._.
Eh, I'm not in the best of moods today. :/ I went to the movie theater on Friday to see Kill Bil vol. 2, which was awesome, I might add, and came home to realize that my wallet was missing. We went straight back to the theater, but by the time we got there, the next time was showing, and people were sitting in our seat. So we gave them our name and number and had no choice but to head back home. On the way to my soccer game the next day, we stopped by again, but they still hadn't seen anything, and we got a chance to search the seats, but came up empty handed. So we gave them our number again, and today we have yet to recieve any sort of call. We figure that someone either took the money out and threw the wallet away, or stole the whole wallet, or the custodians picked it up with the trash not knowing that it was a wallet. Either way, I'm basically screwed. For the record, the wallet had $130, my license, my military ID, and a library card. ._.

Like I mentioned earlier, I had a soccer game on Saturday against the team of one of my friends. More bad news: we lost, about 4-7. It was just so damn hot outside that it made me exauhsted just walking around, and I drank about half of my water before the game. I scored 3 goals, but it wasn't enough to carry my team to victory. :/ After I got home from the soccer game, my grandparents were over visiting and we had a nice dinner with them.

On Sunday.. it was even hotter than Saturday, and we just sat around. I did try to go to a neighbor's trampoline, but after 15 minutes, the sun just got to be too much.

So yeah, that was my rather boring weekend in a nutshell. I'll try to do something next weekend. For you guys. My loyal fans! :o

I ran out of faces.
I just re-did my entire myOtaku, as you can see. It took a lot of work, and a lot of time, but I did my best.

..wow, nothing gets past you. :/ Okay, it didn't take too long; I've been reading a lot of Naruto manga lately, so I decided to base the style around the series, more specifically, Naruto.. the character (see avatar). I also changed the midi to something that fits in with the Naruto theme.. though it was more random than anything, since I've never actually seen the anime, but aparently it's the entrance theme. <_< In any case, feedback on the re-vamp would be most appreciated. ^_^

The past week have been typical in terms of a Spring vacation. I just did my own thing every day, and enjoyed each moment that I was out of school. >:D The only thing was, I was always having to wake up early, so I got very little sleep. :/ Whether it was getting up to go to the beach, breakfast, church, or eventual force of habit, I was always getting up earlier than 9:00. X_X Speaking of which, I've been at the beach for most of my vacation, in order for my parents to get things settled with a new beach house that we're buying. David came over on Tuesday to watch The Matrix Revolutions which I had recently bought, and ended up staying the night, and then that morning we had to leave at around 9 to get to the beach by lunch time. We didn't swim or anything, much too cold for that, but rather used my grandparent's beach house as a place to get away and, like I said, finalize things on the new beach house.

Wednesday and Thursday I hung around the house watching different behind-the-scenes videos from some of my Matrix DVDs, and played a lot of Animal Crossing. Before now, I had only played it once or twice when I got it around Christmas time, and then stopped because I knew it would require a lot of attention that I just didn't have the time for. Spring Break was the perfect opportunity to start over and get my new town underway. That sly Tom Nook.. giving my house an upgrade and then charging me 148,000 bells!!! >:o That will take quite a while to pay off. ~_~

Then on Friday my mom, brother, and I visited Salisbury University campus; a college that was located about an hour or so away from our beach house, and about 5 minutes from a huge mall, heh. It's a state college, which aparently isn't as high as the top colleges, but still not bad I think, and I was impressed with what I saw from it. It has a decent size campus, freshman dorms that aren't that bad, and an average class size of just 24. Like, the classrooms we saw were only slightly larger than what I'm used to in high school. Take that teachers who say that the professors will see us as a number rather than a name! Another good thing that we're all glad about is that they accept GPAs and SATs that aren't the best, so my 3.1 and 1100 actually have a good chance of getting in. ^_^ So yeah, I'm thinking about applying there next year for Fall '05.

Saturday was our trip home, and I don't remember too much of that day, so I guess we just hung out around the house and unpacked, lol. It was a nice day out, and I would later find out that I was invited to jump on a neighbor's trampoline, lol. I'll never grow old of those things. :p

On Sunday, Easter, I woke up early and was dragged, half asleep, to church. Shortly after arriving home from that, we went out to an Easter brunch with my grandparents at this naval place that my dad got reservations to through work. I always love brunches, heh, where I can eat as much breakfast food as I can in the buffet, and I stuffed myself for the rest of the day with just two plates full, each one with scrambled eggs, two linked sasauges, two strips of bacon, two french toast sticks, and a biscuit.

Today, I woke up out of force of habbit because of getting up early every other day on my break, and it's a good thing I did, because my mom and brother decided to go out to Best Buy and possibly see a movie. So we headed out and went to Walmart and Best Buy for my brother to get a watch and game, then to a food court for some Panda Express chinese food, then to Barnes & Nobles to get Flame of Recca manga 2 and 3 and Rurouni Kenshin 4, and finally to the movie theatre to see The Passion of the Christ. I thought it decent in terms of movies, certainly not as bad as so many people thought it to be. It did a good job at remaining faithfull to the bible and everything, going so far as to having the entire movie in subtitles, which would help in other countries as well. Very bloody, very brutal, very sad. I also think that, contrary to what I've heard, Jews were portrayed in a more negative light than the Romans were. According to the movie, despite all of the pain they inflicted to Jesus, they only did it because the Jews wanted him to suffer. If you're curious, the movie ended as you see Jesus' body in blankets kind of disappear and then you see him standing next to it with holes in his hands, walking out of the tomb.

And that's all for this week, folks. Not that anybody is reading, anyway, lol. My rank has dropped from it's peak of 7 down to 48. Oh well. *goes back to reading his Naruto manga*

:o
Soccer season really seems to have crept up on me. Our first practice had been cancelled for various reasons, so we ended up having just one practice before the game; a wet, muddy day where many people never even bother to show up. So not only did the game mark the first time that we had all played together, but we actually got the uniforms at the field, lol. It's just a recreational team, after all, not anything fancy like a school or travel team, which I play to make myself think that I'm really good at soccer. Trust me, I've played in the higher-up leagues, and it isn't for me. The dedication you put into the sport is mind-boggling, and just plain wears me out. -.- So what do I do to train in the off season? Not a damn thing. I sit on my ass playing video games, watching tv, and doing.. this. <_< Then I come back after doing no training, and average a goal or two a game in the rec league. Remember, it's not bragging if it's true. ;| I sometimes wonder what would happen if I actually did train in the off-season, but you have to keep in mind that by off-season I'm talking about winter and summer; extreme heat or extreme cold. I wish I had a tredmill or something, because I'd actually use that.

So yeah, that's my weekly rant. Now for something.. completely different.

I seem to be hanging out wih my friend David more and more often. Friday night, he calls me up and asks if I want to go see a movie with him and his brother at this one mall, and I had nothing better to do, so I went. Since my parents were out in the Oldsmobile, the only car I had to use was the van, which had a light out, so I just took that with the idea that I would go up there with David's brother and when I got back, I would spend the night there. Now you have to understand that this is a family that's really into cars. David, his mom, his dad, his older brother John, and their three older brothers grew up learning the necesseties to being car experts. They have a huge garage with about 3 cars in it, including a Porche getting worked on, and about 3 cars in the driveway, and 2 more in the other garage. So, of course, David's older brother has this small, probably souped up car that he continually pushes the limits of on the road with his trusty police radar detector. :O So we get to to the mall in probably half the time it would have taken me, and have to practically run to the theater, only to find out that because the movie we wanted to see, Lady Killers, was rated R, John could only buy two tickets - one for himself, and one for one of us. So we sort of gave up on the movie and started walking around. Have you guys ever been to a mall on a Friday night? I've never seen so many teens in one place outside of school.. I was scared for my life. :/ Not to mention people walking around asking if I wanted to watch their rap battles. O.o So the first thing that I did in this big mall was search for DDR, but no luck. The best I found in the arcade version was a cheap knock-off.. eh, Sen can tell you the name, I forget now. So after walking around for a while, we headed back, and picked up a couple movies at Blockbuster; Gothica, which was rated R, and Runaway Jury, which wasn't rated R and was aparently to cover up the other movie. o.o When we got home, we waited a while for his parents to go to sleep before putting in Gothica. We would have played DDR, but David's dad and John had to get up early to go to work. It was late, and unfortunately for me, I was tired. I'd be watching the movie, and then close my eyes for what seemed like a second, and opened them 20 minutes later, causing me to miss a lot of crucial parts. What I did pick up on was that it was a horror movie staring Halley Barrey who went from an analysist in an instution for the mentally insane, to actually being a patient there herself. It's a really bazare movie, and I'll have to see it again to catch up on the parts I missed, sometime.

I woke up on Saturday, played DDR a couple times, had lunch, and started watching the Runaway Jury movie before I had to get home and get ready for soccer. So I got home, put my gear on, and headed out for a 2:25 game. We got our uniforms there, and I met the rest of the team, then we played a team with a lot of people that I knew on it, and a really good goalie who was on my team for the last couple seasons. See, in this small of a county, everyone pretty much knows everyone else in the league, especially the good players. For a first game, I think we did pretty well, though we ended up losing 4 to 2. The other team just got some lucky shots, and I think on better field conditions, or simply on another day after we practice a little more, we could have beaten them. I didn't do too bad in the game, myself, with a goal and an assist. So, that's not too bad.

For the rest of Saturday, and on Sunday I just sat around doing nothing for the most part. We're supposed to be on Spring Break right now, but the damn snow days caused us to make-up two of these days. >:O So I'll get off on Wednesday, which will last through Monday. Of course, I can't start resting yet, I already have at least 2 quizes/tests planned for tommorrow. #$%#$^&^$&$#!@#&&*!!!!!!!!!!

o.o
It's that time of the week again. The day that I explain what I did over the weekend in my offline life, which has been suprisingly picking up lately. And that's great, I think. While I love all of you guys online, its good to get out every once in a while. The problem is that I don't really seem to have any definite.. best friends offline. I have really good friends, yeah, but none that I can.. turn for advice for despite the situation. Maybe I'm just beeing greedy, I don't know. At the same time, though, I absolutely hate being a burden to people. So I hold in my feelings a lot, get into a depression, and find that the only way to relieve this is by talking about it to someone, which suddenly makes me a burden. Eh, it's an ongoing circle that I'm not strong enough to overcome. But enough being sad, let me get into the weekend! ^_^

Truth be told, I really wasn't planning to do anything over the weekend. Whatever would happen would happen, but I was hoping that I wouldn't be stuck inside all weekend. Luckily, Friday night one of my friends, David, calls and asks if I want to hang out and play some DDR. I had been telling him all about it in class, and he really wanted to try it out, so I picked him up, brought him home and we played it for.. what must have been three hours straight. In the meantime, I was steadily preparing to go on to Standard mode, and David was struggling on beginner. It was a lot of fun, and when we got too tired to play anymore, I set up blankets and snacks and stuff and put on Fight Club. Great movie, great movie, and he would agree too. So I fell asleep toward the beginning (around when they were making the soap) since I had seen it before, and he told me the next morning that he gotten all the way through it.

We woke up fairly early on Saturday. I think it was around seven when we were wakened by the dog barking, and then at eight when my brother and my mom were in the basement doing stuff, but each time we were able to go back to sleep, and then finally got up at 9:30. David always complains about how he gains about 5 pounds from snacks whenever he comes over to my house, so after eating half a box of doughtnuts each, we had some healthy apple pie. ;p We played a little more DDR, some other video games, and then we went back to his house to play some basketball. Unfortunately, it had rained a little earlier, so the court was kind of wet, and we got some big brooms to wipe them off. <.< By the time everyone got there, there was only about 5 people total, and we had a 2-on-3 game with me, David, and this other kid, Kevin, from our History class against these other two kids, and we lost pretty badly. :/ They left right after, so Kevin ended up leaving, and I went into David's house and started watching "The Rundown" with his brother and his brother's girlfriend. God.. what a terrible movie, I swear. So about 20 minutes into it, I drove David back to my house once again, and we played more DDR, in addition to watching a lot of Family Guy, and we ended it off with a little Super Smash Bros Melee. At around 7:30, he was picked up by his mom, and ended up going to a mall to buy DDR for himself, haha. I told him to try to get Max 1, since I had the 2nd one, but he couldn't find it and just got Max 2. He tells me now that in two weeks he's going to be better than me, but even if this does happen, just remember that I taught him everything he knows! >:o

So that about sums up my weekend right there. On Sunday I just hung out and relaxed, and then that night Shin and Sen showed me this great dating sim based off Love Hina on newgrounds.com. Oh man, I played that for hours, and hope to do the same tonight. I was hoping to get a hair cut today, so my mom set up an appointment and everything, and when I get there, guess what? I found out that she left over and hour before! Rediculous. Soccer practice starts tommorrow, and my first game is Saturday, and I have to look pretty. Ah well. See you all next Monday.

O_O
I've been having a lot of busy weekends lately, but this past one takes the cake. I was home for about.. six hours from when I got home on Friday until I went to bed on Sunday. Talk about on the ball. o.o

Friday afternoon, I got home from school and finished watching The Green Mile which I started the night before, and then left to go to my friend, David's house. The plan was to pracitice soccer by kicking a ball around, but in all honesty we spent more time playing basketball than anything else. I don't get a chance to play basketball often, due to the fact that I'm no longer on a recreational team, I don't take gym, and my hoop has fallen so many times that it's really hopeless to get a good experience out of it anymore, so I didn't mind too much. We played Knock-out as well as 2-on-2, which I of course dominated, until around 6 pm. Another kid that came over left when we said that we were going to be practicing soccer, since he had been practicing for the school team after school and was tired of it. I got my stuff on and we kicked the ball around for a while until it got too dark to see anything, and I ended up coming in, having dinner, and eventually simply staying the night. He burned me a Sublime CD, which I'm actually listening to right now, and we played video games for a while, namely Crazy Taxi. The next morning, I left around noon, got home, and was back out the door at 2.

My next destination would be my old neighborhood, 45 minutes away and my first time driving by there by myself. The drive went suprisingly well, and I got to my friend, Wesley's house at around 2:50. I hadn't been to his house since.. the summer time, I'd say, and I couldn't have been more shocked at the difference, lol. They had been working on the house when I stayed the night last time, and between then and now they had added an addition to the basement, which became my friend's room. And quite an awesome room, too, I might add, with a slight Japanese coating. There was his $1,000 katana, his wooden sword, the ninja stars, throwing knives, scatterred NewType magazines, different animes, video game systems, a guidebook on Japan, his awesme stereo set-up, collectable action figures set up around his room both in and out of packages, his computer area under a top bunk of a bunk bed, signed girl and car posters everywhere.. the list goes on. What I do know is that it made me realize just how plain my room is.

When I first got there, nothing was really happening, so he had me chill for a while, and I went out and swung the katana around in the backyard. Not too long after, we drove down to Giant and stocked up on snacks like a couple pizzas, extra cheese, some buns, more cheese, solami, about about four bottles of soda. We went back to his house and chilled a while longer, and then when one of his friends got there, we all set out to drive down to some dude's apartment to pick some people up. The kid who lives there would have come with us, but he was on house arrest for.. drug possession from what I picked up. o.o; It's a good thing he didn't come, though, lol, because with the other two people we picked up, that filled up the car.

So we came back and had some of his mom's chilli, which was really good I might add, and one of the people we picked up, an old friend of mine, James, walked back to his house to eat, since he didn't like chilli. He ended up coming back later while we were watching American Weding, but I never even noticed him until he had been there a while, lol. This other kid showed up at his house, too, which made six total, including me. SO yeah, we hung out in my friend's room for a while, then went on a walk, came back, watched some anime, and fell asleep. The next morning I was on driving duty again, and literally almost got lost dropping a couple people off, despite growing up for 11 years in the area, but I managed to find my way back. ^_^ And when I did get back, it was just me and Wes, and he had cooked up one of the pizzas, of which I ate half. More chilling, and another good friend of mine in the area came over, and we watched some anime, playing games, and talked. He wasn't there for too long before we left to go to James' house, which was right up the street, and we played TimeSplitters 3 there for about an hour, then ate some cup noodles, and watched a little anime before my mom called the cell phone she had given me and asked me to come home. I let my friends borrow some of the anime, namely FLCL and the Kenshin movies, then I dropped off Wesley and headed on home.

I got back around 5:30 pm, but then we left again at 6 to some party at a kid's house who was on my soccer team before that I don't even remember. So we ate dinner there, played some cards, and left at around 7:30. By this time, of course, I was completely exhausted from the entire weekend, and I checked a few things online before going to sleep for the night.

What a weekend. =_=

^_^
Damn, I know it hasn't been too very long since my last entry, but I almost forgot how to write the font color tag. Almost. ;p

I can definitely see my offline life start to get a lot more active as of these past couple weeks. I figure that I'll make a post after every weekend or so, just to keep you updated when I do something interesting, heh. This past Friday I went over to one of my friend's house with another friend to spend the night, and that was cool. We played a hell of a lot of DDR, until the point of just dropping from exhausion, and we cooled off with some Chrystal Chronicals, though it was my first time playing and I totally sucked. We played until my other two friends got tired of my suckiness, and then we watched Boondock Saints while eating some pizza. The movie is about these two Irish brothers who kill mob bosses and other scum because they think that they have been sent from God.. awesome movie, and my friends wholeheartedly agreed. So after that, we finished up with Chrystal Chronicals, and then we went up to his room for a while, and went to bed an hour or so later. The next morning we didn't really do much, and at about noon, I drove my other friend home, since we live around the same area.

So Saturday was kind of a chill-out day for me, catching up on rest, and.. oh yeah, reading some new manga. Holy crap, my little brother is so awesome, lol. He just went out and bought Kenshin manga 1, 2, and 3, and Trigun 1 because he wanted to. @_@ Needless to say, I'll have something to keep me busy for the next couple weeks, assuming I go slow and suck out as much time as possible from these mangas. And still, he wants to buy more Kenshin manga when he finds it. XD

On Sunday my family and I got all dressed up and went down to the Baltimore theater. They told me that we were going to see this comedy routine, so I really couldn't understand the whole suit and tie get-up, but that's what everyone else wore too, lol. We got in there, and it turned out to be two old guys (their names escape me) who did a show together probably 50 years ago, so I didn't catch a lot of their inside jokes. There was also a pretty old woman there doing impressions, but she wasn't really that funny. The whole thing wasn't really laugh-out-loud funny for me, actually. I mean, it was entertaining, sure, but nothing extrodinarily funny that made me laugh. After the performance, we went out to dinner and I ate a ton. A loaf of bread, a very large plate of spagetti and meatballs, french fries, and a slice of cheesecake, all practically licked clean. While we were there, we also found out that we got a beach house that my parents put an offer on. It costs fucking.. twice as much as our house, but we can afford it by selling out rental house, and renting this one out when we're not using it. Still though, I can totally see my dad using this as an excuse not to buy something for a year. He's certainly running out of good excuses. :/

So looking forward.. I plan on practicing for soccer with my friend David at his house on Friday, and going to my friend's house in my old neighborhood for a little party on Saturday. Don't expect a lot of information about the party, lol.

:)
Well, some of you may have noticed that I haven't been online much lately, and you know what that means. Lots of interesting things to write about on my myOtaku!

I had quite a weekend this past.. weekend. Other than on Sunday night, I didn't sleep in my own bed at all, and have been spending more time with some of my offline friends. Friday afternoon, after careful arranging, I picked up a friend that's in my History class at his house at around 4. He's been on my soccer team once or twice in the past, and over this year we've become pretty good friends in 7th period, since he sits like right in front of me, and we share similar.. interests in women. ;p So he came over, and we spent the night in the basement playing video games, watching TV, watching movies, throwing stuff at my brother, looking at yearbooks, and going online. So he stayed the night, and I drove him back home at around noon. Fun fun.

After he left, I got online for a while only to be IMed by a friend of mine who's actually in my more distinguished group of friends, and he invited me to a small party at his house with some other friends of ours -- the self-proclaimed anime club of our school. :p So at around 5:15, I drove over to his house, and was actually the first one there, so I practiced on DDR Max 2 while we waited for other people. Two more people were to show up at my friend Joe's house; Rob, Joe's best friend and the person that usually sets up the equipment at anime club, and Art, president of anime club and undoubtedly the coolest person in school for his obnoxious humor and his ability to converse with just about anyone. So we started off the night by playing some DDR, and then played a little N64. For dinner, his mom made a ton of french fries, this spicey chicken stuff, and really good, but not quite perfect, mozzarella sticks. I had a Dr. Pepper to wash it all down, which easily added up to at least 6 by the end of the night. After that, we played some GameCube games like Ultimate Muscle and Double Dash, and then we played all of these NES and SNES games off a burned disk on Art's modded PlayStation, which was totally awesome. When two people were playing a game, we played a little pool while we waited, and when we just got too tired to do anything else, we watched Berserk until we fell asleep. The next morning we woke up and ate pancakes and bacon, and then spent half the time looking for Rob's memory card, which turned out to be on the couch that he had checked first. lol

When I got home on Sunday, I realized how much fun I had had playing DDR, and started pricing out the game and pads online. In the end, however, I just called up Walmart (the closest store that sells video games) and they had DDR Max 2 with one pad, so I drove down and bought it. I would have liked to get DDR Max 1, since my friends had described the difference between 1 and 2 being Japanese songs and Eurpean songs, but I'm an impacient bastard. When I got home, however, the pad worked fine, but the disk kept reading "Disk Error". So I tried Need For Speed: Underground, and that worked fine, so I ended up going back and getting a new game. But low and behold.. I got an error for that too! By then I was extremely pissed off, and in an effort to prove that the disk was fine, I tried some of my older games, and got the same error. So I opened up my PlayStation 2 (I had already had to do this once before because of an error with DVDs), and cleaned out the dust and shifted a few parts noted on a past episode of.. X-Play, I think, until the disk finally worked. And then I was in DDR heaven for the rest of the night. ~_^

Then today, although I got done with my graded homework at around 3:35, I had an architectural drawing due tommorrow in art that I was working on until around 9, factoring in dinner, a nap, and some TV, of course. Still.. that thing is taking me forever. I wasn't able to play any DDR tonight. :/

Maybe this will explain where I've been hiding lately, heh.

>:O
Okay, originally I was only planning on discussing a few movies that I've seen lately in this post, but another topic has been raised to my attention that I am thuroughly upset about. I still will tell you about the movies, though, since I really have nothing better to do. But.. damn.

Anyway, I've been seeing quite a few movies these past couple days. They're all pretty good movies, too, ranging from action to comedy, and a thin line inbetween.

The first movie that I saw lately was 'Phone Booth', on Monday night using On Demand with Comcast (On Demand basically lets you choose what you want to watch, when you want, free of charge, and you can pause and rewind and stuff). I had heard a lot of mixed reactions about this film, but it seemed intruiging to me, and I hadn't gotten a chance to see it in theaters when it came out. Overall, I think I liked the film a decent amount. It had some good actors, and well played parts, and it was interesting to see how an entire thriller movie would be played out inside of this telephone booth. Without giving too much away, it's about this guy named Stu who has been cheating on his wife, and a sniper who literally accounts for every situation in order to "teach him a lesson". Sounds kind of strange, I know, but it's one of those things that you have to see for yourself.

The next movie that I saw, I rented from Blockbuster, called 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'. It's this awesome British gangster film (yes, there are gangsters in England) with literally over 20 main characters to keep track of. So many main characters really gave the film a lot of depth in story line once you are able to keep track of them (which usually entails you to watch the film more than once), and if you liked 'Snatch', you'll love this film, basically because it's the same producers, some of the same actors, and almost acts like a prequal to it. Highly recommended, and I think I'm going to buy the movie when I bring it back.

The final movie that I saw over the past couple days was.. um.. *cough* Half Baked. Despite being filled to the brim with marijuana and actually having kids in the movie appear to actually be smoking it, it's a hilarious classic. Trust me, when you do get past your drug morals, it is pretty funny to watch, though I would recommend not to watch it around your parents. :p

Okay, now to discuss the issue that I mentioned earlier. Well, my mom just got back from attending a meeting at my new school, which is opening up next year. As it turns out, the schedule will not be exactly like what I have now in my current school. Sure, the starting and ending time will aparently be the same, but during classes.. there are no longer 8 periods in a day. This is because lunch becomes seperate, and goes from 45 minutes (what we have now) down to 30 minutes, and the classes go up from 45 minutes to 50 minutes each. And that's not all. We're running on a block schedule for period 4 and 5, which is going to switch off everyday with 90 MINUTE PERIODS. First off all, how the hell do they plan to scedule that? Would only specific classes be block? Only English and Math, for example? What if you get out early, or aren't taking a Math? Or both? lol God, and I though 45 minutes in each class was tough. I'm in trouble, next year, but at least I'll be leaving with a new experience where I have to deal with a problem that has been presented. :/

One last thing before I go.. please lend Shin your support and love.

And Arcadia, too. Can't forget her.

I seem to be the only person not updating often. Why? Because I'm lazy, that's why. It's this lazyness that keeps me from doing more productive things in my life, like getting a job and.. making money from a job. Why do I need to make money? To buy stuff, you pinko commie bastards! >:O But also to save up for a trip to California this summer (yes Desbbreko, Southern Cali) to go to Anime Expo and hopefully meet a few people. This plan originally called for something more extreme, even along the lines of an OtakuBoards road trip, but in the end we realized that the idea might be a little extravagent, and would require a lot more money than we could probably afford. We? Yeah, we, but I'm not sure if he'd want me telling his name, or even about this trip in the first place.

The first plan, with the road trip, would have first required me to have a drivers license, which I have now already anyway, and have used to my advantage twice thus far. I haven't gotten much bothering about it from more of my distinguished friends, but this one Sophmore in 7th period wants me to drive him places now, lol. I doubt he's really serious, and in any case I don't really like people who just hang around you for a ride. In 7th period, there is also this one girl.. erm.. yeah. Sen knows who I'm talking about, lol. My friend and I both agree that she's one of the, if not the most attractive girl in the school, and aparently single. Am I going to do anything? I doubt it, I'm much too shy to approach a girl out of no where, so I am waiting for an act from God. :p

Elsewhere in school, my friend has once again started his campaign for me to.. spend some time with him, if you know what I mean. He makes some pretty good points on the "why not" side, actually, but is kind of weak on "why". He has a comeback for just about every excuse, and wants a good answer, so I'm simply sticking with "I don't know my limitations, and am afraid of finding them out." Give me strength.

So what was the point of this post? Nothing much, just a bunch of rambling with me asking questions and answering myself. I hope my update somehow brought you to my site. >:O

^_^
Teehee, I finally got my driver's license! Watch out, Maryland! >:D

The test was actually a lot shorter and easier than I thought. I went up to the MVA yesterday (Valentine's Day) at around 8:45 in the morning, at which point I took a test out back in a secluded area that included parallel parking, the 3-point-turn, and going forwards and backwards, in addition to a lot of common sense things like turning using your turn signal and such. I passed, but I almost failed because when I started to go backwards, I failed to look behind me at first, because I was looking straight ahead at the lines to make sure I was going straight. I eventually started using the mirrors and such, and my instructor tells me I would have failed otherwise. In total, I had about 6 points in terms of mistakes, which comes from 3 areas of 2 points each, so it really wasn't any major stuff. The important thing is that I got my license, even though it's technically a provisional license that Maryland requires drivers to have for 18 months without a moving violation (in other words, getting pulled over by a cop).

From there, I went over to my mom's friend's house, where I got $20 for helping her out with her website. It was simple, common sense things like resizing pictures and adding pages, and the money was very generous of her. =)

"Nothing's happening.. nothing's happening.. it's over. People in the audience look pissed."

If you know where that's from, you sir, or ma'am, have my respect. ^_^

So yeah, I didn't really do anything after I got home until about 7, when, after settling things with the insurance company (whereas I'm aparently being charged in $600 worth of stock from my dad =_=), I drove myself over to my friend Jimmy's house. My other friend, Art, was there too, as was Jimmy's girlfriend, and we had a good time watching a movie (Paulie.. yes, the one about the parrot), playing a board game, and just hanging out. After Jimmy's girlfriend left, we played DDR and watched another movie (The History of the World.. old comedy movie, I had never heard of it). It was my first time playing DDR, and needless to say, I sucked. So Art and Jimmy played that for a while as I sat on the bed and watched. Art.. he's the kind of person who can get along with just about anyone. I'd probably regard him as the most popular kid in school; not the preppy, drug kind, but the down-to-earth, obnoxious, funny kind of popular. His wardrobe is also very diverse, and you can find him wearing just about anything, lol. Jimmy, however, is one of those people who does nothing but plays video games. He owns me, you, or anyone at just about any game, because he plays so many hundreds of hours at each one. Anywho, I was originally going to go home before my mom's 11:30 curfew, but I decided to stay the night, and I left the next morning.

As soon as I got home from Jimmy's, my brother had decided to see a movie, and I went with my family to see 50 First Dates, the Adam Sandler movie. I thought it was pretty good, but due to the story line, it was really difficult for the movie to develope. The movie is about this guy named Henry (played by Sandler) who lives in Hawaii and dates all of these tourists because he doesn't want to make a commitment. One day, however, he starts falling for a local girl, but soon finds out that she is very different from other girls. You see, ever since an accident that occured about a year ago, Lucy has lost her short term memory, and wakes up every day thinking that it's the day after the crash. In other words, Sandler finds that he can flirt as much as he wants with this girl one day, but the next day she won't even know who he is. Perfect for a guy who doesn't want a commitment, right? Eh, not exactly, but I don't want to spoil the movie for you all. :p

That's about it, I suppose. My guess is that the boards will be back as early as Tuesday.
