   oh my.
Dear lord it has certainly been a very long time since I've even logged onto this account. I mean, my last post was in 2006! I've nearly forgotten about this place.
I can't figure out for the life of me how to change my userpic. The one that I'm currently using clashes like mad with the layout.
Well, I guess you can see that me personality has changed quite a bit through these years. I'm a lot more mellow and decidedly less noobish.
I promise that I won't murder the English language and use exclamation points multiple times unless I deem it absolutely necessary.
Sadly, Anime/Manga is not really in the forefront of my fandom anymore. I'm more into music now. Classic rock mostly, a little Jazz and opera thrown in here and there for good measure.
I can't say if I'll update regularly. I might pop in every now and then just to say hello.

Well, I've nothing else to say.
Goodbye. :]

Happy Boxing Day!
So today is the day after Christmas, otherwise known as Boxing Day!
I hope everyone is had a great Christmas and got everything they ever wanted. (Even ye who hath wished for My Pretty Pony Play sets and Tequila.)
I woke up at 4:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep so I read some more of Twilight. I can't believe I haven't finished it yet. I've been so busy.
Now I shall list the monumental things I received and the things I gave.

My loot:
iPod Nano [OMG! I was so exited about this one, it plays 500 songs and stores photos! But it stopped working so I have to return it.]
DVDS [I got various DVDs this year, "Love Comes Softly," "The Pink Panther" and a "Punchinello" episode. (He's my weakness.)]
Clothes [I got a bundle of really cute clothes. Including a Gone With The Wind t-shirt that I mentioned in my last update.]
Shoes [I got two pairs of shoes (not including slippers,) one was a pair of "granny boots" which I translate into Victorian/Edwardian/Neo-Classical Georgian shoes, and some black flats.]
Books [I got two books this year, one was about Brother Yun, a chinese missionary and the other is about one of my most favorite Italian figures, Marco Polo. Actually, THE Marco Polo book written by Marco himself. "The Travels of Marco Polo," aka "The Book of Lies" as it was deemed by it's contemporaries. How ever could it be that this Asia might be larger than Europe? Oh my.]
Candy [Various candies as stocking stuffers.]
Final Fantasy XII [I've been playing this all day and night! It's so fun, a bit challenging at time because the battle system takes a while to get used to. But over all it's such good fun! So far my favorite character is Fran, she's very agile and I like her long range weaponry. (I won't change her from a bow.) Also her personality is quite humorous. Cosplay worthy? Maybe.]
I can't think of anything else I got... still dazed by the ipod and FF12.

What I got Haa-chan:
Barbie and the Rocker's t-shirt in dark grey [When we were growing up Haa-chan and I always used to rent "Barbie and the Rocker's" from the video store. We knew the words to all of the songs and can still remember some of them. So, when I came across this t-shirt and in DARK GREY of all colors! I couldn't believe it! I had to buy it for her.]
Kingdom Hearts II Axel figure [An Axie for Axie! What more can I say?]

What I got for Hoshi-sama:
Pirates of the Caribbean t-shirt [Hoshi-sama just loves Pirates! It was a unique shirt too.]
Jewelry [Hoshi loooooves things that sparkle.]
Titanic special edition DVD [Hoshi is an absolute Titanic fanatic. I've always wanted to study the Titanic more in depth but I can't stand water. When I see the vast ocean and things rotting in it I get queezy like when some people see blood. I know, weird.]

What I got for Mum:
Yohlanda Adams "Day By Day" CD [Mummy loves black gospel and Ms. Adams is one of her favorite artists. So I got her the CD with one of her favorite songs "Victory."]

What I got for Dad:
A Coffee maker [It's the kind you stick the mug under it and it comes out. It was actually a joint gift with my sisters.]

So yeah, my Christmas was fun! So remember Jesus is the reason for the season, and I'm looking forward to the new year! Next year marks exactly 90 years since the death of the last Tsar, Nicholas II and his family. What a mile stone.
Happy Boxing day!

Twas the night before Christmas...
Not a creature was stirring, not even a boy who can become a mouse.

So it's Christmas eve! I'm so exited!! I'm totally racking up on money this year, I didn't get many gifts but oh the cash and cards! XD
Let me recap all the festivities starting with at my Grandmother's.
Okay, so the first night we got there Nanny, Dad and Uncle Greg all had to attend a funeral while Papa stayed at home to make sure us kids weren't getting addicted to prescription drugs. (I swear, she's paranoid about that.) We, as in my sisters, my cousin, Papa and I all watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I had already seen it once already that day in the car but I was eager to watch it again. That's how much I love it. Well, everyone seemed to enjoy it, although Hoshi-sama and Zac couldn't get over the fact that they sang. (It's a musical, people!)
But anyway, later that night we took Nanny out, telling her that we had reservations at some fancy restaurant. Then we told her that Dad and Uncle Greg had to stop at her pastor's house to "look at some golf clubs." When in reality we were leading them to the party. She complained the entire time about being late for the reservation.
When we got there and tricked them inside they were both so surprised! I was so happy for them, Nanny had never had a surprise party in her life.
After we got through with the party we went back to Nanny's house and opened presents. I only got two or three presents but I got money which is always good!
So anyway, we left there a couple uneventful days later and we had Christmas at the Hancocks.

I really can't tell you how much I love the Hancocks, every single one of them. I feel closer to them really than to my own family. I would much rather be around Lance and Justin than Brian or Nicholas. But aside from all that we had such a good time and I got to try this stuff called "Wossle" or however you spell it. Then we all sat in a huge circle and people talked about what they were thankful for and what they wanted from God in the coming year. I almost cried when Lance and Jenna were talking. Lance started to cry and I thought it was so sweet, we never see him serious. It was also kinda funny because his son, Lane kept laughing and making noise. He's only one, so he's still a baby.
Then Mum started talking about how much the Hancocks mean to us, I really started crying then. When we left that night we hugged everyone five or six times. They're so special.

Well, the next day we went to Pastor Kluane's house to spend Christmas with them.
I played the Sims a lot with sweet Amber and then we opened gifts. Dawson kept saying that every gift was from him! It was so cute.

And today we went to my other Grandmother's house, we had such fun and Chloe was so cute. X] I got myself a bunch of money and a couple of gifts which included a lovely t-shirt of Gone With The Wind! It so pretty, I think I'm going to wear it boxing day!

Anyway, if I don't get to post tomorrow, Merry Christmas!!!! (And potentially Happy Boxing Day, too.)

One week left...
It's one week until Christmas! I'm so exited.
I just got back today from Sandersville, I didn't inform you all that I was leaving, sorry.
But I had a good time, we celebrated Mrs. Cynthia's 53rd birthday! We also celebrated Ms. Cindy's 40th, Mr. Ricky's 60th and some other woman I don't know's 40th. We had such good fun and had lots of laughs. Well, day after tomorrow I leave again to go to my grandmother's house. Were celebrating Christmas and their 50th wedding anniversary. We're throwing them a surprise party. Okay, it's really not a surprise for Papa because we had to tell him so he could get Nanny to go to the place we're having the party. She was so adamant on cooking for us, but we had other, more festive plans.

I bought to DVDs today. I got Doctor Zhivago and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Two of my most favorite movies!
Both are the two disk special edition versions, which is such a good find. I spent 40 dollars but I don't care, I love those movies. I think I'm developing quite a collection of DVDs.
I've got a good portion of chapter one finished of my book. (Yay for me!)
...Okay, I'm running out of things to say so I'll end with,
Happy Christmas!

Christmas Tragedy...
I don't much feel like recapping the events of my trip, maybe I will tomorrow or some other time. But I can say that I had a lot of fun.
But I just found out today that an acquaintance of mine died in China last Friday. She was fifteen years old and the few times I had spoken to her she was very sweet. She went to China with some missionaries to help them look after their baby. While she was there she got appendicitis and in a British hospital they operated on her. The doctor was clumsy and accidentally snipped an artery. She bled to death in four hours. At first her parents didn't think they would be able to get her body home. They were going to cremate her then send her back to The States. Luckily her parents were able to get her back and her body will be shipped in a casket home tomorrow.
My heart bleeds for her family. I can't imagine such grief, especially around the Christmas season. This girl had the same violin teacher as my sister. And her sister called the violin teacher, crying. She said she didn't have any friends because her sister was gone. When he told us this tonight at the Christmas party it broke my heart. She was the same age as I so it really makes me think seriously about my place in life. I hope God gives her family peace, and I hope they have a good Christmas. My prayers are with them.
