i cant remember the last time i posted
hey guys, well.... did i post like yesturday? i think i was going to but then i forgot or something like that.... anyways... HOW YALL DOOIN!

So as i said, i think the last time i was here, the viewing for Faiths funeral was on wednesday. I cried, ofcourse, she looked like a little porcelain doll. I guess someone had made a dvd slide show of pictures as she was growing up. She was so cute! And while we were there crystal saw this guy (they used to be good friends) and she hadnt seen him in like 5 years or so. It was funny she looked like she was going to have a heart attack after seeing him.

Then the funeral was on thursday. It was the saddest funeral ive ever been to. But then afterwords it was kind of peaceful i guess you could say.

Then on friday i went to school. it really sucked. i just felt like really depressed and not wanting to be there. And then my friend Nick was there, which made me a little happier and also suprised the shit out of me. I felt bad cause i REALLY wanted to talk to him but we were having silent reading in class.. sucky..

well i just wanted to catch up with you guys, hopefully i'll stop by a few sites... oooh and doesnt anyone know whats up with inuyasha311?? i was told her name was deleted or something.

Girl struck by car dies from head injuries

A 5-year-old Ypsilanti Township girl who was struck by a car last week died from her injuries Monday morning at Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan.

Faith Ferguson was critically injured last Wednesday when she ran into Bunton Road near Lakeview mobile home park, apparently attempting to go after her 2-year-old brother.

Paul Ferguson, Faith's father, said she died at 8:47 a.m. of complications related to her head injuries.

Management at the Lakeview mobile home park set up a memorial fund for Faith at the Eastern Michigan University Credit Union, 761 Jenness Road, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Checks can be mailed or dropped off and should be made out to Faith's mother, Heather Ferguson. The Target store on Carpenter Road, where Heather Ferguson works, also is setting up a fund for Faith today, and details of that have not been finalized.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at South Side Baptist Tabernacle, 6710 Textile Road, Ypsilanti. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Stark Funeral Service Moore Memorial Chapel and at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday.

YAY! i did good!
Well i had a presentation for my english class today. and besides the scared shitless way i was talking in front the class (shaky and stuttering alot) i feel i did a very excellent job! Basically the presentation was on whats is a goal or your goal in life. and mine was to be an artist/ art teacher. i like forgot to say a billion things (i didnt have anything memorized i just said what i felt i needed) I had a bunch of my art projects... umm (thinks) i had like atleast 8 or so of them (1 from my sophmore year, 4 from my junior year, and three from this year) and everyone was all like ooh and ahhh! i was like yey im glad they like it! My teacher wanted me to make picture for her daughters room (3 ballerina pictures) another girl kept hinting to me that she liked tigger, and the another girl offered me $100 for the picture of the little asian kid i painted. (i told her if i dont sell it at the art show then ofcourse i would sell it to her) And i told my teacher that i would let her keep the avril lavigne one( it looks real good but it looks nothing like her)

Monday mourning.
blah... ok soo i missed the bus this morning.... just my luck right? im kind of glad though cause i was running for it and i didnt wanna be a huffy puffy cause i had to chase my bus down... (its always an awkward moment when your wheezing and everyone is staring at you trying to act like your not.. lol.. ) ...

Yesturday i got my hair cut, which i dunno why but everything i do lately ive kind of felt guilty... like eating, watching tv, showering, sleeping in, and now getting my hair cut. like im living my life normally .... and i know i should not feel guilty but all i can think of is a little girl slowly dying in the back of my head.

Really even though i feel bad for this, i will keep the update on Faith to the minumum, you will have to go to crystals site if you want any details. Last night is when they started taking faith off of the things that were keeping her alive, and now (since that time) it can take from 1 hr to 36 hours for her to pass. and when that happens i will be here to report the sad news. I want to thank all of you guys who have supported Crystal and I over the past week. It's been real helpful!

Girl's parents hold out hope, despite prognosis
Hit by a car, 5-year-old Faith Ferguson in coma
Saturday, April 02, 2005
BY JO COLLINS MATHIS
News Staff Reporter
As his daughter lay in a coma in intensive care upstairs, Paul Ferguson sat on a bench at Mott Children's Hospital, strong but fighting back tears.

"The doctors say she'll never wake up, but I can't give up on her," he said, his voice and eyes fatigued. "It's going to take a miracle."

A few feet away, a man pushing a woman in a wheelchair posed for a picture with their newborn baby bundled in pink. An older woman - perhaps a proud grandmother - snapped the picture.

The Fergusons were that proud couple five years ago January. He remembers the day well: He walked backwards down that same hallway, past Big Bird, his video camera zoomed in on his wife, Heather, and their firstborn. It was Heather's birthday.

Two years earlier, Heather had given birth to a stillborn daughter.

They named this baby Faith. "Because that's what Heather needed," he said.

On Wednesday, Faith was struck by a car while apparently trying to stop her 2-year-old brother, Cameron, from running into the street. She was thrown through the air and suffered severe brain injuries when she hit the pavement.

Now doctors offer little hope as dozens of friends and family keep vigil.

Ferguson said doctors told him their main goal now is to keep the brain from swelling. "They said it's going to be day by day for the next few days," he said. "We just have to wait and see."

The Fergusons are separated, and Faith had been living with her mother and brother at the home of her maternal grandmother, Diane Riddle, in Ypsilanti. Riddle said she had expressed worries just before the accident about traffic on the road where Paul Ferguson's mother lives.

"I work midnights at Eastern (Michigan University) and when I got home Wednesday morning, I said to Heather, 'We gotta keep the kids away from Bunton Road. Cameron's too fast,"' recalled Riddle. "I just wish I had acted on it. It's a nightmare."

Later Wednesday, Heather Ferguson dropped her children off at Paul's mother's house on Bunton Road while she went to work at the Carpenter Road Target store.

A neighbor stopped by with her two children to pick up Paul's mother, Faith, and Cameron. When the driver asked her two children to go get the mail across the street, they left the door open. Cameron climbed out of the van to follow the other children, and Faith ran after him.

The three children made it safely across the street.

"But Faith came out of nowhere," said Ferguson, 28, of Ypsilanti Township.

Ferguson said his mother is consumed with grief, and begged him not to hate her.

"I said, 'I don't blame you. You can have Cameron over at your house any time,"' he recalled. "And to be optimistic, I said, 'When Faith gets out of the hospital, you can have her over, too.' "

Cameron, oblivious to the adults' pain, spends his time at the hospital running from one relative to another, laughing.

"He has no idea," said his father, picking him up.

Riddle said Faith loves both grandmas, is very shy, but very dramatic, and loves dressing up like a princess.

"I just want to scoop her up," she said, of her visits to her hospital bedside, where Faith's blue "night night," the silky nightgown she's slept with since she was a baby, is tucked under her arm.

Riddle said Faith has enjoyed knowing she has a sister in heaven who watches over her.

"She likes to go to the cemetery with flowers for Sissy," she said.

Paul Ferguson, a custodian who is between jobs, said it doesn't bother him to see the babies at Mott.

"It's seeing the ones close to Faith's age," he said, his eyes filling with tears. "To think she may never walk again ... I try to keep hope, but all the doctors tell me it's bad."

The Fergusons aren't ready yet to think about discontinuing life support.

Paul Ferguson followed the Terri Schiavo case, never imagining he would soon be involved in a similar life-and-death decision.

"It's a decision I don't have to be confronted with yet," he said. "Not yet."

nothing to do.
Ok , well today was a lil better seeing as though i didnt go to the hospital. What ive heard from crystal so far today is that Faith had moved from one room to another. And well i dont know if i talked about the whole nuber and the pressure in her brain but i guess that it was at 19 and they wanted it down to 6 (which is good)... and then yesturday it was down to like 13-14... and that was without the medication that she had been on. She is still comatose, and still critical... for all thatr i know, if you want an actual update... or atleast today's news go to Badkitty172002's site.

She wanted me to post the updatred version of what happened (the new article in the newspaper)

Girl struck by car is in critical condition
Father calls her a hero; She was hit while trying to get toddler brother out of street
Friday, April 01, 2005
BY AMALIE NASH
News Staff Reporter
Family and friends were keeping vigil at the bedside of a 5-year-old Ypsilanti Township girl who was critically injured when she was struck by a car Wednesday afternoon.

Faith Ann Ferguson remains in critical condition at the University of Michigan Medical Center, where she is in a coma, her father Paul Ferguson said this morning.

Ferguson said his daughter was a hero, running into Bunton Road in Ypsilanti Township to get her toddler brother, who was crossing the street. Faith ran into the path of a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, and the 48-year-old Belleville driver was unable to stop before he struck her.

The accident, which occurred near the entrance of the Lakeview mobile home park, was witnessed by several people.

Washtenaw County Sheriff's Cmdr. Dave Egeler said police have learned additional details of the crash that differed from the original version. He said police are continuing to investigate and piece together the statements from witnesses to the crash.

Ferguson, who was not there at the time, said Faith and his 2-year-old son Cameron were inside a van with family friends preparing to leave. He said his mother, who is disabled, was also near the van and had placed Cameron in a car seat.

When the children of the driver of the van crossed the street to get their mail, Cameron was able to get out of his car seat and began following them across the street, Ferguson said. Her father said Faith saw her brother in danger and went after him.

"She saved her brother's life, and now she's in a coma," Ferguson said from the hospital this morning. "She was a little mom to him."

Ferguson said his mother saw Faith in the road and tried to warn her, but it was too late. He said the driver of the car that struck her got out and held Faith until help arrived.

"I understand he's been in shock since it happened, and I wanted to thank him for holding our little girl and keeping her safe," said Ferguson, who gave police a card to deliver to the driver. "We know he tried to stop."

Ferguson said about 40 people have visited each day to pray for Faith, who he described as an "incredible little girl" who would be a kindergartner in Lincoln Consolidated Schools in the fall.

"A lot of people are praying. I don't know what's going to happen," Ferguson said. "She's very playful and active - just a sweetheart."

Bad to worse.
Hey you guys, Crystal and i are pulling through to yet another day.

i guess you could say that i cried alot today... mostly on the inside. No good news. and i guess i'll try to keep it simple. Crystal and i (and like 30-40 other family members)were up once again at the hospital. We were there from 9am or so to about 10pm. Today was pretty rough. Crystal and i both got to see Faith... thats where it really hit me. i just started bawling.. such a tiny little girl, on a big bed... bruised, cut, and silent, cords coming from everywhere. They told us that if she will live she will have the mind of a six month old, never be able to recognize anyone, she would probably walk, and that she will be blind in one eye. And that if the operation they made does not work, she will most likely die within the next 4 days.

Since she has major bruising in her head, and her brain is swelling the operation they made was to help lower the pressure. if you understand what i mean.

Nothing really but that. tomarrow i will be home, and all we can really do is hope for a miracle. for those of you who are interested crystal is going to post pictures of Faith.. and im posting the article from the paper.

Crystal is Badkitty172002 for those of you who may not know.

this is the article

Girl struck by car as she ran across road

A 5-year-old girl was critically injured when she ran into the path of a car as she was crossing an Ypsilanti Township road to meet her grandmother on the other side Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Faith Ann Ferguson remained in critical condition at the University of Michigan Medical Center this morning, officials said.

She was standing on the east side of Bunton Road at 3:39 p.m., and her grandmother was on the west side near the entrance to the Lakeview mobile home park, Washtenaw County Sheriff's Cmdr. Dave Egeler said.

The grandmother tried to warn Faith of a northbound car as she was crossing the street, but she stopped in the path of the vehicle and was struck by the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, Egeler said. The 48-year-old Belleville driver was not injured, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.

**EDIT... the article isnt entirely correct... i know i heard the story from the people who actually seen it, more than a few times.....

oha nd can you believe it... on television they said the kids were playing in the street..... WTF! yes i would love to let my children to play on the 50mile per hour road.... grrr that pissed me off....

Sory for the long post, but if you care then you can read, if not, skip onward to the comments.
Hey guys… well today started off good … and then around the middle became sad.

This morning I was invited to a Bonfire party… like hells yah! But then my other friend Beth decided that tonight she was going to reschedule her birthday party thing... soo i had to change my plans (ooh this was actually yesterday but im going to continue saying today) so since i originally had plans with her I had to change my plans with my other friend… which I didn’t mind,. I think I’d have more fun going out to dinner..

Then the sad part. My friend Crystal (badkitty172002) called me (around 340pm) and told me that her little 5 year old cousin had been hit by a car. I started crying, I’ve only met her twice but the last time was like we played and really bonded and I couldn’t help but cry… Then my mom called me after she got off of work and was like *Amanda turn the news on, one of the guys I work with told me a little girl got hit by a car* … and god, I felt so horribly, I told her… *mom I know, its crystals cousin.. She got hit,* and i started bawling, mom said that the guy said he seen her on the side of the road.. Just laying there .. I couldn’t believe it,. I immediately thought she was dead… how horrible is that… and then I had to wait for what seemed for forever for crystal to call me back. When she finally did I was thinking oh god don’t tell me she’s dead don’t tell me she’s dead… crystal said that she had gotten some scan and there would def. Be brain damage if she came out. So now that I had that sigh of relief that she hadn’t passed. I was like where are you what hospital can I come up there is it ok?… she told me and it was like a half hour drive to the hospital.

Its so sad. Seeing everyone, crying, knowing all you can do is wait, wait wait … try to make the best of it know there’s always the worst. I was there with crystal from 5-10 … we tried to make the best out of a bad situation, but we were better outside away from all of the commotion. I felt so bad for her family, see her grandma was real sick, and then her brother got in his skateboard accident and her cousin‘s baby died. The real sad thing is that that the mom of the 5 year old already lost a baby.

And now this! I swear her family has a curse or something.. I thought it was funny cause her mom was like *you better stop hanging out with crystal something is bound to happen to you*. But yah soo, if you want say a prayer to yourself, and please don’t give us a hundread * I’m sorry things* cause its just like… I just wanted to give my side of the story. Its hard enough just to deal with it you know? Soo thanks for reading,. We’ll try to keep you guys updated on her health.
