to the hospital to get his knee operated on. On both knees, he has 2 bone spurs, which produce a good amount of pain. So he finally is getting something done about them. He'll get his other knee operated on in a couple weeks.
Ok, so back to my mom. I came home with intentions of running inside to grab my iPod. Well, my mom must've heard me: she comes out and just says, "Did you clean your room?" (She left a note on my bed the other night to do so...) I told I hadn't yet but would get to it. "NO! You're going to clean it now!" However, I wanted to go to school early today to do some testings. "NOPE! NOW!" *shakes head*
Since I didn't want to get into an argument, I did as I was told. *shrugs* For the first few minutes, I was grumbling to myself and thinking of some not-so-nice things... But further along in the project, I began to enjoy it. I swear, in those 3 hours, my rooms looks completely different. I actually have a floor! Imagine that!!

And you know what? The whole friction began when I told my mom that all her jackets were on the coat rack, i.e. my dad and I had no where to put ours! Go figure. Someone explain to me how mole hills become mountains?

Too Much Caffeine?
I'm going to post up that video again. It's with that really hyper fellow from our church. He's not a teacher or anything, though he does have a Ph.D. O_o Yeah, I know... XD

By the way, his 2 favorite beverages are coffee and more coffee. No such thing as decaf to him. If the video doesn't work, let me know. I'm posting this at work and can't see the video myself. If it is quirky, I'll fix it at home.

Something New to Do
Something just came to mind the other night, so I thought I'd try it. Ok, here it is:
I'm going to put up a pic of an anime, or part of one, and you all try to identify it, who or what it is. Let's see how sharp you are. ^^

There's no prize or anything, and all are welcome to give it a shot. You can think of it has an anime quizzy, to keep you on top of your favorite anime.

With that, I shall say my good-byes. Take care everyone! I'll try to visit some time today! *hugs* You're the bestest! XD
