Long time no talk I know....almost a full month now. Not really a lot has happened since the last time. Oh we've finally booked the trip to Vegas for my birthday, yay......come to find out today that a few of my friends and their close friends are going up a few days after I come back.....T_T I'd much rather go with them even though I'm not all that close with that group rather than going with my parents any day!....plus it would be easier to go to some of the cooler shows than to go with my socially repressed parents. OH I almost completely forgot! At the end of last month I was working really hard on making an AMV....for a small little contest we had on the Kyouya Faction in Gaia....well out of two competitors I won 1st place....I think it's because the other submission had unintentional subs. I'm still thinking about tightening up the vid a bit and try my hand at entering it for A-Kon. If you would like to check out my new AMV Click Here. Just remember that YouTube downgrades the quality and sometimes messes with the syncing. Easter weekend was alright just mainly a big lunch but we did a little egg hunt in our den for my niece. It was so CUTE, when she found the final egg she started to hide all the rest of her eggs in that spot. Oh but the day before a few of my friends *that all moved in together* they had a house warming party.....which was really packed since we were planning to do an outdoor barbecue kinda thing but the weather was terrible that day so we ended up with like 50 people packed together in a living room and kitchen but it was also a lot of fun because we were all kinda forced to socialize.....and there was tons of Guitar Hero and Soul Calibur 3 to be played as well ^^ School has been bringing me down lately mainly my ethics class taking up so much of my free time because last Wednesday we were supposed to be doing our presentations...but our instructor went ahead, for the benefit for everyone, pushed back the presentations for this week. So I've been meeting with the girls in my group a few times each week. Last Anime Seen: Smash Hit! Pretty cool, fairly dirty.....it's about a producer of what she's trying to make the new hit show......even though she wants to do a detective series she has to do a sentai series. Somehow an entire week seems to have passed me by. Seriously my Spring Break completly passed me by before I even knew it I had to go back to school again T_T What did I do all Spring Break....well I slept and took care of my little 1&1/2 year old neice. Oh and the one day I didn't completly waste was Friday since I had planned a little shoujo slumber party at my house. A few people showed up, which is good....but everyone ended up leaving by 11:30 which was fine because I was crashing from all the babysitting. Also in that time I've been doing a lot of Gaia....a lot of Gaia. Yesterday I skipped out on my PolySci class....yeah I'm still technically registered in it but I did try to get out of it today but sadly and strangly I didn't have my ID on me /sigh. So yeah yesterday went to Barnes and Noble and read book 10 of Death Note since I just happend to be on the chapter that started book 10 woot.....now just to finally finish it. Ok I feel boring now so..... Last Anime Seen: Death Note.....I really don't care for the new songs although I love the animation for the opening....kinda weird huh? So I suprised when I logged in today. I had 6 PMs waiting in my box. I always have 1 from someone who tried PMing me back when MyO went down for a couple of days. The other 5 however were from TheO staff so I was really scared to see one of them say Notification of Deletion I was like WTF mate? The other four where Notifications of Modification, Modification my ass....they claimed to have moved 4 of my walls to the "appropriate category" yet these were some of my earlier walls and really I know all of my walls are in the correct categories EVEN the Ouran walls I moved since the addition of the the Ouran hub some of them weren't moved....anyway that didn't really bug me all that much but the Notification of Deletion was because one of my walls, ONE OF MY EARLY WALLS like back when I still was having to wait at least a week for the submission to be APPROVED got deleted because of some pixelation. Yeah I probably would have deleted once I made a better HQ version of it but come on TheO had APPROVED it in the first place. Other than that not much new stuff has happened with me.....um......OH found a little gem at Wal-Mart today, they had Mallrats for $4.88 WOOT so I bought that and Mystery Men and showed Mallrats to Shiori and her bf who neither had seen it before. So much for weekly posting, not too bad this time though. Not really much going on with me just going deeper into the ocean. I think I might end up dropping another class soon. Right now I'm only taking 3 technically 4 but I really haven't done much....or even really made it to my PolySci class in weeks. I think I might just try to pick it up again at a later point in time. On a side note though anime club seems to be going well not really a huge crowd these days but it is nice to see the core group I hang with there each week. Did the whole RealmsCon planning meeting yesterday found out we are getting Illich Guardiola!, Chris Patton, Tiffany Grant and George Manley for sure. We are still needing to hear back from a few but I'm really excited I'll be able to meet one of my favorite voices (not just his acting, his voice is great all alone)...yaaaaay for getting Chris to come down, and twice as many hip hip horrays for getting Tiffany and George to make it three for three. Well some semi good news just in my dad replaced the antenna to my car so I finally got my radio back. Tomorrow is by brother's birthday and we are supposed to go out to eat, and since I'm as always broke (especially since I just borrowed money to get Vol. 2 w/Artbox of Nerima Daikon Brothers) I'm making him a cake as his birthday present. ....well not much else to say so.... Last Anime Seen: Nerima Daikon Brothers. I absolutely love this series, it's a mix of Blues Brothers, Excel Saga and Lupin III. The dub is top notch as well. Sry for not posting all year....what can I say it's been interesting in all it's mundane glory. Let's see where to start well I guess I'll start on New Year's. Went to a party at my friends house and found out that I'm getting the rights to put the program for RealmsCon together back....yay. That night there was a lot of Guitar Hero playing and other people drinking, I had a sip of a buttery nipple but left it at only one sip since I was DD and usually don't drink at all. The next day my father wrecks his truck by driving into a mail box, three fences, and a jungle gym...apparently his breaks weren't working. He's perfectly fine it's just the truck was going to cost more than it was worth to repair it so they opted to scrap it instead. So for a while he had a rental car and then after about two weeks my family was down one car. Oh but it gets better, about three weeks ago he blows two gaskets (sp?) on MY car (I shared both my car and my mom's van to go to school and anime club) and that we finally got fixed and got it back monday *convienient to get it AFTER Ikkicon* and then Thursday night he messes up the ignition T_T I'm never letting my dad drive my car again. School.....well it's going, I'm trying to be more serious and focused.....ended up dropping one class already I hope I don't have to drop anymore. I've already missed a lot of days there in each of my classes for different reasons (health, lack of car, missing bus when said car doesn't come home in time, catching bus only to arrive late when car is still out, and then the horrible sleeping in late). So yeah last weekend I went up to Austin all alone for Ikkicon. For the longest time I had thought that it was a 2nd or 3rd year con before I went up there only to find out it was the 1st although they had been advertising it for like 2 years already. Two of my biggest complaints were dealing with the similar issue of one thing SPACE/PLANNING. The hotel it was at was tiny I mean it was 5 floors and still under construction not to mention that where they had most of the con (viewing rooms, game room, dealer's room and most of artist alley) was bottle necked just with those things in those positions but then you add people and it's nearly impossible to move freely...sometimes at all. Oh and there was the part of being promised crash space only to find out that 11pm Friday night after my shift had been over for like 5 hours after I had to spend all night convincing my mother to let me take the greyhound bus for 6 hours to get to Austin that the crash rooms they had promised us volunteers was still NOT available. That night my mom ended up contacting one of my distant cousins and I stayed at her place...which was nice not having to share a room with anyone....and that she fed me, yay for more money for the dealers room. The next night I ran into problems with the whole crash space issue again b/c by the time my shift was over no one was really heading over to the crash space which was at another hotel that I never found out where that was.....also no one would be coming back by 6 AM when my next shift was so I just ended up staying in the video room until about an hour or two before the last autograph session of the con. I got every VA that was there at Ikkicon to sign something for me...although Greg Ayres wasn't at that session but I had luckily gotten him to sign my Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok vol. 5 DVD cover the night before at the Nerima Daikon Brothers panel. Everyone else save Greg Ayres and Chris Patton (who I also got to sign my Loki DVD cover) I got them to sign my Death Note...lol. As far as stuff I bought I didn't really get a lot of stuff but I think I got some really cool stuff. I got two custom badges one with Tamaki and the other with Kyouya (Ouran Koukou Host Club) they had the other hosts as well but I didn't want to spend all that much just on badges. I got a Death Note clock (it's analog but really I...like most people bought it for the beautiful artwork...I got one of the last ones with Light and L XD), a moogle hat, a menchi hat, season 2 of Super GALS!, some marbles with anime characters in them *it was a dollar I didn't see the harm in it* and for working the con I got Loveless vol. 1 for free WOOT. I'm still debating over weather it was really worth it to go, although I think if I had even one friend go with me like they had promised I wouldn't have complained once. Oh yeah there I also saw a few new series/recent licenses nothing really OMG you have to see this, just ones that I had heard about that was semi interested in and didn't really care overly for....also they kind of ran the video room oddly for an anime convention in the sense that if the title was on DVD and was dubbed they showed the dub rather than doing dub only on NEW releases :/ I thought that was really weird but the head of that section was said it was because "This is an American con, we should promote the American industries" Anime club has been going fairly well last night we started semi late or rather we cut into more than half of our preshow (amv) time because my dad still had the car until like 4:30 and usually I'm there by that time in order to get everything uploaded in time....I got there at 5 T_T Oh yeah since I haven't been here all year T_T I still need to say what we are watching this semester. Well we are still doing HunterXHunter, and then we are also watching: Princess Tutu Good Witch of the West Tactics Black Cat Muteki Kanban Musume (or Noodle Fighter Miki) and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (since I took out the weekly sampler) Yeah I decided against doing a weekly sampler this semester since it was annoying to a lot of people to start up these great shows only to end it where we started with episode 1. Also it was somewhat time consuming on my part having to plan and find good GOOD anime that I think we would all be interested in and for the most part they had to be comedy since most of the crowd isn't into dark/angst.....or UBER shoujo either. Well that's pretty much been my year so far, sorry for not posting anything sooner....I've been terrible about doing much of anything on the internet these days but I promise I try my best to do weekly posting again....if not at least put up some fun videos and stuff for you to watch. Alright so let's go ahead and close this in the usual way.... And in the shadows of cyberspace a sound could be heard.....

....and it says Merry day after Christmas! So yeah I've been horrible about updating.....I don't even have that good of an excuse other than being emo and then going away from my lovely wireless internet networked home.....that I hate more days than not. Also there were those three weeks I tried my best to focus on studying and try to pass all my finals. Just checked my grades a couple of days ago I got an 'A' in Photography.....like I thought I would, a 'C' in History 1302...and a 'D' in my PolySci class...then again I only had one of the books I needed and the teacher always ALWAYS went off into tangents. Anywho other than that I haven't really been up to much just online a lot and not at all. Lately I've been on Gaia a lot but I think that is because I like to talk to people and fish....other than that I've been hanging out with Shiori her boyfriend and a few of thier friends a lot lately they've gotten me into pen and paper, dice rolling gaming lately. We just started this new campaign a few days ago and before that we were just doing a lot of White Wolf games and I was just getting the hang of it and now we are doing some other kind of game that I have little to no idea how to play but regardless of that because of events that happend...being taken over by gods...and our DM being really cool we are all now level 25. Also there has been plenty of Guitar Hero playing in the past week or so, I've gotten pretty good myself I'm doing really well on Medium and got 80% on FreeBird today ^_^ Christmas was ok....better than most that I've had in a while I suppose. Christmas Eve we had TONS of family over and a few of my friends showed up, mainly it was a food and chat thing but then my friends and I broke out the Guitar Hero and Cowboy, Joe V. and myself played a game and tried to start another game of cutthroat (billiards) before my mom decided everyone needed to leave so we could open up presents at like 10PM!?! Presents wise I didn't get that much this year....well not to open at least.....let me first start with the presents before Christmas list: Hello Kitty Stationary, Stickers and Pen A shiny new Verison Wireless Razor XD Yu Yu Hakusho Second Wind (semi-on request since my Rescue Yukina disc was messed up T_T) A J!nx shirt A valour shirt Two really cute lolita-ish blouses Opened on Christmas Eve: A confidence self help book (thanks mom, I needed a new door stop) A $15 ITunes gift card (....I don't have an IPod and I don't use ITunes /sigh) Purple Pajamas and a robe (they are nice but damn the static cling) A $15 gift card to Best Buy (from my brother and his family....I'm so getting Clerks 2 with it) The final gift I got was a 250GB internal harddrive which I'm trying to install in Jean....I started trying shortly after I unwrapped it but the way Jean is set up and the way one of the cords works I can't install him how I would need to T_T Well not much else to say.....so here's a Christmas pic that I did This also was put up in my e-cards section a few days before Christmas...so yeah I haven't been totally inactive here .....I think I'm almost out of things to say.....oh yeah LAS Last Anime Seen: ...if we are including yaoi then Haru Wo Daiteita if not then Yu Yu Hakusho That's all for now.....See you on the otherside.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Everyone!!! Comment Responses: First things first yes this is a Conan theme....although it is Kaitou Kid (Phantom Theif Kid) 1412 is his case number and also where they get the nickname Kid from.....if you didn't know. Jaguar: Ghost Hunt is really good if you like ghost stories....and X-files. devilsadvocate: Yes Kid is hot and the new movies are GREAT!!!1112 I'm pretty sure that alcohol is the cure all thing really I'm mean come on even medicine has some percentage of alcohol to it. ----- Yeah I didn't write it in my last post but in the last post it was like 7 or 8 am Saturday morning and two of the guys that were hanging out the night before were still at the house and I was waiting for them to leave before I went to bed. That night I was all for a party but more about that in a moment. Around 3 Rebeca came over so we could work on her final project for school she's doing a video so we were pretty much DVD ripping for a few hours. Then Julie came over and we all went to HEB Plus to buy drinks and snacks for later. For the longest time it was just us until around midnight when Cowboy came....he brought his Wii XD so we ended up having a Wii party and a few more guys showed up. He of course bought the new Zelda game and we all got a shot at it.....O.o It looks amazing and the Wii itself seems like a lot of fun (I didn't really get at it since I wasn't feeling to good and didn't want to contaminate it) although Cowboy, Pinapple and myself ended up playing a few rounds of billards...while Julie was watching Living Sex Toy Delievery (hentai) and a couple of people were on the Wii.....very distracting....especially since Julie started to say every line in the hentai. Sunday not much really happened just a few people came over and we watched some anime. So yesterday was Kyouya's birthday, happy belated birthday Kyouya....obsessed....I think not, for his birthday I made a new piece of fan art that is in my portfolio as well as modified that piece a bit and have a new e-card up. I was planning on spending it with a really hot navy man but that didn't end up happening so I spent most of the night cooking and cleaning getting ready for today....sorry Kyouya. So today is Thanksgiving....yay.....I'm so not excited about this....my house is full of cousins and their kids....and I'm in the middle of making the turkey right now.....hopefully I can go out tonight. I've been wanting to go out for a few days now, and I'm doing really good today. So yeah since it's Thanksgiving I suppose I should do the standard list..... Things I'm thankful for: 1: Great friends (especially those who have opened up their hearts and homes to me in good times and bad) 2: The Internet (more specifically MyOtaku, Gaia, and sites like AnimeSuki) 3: Anime, Manga, AMVs and Video Games 4: My 3 Computers.....when they work 5: My anime club....thanks for giving me a reason to stay out until at least midnight every Friday night 6: Um.....I'm thankful for few months that my cousin was in the valley 7: last but not least I'm thankful for people who have helped me loosen up a bit and the fact that now I've learned to let my guard down a bit to people. I wish I was asleep right now.

Hey Everyone!!! I know I've been terrible about posting...even lurking lately....I'm sorry. This week I tried to focus more on school work and actually got caught up for the most part in my classes now I just have to worry about reading and writng a few things for my Tuesday class. Let's see was there anything interesting at all that happended last week....I got started playing this D&D style super hero campaign with a couple of friends...originally it was only going to be a one-shot game but we ended up taking it on for at least two nights it's kinda cool but I have like no skill in table top/pen and paper gaming it is highly entertaining though......my charater is basically Genji from GetBackers, this is because one of the guys that was trying to convince me to play was wanting to make a character like Ban so I thought if nothing else I can follow him around and play as Genji....it works out alright as long as he doesn't try and use his powers stupidly...which he kinda does a lot. Sunday was working on more RealmsCon stuff...yay....I'm so ready for it to be Christmas so I can actually get a little R&R in. Wednesday I hung out with Rebecas for a while we watched the first two episodes of Ghost Hunt, the 2005 special for Bleach as well as Detective Conan Movie 10: Private Eyes Requiem.....it was GREAT! I don't regret skipping out on extra time to catch up in classes at all....it was so worth it! Thursday night/Friday morning mom and dad took off to go to Fort Worth....yes....home practically alone until Monday I'm happy....I just wish my stupid cousin wasn't here -_- Yesterday.../today was anime club....we actually had a good turn out of people afterwords we went to Chili's that was alright lots of jokes about corn and wild turkey (for all of you who have seen Boku no Sexual Harassment and/or AMV HELL 0) then a few people came over to the house. Played Guitar Hero for the first time....it's pretty cool and really kinda lame at the same time...although I never really liked amplitude and it is basically that game with better controls. We also played DDR and some billiards and watched AMVs as always...hopefully tonight I can go out or have a more interesting night tonight....although I will admit last night.../today was pretty fun, finally had my first drink in a long time although I did more for health than just to drink, I'm trying to fight off/prevent my little head cold from getting worse. Hey Everyone!!! Sorry I haven't posted in like two weeks....I'm not completly sure why that is now....I blame Final Fantasy XII, babysitting, school and Gaia.....in no particular order either.....no seriously though a lot of times that I feel like posting it is fairly late so I get a bit out of the mood thinking that no one will read this. Anyways let's see what has happened in this last two weeks........ok Friday 10/27 there was anime club as usual I went dressed as Ookumae in an angel costume....that was funny to explain to a few people. My mom had made cupcakes and I took a whole bucket full of candy for everyone....not too many people stayed during club because of all the parties going on but the ones who did stay the whole time got to enjoy the weirdness of the first episode of Moon Phase. Oh and I got the good/bad news from Kevin himself that he HAD to resign from the president position due to him having to withdraw from the university. After club I went to a party that a couple of my friends were hosting....and I guess I didn't read the invitation right but was pleasently suprised to find it was Pirate v. Ninja themed. So I just ended up taking off the wings and then I got a new rank/nickname of Goddess XD It was a really fun party and I now love the game Melty Blood especially now that I've found my character, the little loli goth girl in the game....who turns into a cat. It was fun to beat on guys with a little kitty...lol. Saturday there was another Halloween/Birthday party that I went to....it was alright, we kept changing locations but not a totally bad time either. Most of us were in costume/cosplay. At first I was just going to go in my shinigami outfit but I ended up throwing together a Misa outfit....I'm working on fixing the pics a bit to have either Remu or Ryuuk in the background....I need more Death Note I swear. After the main party we ended up going to Club SIXX that was a bit lame since for the most part we just stayed on the outside area in the back....although we did take a lot of "myspace" phots...I want to see those. Most of the party left early...even I left around 2....that is the EARLIEST I've ever left the club. Monday thru Wendesday I was hanging out with Shiori as well as doing the event on Gaia....and a few other things including picking up my copy of Final Fantasy XII, which they ended up having a midnight madness party the night before (Oct. 30th) which was fairly interesting although I think most people thought it was going to be on Tuesday so there weren't too many people. Halloween didn't really do too much just cosplayed a random shinigami for school and then hanging out with Shi I think we watched Meet the Fockers. Thursday I ended up hanging out with Chi played billiards and then were hanging out at a Whataburger until like 12...1 am. Friday (11/3) Kevin (now former president of anime club) was supposed to officially announce his resignation but he didn't even show up so we made the announcement and accepted nominations for the Secretary/Treasurer positions. We ended up only having one person be nominated so he's now the officer for both...it's kinda funny we made the announcement in between our two episodes of Ouran since we knew that is when everyone would be there. That night I ended up hanging out with another friend after the usual club dinner we went to her place and watched more Yu Gi Oh! The Abridged Series (Yu Gi Oh! in about 4 minutes....it really makes it worth watching...it's on YouTube) and the Utena Movie. That was quite a trip, although now I want to see the series even more now...even though I know that they are almost completly different. Saturday hung out with Shi and a few other people we ended up watching AMV HELL 3: The Motion Picture since a few of them had never seen it before and then we watched the movie Get Over It...a bit old but good teen/break-up date movie....lol. OH also my dad had won a bit of money so when we went to the HEB plus...and since they have an anime section in their store he ended up buying me the Samurai X OVA collection XD Sunday not much happened and then it was just school going on this week as well as baby sitting...playing Final Fantasy XII and doing Gaia during the normal hours when the family is using the TV.....I just got the Chuyaku Norisu Scarf and am currently working on getting another Ancient Katana.....so close. All that is left is just LAS.... Last anime seen: ...would you believe I can't remember now......although I have been playing a lot of Final Fantasy XII latly...but I love it. Also look out for a new theme soon! EDIT: also if you haven't heard it already I got mentioned again in this week's podcast...this time for one of my e-cards getting the Ichigo mention for the Halloween contest, the podcasters..../judges liked my mean Tamaki cosplay card...yay! Hey Everyone!!! Quick reply to last post's comments devilsadvocate: yeah the anime is really good in keeping to the manga then again they waited for the manga to be complete before they even started to do an anime version. I hear the first movie is good although it ends right before Light joins L's investigation team Jaguar: That's a difficult choice I like both for different reasons and different things but in the end I think I like L more. Now back to the regular post: Not really much to report here just been getting things together for school prepairing for tests and presentations and such, sadly I can't miss a step now....as it is my mom is saying that a job is more important than schooling -_- Yesterday went by Waldenbooks and put a couple of books on hold and picked up volume 1 of The Day of Revolution. This book is written by the manga-ka that did Princess Princess and Family Complex as well as co-author of color. The story is about a boy that finds out he is really a girl....he then chooses to live his life as a girl. It's great and funny and I love it in all it's wrongness. Other things ummmmmmm.....paid off my pre-order for the new dot hack game....I get to pick that up tommorrow. I can't wait, and I got the special edition with the Haseo figure and supposedly a Terminal Disc, which is supposed to be the bridge between the two series. My dad and I got some snacks at the Asian market....they actually had Taiyaki there XD I love it. It was funny to see my dad's face when he first took a bite of it...lol I feel like cosplaying and taking pics but I have no idea of what cosplay I want to do......also I'm supposed to be going to two parties this weekend on Friday night and one Saturday the one Saturday is a birthday party and the birthday girl said if we don't cosplay we don't get any cake or other goodies/food XD I'm so taking pics of everyone! Especially when they play DDR. All that is left is just LAS....
