Naruto on the brain
Ever since I never got to finish reading chapter 25 of Naruto at my dad's (my mom picked me up when I was right in the middle of it >.>), I've just had Naruto on the brain. I mean, no matter what I do all I can think about is ninja's, shinobi's, etc. and about what's going to happen in the rest of the chapter that I haven't been able to read! I'm just so...engaged in it that I absolutely need to know what's going to happen! You know what, I think I'm going to read it tomorrow at school. Yeah, the school has fast computers so I'll be able to finish up the chapter during CEWT most likely.
During English today, Mrs. Stratton randomly handed out our American Hero essays to the class and had us read through the essays and then write what we liked/disliked about it. Well, it just so happens that my essay was given to the girl sitting in front of me, so I got to hear first hand what she thought of it. She told me that it was a very emotional essay and that it almost made her cry it was so good. Heh, I was completely flattered; I really didn't think I did that good of a job on it myself, but I guess now that I think about it, I did work really hard on it.
Anyway, aftering writing what we liked/disliked about the paper, she had us count out how many sentences there were in the paper, write the first word of each sentence and count each word in each sentence. Sounds hard right? Yep, it was a bit challenging. I had to do a little backtracking because I accidentally counted too many sentences and then when I recounted I discovered I had skipped a sentence as well.
Other than that, Spanish was pretty fun. I got picked to be a "team Captain" because we were playing review games of the months, days of the week and numbers that we had learned over the past few weeks. I got to choose people to be on my team and then I got to choose who would go up and face an opponet from one of the other three teams. I chose my team very wisely; I made sure to choose people who's strengths would make up for other's weaknesses.
We did a damn good job, too. We ended up winning with a score of 15 I believe. I think the group who got second had 13 and after that it was around 11 for the other two groups. We got to choose what kind of candy was going to be our prize, so I figure that Mrs. Nickerson will have the candy for us soon. ^_^ Yay! Candy!
I finally got around to drawing another panel in my Metal Gear Solid comic. It took me about two hours to draw it. About forty-five minutes to think of what to put on it and then the rest of the time to actually draw it. I think it turned out quite nicely. I'm going to bring the notebook I drew it in to school tomorrow because a couple of my classmates like to see my drawings, even if they're not interested in the subject of the actual comic.
Next on my list of what to do tonight is finish up my third After Story Extra in my story. Xio's eager to read this part because it involves a thing that's become quite a hilarious conversation maker at school, heh. After I'm done with this extra story I'm still debating on who's I'll write next. There are a few character of whom I should to get done now and a few that I want to save 'till the end.
What else...what else...I finished Rurouni Kenshin volume 2 today. I also watched Friday the 13th Part 1. I was going to watch Part 2 as well, but I decided that instead I'd watch it tomorrow and have like, a Friday the 13th week where I watch one Friday the 13th movie every day this week. Or, almost every day anyway. Just depends on the circumstances really.
*laughs* I find it incredibly hilarious when websites take words from the page and insert them into their ads. Like this one for example:
New & used voodoo doll for sale. Check out the deals now!
Website: Ebay
Haha. Real nice. Atleast the one before it makes more sense:
Authentic voodoo dolls, spells, curses and a whole lot more!
Website: www.calastrology.com
Sometimes ads can be so amusing...
Alright, I better post this and get off now before Lonnie calls...
