   So Tired...Must Study...
Haven’t drawn anything as of yet, just colored some doodles in photoshop. Maybe I’ll add them to the site, lol, when I find a free image uploader that works. Anybody know of one?

This week is Spirit Week at school, and today was Decade/ Kid/ PJ Day. I dressed up as a little kid, with my hair in pony tails jutting from the sides of my head, with ribbons. I have really, really poofy hair. So that was interesting. Also carried around a little stuffed wolf backpack as a purse, lol.

Tomorrow is ‘Occupation Day’. I borrowed a paint splattered smock/shirt form my art teacher, and I’ll wear that along with jeans. I don’t plan on having a job that involves paint (I want to be an animator or something along those lines), but it’s the only cloths that yell “artist”, so I’m wearing it.

I received a thick, colored, hardcover book about Mica today. That school is loaded, if it can afford to send those books. I’m going to apply there, but even if they accepted me (heh. Not likely) I don’t think I could afford it. Grr.

Well, I should be studying for the math test I have tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be able to draw and submit something soon. ^^;

“...Fools, idiots, those who hear voices, those who speak in tongues. We are your lunatics. We surrender our lives to make your nonbelief possible. You are sure that you are right but you don’t want everyone to think as you do. There is no truth without fools.”
-Don DeLillo, WHITE NOISE

A quote to ponder...

Made another simple LE greeting. Lol, I love Alvis’s expression in that scene...Haven’t drawn much of anything, but I did scan in a doodle I did and played with it in Photoshop. We’ll see if I put it up in my journal. I wont submit it in the fanart though, lol, it’s only about 4 inches tall.

Since I finished ‘Pride and Prejudice’, I am finally reading ‘An Antic Disposition’ by Alan Gordon (the quote above was quoted in the first chapter). There’s five books in the series and this is the last one. *sob* When I’m finished it what am I going to read that involves jesters?

We had a very amusing Sociology experiment today. Mr. J had one student blindfolded (a track shirt and shorts over his head) and another student at the front of the room. Then he rearranged a lot of the desks, so that it was like a maze. The student at the front of the room was supposed to give him directions on how to get through the maze. It was very entertaining. They went through this twice, the second time with more detailed instructions like “two steps to the left” instead of just “turn to your left and walk”.

The experiment had to do with as we get older we are able to put ourselves in someone else’s place. We had been talking about how a child around seven gave the same instructions to two people, one was blindfolded, and one was not. The kid didn’t know to give the blinded guy more detailed instructions then the nonblinded person.

But then a 14 year old kid knew to do that. Interesting, yes?

...well it’s interesting to me....

It’s Going To Be A Busy Weekend
Submitted another Yu-Gi-Oh fanart. One guess as to who it is of, lol. It’s rather plain. ^^; It’s drawn in the manga style though. I plan to draw two or three more in that style.

Why can’t I draw anyone else? I tried to draw Otogi Ryuuji (Duke Devlin), and that turned out horrible, hence I did not post it. Lol, I didn’t even finish it.

Two people at school want me to draw Marik, (one wants me to draw him without a shirt, lol) but I don’t really feel like it. *sigh*

I have so much to do this weekend...finish reading Pride and Prejudice (about + 100 pages left), write a critical review for it, type up an outline of my Sociology project, (my partner still hasn’t called me with some discussion questions yet. Grr.) look over my math homework again, since I know I didn’t do it right, and I have to clean the house since my little sister’s birthday party is next weekend. My house...yeah, lots of work needed, lol.

And I wanted to draw more. Don’t think that’s going to happen however. But, if I work really hard, I might get extra money, and then I can afford the next Last Exile DVD! Yay! I’m kinda broke since my last shopping spree...

Of Shopping, and Another Yu-Gi-Oh Fanart
Submitted another Yu-Gi-Oh fan art, yet another Bakura. 'Dark Bakura'. Heh. Maybe I should try drawing someone else, lol.

SAT...ugg. Felt more relaxed about taking it, then I did last time. Don’t know if that means I did better on it or not.

Went shopping afterwards, bought the 4th DN Angel, the 5th and 6th CCS Master of the Clow, and a birthday gift for my little sister. Also bought the first DVD for Fushigi Yugi . It had Danielle and I in hysterics. But not because it was such a great comedy. Mostly because of the loads of cheesy anime-ish qualities I mostly associated with Sailor Moon.

But still, it did have it’s funny moments when it was supposed to be funny. Tamahome: "Are you blind? The Emperor’s a man!" Miaka:"Nuh uh". But the funniest moments were when it was a serious scene, with the sparkles drifting around the eyes and hair of the characters....I couldn’t hold in the giggles.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the manga Fushigi Yugi . But the anime....well, it was a great stress reliever, I’ll say that.

The next volume of Last Exile came out today!!! Don’t have it yet, but I will!! Can’t wait!!!

   Yu-Gi-Oh Fanart, And The SAT
Submitted two Yu-Gi-Oh pictures today. One of Yami Bakura and one of Bakura. Both pics have defects that I couldn’t get right. *sigh* Oh well.

Instead of drawing, I should have been studying for the SAT that’s tomorrow. Oops. But drawing is much more fun. ^^;

After the SAT I’m going shopping with Danielle. Yay, that should help us recover from the stress of the horrible test. I’ll buy mangas!

Heh....I should go study now....

Certain People Should Be Hit With A Baseball Bat
OMG. I hate people.

I know I just posted, but that was before I noticed this.

Okay, I don’t hate all people. But people that go look at my fanart and then vote down nearly every picture- them I hate. With a passion. I want to hunt them down....

So now my artist ranking is 69% and it was 81%. Nice decline there, all in one day. Why would someone do that to me??? I don’t have enough votes to be in the top 10, so it’s not like I was threatening their postion or anything. Even if I was, that is no justification.

Jerks. Just because they feel insecure about their position they mark down other people’s art. I know this has happened to other people, like Dark Cloud. Grr.

I feel like crying now. :’(

I have a Sociology test, a Brit Lit quiz and an Algebra II quiz tomorrow. So far, only really studied for sociology. Oh dear. It’s going to be a looong night.

Of Ill Turned Greetings, Fan Art, And New Avatars
Taya: "Do you hear chanting?"
Tristin: "Let’s go check it out!"
Bakura: "But why?"
-Yu-Gi-Oh! Episode ‘The Night Before’

I made two greetings in Photoshop at school. Sadly, only one completed greeting is up. The second one is up but not completed, lol, because I accidently uploaded the wrong image.

So one is just a picture, without any words to make it a greeting. I contacted the myOtaku administration, and asked them to delete it. Hopefully they will. ^^;

I like my new avatar. Bakura is so adorable. He’s the main reason I watched Yu-Gi-Oh, lol. I want to see the episode that the picture came from, looks like an interesting one.

Submitted my fan art of Audrey. I think it turned out well.

   Almost Finished...
“Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun, it shines everywhere.” -William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night

I actually got to draw yesterday and today. But there is a conspiracy against me drawing...

Last night I was starting the sketch and watching Gilmore Girls (Michel is the only character worth watching now, since everyone else is going through love life troubles *yawn*) when the power goes out. I just sat there holding my pencil thinking ‘No way. This can’t be happening’ but it did. And the power didn’t come back until around 6:30 this morning.

So I drew a little at school today, during my free period. And drew more while I watched M*A*S*H at home. Yay! I drew something!

Almost finished the sketch of Audrey, just have to add the finishing touches and then I’ll post it.

I have to sign up to vote in the upcoming election. *sigh* I was looking at that oh-so-nice form I have to fill out, and thought that it could wait until tomorrow. But I will fill it out! *pumps fist into air*

Need To Schedule In Some Drawing Time...
Audrey Rocio Ramirez

I’m afraid I’m going through withdraw. My religion notebook has been under attack from my pen, frantically drawing random anime-ish faces all over the place. The teacher has to wonder when he looks at my notes. Especially since most of the faces have “ACK!” expressions.

I have no time to draw! Last year I drew a lot of my Last Exile stuff during study hall, or between classes, or during art class. Now my study hall is taken up by computer graphic work, and I have no art class this semester.

Ugg. I’ve been having this craving to draw Clopin from HoND, and now Audrey from ‘Atlantis The Lost Empire’ has joined the club.

I. Need. To. Draw. Very, very soon, or I’m going to explode. The sad thing is when I’m home, I have homework. Then I watch TV, or read, or serf the internet, and am to tired to draw anything during these periods of ‘free time’. Also I lack any inclination to draw when I’m home. It seems only when I’m at school do I have these cravings, hence the manic doodling on my innocent notebooks.

Bah. I think I’m just a lazy bum, and only feel like drawing when I’m bored, which explains why I only want to draw when I’m at school.

Maybe as soon as I’m caught up with computer graphics I’ll start drawing during study hall and my free period.

Whoa. Lateness. Night all.
