Ciao!
I’m back. ^-^ I arrived home on the 28th, but I was so tired. Then I spent the next day relaxing, sketching and watching all the new anime that was on Comcast Anime Network. But today I have to start getting back into my normal schedule...except that I woke up around 5:00 in the morning and couldn’t go back to sleep...stupid time difference...

Italy was...hmm, there’s not one word that can describe it, really. Beautiful comes close. Lol, I can’t tell you about my whole trip in one post, so I’ll be talking about it every time I post for awhile. I took a lot of pictures. Haven’t loaded them on the computer yet though.

I think my favorite city was Venice, but our first day there was the same day we arrived in Italy and all of us were badly jet lagged. We trudged around, following the guide, not really hearing anything she said. Lol, our first meal in Italy was McDonalds. I so needed that icecream. But we got our first culture shock, lol, at least Sarah did. She loves ice in her drinks and when she asked for some the guy looked at her like she was insane.

There were so many cool things in Venice and the one thing on my jet lagged brain was that I wanted a jester mask. There were a zillion masks around, for sale and being worn by people you paid to have your picture taken with.

Well, that’s all I’ll post for now. It’s 6:41 and I’m hungry for breakfast...and coffee (I liked the coffee in Italy, though they don’t seem to use a lot of sugar). I’ll submit a pic of Satoshi (DNAngel) later on today.

“Innocents Abroad” Indeed.
Posted an original character pic...I was obviously influenced by the GW style when I drew him, lol. Came out alright, except he has no real forehead...which is not the GW style, lol, that’s an oversight on my part. ^^;

Tomorrow at 4:00 I’ll be on a plane on my way to Italy. *still isn’t comprehending this* This trip will be my first time out of the country. ^^ I’ll be back on the 28th, but, lol, probably badly jet lagged.

I’m going to take so many pictures...Maybe I can put some up here. :)

I’m rather paranoid about losing my passport, lol. And my money. ^^; That would suck. Ah well, unless I do something really stupid nothing bad like that should happen. Heh, I have a feeling that my friend and I’s mere presence will sink Venice, or topple the Leaning Tower of Pisa. And she’s very (very very) accident prone...I’ve got to keep her away from edges of tall buildings...and from falling out of gondolas...and from being run over by mopeds...

Thanks for all the well wishing comments on my last post. ^-^ I’ll miss you guys, lol, but I’ll only be gone for 8 days. I’m sure I’ll have a lot to talk about when I get back.

Invasion of the Inuyasha-Chibi Plushies.
[Fan art update: in the past few days I have submitted 2 GW pics]

Today-*looks at clock* Ahem. Yesterday was interesting. Well, in comparison to the last few anyway. Went shopping, for cloths and graduation presents for some friends. Went to the book store and was bad, I bought the Gundam Wing manga (for me), that was based on the movie. It was the only GW manga they had there, besides a book on the mechs of the show, goshdarnit.

Visiting Suncoast is always fun. I always feel like I belong there. Lol, when I walked in they had Star Wars playing, and a customer, who must have been around 30, was chatting to the cashier about how Luke got the missile into the Death Star. Like I said, the belonging-ness.

I bought a Kyo plushie (not for me, lol, though I wanted him) and some Happy Bunny mints (also not for me) and was waiting at the register when the Star Wars guy pointed at me and said “I have that poster.” For a couple seconds I had no idea what he was talking about but then I realized he was pointing at my ‘What I Learned From Video Games’ T-shirt.

When the cashier started ringing my stuff up he tried to get me to buy an Inuyasha plushie, I told him if I was buying for myself I would, but I was buying presents at the moment. He made the toy ask me to take it home, then explained that the store was being invaded by them, “they keep sending them!”. Then another worker picked up another Inuyasha plushie and made it start moving around, asking me and my sister to buy it.

After I payed for my stuff my sister and I were on our way out when the Star Wars Guy started talking to the workers about my shirt. So they asked me to let them read it. So I stood there, at the exit of the store, while the Suncoast staff gathered around me and read my shirt. It’s the little things in life, ya know?

Sorry about the long post, and me not visiting sites that much. I’ve been online sporadically. I’ll be in Italy from the 20th to the 28th, and I’ve been busy getting ready. I hope to post one more time before I go, but if I don’t: Arrivederci. ;)

I Need Air...
Ugg. It’s so hot. Our AC isn’t working. The air conditioner-fixer man hasn’t arrived yet...bleh. All the fans are on. Kinda loud.

Submitted another GW pic, but chibis. Not the chibi-style I did before though. Lol, it was inspired by the scene in an early ep were Heero resets his leg, and Duo watches and starts freaking out. Heh, funny that the “God of Death” would get sickened by that.

Anyway. Expect some more GW fan art, have one in the making already. Sadly, it kinda sucks at the moment, since I drew it without a reference (well, for the last two pics I didn’t really have a reference either, except a standard pic of the characters, so I knew basically what they looked like). I might be able to save it, but it won’t be anything phenomenal, lol.

Hey...I think hear the AC-man! Yes!!!

Still don’t feel like a high school graduate. -_-

Two Pics Up
Submitted 2 pics, one of Duo (Gundam Wing), and one of Hatsuharu (Fruits Basket) I just read the 8th manga, and there was a scene with Haru I just had to try drawing. So, I drew it. Turned out fine. I have a hard time drawing those characters for some reason though, so I’m happy I got it to turn out alright.

The pic of Duo I thought up when I read somewhere that Duo once said that the only god he believed in was Shinigami (god of death). When he was asked why he said because he’d seen a lot of people die, but never a miracle. What with his past with the Church, I just found that interesting. It took a long time to shade...lol, my fingers were all graphite-y from the pencil. I just realized that the scythe looks like a plant leaf. Whoops. ^^; Metallic objects are not my strong suit.

I’ve now seen 1-4 eps of Gundam Wing now. Maybe # 5 too, but I was half asleep at the time (watched them at Drea’s house, after got back from after prom party). Lol, loved Heero: “I’ll kill you”. Poor Relena. Cracked me up though.

Still hasn’t hit me that I don’t have any high school left. Probably won’t until after my trip to Italy (a school trip). Or, lol, my first day of college.

It’s Hard To Clap With A Carnation In Your Hand
It really is. Graduated today (well, since it’s around 1:00, yesterday). Guess that means I passed math, lol.

Prom and the after party were more fun then I’d thought they’d be. Lol, I was on a sugar high at prom, the drinks they had were gooooood. The sugar high helped me keep my mind off of the fact that my toes were killing me (evil shoes of death).

I was late for graduation...lol. Well, I got there past the time the graduates were supposed to be there, to get ready. Got there as my class was listening to the principal’s speech, right before we went into the service. I was rather stressed out and pissed off at a certain parental unit. But when I got there, Ms. Post, the librarian saw me and she didn’t yell or anything (not that I expected her to, but she would have had a right to be upset with me), she was very nice and talked soothingly to me, lol. Thank God. I would have started balling then if she had handled me differently. I started crying/laughing (maniacally) a bit when I got in line with my class and Danielle asked me if I was insane (for being that late). Then Erica, Danielle, Julie, and Katie were like “Don’t cry! It’s okay! You’re here now.” So after a couple seconds I was okay. Whew.

Then we preceded into the church, and did the whole graduation thing. When they gave us our diploma covers (keeping the real diplomas for later, for ransom to keep everyone behaving well) they gave out a carnation, which made clapping difficult. Poor little flower, kinda got banged around.

Blah blah blah...pretty much standard graduation procedure after that. I got a lot of money (gotta save that for my trip) and, lol, cooking supplies. And a coffee maker, and a toaster...stuff like that. For my apartment (my college doesn’t have dorms...)

Okay, could write more, but don’t want to bore you to death (if I haven’t already). I’m going to submit some fan art today (after I go to sleep for the night, lol.) Just wanted to get this up while it was still fresh in my mind. I still don’t feel like a high school grad though. -_- I wonder when it will hit me.

Perhaps A New Obsession
Just watched “Endless Waltz”. I liked it. ^-^ Which is weird, because you would of thought I’d be too confused, having never seen an ep of Gundam Wing in my life. But I still enjoyed it. The most interesting characters I thought were Mariemaia, Duo, and Quatre . I checked out the old Gundam Wing site here at myO, and learned more about the story and characters. Quatre is Arabian? Huh. Lol, and Duo is American. Found that funny for some reason.

Sketched a pic of Relena and Mariemaia, where the little girl takes the bullet meant for Relena. Very simple sketch (quickly drawn while I had the movie on pause) I might make it into something (meaning color it, or play with it in a program) later, then I’ll post it. I couldn’t draw the bullet, because I don’t know where it hit her, lol. I thought her chest, but she’s in a wheelchair in the end of the movie, so, I guess her leg?

Drew a LE chibi/Powerpuff/South Park-ish pic of Vincent. Gotta color that...I posted a pic of Mullen and Lavie yesterday in that style.

Prom is tomorrow. Bleh. Ah well. I’m going, I’ll regret it later in life if I don’t. Well, probably. Could be fun. I guess. Got a dress, and shoes. I’m going to end up falling into the harbor, those shoes are deadly, though I got the most sensible ones I could find.

I’ve been drawing and writing up a storm this week...lol, a lot of fan fiction. Around 3 in the morning. ^^; Gotta get back to regular sleeping hours though, with Prom tomorrow, Baccalaureate Friday, and Graduation Saturday. Geez, I’m going to be busy.

I have the song “Helena”, by My Chemical Romance, stuck in my head...

Wow...I’ve been busy...and I’m afraid my online persona has suffered. I haven’t responded to any e-mail, or updated any journals, or visited any sites for awhile...Sorry about that. But I’ve been busy with finishing off high school. I haven’t graduated yet, but I don’t have any more classes or exams. Until college. Weird...

Posted two pics yesterday, one of Fai drawn in the Tsubasa anime style, and I resubmitted the pic of Douji, because I noticed one eye was higher then the other. So fixed that, and added a background. I’m working on some original stuff, and a pic of Fai in the Tsubasa movie style (www.holic-tsubasa.com ). I also submitted a crappy pic of Kikyo today, that I drew months and months ago, and have been periodically coloring in Photoshop ever since. But now that I no longer have access to Photoshop (been illegal using school’s program, if you remember) I decided it was finished. But I don’t like it much. -_- Hmm, to offset that icky feeling I’m going to submit another chibi-ish LE pic....

I have other stuff that I scrounged up from my files at school, and I’ll probably be submitting them sometime.

Has anyone heard anything about Tim Burton’s newest animated movie, Corpse Bride? (www.corpsebridemovie.com) Coming in September...can’t wait. ^^ Johnny Depp is one of the voice actors. *giggles inanely*

Oh, yeah, Star Wars. Huzzah-ness. Not better then the originals by any stretch of the imagination (what was that one newspaper thinking?), but much better then the 2 previous ones. Thank God. So go see it, if you haven’t, Yoda is worth it.

Three New Pics, & Questions About An OVA.
Just watched “Kai Doh Maru”. Was so very confused. And I watched it on Stars, so I didn’t have all the DVD extras to look at to help me. Sigh. Lol, I’m just going to keep talking about it, so if you don’t want any spoilers stop reading.

After reading several reviews on it I have finally grasped the hows and whys of the plot. But not enough. Who were the creepy children? Were they the “sacrifices” given to Onhi and Douji Ibaragi? They looked way too much like Onhi and Kintoki, when they were little kids. Was that the point? And why did Douji Ibaragi look like Kintoki? Lol, *what* was Douji Ibaragi? One review referred to him as the “the white-haired demon boy”. Lol, no, nothing like Inuyasha. “Kai Doh Maru does have its standout moments-the white-haired demon boy is suitably creepy, and his nonchalant slaughter is striking”. A hypophysis of mine is that Onhi created him to look like Kintoki, being as how she’s all obsessed with her. Figures I’d be most interested in the evil white haired guy. Lol, I even drew him.

I also submitted two other drawings of Suki, and Zuko, from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko took longer then I thought it would...that scar is hard to draw. Colored Suki with water color pencils, and I didn’t like how it turned out, so I added a Photoshop filter to it, and think it helped.

I wanna see Revenge of the Sith...got tickets for it tonight at 7:15...^__^ I think I might hyperventilate before then though.

Boo
Been awhile...well, 15 days...anyway, posted a new pic yesterday, of Nightcrawler from my favorite cartoon of all time: X-Men Evolution. I miss that show sooo much. T-T I was watching a couple eps yesterday (I have one 4 ep DVD) and it made me feel very nostalgic. I can’t believe they canceled it, there were so many things left hanging...ah well, the last episode was pretty good, what with the peeks into the future and stuff.

Is anyone else getting German e-mail? Lol. I keep getting these e-mails and they’re in German, saying something like “we are the only foreigners” and then “vintage” and then a link to somewhere (which I haven’t clicked for fear of what would happen). Kinda weird. Yahoo doesn’t mark them as spam either. Lol, it’s funny though, having just submitted a pic that has “Guten Tag” on it.

I’m really enjoying Avatar: The Last Airbender ^-^ Sokka has the best lines...and the cabbages...yeah. Might have some fanart of some of the characters soon. I actually wrote a short fluffy fan fic, but haven’t posted it at ff.net yet.

It looks like I’m only going to have 1 final exam this year. (I have an A in Brit Lit and American Law, so don’t need to take the exam) Bad thing: it’s my math final. Gar. I have only passed one math exam in my life, but my overall grade has always been enough to pass. Eh...*crosses fingers*
