   Sunday...

Today at church, when the sevice started, I started to think about my mom and friends, then I started crying. It just started with a few tear-drops, but then I started to sob, then I ran to the bathroom. When I came out, I couldn't stop crying, so my aunty came and talked with me. Besides her greatest efforts, all she did was make me cry harder. She keeps telling me that everything is what I make it, but I don't really believe that. It may be true for her life, but not for mine. I just don't know what to do anymore.

   Depressed...

Sorry that I couldn't get around to visiting anyone's site yesterday. My aunty started to scream at me for being on the internet for over my 1/2 hour, but here I am today.

Yesterday I went to our youthgroup, which was a coffie house thing. There was a local band there, and lots of coffie and apple cider. We all talked and hung out, and had an awesome time. Then when my aunty came to pick me and my cousins up, we hung out at my Granny and Popa's house. Man they're a riot ^^

Today I got an email from my mom, and I'm just so tired of waiting, and they said something about how some of the people in charge of the adoption are wanting a bribe, but they won't give it. It's really unbelievable how corrupted Kenya's government is, it actually makes me feel physically sick.

Today, I got some alone time, so I decided to look through my treasure box. It's got all of the notes I've ever gotten since last year from my friends, and a whole bunch of different nick nacks. So there's pretty stones, foreign money, figurines, etc. It was weird looking through it all, and I was sobbing when I packed it up. Something triggered the thought that I could never go back to my old life again.

   bad day...

Today has been a mixture of stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and downright frustration TT_TT Why didn't anyone comment on my last post? I must have put about 2 hours into writing that, and nobody seemed to care TT_TT I'm not mad, just disappointed, my day has really SUCKED!!! TT_TT

Sorry to sound all whiny, I just had high hopes for that post, because something really intersting and wonderful happened that day.

   Best weekend EVER!!!

This past weekend was AWESOME!!! It started where my brother ended up getting to my granny's house earlier than we expected. We spent that Friday night watching "the Village" The next day we went to church, and right after church, my brother took me to Edmonton. We were going to eat Korean food for lunch and Ethiopian for supper, but all of the Korean and Ethiopian resteraunts were closed for the weekend, so my brother took me to "the old spaghetti factory" in West Edmonton Mall. We hung out at the music and book stores after that, then as we were planning to leave, we got the idea to take goofy pictures of each other. We started with this huge whale thing that was in the middle of the mall. Then as we were walking past a sports shop, we decided to go in and take pictures of each other wearing the Oilers jersy that was in the display. After that we went to this gothic sort of shop and tried on a few top hats and this really cool cape. Then we went to a leather store and took pictures of each other in this totally savage fur coat! XD It was so funny! XD We left the mall at closing time, and as we were driving over this one bridge, my brother suggested that we take a walk over the bridge. We parked further up, and walked down, and just as we were getting on the bridge, a motorcycle that was going WAY too fast skidded around the corner (about 10 feet away from us) the guy hit the fence and got ripped off (head and shoulders hit the fence) He flew a few feet and the motorcycle kept going and hit a car in the fender before flipping and crashing about 100 yards further. My brother jumped over the fence to help the dude, but he was already getting up. The dude was in such serious shock that he got up and started to run to the motorcycle, going on about how his dad was going to kill him, a few other people stopped him, and I've never seen such a pale face before. What was really cool was that a few other Christians started to pray over him, and when the ambulance got there, he ended up having a broken arm and was in really serious shock. My brother and I had to wait about an hour to give a statement to the cops about what happened (as witnesses) and when we were done, we finished our walk. (o.O) It sounds kinda weird I know...

When we finished, we drove to an Ethiopian resteraunt where we had doro wot, tips and enjara (*drools*) Wow that was some realy AWESOME food!!! After we ate we ordered some Ethiopian coffee, and man was that ever STRONG!!! It came in this carved gourd sort of kettle, with these teeny little cups. When we poured it, I don't think I've ever seen such black coffee, and we didn't even sweeten it! Wow was that amazing, it was actually physically thick, my brother had three cups and I had four, (the last was the grounds, as thick as mud) Wow was that GOOD COFFEE!!! XD

   Ugh...

Last night I couldn't get to sleep cuz I was so excited to see my brother today. When he last called me, he said that he'd be here probably in the morning or afternoon. He just called again, and said it'd probably take another 8 HOURS until he got here!!! *blah* I'm so mad, I was looking forward to seeing him like NOW! Oh well, at least he's coming... TT_TT

   YES!!!

The 4 day weekend has OFFICIALLY STARTED!!! XD YES!!! To start it off, my cousins got out the movie "Mean Girls" and we ate pizza and KFC chicken (*drools*) School was OK, but I honestly couldn't wait to get out. I forgot my book at home today, so I didn't get to read during lunch, or when I wasn't busy (I'm a geek, I know...) (the book is "IT" by Stephen King *shivers* ah yes, horror novels, nothing like em' XD)

Tomorrow I'm planning to sleep till noon, then my cousin's gonna drop me off at my grandparent's home, where I'm going to sleepover, then I'm going to my other grandparents' house for the rest of the weekend (where my older brother will also be staying *dances around* I haven't seen him in over a year XD)

   Yay for 4 DAY WEEKENDS!!! XD

YES! This weekend starts Thursday because of this PD Day (Professional Developement Day) So the teachers go to school, but not the students XD (man I love my school XD) Also, Monday is Thanksgiving, so we get Monday off too ^^ Man this is AWESOME!!! XD

Today in Foods class, one of the girls in my group got so drunk this lunch o.O I got partnered with her, and she could hardly stand up, besides measuring stuff, and mand did she stink too o.O Oh well, for sure I'm never going to drink alchohol EVER!!!
