   Hard at Work

Hey, sorry about not being around. I decided to revisit FictionPress and get back to my passion for a while. I decided to review a few aspiring writers' works, something that just feels like the right thing to do. I get to be critical all while helping people. Everybody wins.

Also, I created my first AMV ever. It features Shaman King and a new song from 10 Years called "11:00 A.M. (Daydreamer)," probably my favorite song from their new album Division. Feel free to check it out.

As for my social life, I'm still a bit alone. Guess that's what writing's for; burning off those extra emotions. Sorrow makes for grand poetry.

Hope everyone's doing okay. Don't hesitate to message me if you want. I'll reply. I'm still waiting for something to happen with theOtaku and MyOtaku; we'll see what happens. Thanks, all.

   Missing You All

I've been wandering around theO, though I still am coming to grips with the new layout. Hmm...

Still feeling pretty lonely. I don't seem to get as many private messages as I did before. I...well...kinda liked that. I miss my friends, all of em.

Good that I recently went back to FictionPress. It's easier to write poetry with a restless spirit. I'm trying to keep the inspiration going. I feel a bit down not keeping many of my stories updated. A guy needs a bit of downtime, I guess.

I miss you all. Remember: a little message can go a long way.

   Rock on!

Sorry for not updating for a while. I tried to visit pages and comment. It's been pretty quiet here. That is, unless you count Rock Band.

Rock Band for the 360 is just plain fun. I like playing the guitar and drums, and even singing is pretty cool. I also have some extra songs from 30 Seconds to Mars and Queens of the Stone Age. It's fun, and I have a review up on Gamefaqs and Gamespot.

School is trudging along. I have been visiting colleges and I'm still trying to decide where to go. I need to decide quick.

Well, I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to update more often. Thanks and see ya!

   Happy Birfday to Me

Well, my b-day is approaching fast. By the time many of you see this, it'll probably be my b-day entirely. 18 years; I've been around on this Earth for 18 years. It shows that I'm getting pretty adult. I'll get a Youtube account soon, and I might get a Gamespot account too. I could get a Gamespot a long time ago, but many of you seem pretty bored of me talking about video games all the time. I'll be able to redirect my attention here to my stories and such.

Well, maybe not.

I was gonna get DDR for my 360, but I still need to get my sis a birthday present. She got me this awesome poster with "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics" on it. I hung it in my basement. It ties the whole thing together.

Well, thanks to everyone who has wished me a happy b-day. Some of you are trying to give me presents, for that, thanks a million. It really means a lot.

Well, I'll be 18. See yall on Youtube and Gamespot: hopefully! ^^

   Games!!!

Hope everyone is doing okay.

I'm keeping tabs on the Game Developers' Conference to see what big name games are appearing. Miyamoto-sama showed the Wii Fit Balance Board, which I'm not entirely thrilled with. I mean, are developers really going to take it seriously enough to make good games? Some may just pass it off. A cool snowboarding game or an update of a game like Time Crisis would be cool, but we need some serious developers like Capcom on board (no pun intended).

Other than that, there's Gears of War 2. I haven't finished the first, but I made progress today. I also checked out No More Heroes for the Wii, which is a beautiful and cleverly designed game. It's rated M for a reason; there's blood and a lot of it. But its combat is awesome; you can even go Super Saiyan!

Both Nintendo and Microsoft are opening their doors for independent developers to design games for their respective systems, something that's pretty interesting.

I'm getting the sudden urge to play DDR, maybe for my 360. I checked the song list, and it's pretty cool. I do have two PS2 DDR games and they're great fun.

   Zero

Hope everyone enjoyed this fine Presidents' Day.

I went to the mall with my mom, sister, and sister's friends. I mostly ventured from store to store. Found some interesting manga at the bookstore. I investigated a bit of Deathnote before turning my attention to Kurohime, a sweet looking gun-witch manga. I checked around looking for games and stuff and I went around the Hot Topic a while. I want Tripp pants, but they're so darn expensive. In the end, I decided to save my money.

I wasn't on for a while because I invited my friends over to play video games all night. We should've had Brawl by then, but there was the whole delay. Hopefully I'll have Brawl ready before my friend's b-day party. I still need to pre-order it though. That's one reason that I'm saving some of my money.

I hope everyone likes the new pic. The guy reminds me of myself. I kinda dress like that: black shirt, messy hair, blue jeans. I kinda wish my life was as complete as in the pic. *sigh*

Well, so it goes...

Go ahead PM me if you care.

   Hmm...12 comments...

Well, it seems misery loves company.

Thanks for all of the support, everyone. It means a lot. I know I'm not gonna get nearly as much feedback on this one. So it goes...

I'm still aiming for something. I have yet to find someone who gets me as well as some others have. In the meantime, I've been exploring DeviantArt, doodling in class. I love my doodles and my work; at least I can create something that I love. Maybe there's hope for me yet...

I have yet to make a serious poem for a while; I hope my skills aren't losing their momentum. I guess it just takes some perspective to make things look serious.

A PM from a friend goes a long way, folks. I'm still trying to be social here, unlike in real life when I stick to my work, so I try to sign guestbooks and make friends easier than I do.

I wear black and I'm proud of it.

   Mourning

Well, I really don't know what to say.

I don't know if anyone gets this, but I feel let down. I've been listening to depressing music over and over. I don't know what I'd do without Deftones.

Love is a sick thing, it is. One minute you couldn't be happier, next you're vacant and emotionless. I feel completely empty talking here. Dammit, I tried dating online and it only fell apart. But I know there's someone out there, someone who gets me more than I get myself. I still don't know what to do in the next few days. Maybe a weekend will help.

I really hope this gets better before my B-day. At least there's friends. Yup...friends...

I just wish someone could get me. Someone could just level with me on this topic. Well, sorry for the depressing post. I guess I just feel kind of... well, alone.

   Bored...

Well, yeah, the weekend is approaching. Amazing.

Still listening to Deftones and Three Days Grace, with some Chevelle and Gorillaz. I got the Gorillaz D-Sides album for Xmas and I love listening to these rare tracks like Hong Kong.

I give thanks to those who've been role-playing with me over the past few days. My character is pretty upset with his master who betrayed him, but thanks to everyone who's dealt with Chibi AK and his antics. Thumbs-up for that.

As for Brawl, I'm still excited. I have heard that the game is slower-paced than Melee (which is something, because I pwn at Melee) but I've seen the full roster. Sonic will probably be my main character, just because he's so awesome. I wanted the game to be released before my B-day, but sadly, that is not the case. I'll have to wait a little longer. Then, gaming greatness will be reborn. ^^

   Here Again...

School is moving at a sluggish pace. I'm wiped out and it's only Tuesday. So it goes...

As for music, I love the new Three Days Grace single, "Riot." I also am a big fan of "One-X." I'm also listening to Deftones a lot. I liked them since "Hole in the Earth," but I seem to like their older stuff more. It's really good, and I can't wait for their new album due out this year.

Here's some of older Deftones, "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)."

Great to hear from the lot of you. I haven't been as dedicated to my writing lately. I keep trying to get back on track, but with school, it's been tough. I'll do my best to have some new poetry soon.

PM me if you're bored. :P
