#499 baby!

Thanks to all of you, my site is now in the top 500! (#499 to be exact.) Of course, that number could go up and down, but the fact still remains that I made it!
Now, as a special offer, if there's anything you wish to ask of me image-wise, I'll be happy to comply. Just leave a request in a comment or PM me. ^_^ Thanks again guys!

You know that "Anime Event" I went to? Well, they were passing out flyers for the Sakura-Con in March; Ducky, Adam (my sister's friend) and I all agreed that we want to go. And for this, we want to cosplay! I've decided what I want to go as: a member of HOLY (Scryed)! Just a general member, not a specific character, I don't look like anyone from that series...
^^ Oooh! I can't wait until I have cash to start working on it!

That's all for today, just a quick update. Ta my monkies!

Sexy no Jutsu, Kakashi style!

I made this for one of the forums I go to:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Heheh, couldn't help myself. I liked that idea so much, I changed my avatar to it. v^.^ Teh awesomeness!

Well, I'm sick. Yes, it sucks like always. At least I don't have to work out!
... then again, I'd rather work out then have a cold. Geez, I always get sick right when I just got used to breathing through my nose! My dentist is always getting at me for that. But, tisn't my fault! Stupid cold, always ruining my breathing through the nose-ness...

At least I was able to go to an anime-con type place with my sister and her friend Adam before I got sick. The reason I say "con type" is because it wasn't really a convention. It was an "Anime Event". A really dinky one at that, but it was still fun. There were some cosplayers, and I would've dressed up, but no costumes for Monkey. Le sigh...
It was nice of the people organizing the event to provide free food. Well, paying $20 to get in (and leave whenever you want and still be able to come back), we better get free food!
Anyway, like I said, it was a fun event. I bought some pretty cool stuff: a big Kakashi plushie (ahhh yeah! v^.^), a Tenchi Muyo wallscroll, an Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist) keychain, a Chouji (Naruto) mini keychain, and a Haro plushie (like from Gundam Seed). Heh, I just love all of that stuff! The Haro plushie is the same kind that Lacus is always carrying around, and that just tickles me pink.

Now, let me explain the Chouji keychain thing. At the event, they had some TVs set up so people could watch anime or play video games. On one of them, people were playing Naruto: Gekitou Taissen 3, and I got the chance to play it a couple times. If anyone has ever played as Chouji on that game, then you must know he rocks! All I had to do was roll around like a fatso, and I beat this 5 year-old girl who actually had skill. XD The game reminded me a lot of Dragonball Z: Budokai actually...
Anyway, yeah. After playing that game, I just had to get that Chouji keychain; he's teh awesome in my mind now.

So, yeah. I guess that's it. I could say more, but it would just be boring if I did.
Well, of course, after going to that and spending all that money, then hearing about the earthquake in Pakistan, I felt incredibly selfish. That's because I am. XP

One new wallpaper since my last update. Tis another one for Record of Lodoss War. I really like it! Now, to make Ducky a Kagome wallpaper...
I hope you guys had a nice day.

Record of Lodoss MADNESS!

Today, Monkey has quite the tale to tell. Gather round my puppets--
Errrr! o.o Friends. Yes, well...

Earlier today, while checking my site and wallpapers on here, I suddenly decided to go to eBay and browse for items. That's never good, at least not for my savings account.
And, I found it. The complete Record of Lodoss War series; not just the OVA, but the TV series as well. *skips and prances and dances around!* Gosh, I've been wanting that anime for awhile now. All the episodes too, not just a few.
So, of course, I had to get it! Later, when Mom and I were on our way to work out, I told her about the item I wanted, and proposed that I work off the cost of it. I even suggested things I could do before she agreed; taking the trash out (more than once), dumping cat litter (more than once >.<), dusting the whole house (only once).
Of course she said yes. I mean, how could she not? I was willing to do more chores for about $20.

... yeah, this is the first time I've done this. I wonder if I'll drop back on the chore-idea again? Most likely, yes.
Oh, and the Record of Lodoss DVDs cost $42.99 total. Not bad, considering that there're forty episodes.
So, almost in celebration of the fact that I will soon have the entire anime, I have made a Record of Lodoss War wallpaper. I must say, it's not half bad. It's more than half bad, it's gashsplurned good! I hope people will like it, the few that'll end up downloading it anyway. XP

And so, I leave you now to watch DBZ. Ta, my darlings! We shall meet again...

It's official!

^^ We're going to California for my sister's birthday, WHOOOO! By "we" I mean my mother, sister and I. Gosh, it's going to be great. The whole reason we want to go is to see our friends, the Wallings. We'll be staying there five days, in December. I think that'll do. XP This is pretty much my sister's whole birthday package, but I don't think she minds.
Gosh, it's been awhile since I was in California. The whole family went down there to visit a few years ago, but it wasn't very long. And back then I was taller than all my friends, so now I'll be a giant comparatively! lol

Earlier today, I was thinking about the manga, Chronicles of the Cursed Sword. It's a pretty good manga, but I think it would be even cooler in anime form! I can just imagine it now, it'd be awesome! I even went so far to think that if I ever could, I would make it into an anime (with lots of help, of course).
>.> Yeah, just a random thought.

In other news, I actually made some new wallpapers! One Cardcaptor Sakura and one Tsubasa; they're decent, I suppose. I like the CCS one better. I guess since less people have been updating, I have more time to make wallpapers. Tis a good thing.

Ta my monkies!

v^.^v No subject, wheeeee!

I wrote the Beowulf essay, YAY! Twas easy too, since I had already written down some ideas. Hopefully, my mom will like it as much as I did. o.o

Did I tell you about the creative journal we have to keep this year? Where we write down our thoughts and summaries about books we're reading? Well, I had to print out what I had on Beowulf for mom. I must ask... why? I didn't know she would have to read it! CRAP! I would've worked harder on those summaries then. >.<
Oh well, tis too late. It's just a journal thing, though. Will our grade really depend on it?

I saw Corpse Bride Saturday with my brother and sister. It was pretty good; personally, I liked Nightmare Before Christmas better. And yet... *sniff*... my siblings liked the other movie more! How could they betray Jack Skellington? Outrageous!!

Alright, alright... breathe in... breathe out...

Okay, all better! ^^ My, I am ever so hyper today. Maybe 'cause Seena won the obedience trial and the championship disc competition. Ahhh, I'm so proud of my virtual pup. Cutest li'l husky ya ever did see!

Well, no new wallpapers or greetings. Maybe later today, or tomorrow. Depends.
But! You can go ahead and look at what I have in wallpapers right now. They're not so bad, really.

...

o.o

Please believe me!!! Have mercy! *faints*

Beowulf!

Today, I have to write a five-paragraph essay on the book Beowulf. We've been reading it this week, and it has been interesting, but... I'm not sure where to start on the essay. Rather, I don't know how to finish it. Technically, I already started, but now I don't know what to do next. Any advice? (It really shouldn't be too hard to do this, it's only five paragraphs. >.>)

So, school hasn't been so bad the past couple of days. Not so much that I want to scream. lol Although we're doing a bunch of graphing in math, it's not terrible. It's pretty easy, I just don't like graphs. XP I don't like much, do I?
And, like I mentioned, Beowulf was pretty interesting. You can compare a lot of events in that book to events in the Bible. If you've read both, you'll know what I mean.
Then, there's this book called Word Power Made Easy, another book that's trying to increase our vocabulary. And, of course, understand the words themselves. Well, I read that book yesterday, and it was actually fun. The way they go about doing it is... cool, I guess is the right word.
^_^ I guess this year won't be so bad after all.
(Oh, by the way, my TV still works, but I can't use the VCR anymore. I'm not complaining though. XP)

Now, for theOtaku news. I've made two Tsubasa wallpapers in the past couple of days, and one Kurogane greeting today. I really like the wallpaper I made today (which is now my background). I was messing around, and that came out! Isn't it awesome? (In fact, that's how I made the other new wallpaper...) The Kurogane greeting is this one design I like right now, which I first made as a banner on the Hitsuzen forum. Hopefully, people will actually send it. o.o I dunno, there are some cool Kuro-greetings out there.
Finally, I deleted a few people from my friend's list yesterday. Not as many as I thought I would, but some. If you're going to be on my friend's list, you have to actually stay in contact with me! If you can't do that, then bye-bye.

I hope your day has been a good'un. Ta!

School... w00t...

School has started for me now, and so far, I really don't like it. This year, we're concentrating mainly on English (writing and all that crap), and I hate English. I'm not good at it, and... I just plain don't like it. >.<
So, all I have to really look forward to is Algebra. Except for the fact that the stupid tape got jammed in my VCR. *sighs* We've tried getting it out, even my dad, and it's just not happening. Dad said he might even have to take it apart. And since the VCR is part of my TV, Monkey won't be able to watch TV late at night.
Ahh well, things could be worse, I shouldn't complain. But still, school is not lookin' good this year.

Yesterday was AnimeChick4DDR's birthday (her sweet sixteen even!), and since I forgot about it, I made her a Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne wallpaper as a small present. XP I don't think she's seen it yet, I sent her a PM with the link to it though. I've never seen that series, but she really likes it, so I hope she also likes the wallpaper. *crosses fingers*

Not much else to say, really. I started re-watching the Tsubasa anime... again. And, seeing the Hanshin Republic part wasn't so bad this time around. The first two times I really didn't like it, because I compared it to the manga. This time however, I tried my best not to, and it worked! I actually found myself enjoying it. Weird, no? But, I still miss Primela's fans. Also, her voice is really annoying...

Well, maybe I'll go watch some more Tsubasa after this, since I might not be going to the gym today. Not a bad trade-off at all!
Hope you had a nice day, or at least decent.

Puppies, so cute!

Kyle finally did it. He convinced me to get the Nintendogs game for the DS. He'd been bugging me about that for quite awhile, and... he won. T_T Why do I feel gullible?
Thing is, I didn't even have a DS until today. Yeah, so with the DS and the game, I spent $174 today. Quite a bit, huh? If you consider how much a DS used to be, and how much I spent on mine ($130), it's not too bad. >.> Still, I had to dip into my Christmas funds. Oh well, Kyle just won't get as great a gift this year. XP
But... the puppies are adorable! I got a Siberian Husky, and her name is Seena. She's so cute! I already taught her three tricks! ^^ She's got spin down perfectly, can't wait to enter some contests with her!

Actually, the timing of this is excellent. Tomorrow, I'm going up north with Mom, Ducky and Kyle to visit Nanny and Aunt Cheryl. Not only do we have to drive a few hours, but Kyle and I will have to wait for Ducky and Mom for a little bit. Soooo, while we're waiting, our puppies can play together! ^^ So cute!
Man, I haven't been to Lynden in awhile, not since Papa died... and that was four months ago! Well, it's about time then, huh?

Oh! I got the Tsubasa anime soundtrack! *jumps* Tis so awesome, I'm listening to it right now. ^^ Hee, pretty good stuff. I'll give the anime this much, it has cool music (even if it doesn't always fit the situation). I can also bring that when I go to Lynden tomorrow... huh.

Today has been a good day for me, then. I think I'm going to go and have Seena play with Kyle's puppy, Marcus. Ta!

Just a quick update

I made a Kakashi wallpaper today, dedicated to my sister Mistress Duck. I'm surprised with how long it took me to find a good Kakashi picture! At least I finally did...
Then yesterday, I made a Bleach wallpaper. Tisn't my greatest thing ever, but... oh well, twas something after a few days of nothing, so... yeah.

I haven't really been too active on this site lately. Eheh... I joined another forum, that's why. But! This time, it's for my favorite of series, Tsubasa. So far, I haven't gotten bored, but if people don't post new threads or something, then that forum will just die, like so many before it. *sniff*
So yeah, that's kept me preoccupied the last few days. Had to make a banner and a new avatar for myself, don'tcha know. *nods* Well, for today I don't feel like posting there, so I'm trying to catch up here. I have to go to so many sites... tis been awhile since I checked 'em. Better get to that, then. And quickly, for my sister and brother want to get on, I can tell. -__-;

I hope your day has been a good one so far. Ta!

The Great Deletion

For the past hour, I've been going through my wallpapers, deleting all of the ones I thought were bad. I just couldn't stand it anymore. I was planning on this for a long time, but just didn't have the guts to do it before. So, I decided to do it tonight, before I lost my nerve. And, at the moment, I'm glad I've finally done it. Now, this will make more room for other wallpapers out there, better ones that were possibly blocked out by my crappy ones. Well, all that is done with now. Heck, even my own wallpapers should benefit from this. The only ones that are still up are those that I think are good or ones I couldn't delete because of nostalgia (ya know, ones I made when I was first getting started on here).

But, yes. A lot is gone. I'm surprised that I didn't delete more. I was expecting to delete over 100 of my wallpapers; but wow, there are still 183 left.
Earlier today, I had 262, and now, after deleting 79 wallpapers, I have 183.
Hopefully, I won't end up regretting this. From now on, this moment in time will be known as The Great Deletion.

That's all for today. Although, yesterday, I did make two .hack//SIGN wallpapers. Heh, they're pretty good too. Then again, after looking through all of my crappy wallpapers, of course anything will look good to me now!
Ta my lovelies!
