Close one

Whew, I almost didn't get to post today. For some strange reason I just couldn't access theOtaku network. I talked to Sara over AIM and she was having the same problem so I think I'll be checking the home page in a minute to see if that'll be any explanation of why it was "down".

But, you see, even though its 8:27 PM right now, I'll be forced to get off soon and wouldn't be able to get on for the rest of the night, so you can see my dilemna of almost not being able to post.

CEWT was fun today. ^_^ We got to start making our student led conference folders and we made the divider pages today. We had to decorate them and stuff on the computer and we could pick any pictures we wanted to put on them, as long as they had to do with that subject.

And, no, I didn't fill each page with just random Naruto pictures =P Nope, the cover page had chibi Kakashi on it, the English page had a picture of Kakashi reading a book, the Rotation and Electives page had a picture of Naruto, Sasuka, Sakura and Kakashi on it, and the Jumpstart page had a picture of Kakashi on it as well. The other sections that were in there was Science, Math, CEWT, and Social Studies. I tried coming up with some Anime pictures I could put on those, but nothing came to mind so I just put some clip art on them and was done.

I finally finished watching the eight Friday the 13th movies that were in my box set. I think the last one had a little too much stuff that was almost too impossible to believe(such as, Jason being twenty feet behind you, then suddenly being a foot ahead of you), but it was still pretty good. After I watched that I decided that I should probably do my laundry...the pile was getting quite high and I was also out of pants to wear. >.>

I also drew Roronoa Zoro today ^_^ I was feeling inspired and I'd just had my eye on this one picture in the first One Piece manga of him when he's a prisoner of the Navy. I just wanted to draw it so bad and I finally did. It turned out really well; a lot better than I had expected it to be. I can't wait to scan it this weekend and see what you all think of it. ^_^

Math Club's tomorrow. I can't wait for that. Math Club's just such a riot. Oh, oops. I forgot that I was supposed to atleast try to work on that Warm-Up exercise we got last week. Well, I guess its ok. It wasn't required for us to do it, Mrs. Zimmer just said that we could start on it if we wanted. Hell, Xio probably didn't do any of it either.

I had to change the billing information for my domain name because the credit card the payments were being billed to, my mom hasn't payed the bill for yet, so she had me switch it to her other one, which only has about $25 on it, which is enough for about two months; plenty of time for her to pay the bill on the other one or that one. Either one'll do.

Hmm...well, I think I'm going to buy some manga on Thursday when I'm in town after soccer practice. I've got ten dollars that I was saving for Metal Gear Solid 3, but my mom still owes me $40 so I figure I can get another ten by the time it comes out.

Well, I'm done here.

Naruto withdrawals...

*twitches* Lonnie just had to pick me up when I was right in the middle of chapter 64. Right smack dab in the middle of it! Now I don't know what's going to happen next and I'm so...irritated about it! Xio says I need to calm down and think about something else...but, I can't it! I told her at lunch that I'm having a case of obsessive compulsive disorder, heh. But being so obsessed with Naruto is a good thing! Yesterday, I received two new guestbook entries both of which were from others of whom like Naruto(and one who liked both Naruto and Metal Gear Solid(!!)). Both of which I swear I'll try to sign their guestbook entires ASAP!

Whew, yesterday was quite eventful(in my eyes atleast). We still had to play soccer, but thankfully the field was dry. It was just really, really cold so I borrowed Lonnie's sweatshirt and his ERT(Emergency Response Team) pants to wear during the game since I was wearing my soccer t-shirt and shorts. Brr...

Anyway, we lost horribly. We almost caught up but the other team was just way too good. It was the team that could sub the entire field and they're also the team with all of the best players in the Optimist league I'd say. But, the score by the end of the first half was 6-2, in the other teams favor.

I wasn't playing goalie first half, so don't blame it on me! =P I played defense for a few minutes before the fill-in coach(our regular coaches had CMU stuff to do that day, so one of the parents was called to fill in for them) had me switch to mid-field for the rest of the half. I played pretty well and we almost got the ball down to the goal a few times while I was on the field, but, no luck while I was out. I don't think we actually scored until somewhere near the end of the first half.

Then during the second half I went out and played goalie. I played one of my best games ever out there in the goal. I blocked all of the shots except two. One of my memorable saves was when the ball was kicked towards the side of the goal. I rushed over to it, slid across the ground, grabbed the ball and did a little roll so I would land back up on my knees. That was sometime near the end of the game, though...

I also braved getting kicked in the stomach a few times by rushing up to a player and grabbing the ball just before they kicked it. Its sort of an intimidation thing. You rush up there and dive for the ball and they're going to hesitate to kick it because of the fear that they'll hurt you in the process. I did that twice, the second time I did it the ball got away from me because the person actually got to kick it before I could snatch it, but luckily the defenders got it and booted it down the field to the forwards. The kids who played defense yesterday did a great job! *gives a thumbs up*

Ah, it was a good thing my mom wasn't at the game yesterday. She would have freaked during the first half but more during the second half. During the first half she probably would have had a heart attack if she had saw when I got tripped and fell onto the ground, only barely recovering by doing a nice little roll to stop myself from hitting head on with the ground. Whew...

She always freaks out when I'm playing goalie, though, because of all of the things I'll do like run up and grab the ball just as someone's kicking it or fighting over the ball on the ground with someone(that's only happened once, I swear!). Ah, well, she was a bit upset that she couldn't make it though. She was just too tired and I understand that. She's been working a lot lately to try and keep things orderly at work.

Gah, I can't wait until Wednesday. Mrs. Stratton finally got our Hero essays graded and she's going to be handing them back. She made us suffer by not handing them out today. >.> Today, instead of doing another writing assignment, we started reading The Outsiders. Its pretty good so far. We only read the first chapter, though. It sucks that along with reading the book we have to do other things, too, like study plot and character development...

Going back to yesterday...I started reading a book called A Stranger With My Face by Lois Duncan who I had heard, from Xio, was a good author. And indeed she is! I absolutely loved the book! I was almost completely done with it last night! I think I had about 20 pages left in it before I finally turned off my lamp and went to bed. Then I finished it today during Jumpstart, but didn't have enough time to take a test on it...After I do take a test on it and return it to the library I plan on checking out her other books, too. Xio said that Ransom was good(although she was pissed about the ending) and I've been wanting to read Don't Look Behind You since Xio started reading it and told me how good it was.

I watched Friday the 13th Part II to V last night and I've paused part VI momentarily today so I could get on the internet for a little while. I plan on watching the last three movies(or atleast try to) tonight. We'll see, though. I don't like missing Monday night TV on CBS...or Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or Thursday. Or Friday. Er, well, I think I'll just stick to watching the movies when the soap opera's are still playing after I've gotten home (Arrival time at home after getting off the bus: 3:15 PM, Time the soaps stop playing: 5:00 PM, so its the perfect amount of time to watch a movie).

Xio's going to give me ten dollars so I'll go to Sam Goody and buy her Saiyuki #3. I told her it'd be best to give it to me on Thursday because I'll be in town that day for soccer practice or Wednesday depending on if my mom needs to go to town after she picks me up from Xio's house after Math Club. She told me straight out to: now don't you buy Naruto with this!(or if she didn't she sure was thinking it o_O) Of course, buying Naruto at this point would be wasteful. I'm so far into the series I don't even think they've released volumes for the chapters I've read. I think they've only released up to #4 over here and I'm way past #4...

Ah, well, I think I'll go return those guestbook entries and visit everyone's site(or atleast try).

Its a Naruto fest!

I'm reading so much Naruto lately that its hard for me to stop reading it and do other things, but I've managed to stop and type up a post for .hack//TRUTH and make two Saiyuki wallpapers. So, check the wallpapers out if you haven't seen them already!

On Friday, I'd say I read from about chapter 26-37 and then on Saturday I read 38-63. Yep, I just can't stop reading it. I'm so far now that I have to download every chapter. I can't read anymore on Shonen Jump and I'm kind of glad about that because it took forever to load on Shonen Jump. It took me about as long to read the stuff on Shonen Jump as it does to download one chapter, so its not too much of a loss.

The soccer game today is on a maybe right now. It rained yesterday so the fields are probably flooded, but my mom called earlier and told me that she couldn't get ahold of my coaches to see whether or not we'd be having a game today. I really hope we're not. I hate playing when the grass is wet and the fields are muddy because it makes it harder to keep ahold of the ball when its kicked towards the goal. It also makes me more prone to slip and fall...

I'd like to be able to make another wallpaper today but I don't think I'll end up being able to. But I made a few this weekend so I'm happy with that. I'll just make plans on doing a few next weekend. I think I'll do some more Saiyuki wallpapers involving Goku and Hakkai, then move onto another Anime.

I need to post on Cliche...no one else has been, so I need to, but I just didn't get to it this weekend and probably wont get to it again until next weekend. Ah, well, that's ok. I'll just use this week to think of a post for it.

I also haven't came up with anything to draw for the yearbook, so, if I don't think of anything later tonight then I guess I just wont submit anything. I really did want to try, though, but I can't think of a single, so...nothing I can do about it.

I've got some more fan art in mind. I'm planning on drawing Gaara of the Sand and Zabuza of the Mist from Naruto. They're my second and third favorite characters after Kakashi, so I figure I should draw them. ^_^ I also plan on drawing Sasuka and Sakura soon enough, but I wont get any of those drawings done until next weekend so, you'll have to wait until then to see them.

Gah, this damned computer. It just finished downloading chapter 64 of Naruto, and the fucking window with the files didn't pop up. Now I have to download it all over again! I would have to download it again if I knew how to access the folder it gets put into after its downloaded, but the folder is always a random assortment of letters and numbers so I can never find it on the computer. Damnit! Damnit! Damnit! 63 ended with a cliffhanger so I'm really pissed that this happened. It happens a lot, too and its all this damned computers fault! *kills*

*sniffles*

Damn you NetZero and your horrible-ness! Damn you! Damn you, damn you, damn you!

NetZero wouldn't fricken connect me late last night. It would say I was logged on, pop up the NetZero toolbar, then the toolbar would immediately disappear and the icon that says I'm online would disappear as well. I swear, it happened atleast twenty times in a row until I finally got ticked off and didn't even restart the computer to see if that would help, but hit the switch on the power strip. That's what I usually do to my computer when I'm ticked off at it. Then I proceeded to beat it up a bit...before it finished restarting and I attempted to reconnect again. That of course, it did not do.

So I just slammed the keyboard holder thing-a-majig back into the desk and stomped off to bed.

Yes, I must admit I was having anger management problems last night...

Its amazing!
This is absolutely amazing! Yesterday, at school, during Discovery Language Arts, there was a High School student sitting at Ms. Mott's desk reading, guess what? Fruits Basket! Xio, Alexa and I were so amazed that there was someone else in Vestaburg that actually read manga that we introduced ourselves to her and told her what manga's we were obsessed with.

I think she seemed surprised too that there were others who read manga at Vestaburg as well. But still, its pretty cool that we met somebody else who reads manga. At first we actually didn't know what she was reading, but from the way she was reading and when we spotted the little TokyoPop emblem on the spine, we knew she was reading manga!

*cries* Stupid NetZero...it disconnected right in the middle of when I was downloading chapter 36 of Naruto last night...now I have to re-download it! Normally I wouldn't be too upset because I could just start reading the chapter before it on Shonen Jump, but it was one of those rare occasions when Shonen Jump puts three chapters of Naruto in their magazine, posts one online and forces you to buy the magazine to read the other two chapters. So, I have to download two chapters, which completely messes up my download next chapter while reading chapter before that one. T_T

I need more backgrounds for wallpapers... I've got this really cool picture of Sanzo but I just can't get a decent background for the wallpaper with the small selection and limited ways I have of making backgrounds with PhotoImpression4. I think I'll go to ArcSoft's website and see if I can download some backgrounds, effects, etc. from them. I think I can...I'm not entirely sure, though. I know that if I had a faster internet connection I'd be downloading PhotoImpression5, though...

Well, my pizza's getting cold, so I best be eating that...

*reads Naruto*

This battle...is so..intense! Its so suspenseful! Thank god I've got chapter 27 on hand to read after I finish 26. If I didn't, I think I'd just about die.

I'm sort of, half watching The Day After Tomorrow. I'm more listening to it then watching it. Its been pretty good so far.

I played Tenchu for a bit today before Josie and my dad picked me up and took me to their house. I was right in the middle of a level when they picked me up too. Oh well. I didn't mind; it was just the third layout of the first mission for Rikimaru.

Oh yeah, I beat my old record of completely Ayame's first mission. I think my old record was about 10 minutes before it was completed and this time I beat the third layout in six minutes and about thirty seconds. I was pretty damn proud of myself. *grin*

*gasps* Wow! This chapter (27) is already intensifyingly exhilirating! Woo! Go Sasuke!

I think my plan for this weekend is to make a bunch of wallpapers. I've been on an inspiration to make them, so I've promised myself to do it.

Kids at school have been urging me to draw a cover to be submitted for the yearbook this year. I've been trying to think of something to draw, but its been quite hard. I'm going to think on it until Sunday, then draw it after my soccer game and submit it on Monday...

*bounces up and down* Yay! Yay! Yay! Go Kakashi!

Sorry, sorry, I can't help it. I just love this chapter!

Oh well, I don't have much else to say. Guess I'm done then!

Sleep will consume me. . .

For some extremely odd reason I'm absolutely exhuasted today. When I woke up this morning, I fell right back asleep and didn't get back up until 7:28, which left me about 5 minutes to get ready before my bus got to the house. And throughout the entire time I was rushing around, getting ready, I was doing my best to keep my eyes open.

Then, during a few classes today, I had to struggle to keep myself awake! But, I made it to the end of the day without falling asleep, yay!

I also finally got the width of this table right. Turns out the background image's width is 375. >.> I thought for sure I'd made it 500. Oh well, atleast my tables look correct now.

I didn't go to soccer practice today. My mom called my coaches and they said that I didn't have to come because it was raining, but that if I wanted to I could. My mom made the decision for me not to the go, much against my own decision which to go.

Well, I guess since I didn't have to go to soccer practice it enabled me to get some extra sleep. But now even after that I'm still ultra tired. I guess I'll try to get lots of sleep tonight; which I doubt will be possible. More than likely I'll get the same amount of sleep I got last night which would be around seven hours.

I finally got to play Tenchu today. ^_^ But, I've had so little time to play it I've only completed two layouts of Rikimaru's first mission and the first layout of Ayame's first mission. But I also completed the bonus mission for Rikimaru entitled "Through the Portal" and the demo of Tenchu, and while I was playing those I probably could have completed a few more missions, but that's ok. I plan on asking my dad for the game for Christmas, along with Digimon: Rumble Arena 2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

I've made it a plan in my head, to make a bunch of wallpapers this weekend. I've just been feeling inspired ever since I went through my wallpapers the other day and looked at how many downloads each one had, heh. My most downloaded one was my .hack//DUSK wallpaper with 84 downloads.

During art today, we got to color art journal for ourselves and I had a lot of fun with it because I drew Naruto parafenalia! Shuriken, the leaf village symbol, a forest, and I was going to draw Kakashi and Naruto but I couldn't remember exactly how Kakashi hair went. >.> Oh well, that's ok.

I think I'll now post this so I can attempt to visit everyone's site's before 10 PM.

Need. . .more. . .Naruto. . .

I think I've become a Naruto addict. 24 hours a day that's whats on my mind: Naruto. Naruto. Naruto. Especially after I finished reading chapter 25 at school today. Stupid cliffhangers...Well, atleast its only two more days until I can go to my dad's and read chapters 26 and 27 which were successfully downloaded before I was forced to go back home. T_T

Math club was fun, as always, heh. Nicknames of people in the club were given and nicknames were also learned, lol. The only bad thing was we ran out of candy and chips. *cries* And there were only enough Kit-Kats for almost everyone to have one.

Computer's with 800x600 resolutions bug me. A lot. They make my table background overlap. I know this because when I view it on a 1024x768 resolution, it looks just fine, but when its viewed on 800x600 or less, it overlaps. But, see, I've got the width set to 500 pixels and the background image is 500 pixels wide, so its just kind of strange. Oh well, I really do just absolutely hate any resolution lower than 1024x768. It just bugs me how...large everything is and how stretched out and distorted some things are that were coded for 1024x768 resolutions.

Well, back on track...sort of.

After Math Club, I went with Xio to her house, as always. There of which we jumped on her trampoline for awhile before it started spinkling and our cold toes forced up to head inside. *snickers* Then when we went into her room, I started snooping through her notebooks. She hit me, though, and tore out all of her horrible drawings in the notebooks and tossed them under the bed. T_T The entire time I attempted to get one of the papers she had torn out and tossed, but she prevented me from doing so by punching me. Ouch.

I just got back home about an hour ago; my mom picked me up from Xio's house at around 7:30 PM or so.

*quickly dashes off and hits the record button on the VCR* I've promised myself to record the last Presidential debate so I don't miss anything while I'm in the shower. That's happened during the last three debates. Damnit...but I'm glad that I've remembered to atleast record this one.

I've barely gotten to play Tenchu and it already has to go back tomorrow. *cries* I guess if I don't play it tonight I'll play as much as I can when I get home tomorrow. But I don't want to take it back! I wish so badly that I owned it! *cries*

Ah well, I don't think I have anything else to say at the moment so, later...

Naruto on the brain

Ever since I never got to finish reading chapter 25 of Naruto at my dad's (my mom picked me up when I was right in the middle of it >.>), I've just had Naruto on the brain. I mean, no matter what I do all I can think about is ninja's, shinobi's, etc. and about what's going to happen in the rest of the chapter that I haven't been able to read! I'm just so...engaged in it that I absolutely need to know what's going to happen! You know what, I think I'm going to read it tomorrow at school. Yeah, the school has fast computers so I'll be able to finish up the chapter during CEWT most likely.

During English today, Mrs. Stratton randomly handed out our American Hero essays to the class and had us read through the essays and then write what we liked/disliked about it. Well, it just so happens that my essay was given to the girl sitting in front of me, so I got to hear first hand what she thought of it. She told me that it was a very emotional essay and that it almost made her cry it was so good. Heh, I was completely flattered; I really didn't think I did that good of a job on it myself, but I guess now that I think about it, I did work really hard on it.

Anyway, aftering writing what we liked/disliked about the paper, she had us count out how many sentences there were in the paper, write the first word of each sentence and count each word in each sentence. Sounds hard right? Yep, it was a bit challenging. I had to do a little backtracking because I accidentally counted too many sentences and then when I recounted I discovered I had skipped a sentence as well.

Other than that, Spanish was pretty fun. I got picked to be a "team Captain" because we were playing review games of the months, days of the week and numbers that we had learned over the past few weeks. I got to choose people to be on my team and then I got to choose who would go up and face an opponet from one of the other three teams. I chose my team very wisely; I made sure to choose people who's strengths would make up for other's weaknesses.

We did a damn good job, too. We ended up winning with a score of 15 I believe. I think the group who got second had 13 and after that it was around 11 for the other two groups. We got to choose what kind of candy was going to be our prize, so I figure that Mrs. Nickerson will have the candy for us soon. ^_^ Yay! Candy!

I finally got around to drawing another panel in my Metal Gear Solid comic. It took me about two hours to draw it. About forty-five minutes to think of what to put on it and then the rest of the time to actually draw it. I think it turned out quite nicely. I'm going to bring the notebook I drew it in to school tomorrow because a couple of my classmates like to see my drawings, even if they're not interested in the subject of the actual comic.

Next on my list of what to do tonight is finish up my third After Story Extra in my story. Xio's eager to read this part because it involves a thing that's become quite a hilarious conversation maker at school, heh. After I'm done with this extra story I'm still debating on who's I'll write next. There are a few character of whom I should to get done now and a few that I want to save 'till the end.

What else...what else...I finished Rurouni Kenshin volume 2 today. I also watched Friday the 13th Part 1. I was going to watch Part 2 as well, but I decided that instead I'd watch it tomorrow and have like, a Friday the 13th week where I watch one Friday the 13th movie every day this week. Or, almost every day anyway. Just depends on the circumstances really.

*laughs* I find it incredibly hilarious when websites take words from the page and insert them into their ads. Like this one for example:

New & used voodoo doll for sale. Check out the deals now!

Website: Ebay

Haha. Real nice. Atleast the one before it makes more sense:

Authentic voodoo dolls, spells, curses and a whole lot more!

Website: www.calastrology.com

Sometimes ads can be so amusing...

Alright, I better post this and get off now before Lonnie calls...

Naruto obsessed

I must say I am officially obsessed with Naruto. I read from chapter 9 to chapter 17 last night, heh. I finally figured out why Shonen Jump keeps skipping every other chapter; its because they want me to actually purchase the magazine and read the rest of it there. Bah, like I'm going to try to purchase a Shonen Jump magazine that I'll probably never ever find because its so old. So right now I've decided that I'll read as many chapters as I can on Shonen Jump before I'm forced to download one from Naruto Fan.com

I wish I had a faster internet connection T_T My computer's been downloading things uber slow lately. I think last night it was downloading at 1,000 bytes/sec...

But I'm willing to wait because, I mean, come on! Its Naruto!

I didn't get to play Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven last night. My dad came home and was up playing .hack//QUARANTINE all night. But he said I could take Tenchu home with me since I didn't get to play it here; just as long as I have my mom return it when its due, which should be...Thursday if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, that should be right. That's plenty of time for me to play it, too.

Heh, I'm downloading Chapter 19 at the moment of Naruto and reading Chapter 18 on Shonen Jump, lol. I already checked to see which were the next chapters SJ was going to skip and it looks as if they're going to skip 19 and 20, so after I get 19 all downloaded I'm downloading 20. I'm also going to be looking up a few cheats for Tenchu. I have some but not all of the one's that I need. Atleast I'll be able to print them, lol. The printer is finally working again...slightly. The black ink works now, but the color doesn't. >.> I was so close to be able to print Xio's pictures that she wanted me to print for her. Dammit!

I read through my Archives last night, heh. I discovered that 4 and a quarter pages of my Archives have been devoted to TehSillyCircus 2. I don't think I'd even have 17 pages of Archives right now if I hadn't have entered this contest. I also know that I will do everything I can to beat that arrogant Shinmaru!

MSN IM wont let me sign in. *cries* A friend of mine on YIM says that he can't sign in either, so atleast I know its not just me. ^_^ I'm guessing MSN is doing something to mess with MSN IM, so...oh hey! Yay! It signed me in! It signed me in! Hip hip hooray!

Ah, well, I'm done for the day.

Hooray!

Xio and I have a plan to buy all of the Saiyuki manga we can! She's going to start out by buying "Saiyuki" and I'm going to start going after the prequel* and sequel* to it. *prequel is Saiyuki: Gaiden(I think...) and sequel is Saiyuki: Reloaded.

Speaking of manga, I finally finished the first volume of Rurouni Kenshin today! *grins* Darnit, I wish I had brought volume 2 with me to my dads though. Oh, and thank you so much for giving me that website, Mimmi! Your so wonderful! *hugs*

The soccer game today was great. I did really well; especially when I was playing defender during the first half. I put all of my past years of experience, skills and whatnot to keep that damned team away from the goal! I also did quite well in the second half when I was playing goalie. Only one goal got passed me! And at the very end of the game, I made a really close save. The ball flew up into the air and I jumped as high as I could and the ball smacked my hand and flew out of bounds. Then, a few minutes before the whistle signaling the end of game blew, I ran up to grab the ball and got a full cleat kicked into my thigh. Ouchies. But it only hurt for a few minutes before I was fine. ^_^

The other team's coach was such an ass though. He's one of those coaches who just doesn't get that its just a game and that we're just playing to have fun. Its not a league; its not like if they lose they're not going to advance to the next round or something. Its just a way for kids to have fun. It doesn't matter if you win or lose.

The score at the end of the game was tied, 2-2.

I bought the complete box set of the Friday the 13th movies on DVD today. My mom had borrowed $100 from me, so she let me buy it(it was $60) and she says that she'll give me back the $40 she still owes me soon. I think I'm going to ask for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for Christmas from my dad and Josie, and then save up a little more money and buy Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater myself.

And while we're on the subject of video games, I asked Josie to rent me Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven when she went to the video store. God, I just love that game. ^_^ And I've just had this sudden compelling urge to play it; so if you don't see me on AIM, MSN or YIM, then I'm off playing that most likely.

I think I'm out of things to talk about now so, I'm off to visit everyone's sites!
