So let's see what has happened in the last two weeks....or so Well first off someone is trying to get back into hanging semi-normally with the group again and while at first there was some tension there things are back to normal.....and by normal I mean before things went pear-shaped but it was insane when we ended up doing a naked pool party.....all I can say about that is WOW my IQ dropped like crazy when we were "close" Started classes up again and mostly I'm happy with my choices and my professors....I'm SUPER excited about Advanced Photography this time around since last time the teacher was all about making a portfolio whereas this teacher is all about teaching us the alternative processes X3 Doing Graphic Design again last time I dropped the class because the teacher had ten-year and her approach was all wrong....not necessarily to the topics themselves but to class conduct like being late I understand but you cannot leave the room for any reason when not on the class 10 minute break without taking points away from your grade...but she's gotten better about a lot of things since having her kid. I'm also taking Sculpture I this semester and I'm a bit excited to try this class out just because we are going to be doing resin and I am hoping to make a certain bishie's "normal" face since they left that face option out of the nendroid TT_TT. Then the one academic class I'm taking is Spanish II and that is to fulfill my foriegn language courses. So for Labor Day weekend it was planned to have a fun filled Toadies weekend. Saturday got ready and got everyone their tickets since we were going in two groups to the concert here in Corpus and literally when doors were scheduled to open we were informed that the Toadies' bus had broken down somewhere between Houston and Corpus and that the concert would be rescheduled for October. I mean yes I was sad but this kinda stuff happens....saw later on postings that Vaden *singer guy lol* put up on MySpace and the street team that thankfully there weren't on the road at the time when things got messed up on the bus but that they were stuck in Houston for a good 9 or 10 hours over what they had planned trying to get parts to fix the bus which they thankfully got done before Dia de los Toadies up at Possum Kingdom. So Sunday Saffron, Joe and myself drove up to Possum Kingdom and only got lost like 3 times thanks to google maps DX but we made it there for the tail end of Dove Hunter and in perfect time to grab some merch *if only they would have thought out the whole credit card thing without signal up there /fail* and land a great position for the concert. Lions were up next and they rocked the park...so awesome the piece of barricade that I was at ended up breaking before their set was over LOL. Toadies were up next and security was boosted OH and there was a firm banning of crowd surfing like at one point it got so bad that they just started pulling anyone who was and took them to jail then and there. The concert itself was freaking awesome but there were some things that could have been better planned out. Anyways that's what I've been up to and yeah....I might be putting up a few more pics from the concert up on my DA I have quite a few up on MySpace atm but there are so many that I just want to play with some more...we'll see I guess Ok this has turned into another massive posting so I'll just leave in the now normal way. NOTE: This is also posted in my world....if you've read it there you've read this already.... It's been mentioned to me by several people recently that I'm obsessed with the Toadies...I've enjoyed their music for a long time but it's only recently....in the past year or so that I've been able to afford to attend their concerts, before I was usually broke when they came to town or selling blood for anime...not literally of course. Then after most of my CD collection was stolen and I finally went over what should have been there I ended up spending another chunk of change there. Just now I'm listening to their latest album No Deliverance on ITunes and this is the third variation of this album I've purchased....damn you ITunes album only exclusive tracks. I'm not regretting this decision but it has led me to wonder. How much would you spend on a band? ...let's open up the field a bit more than just with bands, how about an actor/actress, a director, writer, artist, studio/company *i.e. Gonzo, Studio DEEN, Rockstar, Harmonix, Square* Once I started crunching the numbers I was surprised to find in the past twelve months alone I've spent over $800 on the Toadies. Although that's mostly concert tickets and fuel for traveling to two shows. I won't go in to detail on what all I've bought of theirs but yeah...I'd still spend more on them, they are literally in my top 10 bands which of them all Toadies is the band I have spent the most. You met me at a very strange time in my life

So yesterday....technically today still....is my 5th anniversary with MyOtaku.....I'm sad that MyO has taken a backseat to worlds....for the most part and that I've lost in touch with a majority of the awesome crazy people that used to (in)freqently post. I'm sorry guys I know I've been horrible about that too over these past years....not to mention the first year I completly ignored my page ^^; So let's see let's go from this time four years ago....I was just really starting college and my brother had just gotten married. I was wanting to become more self-reliant and have my independence already and not have to bother with living with my family anymore. As of Monday I've FINALLY switched my major from Theatre to a basic Arts plan. Although I really wanted to be able to do Photography there are no where near enough classes to make it a full degree/program here at A&M. So I have an almost whole new course load in front of me....and I found out even though I was done with my basics I have two University required courses another semester of Spanish *since that is what I had picked for a foriegn language* and the second semester of Freshman seminar ^^; whooops....the semester I had that in my class schedule I had to withdraw due to sickness and I was never told I had to take it again....haha. My brother is now seperated from his wife and their baby is with us most every weekday during the day while we babysit her. Hopefully at the end of September/beginning of October she'll be going to monistary *basically a pay to school Head Start program* While I'll miss her like crazy it'll be for the best since mom and I both have been held back in the work situation because of it. Mom hasn't been able to put herself up for as much overtime since she doesn't get a good night/day's rest since she takes care of KC during the day and I help her as much as I possibly can which means that I can't really be working during the day....when I do/did work mom would be crying by noon and KC would not nap even for half an hour. Yes I still live with my parents but that could be since I haven't been able to hold a job long enough to leave and since the one time I was offered space to move away I was sick when they went to look for housing which meant I wouldn't be included in the move since I wouldn't have been there to sign a lease *which mom wasn't too happy with that idea....me signing a lease* As for the recent.....as in the last two weeks not much is new other than what I've already mentioned and normal routine of babysitting and hanging out with friends late at night early into the morning. That's basically been it. Oh well mom, dad and my brother did go up to Louisiana to gamble last week leaving me all alone literally since even most of my friends were at least two hours away at San Japan *in San Antonio* I forget how paranoid I get when there is no one I can stay with during the night.....for some reason I sleep the best when people are with me *wheter they are up and in a different part of the house or sleeping next to me in bed* and during storms. I literally begged one of my guy friends the second night to stay with me...and since I was waaaaaaaaay too drunk to drive I couldn't take my other friend to his house where I could have stayed *he wouldn't stay since he doesn't like to sleep anywhere he hasn't slept before* thankfully about an hour after they left Shiori and her bf came over for a few hours. During that time while mom was gambeling she had a good two hour lucky streak going and when she won on the machine I told her to play for me she called me to tell how much she won and that she would give me that money....which at this current point in time I've basically spent on a tablet *digitizer*, some anime/manga/video game stuff, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club band on DVD and the new Toadies album on vynil and saved the last part of it for the trip up to Possum Kingdom Lake for Dia de los Toadies 8/31. So this has become a very long post....sorry to take up so much time...let's wrap this up... OK just a little clearing up from last post first....while I won tickets to the South Texas Rockfest we opted to stay in town and hit The Golden Meanies concert instead and that turned out really fun...as told in the previous post. Soooooo life since then has been interesting in the very least. So as of Tuesday I've seen The Dark Knight twice. The first time I went with a small group of friends.....and I was very sleep deprived which made things fun while waiting and the side comments in my mind all the more fun during the movie....but it sucked that when we got out of the theater I found out someone had broken into my car. Thankfully they didn't mess it up like last time with my purple monster but there still was damage done so it went into the shop shortly after Dolly hit Texas...it's so funny how so many people were worried about that little hurricane....I mean yeah it did some damage but for our location *where a lot of people figured it would hit* it was a normal day with the rain of our "wet" season.....I mean 50mph winds that's going out to the beach on a slightly bad day....but it was kinda fun to be playing pool in the dark since the power kept going out on certian grids in town....although some of that was done by people not the weather.....anyways back to my car.....it was in the shop for like half a day to replace my door handle/keyhole...the sad part about it even being broken into is that it seems it was all done just to walk away with my CD case as a reward....I'm not upset about the CD case itself being gone even though I did have some things I really liked the most important CDs I still have at least digitally but I mean seriously took time out of my week and put me without a vehicle I could secure for a week and took money to fix what they did and if there were more than one keyholes to my car I would have been able to continue most things as normal >.> anyways..... I saw the Gavin DeGraw concert when he hit town....simply because me and like half the audience had recieved free tickets....maybe not that many but it seemed like it when I went to pick up my tickets. That was entertainintg just in the things said and joked about mostly between Saffron and myself. It was great it shocked the crowd that Gavin cursed a grand total of five times during his time on stage....after the first tiem the mother infront of us got upset and almost stormed out of the show with her daughter which seems like a real wast considering the tickets for the show came out to be around $35 after the fees were added. It really was great though at one point Gavin was all like "Man I'm thirsty, after the show we should get some Yahoo or Sunny D" lol plus it was great when we totally called him on using "Proud Mary" during one of his songs....I don't know if it's on the CD that way but I started going all Tina Turner with the moves and we just busted out laughing when we realized he was standing in front of us looking displeased that at least two people in the crowd recognized it...it was great, at one point he asked if Corpus had it's own theme song...I almost shouted out "I Come From the Water" seriously half the time I do think it is Corpus' theme song...oh yeah Concrete changed it's staduim a bit the pit is soooooooooooo very very close to the stage like at one point Gavin DeGraw got off stage and stood in between the stage and the pit and almost didn't have room to move around. The sound guy was off that night but hopefully everything will be kickass for the Toadies concert.....I can't wait.....and if the pit is that close again I may just get pushed into Clark *guitarist* if I'm front row again...like I plan to be. Probably not that bad but it'd be funny....not really though. What else has been going on not much other than the now normal routine of babysitting and hanging out with friends late at night early into the morning. Been a while yes..... So first off my 4th of July was pretty awesome I got really drunk at my friend's "roommate's private party" we had fun played drinking games, drunken Guitar Hero and Vitua Fighter 4. recent news/fun: SO apparently I have crazy ticket luck...Thursday I was trying my hardest to win tickets to the Toadies concert from C101 since they were doing tickets to rock win them before you can buy them....anyway around 3 or 4 I finally get through and I'm caller 8 TT__TT I kept getting a busy signal all day even on the off time when I wanted to just request a song. About a minute or two after that I get a call from clear channel (parent company of C101) and they tell me I won two tickets for South Texas Rockfest and a ride on the Miller Lite bus. I'm like cool this will give me and Saffron something to do this weekend.....come to find out she's working hard this weekend and so I try to see if anyone else wants to go. Honestly though Saturday's bill didn't look that promising anyway...and since I had no one that will go with me I stayed in town and listen to a band that rocks.....Bunny, Saffron, Alma, Andrew and myself went to the Lizard Lounge tonight for The Golden Meanies concert. best night at a bar.....yet...at least....It was so awesome I mean the band rocks we already knew that and were jamming out the entire time but what made tonight so great was the eyecandy show. So as we are parking we see a bus pull up and out come schoolgirls. At first we're just all like random and as we get closer realize over half of these schoolgirls are guys XD *times I wish I would have had my camera....honestly* It was so fun to just even watch them playing around in their variety of schoolgirl styles. We also got quite drunk thanks to them....and Bunny continually buying drinks once the keg was finished. It's been a while since I've updated here on MyO....let's see where am I now. I'm finally out of the fragile box.....hopefully for a good long time. If I have to stay in the hospital for any period of time again it'll be too soon and for waaaaayyyy too long TT__TT I had a great time up at A-Kon and can't wait to see everyone again hopefully I'll be able to get out to a few more cons and we can hang before another year goes by. I picked up a few cool things at A-Kon including some spiffy goggles but the coolest things are technically not from the con but I bought right after I got back I ordered Jump Ultimate Stars and the first Death Note game for the DS. So it's been a little over a week and I still can't get over how awesome the Toadies concert was on the 20th in San Antonio. A little about the concert: So we got there just in time to see the first band The Golden Meanies in the beginning of their set, they are a band from Corpus *which makes sense why I was sure I knew a few of their roadies lol* I really liked the song An Angry Grassdance which is the last song on their myspace page. Lions came out and rocked the house getting everyone pumped for the Toadies X3. I'll say this their set went soooooo much smoother this time around than when I saw them six months ago in Corpus at the last Toadies concert....then again the Corpus crowd wasn't really feeling them that night either : / which is a shame since they have that old rock sound I'm so fond of. The Toadies completely rocked! I was soooo happy that I ended up in the front row in front of Clark again X3 yeah that was fun getting up there two since I started like five or six people in when the Lions were on....once the Toadies came on I ended up three people in just from the jumping around and when they started to play Mister Love I ended up getting tossed around until I pulled myself to the front row.....I was also kicked in the head twice and nearly fell like five times but it was so worth it. I wanted to meet the band afterwards when they were doing signings where they sell merchandise but Bunny and Joe were ready to go not that the huge line wasn't a bit overwhelming >< I'm really loving the new Toadies songs that they previewed and I mean seriously the whole set was just killer.....not to mention how funny it was to hear them continually insert Van Halen's "Running with the Devil" only to have them stop at not even five seconds and claim it only took two weeks to come up with that XD The next two days after the concert was waking up early and helping Saffron and Bear move to their new apartment. Did an after move party at my place where we ended up having a Cowboy photoshoot since Saffron's been trying to get a good pic of him for her wall of friends and after the first pic he was all cam whore. This weekend....kinda? Thursday and Friday we celebrated Saffron's birthday by going up to San Antonio, San Marcos, Austin and Gruene to do a bit of shopping and to take pictures. After we got back on Friday we had a little surprise party for her at Dante's house in which we both got completely fall on the floor drunk. Tortuga rum is the shit.....it's 80 proof rum but if it is made the way it claims to be then it varies from bottle to bottle anywhere from 80 to 120 proof. A month later I'm a year older and there has been a lot going on and nothing really to show. Let's do it in sections like last time. Health: So all but one doctor has cleared me with a clean bill of health on Wednesday I go into to hopefully my final doctor's visit until something else comes up. Apparently the horrible stomach pain I had was caused by something irritating my stomach something fierce when I got the flu about three months back. JOB: Well up until a week ago I was working at Beall's but I could tel I was going to get majorly screwed out of hours not to mention that we were doing long hours, hard work and let's not forget having to deal with the supernatural for waaaaay too little pay. It was great the first day of work and I had a spirit follow me to one of my friend's house >< I'm currently babysitting until I find a new job which hopefully I'll be able to find something soon. School: I'm down to only doing Astronomy and because I missed two labs when I was out sick with the flu I missed two important parts for a paper that I was supposed to turn in two weeks ago and so right now I'm literally two almost three points away from passing the class TT__TT I need to do better in the final and possibly talk to my professor about redoing the labs I missed so I can turn in the paper that is only lacking info from those labs. Love: last month I wrote about the guy I like becoming single and not knowing what to do....well I took a leap and pretty much after I showed him a good end to a great day it's become harder to get him to come hang out with everyone. It seems that he's chasing after one of the girls he knows through work and for the longest time I thought she wasn't showing him the time of day but I heard something....read something that makes me think otherwise but I may still be looking too much into things. To make matters worse he's starting to go back to being the way he was before he cleaned up his act....it is really unsettling but I think that has some to do with birthday stuffs and some of the people he's hanging around lately. Shiori thinks I need to just look for a nice guy and settle down for a while but I mean I don't know anymore. I know I'm not over him and I won't be for a good long while but at the same time I'm thinking it would be best for me to forget that anything happened between us for my own sanity. Friends: I have me friends that are made of awesome and win and most of them gave me kisses on my birthday X3 Internet: they sexed up my internet~! lol epic quote from teh Bunny. I haven't really been doing much online OH also in like the last 2 maybe 3 weeks I've gained a stalker who ended up getting my myspace account deleted on Dave's birthday >< I think it was the stalker since I had posted something about an unknown person harassing me on the phone and then not even 12 hours later my account was deleted TT__TT I'm starting up a new page but it'll never be the page that was....even if it was all a joke. Hobbies: It's sad to say but in the last two weeks I had taken up drinking as a hobby....especially drinking plum sake. I've realized that it's not solving anything and that I really don't like the person I become when I drink alone....since I can't gauge how much I've really had if I'm alone....a little odd but when I'm at a party I can maintain a nice level between being buzzed and stop before I hit my limit.....and even stranger is that I won't get sick until two days after drinking. Other things I've been doing for fun include watching movies and collecting anime that will stay on my harddrive for a while longer TT__TT Birthdays: We had a lot of fun celebrating Cowboy, Dante and my birthday we did a waterballoon fight on Saturday and broke a pinata as well as drank, drank and drank on Sunday. There were other mini events but that wa sthe major one. I got a lot of random stuff from Saffron including a VHS copy of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, a bottle of plum sake *which I still haven't opened*, a cup for my sake, pocky and a grow your own pirate, cash from my dad, Elfen Lied thinpak, Volume 3-5 of Beck, Volume 3 of Welcome to the NHK, and Busou Renkin box set 1 from my mom, a DS game I already have from my bro, a kickass chibi Heimdall and a DNAngel wallscroll from Chrislea and very cute bracelet from Yilma X3 Enough talking I feel like I've taken up so much time with my month long catch up/ramblings onwards to LAS Last Anime Seen: School Days Magical Kokoro-chan OVA....all I have to say is OMG BAD END + Nice Boat....and nakedness.....yeah we finished off Finals Friday with this little gem =D See ya on the otherside

So yay it's been nearly a month since my last posting (sorry guys) not much has really changed yet there are some major updates. Health: Still doing bad but at least the doctors are still running tests on a side note still relating everything is alright with my womanly parts so YAY no worries there and I finally went to the eye doctor last week and it's awesome my prescription didn't change (ROCK ON) Currently things are quite rough on me in this aspect but hopefully things will be getting better soon. JOB: Still in the process of looking did a couple of interviews and hopefully within the next week or two I'll be hired on either at Beall's doing set up for their new store or I'll be working at the Museum of Natural Science and History. Really I would love to work at the museum but it is part time BUT the job is as a tour guide of the Columbus Ship replicas we have in town and the best part is your uniform is a time piece outfit XD I'm so wanting to be paid to dress like a pirate (EPIC WIN) School: I'm getting ready to drop my Media Writing and Performance class since I haven't been able to attend due to pain and most of my procedures/tests being scheduled for the day this class happens....which really kinda sucks since initially I was really looking forward to this class but strangely enough this day is usually when they end up booking me and giving me all kinds of happy drugs that knock me out on my ass. Love: Now here's where there MAY be some development. I don't know if you'd even remember but about a year ago I was seriously depressed because the guy who finally had broken down all my barriers was getting back with his baby's momma/ex-girlfriend well once again they are broken up and it he claims it's for good this time since she broke up with him over her mom's stupidity. I think she'll eventually realize just how great of a guy she gave up but then again I really do care a lot for him and want to help him in trying to get some kind of visitation rights with his little girl. I mean I know how heart wrenching it can be, we're currently going through a similar situation with my brother. BUT this all is in the love section for another reason.....yet I need to give a short background of things leading up to this. For those of you who don't know me or the people I hang out with IRL we'll call him M. This past Sunday a bunch of us went out to a bonfire on the beach because it's something fun that we all like to do and one of our friends from Dallas was in town for the week plus we found this AWESOME log/tree that washed up on the beach during a tornado....ANYWAYS. Towards the end of the night M and I were talking about well us....let me replay this scene in which I'll be using R for my lines..... M: "I should have fucked you when I had the chance" R: "I wouldn't have let you then.....you were a drunk whore" M: "I was not a drunk whore" R: "You were" M: "What about now?" R: "Your attached [I don't want to mess things up with you and you baby and your baby's momma]" M: "What IF I were single?" R: ".....yeah" I know not a life changing conversation but now he's single and earlier he claims that he was totally gonna sex me up when were alone together at my house but we didn't know when my parents were coming home. We ended up watching Tomcats then an ep of Spongebob Squarepants with another one of our friends joining us towards the end of Tomcats. I'm really excited that I might have a chance to be with him but at the same time I never really thought I could ever get him. Right now I'm not so sure of what I should do either I'm so confused on if I should try and help him get things worked out first with the baby, if I should just take a leap and try to have him for my own, if I should just try and do both at the same time >< moving on..... Friends: One of my best friends may or may not be moving away to Austin in two months we also talked about this again for a good while tonight and her special someone may be coming down to live with her in the next few days which COULD mean that they would just move into a bigger place here. She was telling me that she doesn't feel like she can leave just quite yet because of the way things are going with me ATM but I mean there is a lot that really no one can help with since it's all mostly things going wrong with me and my body not cooperating. Internet: oh how I've neglected you really. Hobbies: I've been playing the Death Note game and just beat it on Hard this morning I've also been getting more and more into traditional art recently and even some watercoloring I'm working on a pic inspired by M....somewhat and I hope to have that done in the next day or two I have it mostly done already but I want this to be a very special watercolor. Once again I've taken up an extreme amount of space but hey that kinda happens when you take a month to update your blog and something like the person you really really like and have liked for over a year...almost two years is back on the market and looking to you at you. Anyways enough of that time for some random anime.... So new themage yay~! The theme this time around is Tactics. Haruka in my bg alternating Kan and Haruka pics in the welcome and a Kan-Haruka icon. There is even some new music in the player. First big problem I have with VV....you can only upload one fanwork within a 24-hr period. I mean sure it would be one thing if it was you must wait at period between 1-3 days before uploading like before but when your e-card is instantly accepted but then you can't upload you next one or perhaps even a fanart of a different medium....grrr. So in related news, new e-card Went into the hospital for observation today and it's still not certain what is wrong with me exactly but the doctor is trying to do all he can before dismissing it as another everyday thing....which there is no way three+ weeks of pain can be normal. Did something kinda bad in ordering some stuff online when I really should be saving up for A-Kon but there were some really good deals This Death Note Game was only $18 total until yesterday sooooo glad I ordered it when it was still on sale. I also ordered a Light and L Nendoroid figures from EBay and while I usually wouldn't go back to EBay for things like this it is a steal of a deal for $30 for both of these whom won't be re-released until April....not to mention how hard it is to find sales on L anymore.
