Yo everybody. If you didn’t see yesterday's post, please take a look. And if you weren't here for my Otaku-versary, please see the bottom of the page. ~_^

I'm watching a segment on Unsolved Mysteries about demonic possession. It's sad that so many people think that demons are just symbols for evil rather then an actual incarnation of evil. Hoo boy, those kinds of people have a RUDE awakening for them sooner or later. 99 out of 100 people that claim to be possessed are just mentally ill, but the 100th is almost always the real deal.
Science is a staple of reality, but it's also not infallible. "Science says God does not exist". Feh. Guess what Mr. Smarty-Pants, science has been wrong before. At one point science said that the world was flat, and that elephants didn't have bones, and that a perpetually acidic substance could turn lead into gold (these are all things that were seriously believed at one point). Though God is always right, the church can be wrong and science can be wrong in interpreting God's ways. God set science into place, so science won't disagree with what God said (and if it does, science is wrong due to human error).
You can't ignore reality and say "God is everything", but you can't ignore spirituality and say "God is nothing".

"Science without religion is lame (inadequate and unconvincing). Religion without science is blind."
-Albert Einstein

Now that I'm finished being all deep and stuff, let's talk about something fun. ^_^'

I forgot to tell you about a specific episode of Love Hina I watched yesterday. Those who have seen the series will know what I'm talking about.
Do you remember the episode about Motoko's dream about the video-game? Man that was funny! It was just so awesome seeing all my favorite Love Hina characters in cute little RPG chibi form. =^_^=
The last ep. I watched today was the episode that introduced Seta and Sarah to the series. Sarah's such a little brat. Lucky for her she's cute. Hopefully she'll be a bit nicer then she was in the manga.

Speaking of Love Hina, I redid my little Metal Text label for the series. It's cleaner and has less bulky lettering:

Cool, neh?

Anyway, new Poll of the Week's up. Plus, there are 2 new quotes at the top of may page.
I'd also like to thank atreyu7slip for his gift of putting Resident Evil clips on his site during the week of my birthday.
Oh, and by the way, my birthday's on Monday! I'll be 16!

OK everybody, I'll see you tomorrow! (Which will be my last day before leaving for the beach!)

   Hey everybody!
Look what Ami-chan drew for me!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Isn't that cool!? Thank you so much, Ami!
Please click here if you wish to vote and comment on this piece (which me and Ami would both really enjoy).

And speaking of Ami-chan, I'd like to request that we pray for her at this time. Her aunt is now in the hospital with what may be a fatal blood-clot. Adding to the stress, Ami had to spend a day de-weeding her grandma's lawn (please remember that it is JULY with JULY heat) and got a sunburn from it. Visit her site for more details. Please pray for her, as well as all the people in Cuba and other gulf-Atlantic countries that were affected by the recent hurricanes, as requested by our member Kashin.

If you didn’t see yesterday's post, please take a look. It was my Otaku-versary yesterday, and I want you to see the banner that Lindsey made me. ^_^ Thank you so much, Lindsey!

Anyway, my parents went to a concert last night from 7:00 PM till 11:00 PM, leaving me to baby-sit. But wouldn't ya' know it, the power went out at 7:30 PM till 10:30 PM. No TV for my little brother or sister, no light for me to draw by, no air-conditioning, no nothing! It sucked! I would have gotten so much drawing and so much Love Hina watched!
Oh, didn't I tell you? I borrowed Josh's Love Hina DVD's when I spent the night there on Friday. I watched a bunch of Love Hina today and Monday, and I'm lovin' it! I even made this label that I thought looked pretty cool (even though it took me under a minute to make):

Like any anime, it has some pretty corny parts. But even the corniest parts are worth seeing Keitaro sent flying in star-studded animated form! Man, it is hilarious! Even though I have to watch it in my brother's room (the lucky dog has a DVD player on his computer), it's still loads of fun!
I'll see you all tomorrow!

Yes, I am fully aware that it's July.

   It's my Otaku-versary!!!
Like the title says, it's my Otaku-versary today! One year ago to the day is when I first posted here!
And just look at what Lindsey-chan made me!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Isn't that frikken' awesome!? I just can't believe that Lindsey-chan took time out of her busy schedule (she has a job, ya' know) to make me a gift for my Otaku-versary! She's just so incredible! I just can't get over how awesome and just down-right nice she is! And it's not like this is even the first time she's been beyond kind and generous to me!
*hint hint*

=D You so rock, Lindsey! You're just beyond anything I even dared to hope for in a friend!

In other news, I submitted 5, count em', 5 new pics this morning! One is another zombie pic, and the other 4 are new pics in my series of ghost profiles! Please take a second to check them out and tell me what you think! Oh, and votes are nice to, preferably in the "yes" direction. ^_^'

By the way, I just wanted to get something straight with you guys. I'm starting to think that you're getting confused with which pics are ghosts and which pics are zombies.
Ghost pics will usually have a title that either begins with "Victim" or end with "Ghost". My ghost "Nives" and my demon "Soul Eater" have been the only exception made so far.
Pics that show zombies of some sort will have titles that will usually either begin with "Zombie" or "Las Ganados". I've only done 4 zombie pics total (counting "Green Zombie" and "Zombie" from February).
We clear now? ^_^

Before I go (I gotta' go to the Y in a second), my birthday is now less then a week away! I'll be 16!
Oh, and if I haven't already told you, I'm going on my yearly one-week family vacation on Friday! I'll be at the beach for a week, but I MIGHT be able to post if I can get my dad to bring his laptop. ^_^d

See you all tomorrow!

   Guess who's back, back again.....
I've got some great news, guys.
Guess who's back.

It's AmiGouchi! My Ami-chan is back! I missed her so much! I haven't talked to her since February or so! It's so great to know she'll be back with us on TheOtaku!
Ah, I just love my Ami-chan. For those who don't know her already, you'll love her. She's sweet, diligent, friendly, and a fantastic artist! Need proof? Check out her art, and you'll see what I'm talking about. She is un-frikken'-believable.
Anyway, great to have ya' back, Ami-chan! We all missed you very, very much!

In other news, there's a new song of the week up. This week it's "Death Valley Queen", by Flogging Molly! Please just sit and listen to the song at least once. It's a really funny song that narrates a story, and it's worth at least one play!

By the time you read this, I will have submitted a new pic! It's a zombie I drew last night in an hour or so. The design was inspired by the zombies I saw in Resident Evil 2 while I was over at Josh's house (see Saturday's post/the one on the bottom of the page).
Instead of a "Los Ganados" zombie from Resident Evil 4 (which I have been drawing most often), I did one of the earlier classical zombies, which means it's a zombie who's only goal is to walk around and eat anything that moves. Please check it out in my portfolio to vote and comment and tell me what you think! The scan pretty much ruined the quality, though. -_-'

Anyway, that's about it for today. Oh! Before I go, tomorrow will be the one-year anniversary of my very first post on TheOtaku! (Though I technically joined TheOtaku a little over a year ago, I didn't really use the site until one year ago tomorrow. So that makes tomorrow my real Otaku-versery.)
Here's to me being an Otaku for another year and then many beyond that! Cheers!!!
Plus, my birthday's soon! July 25th, baby! Rock on!!!

   Hey everybody.
Please look at yesterday's post if you haven't already (preferably before you continue reading this one). It took me a long time to type, and it's sort of important.

Have any of you seen that short film on the internet called "Rubber Johnny" or something? Man, it is friggen' CREEPY. Josh and I watched it the other night over at his house on ebaum's world. I'll bet it's the product of a young film-school student or something. I wish I could make something that creepy.
Anybody who's curious about the film can go to www.ebaumsworld.com and see it. It should be one of the newest additions on the right-hand side that says something like "This is the creepy video everybody is talking about. Watch with the lights out", or something like that. I would post a clickable link directly to the clip, but like I've said, I have this crap-tastic blocker that won't let me go to Ebaum's World. -_-' Anyway, if you watch it, please come back and tell me what you think.

MadamRyeka asked me to post 2 of her pics on my site for her. I'll give you the links to encourage you to vote and comment on her wonderful art. ^_^ Please?

Ryeka did this piece as one of several possible requests for me. She knew that I thought mermaids and nagas look really cool, so she drew her OC for Naruto named Sayoko, but in mermaid form! I thought it came out really pretty, plus it gave Ryeka the chance to make another visual joke out of Sayoko's.....’most famous attribute’. X3 Ya' gotta' love Ryeka's style!

Ryeka also asked that I post a link to this pic that she recently submitted. Rika is another one of her original characters, and holds the cool title of "Rose of the Dead". Sweeeeeeeeeeet.

That's about it for today, so I'll see you all tomorrow!

This is a screen-shot of Wesker from Code Veronica. Wesker's frikken' awesome, and this shows the awesome glowing trail effect he does so often. Keep in mind that this shows Wesker turning his head a little past the viewer after looking at something in the bottom-right corner, giving you an idea of what direction the light trail actually goes.

Hey everybody! Guess who's back from a hangin' with Josh and is now feelin' a s***-load better.
It's me! I'm not gonna' be all pissy and mopey anymore, biz-natch! No sir! Thanks to my buddy and the support from all my great friends here on The Otaku, I feel like break-dancin'!

I was up till 5 last night playing, well, watching Josh play Resident Evil 2. I actually prefer to watch videogames then play them unless I'm alone, especially with things like Resident Evil, because I learn so much about drawing zombies and such!
We also did some drawing, but Josh was the only one that got anything productive done. He should be submitting it soon.

And speaking of Josh (DrunkenMaster by way of Otaku), he submitted a frikken' sweet Naruto pic recently! Check it out here! Please vote and comment!

Anyway, I'm having some trouble deciding the next song of the week.
So...............

Let's see, what else? Oh, I thought this was a pretty cool optical illusion:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Our dear friend Lindsey (ElvesAteMyRamen) woke up one morning, and to her surprise discovered that continental drift had massively altered the geography of her favorite city, and she took this photo to prove it.
XD Naw, just kidding. This is another optical illusion created with photo-manipulation.

Before I go, please know that I will reply any and all PM's you have sent me. Lord knows things have been a tad hectic over here. -_-' Sorry for the delay.

Claire Redfield from RE2 and Code Veronica. <3 ^///^

Ha ha. I thought that was cute. I think dreamwings uses it for her avatar.

Time of Post: 11:15 AM
Listening to: "Jump in the Fire" by Metallica.

Hi everybody. How's it going?
I'm sorry I've had such a shitty attitude recently. Sorry for the language, but if you can think of a better word to describe me then "shitty" then I'm all ears.

I want to wish my Erin-chan a happy birthday. I'm sorry for not doing so yesterday (when it actually was her birthday), but I was so pissed off that it would have sounded weird. I even had a birthday pic drawn for her, but it came out so crappy that I couldn't bring myself to submit it. -_-' Please forgive me, Erin-chan.

*sigh*, I'm still just really depressed, guys. The only reason I'm not in the asylum yet is because my mom took my brother to work with her (after the crap he pulled yesterday and Monday).
I feel like I've let a lot of you down for one reason or another. I'm really sorry if I have.

Anyway, I'll end this with a pic from Fullmetal Alchemist:

Rose has always been one of my favorite characters from FMA. Maybe it's the thought-provoking character development and complex traits, or maybe it's just the awesome pink bangs.

Hey everybody. I still feel like shit. Pardon the language, but I honestly don’t care.

Thank for all the support, special thanks to MadamRyeka, AmiGouchi, Living Doll, Miyoko-chan, as well as everyone else that commented.

I woke up feeling better, but within 5 minutes I was screaming my head off at my brother and sister. They were fighting over something stupid, and they ruined my mood.

I don't want my teeth to hurt for 5 days every 4 weeks. I don't want to have brushing and flossing made near-impossible. I don't want to have to wear some mechanized head-gear piece of crap while I sleep.
When the dentists were looking at my teeth, they were just sitting there talking about the possibility of 2-year braces, and they were laughing about it while they did it. I wanted to grab that metal hook they had in my mouth and stab them between the eyes with it. Stupid little psycho-bitches.

Yes, I still feel like shit. Screw it all.

   Time of Post: 10:32 AM
Listening to: "The Four Horsemen", by Metallica (as loud as I can freakin' get it)

Hey everybody. Just got back from the orthodontist. Guess what? I gotta' get braces for the next year and 1/2 at the least. I got to get them top and bottom, bands in the back, full-metal on the bottom, plus I'm going to have to wear some sort of night-brace or something while I sleep.
I guess it's not enough that I have glasses and black-heads, or that I’m already ugly as hell, so I've now gotta' look even goofier. I also guess it's not enough to have a brother and sister that give me a stroke every day, so now I gotta' deal with them WHILE my teeth are irritated and sore. And finally I guess it's not enough that I don't sleep well, so now I have to sleep with some sort of Mongoloid-correctional contraption in my teeth.
And don't any of you who already said that "braces suck" dare try to go back on what you said and try to push "Oh, there not THAT bad" on me. I don't want to deal with your self-contradiction BS right now.

My dad told me that the stress my brother is putting on him and my mom is so intense that they're inches away from splitting up. The doctor told my dad that the stress is also about to put him in the hospital with a heart-attack or a panic attack because he already has high blood-pressure. I told my brother about this, and he said he didn't care. That little fuck doesn't care about anyone but himself.

This is total shit. I can't take this anymore. I'm seriously about to fuckin' loose my fuckin' mind.

And before you ask, yes, I am felling depressed.
I'll see you all in hell. (^)>_<(^)

Hey everybody. Sorry for posting so late, but I had a busy day. Woke up at 12:30 PM (yes, I know, doesn't sound that busy), cleaned the house a little, went to work out, went to Barne's & Nobles, went for a bike-ride, wrestled with the computer to get it to work (which it does now ^_^), ate dinner, took a shower, and here I am!

Any who, as I said I went to B&N's today. I started where I left in Love Hina vol. 13, but when I went to the bathroom (my stomachs been upset >_@), one of the book-sorters took my book while I was gone! Just where the heck do they put the books that they swipe!? Good gravy, I hate that!
Since I wouldn't be able to read the dramatic conclusion I had been waiting a week for, I got a chance to read "Dark Water". Did you guys know that both the movies "Dark Water" and "The Ring" were inspired by manga? It's true! I sure hope the movies better then the manga, though.
After that, I started and finished the first book of "Immortal Rain". Normally I wouldn't have even picked the book up, but I remembered that EAMR is a big fan of the series (though she hasn't mentioned it in a while). Man, it was actually pretty good! The story was great, but the art was FANTASTIC! I could really learn from that art! Though the whole "this goofy guy can't be the person I'm looking for" hero has been done a bunch already, it was still pretty interesting. Sure made me a fan. Thanks yet again, Lindsey!

In other news, I found some more great footage of Resident Evil 4 for my VGMV. Usually the only clip I was using was 3 minutes and 57 seconds long, which was a bad thing because "Enter Sandman" lasts 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Eh heh ^_^', good thing I found the extra clips, eh?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I'm thinking about making an avatar out of this picture. One that says, "I'm gonna' serve your ass to ya' on a plate", which fades out, and the text that fades in says "I'm not kidding". XD

See ya' tomorrow!

Oh, and please pray for me tomorrow as I go to the orthodontist tomorrow, whatever an "orthodontist" is.
