   new site!

"I said on my previous post that XXXHOLiC anime would be aired on NHK Educational. It turns out that CLAMP-NET has just posted a note saying that it was a mistake to post such information. Apparently NHK is not planned to air it (good, isn't it?).

They apologize for the mistake.



The open-eyed ones could notice that today there was a new banner added at CLAMP Home Page:

Yes ! CLAMP finally learned how good Flash can be... but there's still much to learn

In my view the site is only a reason to gather more CLAMP@MOBILE users (CLAMP's service for cellphones), because all the free information you can find on their usual page and in order to see the new information you have to be a CLAMP@MOBILE member T-T

So what about the new stuff?

The new information is a private board for each CLAMP member (there are new SDs for each of them too!)... I don't know what exactly is inside the boards... but must be some private notes from the members (maybe like the ALBUM section, but one for each member?) ... also for the restricted part, wallpapers and interviews !

Waaaaaaah somebody HACK this site------! I wanna see the restricted content !

The birthday section is also back... on the page's foot there's a list with this month's charas.

Looks like the BIG news were indeed about a TV anime !

The news is confirmed

The only thing we know for now is that it's going to start broadcast on April, 2006. Nothing about Animation Studio, Channel, number of episodes or whatever.

I guess this is all everybody dreamed to happen when we first saw XXXHOLiC and Tsubasa. Both of them having their anime series !

This means: TWO CLAMP series being exhibited AT THE SAME TIME !!!
Actually, 3, since CCS's 3rd season will be broadcasted on February so this is THREE CLAMP series being exhibited.
My gooooooooosh ! I don't know much about it, if it's the first time this happens (probably not) but this is surely a rare thing to happen with a Mangaka ! CLAMP is so on the spot !

I hope very much that they can do the crossover thing very "chronical"... like, XXXHOLiC's episode get crossed with Tsubasa's on the same week, like the magazine.

And I also hope Beetrain doesn't get it... please let Production IG do it *prays* Although it may be hard to do the crossover thing with different studios

CCS has been added again to HEADLINE NEWS section since the 3rd season (episodes 47~70) will start to be re-broadcasted on February, 2006. It'll be showed on Thursday, 19:30~19:55.
Kobato:

Still no sign of Kobato ;__; *still bets for Kobato's return on December!*

Now is more than confirmed that Tsubasa Anime Season 2 will be broadcasted on April of 2006, same day and same time. It's very weird because what we are seeing right now on the manga, we'll be seeing animated in exactly one year (even less, actually).

Now, that worries me a bit... you all saw how they cut the drunk scenes from Tsubasa anime... As the name says, NHK Educacional is an educacional televison... with a very restrict content. I don't know how far this may go with XXXHOLiC... but I'm scared of what they can do with Yuuko's love for drink or her fancy cigarettes

New Expo for American people !

Starting on October 26th and ending on May of 2006, the exposition called Power of Girl's Comics: What Can Shoujo Manga Tell You? will be held in some US Universities. It's an exposition about Shoujo Manga and of course, CLAMP's works will be there.
NOT CLAMP themselves (nothing has been said about it). I also don't know if the works are original ones (drawn by CLAMP), but provably yes or else it would be pointless.
This is the event official site, but is SO confusing... they don't even mention CLAMP in there and there are no pics of any of their works at all (not that I found, at least).
So if you are american, take a look at it and maybe you'll have the luck to see some CLAMP originals !!!"

   Old clamp stuff!

"Old CLAMP One-shot

This is for the BIG CLAMP fans: Today I bring you two CLAMP ultra rarities !



Of what?

See? It's rare It's a very old CLAMP One Shot called Koi wa Tenka no Mawarimono.

It was first published on a magazine called Serie on the year of 1990 !

You'll see a boy very familiar to us, since it's a love story about the sister of our dear Masayoshi, Mayumi.

The story is, of course, by Ohkawa, and the comic by Mokona

The whole thing has 45 pages You can download it HERE.

It was published in September 1990, or so the Clamp News 1 says, in Hakusensha's Serie magazine, October issue. This magazine seems to have been a monthly one, it was closed less than a year later. This is the first
and only time the story was published. It seems Clamp was supposed to write other short stories in this magazine, to make a tankoubon of short stories, but their publisher couldn't place them anywhere else after the
Serie was closed and their contract aborted.

   cathing upp

"So, I checked Shogakukan's scheduled comics to be released on November and guess what? Kobato is not in there *cries* What the hell is going on?
1st, it says that XXXHOLiC has reached the number of 4 million mangas sold !!!! Woa (BTW, Tsubasa did 8 million).

2nd and most important, it says that some BIG NEWS are to be announced on the belt attached to volume 7, to be released on the next 17th !

OMG could it be a new movie? Or maybe an anime??? Just more 10 days and we'll find out ! Remembering that the 1st announcement for the movie was also made around this time, last year."

   CLAMP & HP News !!

"Still no Kobato news... only that the CLAMP Su goodies will be on sale from October 14th on Animate stores.

I'm assuming that the series will resume itself on December, on Sunday GX January edition, when the series completes 1 year of publication (already? omg and there's only 1 tank out there, I know).
Kobato has a really weird system... we'll see...

The CLAMP Su goodies for Tsubasa will also be on sale on Animate on October 14th, since the CLAMP Su event has now ended, in case you don't know

The 4th DVD for the anime series (containing episodes 11~14) will be out on November 25th heres the pic

   NEW THEME!

new theme!
well i changed my theme finally! its now kobato! a clamp theme that not too many people know about, except REAL clamp fans! but i tell you guys about it all the time so you should know what it is!(by now)
but other than that i dont have too much news for you!
im planning pn getting the rest (volumes 8-12) of clamp no kiseki this november!
but heres a cute picture waaay back from tsubasa chapter 83!

   xXxHolic and some others

well i just looked through the xxxholic movie fan guide! i really want to see that movie! and the tsubasa movie! i bet they cross over or something you know? well the xxxholic movie been out for a while so i doubt that it is still in theaters! buts that also good news because that means that its closer to coming out on video fro us to download and watch!

i do have a little confession i dont think that we will be able to watch the clamp video interview that i had promissed! i dont know what happened but i cant acess it nor can i watch it, but hey! atleast we saw some pictures! and we knew about it!

i love clamp-nets new look! but i dont know where anything is on this computer! everything says ????????????????????????
on my computer it has the japanese marks so its less confusing.
