people have hope because in the face of death, that's all that's left. that's the one thing that cannot be taken away. without hope, nothing can ever be achieved (think of rights for women, minorities, etc.. people fighting in war..) but that's just my opinion. but i do think what you wrote has truth and is rather poetic. death is not the end all though.
and while that had little to do with your site, 'cool background' is not the message i want to leave.
