   Home Stretch...PIKMIN!

Well, many realize that it's nearly the end of the school year, so you can't blame me for being completely swamped with work. With finals coming, I'll be studying a lot more. Calculus is difficult. It's difficult to a point no other math can reach. Don't say geometry or algebra is more difficult. I took those classes and Calculus owns them both combined.

It's a shame that I won't be able to play Elebits, which is when you take Half-Life 2 and put in a bunch of Pikmin. It's a shooter, but it's like hide-and-seek. And the "Elebits" are Pikmin. Okay, not exactly, but they look, sound, and act like Pikmin, so I'm gonna say they're Pikmin.

   Metal Slug Anthology

Well, I recently finished up my review on this game. I'm a big fan of the side-scroller genre, and recent incarnations of the genre like Alien Hominid and Gunstar Heroes on the Wii rock. It's really by-the-book and mindless, but it's a rockin time. It's on PS2 and PSP as well.

LP and MS

It was quick, but the last few weeks were full of stress and stuff. I'm back! Here's what's going on in AK's mind:

Linkin Park. I still need to buy their new album Minutes to Midnight, which came out today. I could go on saying my thoughts on that, but that's been done.

I still am playing Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii, which is easily one of the greatest retro collection for the Wii thus far. There's basically no point: you shoot and run right. You really get infinite lives and can continue whenever you want, but who really cares? Talk about a mindlessly fun game.

   So...about Spider-Man 3.

People camping outside to see Spider-Man 3? How strange. Surely, it will be good, and many people will deem it great. I just wanna play the game. Wii webslingin'.

   Brave Little Toaster!

I recently became interested, well, re-interested in an old cult cartoon that Disney created back in the 80's. I'm speaking of course of the Brave Little Toaster. Man, that movie rocks. I mean, a bunch of appliances wander to find their owner. The songs were catchy, some of the scenes were unusally dark, and the characters were great. Anyone remember it? You should, because they created two sequels to the movie back in the 90's. I even began drawing a picture of Toaster, and my little goth friend thought it was cute. Man, that movie rocks! I'll keep hoping for another release, preferably a Brave Little Toaster world in the next Kingdom Hearts!

   Eureka Seven Afterthoughts

Yes, Eureka Seven is over. I'm a bit torn up. Yeah, when an anime ends, I can't help but feel a bit torn up. When Shaman King ended, it took me a while to get over it. It's great to see long-lasting anime like Naruto and Bleach, though. Eureka Seven was an incredibly emotional anime, and will hopefully be re-run a la FLCL (which is another top anime of mine, but it got re-run for years :) so it's cool.)

   New Used Tune

Anyone heard the new single from The Used? "The Bird and the Worm" is a really haunting song. Although I only recently became interested in their music, it's definitely a good one.

I also need to write reviews and some more poetry. I'm definitely a procrastinator. :)

   With his ninja info cards...

From the creator of "IT'S OVER 9000!!," it's another shameless anime parody from Kajetokun. Youtube has the original ninja beatbox scene from the dub too!

   Of Eureka Seven

I never thought that an anime could reach the emotionally-intense work of art as FLCL, but Eureka Seven is quickly becoming a heartfelt story. FLCL is by far one of my favorite anime, and although Eureka Seven most likely won't surpass it, it's just so beautiful. Watch Eureka Seven. It's a beautiful and heartfelt story.

   Welcome Gintoki!

Well, decided it was about time for a change. Chaos will always be in our hearts, but now Gintoki has center stage. I first read this manga in Shonen Jump, only to realize its mass popularity in Japan. Gintoki and friends also appeared in Jump! Ultimate Stars, and after reading a bit more of the manga, I really got interested in it. I mean, half the time Gin's eating pocky and reading manga. Nice.
