Stupid subject bar...

Welp, I'm on again. And I actually went around to everyone's sites today. To be truthful, not everyone's, but most! I shall not feel the guilt, the guilt that so many before me have felt!

Ahem...

Stuff actually happened today. Mildly interesting stuff, too. Care to hear about it? Either way, it shall be told. You might as well just accept your fate (and don't you dare click on backroom!).
For one, I went out of the house today. Yes, I really did. I had to, for you see I needed money, and I had to withdraw some from my savings account for the upcoming trip to the mall. (The fact that I actually have money in my savings account is a miracle within itself!) And dang! For some reason, I don't much like going to the bank. Nope, don't care for it. Makes me nervous, and I'm not sure why. Does anyone else feel like this? I can only hope...
Well-sy, at least I was able to get some fast food out of that trip. Too bad I also had to pay for my siblings. >.> Darn it.

Also, I was actually posting on this old forum, where I used to be quite active. In fact, that was the place I used to go to every day before theOtaku. Can you believe it? Did such a time ever exist? Seems so. Nowadays however, I only stay in contact with one of my friends on there. But today! I was actually posting in some pretty interesting debate threads, and I was talking with my friend through several PMs today (we luckily happened to be on at the same time). The place is called Anime Chains. It was my first big forum. If you find it interesting, and want to join, look up Aphelion Angel (that's me).

Oh! One last thing. One of my best friends that I originally met on that forum sent me a message today. She's so great, J-chan is. She now has a myOtaku page. Don't know how long she's had it, but... I'm so happy that I know about it now! I really love her, she's so nice. ^_^ She's also some really good wallpapers so far. If you like Gundam Seed, you should check her out. She's in my friend's list now, as MysticFlame (just couldn't help but do some advertising, heh).

Well, that's it for today. No wallpapers of my own, unfortunately. Turns out I didn't have the time tonight. Darnit, I never seem to have time for that kind of stuff anymore. I'll try to make something tomorrow, though. Ta!

Dude, I got a MySpace!

Yep, I sure did done that. But you know... by joining MySpace, I have just messed up my whole "online schedule". I must have some sort of order for everything! I must! For in that way, I am truly a monkey. I'll try to work out something, it could take awhile though. A very long while, gashsplurnit.

But yes. The fact that my eldest brother, Eric, has been spending so much time on the computer downloading who knows what doesn't help much at all. It used to be that I could spend hours on the computer, and only my sister Ducky would get mad at me. But... now. Tis nearly impossible to get on at all! Le sigh...

Maybe I should be thankful, however. Momentarily, the internet's spell over me has been broken! I can now spend my time doing useful things, like... playing video games, watching anime, that sort of stuff. I'm such a good person, really. Thinking so much about others... *sniff*

Eh, whatever. I really shouldn't complain so much. Or be so boring. Yeah... well, now that I finished watching my .hack//SIGN dvds, I'll have a bit more time for other things. I would like to finish up some stuff before I have to start school later in the month. That would certainly be nice. For one, I have a bunch of RPGs that I've started, and for me, that's a bad thing. I would like to beat at least one of those before school's start. Two: I could try and use my money for better purposes, donating it to a charity. Geez, I'm so selfish sometimes... stupid money, being so tempting and... green.

Well, don't think I've abandoned this place entirely. I did make a Nausicaa wallpaper a couple of days ago. And, surprisingly, it's already the most popular in that section. The only reason being because there aren't that many yet...

I guess that's all for now. I shall see thee when I see thee. Ta!

Money is the sweetest love

Finally, I was able to update. Dang, that took awhile. Working eight hours for twelve days really isn't a good thing, when you have a place like this to manage, and a person like me who just has to get to everyone. Blah.
And you know what I've realized? I hate checking sites. Takes forever... but I still do it. Why? Because I feel obligated to, since you guys visit me. (Well, at least seven of you do...)
And, I know it's close to the next day. Screw it. I'm tired of having to wait an extra hour, just so more people will check my site. Don't need comments, my true otaku friends will come and check my site.

Anyway...

Just got my first paycheck today from the fair. Pretty fast, huh? This year's system was much better than the past two, as far as getting paid goes. Not only am I making more money this year, I'm also getting it sooner, just in two smaller checks, instead of one huge one (and no, I don't mean actual size, talkin' about the amount of money).

I wonder... should I even try to talk about my experience at the fair? Twould take a very long time. I could try to summarize it, but too much happened to really do that.
Let's just say:

The work sucked. People are so stupid...

My co-workers were nice enough. Except one, Mark. The idiot for this year. That may sound mean, but... you gotta see this guy to understand. Complete moron. (Plus, doesn't help I'm in a not-so-happy mood.)

I hate F-150's, 250's, and 350's. WAY too big for a car, I say. Ever try parking one of those monsters? Tis an unnecessary size for anything. (Curses on all who own one!)

I have now met someone who is more of a geek than I am. My supervisor, Jason. He is truly the definition of geek. Which makes him all the more fun.

I will definitely be going back next year. The money and the people are just too irresistable.

And... I guess that does it. Wow. Wasn't as hard as I thought.
Now that I don't have work to go to every day, I'm kind of bored. But just wait till my .hack//SIGN DVDs get here! Yes, I ordered the complete series. It should come tomorrow. Gosh, I can only hope it comes then! I'm going to die soon if it doesn't.
I also ordered the second volume of the Tsubasa anime. That should come next week. Plenty of time to watch all of .hack//SIGN. Heheh.

Now, in wallpaper business, I have submitted four new ones in the past 48 hours. Two of them are actually good, too!
I ask that every .hack fan please look at my .hack//SIGN wallpaper! I made it last night, took me at least three hours to make, was up till 2:50 am...
Please, take pity on me, and leave a comment! I must know what you think, for if I don't soon... I shall truly die inside! *swoon*

F-350's suck ass

Alright, I'm keepin' this short...

Work's over.

I'm tired.

I made a Tsubasa wallpaper.

And I shall be sitting for a long time to come. No standing for me!

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning fairy princess!

Yes... I finally did it. I cleaned my room. Oh, not just vacuuming! The whole kit and kaboodle. I not only vacuumed, but dusted, cleaned out the junk in my closet, put all the stuff on my floor in its proper place, and got rid of all the clothes I never wear anymore! Oh my gosh. If you were to see my room now, after having seen it before, you wouldn't recognize it. Or... maybe you would, but it'd still look amazing!
And, after cleaning my room, I still had laundry to do. For you see, I need jeans for when I start work at the fair tomorrow. But, I had none previously. So, now you see my now nonexistent dilemma.
All that's left now, as far as chores goes, is dishes. Whooo, fantastic. Dang, I hate doing dishes. Like I've said before, it's not that hard, but anything will get annoying once you do it often enough.

Don't think I wasn't just cleaning things, though. I also went to the grocery store with my brother Kyle to get stuff for dinner. I did this of my own free will, though; no one forced me to go. I think the only reason I went was 'cause I wanted some Twix. I've been craving those chocolaty delights for the longest time. (It's been more like a few days, really.)
I shan't bore you with the details about the store. I was, however, able to get some Twix bars! SCORE! But, when Kyle and I went to buy everything, there was a huge line of people, leading up to the only open register! That's so horrible, that should never happen. Luckily, soon after we got in line, a couple more registers opened. Thank goodness, we would've been there forever otherwise!

And... really, that was the highlight of my day. The only other frustration I experienced was I had to wait quite awhile before I could get on the computer. My other brother Eric was on for 4 hours! Geez... all he ever does online is listen to music. *sighs* It's really all my fault, though. I'm the one that showed him how to download mp3s. T_T Boy, do I feel special.
I should just be thankful that I could get on at all. Well, I am, but it sure doesn't sound like it right now.

And that's the end of all that happened in the real world today! How about a look at what's up in myOtaku life?
Yesterday, I made a greeting card that's actually quite popular. Last I checked, it was sent 16 times. If you decide to go see it, be warned! Tis very weird. I was quite hyper when I made it. Here's a hint: it involves monkeys.
Now, for wallpapers, I made a Hellsing one for ShadowFaint Zero yesterday, and a Rurouni Kenshin one today for Yume sama. And man! That Kenshin one took me forever to make. It better look good, gashsplurnit! (I'm biased, I'll never think it good, so... XP)
And finally, I was actually able to visit all my friends' sites. Amazing, isn't it?

Now, I must go to bed early, for I must work tomorrow. I'll say this once more: I will most likely not be able to get to everyone during the fair. So, for twelve days, don't expect a visit from me. I'll try to get on at least twice, but I can't say for sure.
Ta, my monkies!

~God Bless~

[P.S. For those who are wondering, turns out that the reason the keyboard was being screwy the other day was because the batteries were low. Eheh... at least it wasn't a virus!]

Rally Ho!

I'm back! After a four-day absence from myOtaku, I have finally returned. And, I just now finished getting to all of your sites. Dang, it took me quite awhile, at least a couple of hours. I suppose that's what I deserve...
T_T So much for my "plan"...

Man, my computer's being screwy right now. When I type, it keeps messing it up. It's not that I'm going too fast for it, my computer just sucks. I'm thinking it might be a virus, so I'm scanning for any right now. I hope that's not it, though it's very possible, since I keep getting emails from people I don't know. It's starting to creep me out. No matter how many times I block the sender, or delete the emails, they keep sending them. I dunno what else to do...
I’m sure I’ll come up with something... eventually...

Well, other than playing FFIX, I have actually been making wallpapers. Only two, but still; tis better than nothing, right?
One for Trigun a couple of days ago, then one Record of Lodoss War wallpaper today. Dang, that section is so empty. Such a shame, it's a pretty cool series too. Hmmmm, maybe I'll make a greeting card for that hub, while I'm at it...
Still working on wallpaper dedications, by the way. It's more work than I thought it'd be. It's worth it, though. To make good wallpapers just for you guys is fun. ^_^

I better get to work on those dedications, too. The Washington state fair starts this Thursday, and once it does start... I'll have very little time to get on. Kind of stinks, but the money is so worth it! Monkey's gonna be buyin' anime like crazy!
This year, I'll be an "Auto Lot Attendant." Basically, I'll point people to where they need to park. And apparently, people don't like it when you do that. Must prepare myself to get cussed at and flipped off. Geez, people are so rude...

I gotta end this post now. Stupid computer is getting worse, I can barely type all this! Ta peoples.

Ugh... x.x I feel sick...

Monkey isn't feeling good. In fact, Monkey feels sick. Not because of a cold, oh no! It's because I just reported 8 or so stolen wallpapers, all in the Scryed hub. It's sickening! This site really deserves better than to have people like that on here!
The worst part was, all the plagiarized wallpapers are some of the most popular on this site. I can't believe it.
Of course, I could be wrong, and they didn't steal it; just submitted it to two sites. I dunno... if that's true, they should've said something! *sighs* Man, this has ruined my whole day... I need a pick-me-up. T.T

Anyway, if you've been wondering where I was the past couple of days, I've been holed up in my room playing FFIX. Maybe I'll play some more after dinner, that might make me feel better.
To sort of make up for the past couple of days, I got around to everyone's sites and submitted a wallpaper, a Kouga one for chubbi chibies. I hope you like it.

You know, I had a thought just now. Even though my wallpapers aren't fantastic, at least they're not stolen! Geez...
I'm going to stop myself now, before I make any of you feel bad.

I hope your day has been better than mine. Ta.

Space backgrounds are teh awesome

Have you noticed that space-type backgrounds go with any anime picture? Just something I noticed...
Anyway, notice any changes? I switched out my old space background with a pretty new one! *pets the pretty-ness* And... o.o my avatar doesn't match it at all. Oh well, I love it! Matches me perfectly. (Stick figures are so fashionable, no?)

Moving on... I've decided on something. I'm going to try and get in the habit of viewing myO sites and updating mine one day, then making wallpapers the next. That way, with this system, I'll be able to make wallpapers more often and still check all my friends' sites! I know I don't have to, but I want to get to y'all. You're all nice people, and most of you visit my site from time to time, so... tis natural, really.
Well, now I'm just goin' on!

I made three wallpapers yesterday. Yes, you read it right, three. Two for Scryed (HOLY! w00t!) and one for .hack//SIGN. Thought I should make up for when I was on vacation. They're all pretty cheap ones, but they still look good, trust me!
Please trust me! I beggeth thee!

...

Ahem. You can tell by now that I'm in a weird mood. Deal with it for now, it's almost over!
[Or is it?!]

I started Final Fantasy IX the other day. So far, tis fun. I'm only at the Ice Cavern, not very far into the game just yet.
The CG videos are awesome, though. I mean, this game is what? Five, six years old? Yet it still looks great (to me anyway). Older games are fun too, darnit!

I added two more people to my friends' list today. Heh, that makes me happy! I don't do that often, after all. Because most people will sign my guestbook, then never comment. I don't like that. See, for those who don't know yet, if someone comes to my site, I expect them to keep coming back, not just sign the guestbook. Otherwise, how can I consider them a friend? Once someone comments, however, I will go to their site and add them, and see what happens from there. So, if you're here right now, wondering why I haven't come to your site yet, you now know why. Just comment, and I shall go!

... yeah, still being weird. I'm pretty much done though. But, I feel like I'm forgetting to mention something...
Oh well. I must be off! A blackberry smoothie awaits me. Ta!

Back... with a vengeance!

Hola! I'm finally back from vacation. How've you been, chicos?
I'm sure you're all just dying to know how I've been the past week. Oh my... where to begin?

As far as the flights go... they sucked. There's nothing to be afraid of, but it just sucks. Totally bored out of my mind the whole time, on all four flights we had to take (going there and coming back). American Airlines is extremely cheap too.
Since that's the worst part of the trip, that's all I'm saying about it.

Now, the first day wasn't all too fun, 'cause when we got there, in Puerto Vallarta, it was so hot! It really didn't help that we were dressed inappropiately (long pants and long-sleeved shirts... not good); also, we got there at the heat of the day. Lucky us. But, as soon as we changed, it got better.
See, the hotel we stayed at, Royal Decameron, gave us these little rubber bracelets (which we had to wear the whole time). And while wearing those, we could have almost anything we wanted, for free, in the hotel. Heheh, pretty sweet deal.

All of the days after the first one were great (although they had their moments). The room my Aunt, sister and I stayed in was right by the adults only pool, so no little kids splashing all the time and peeing in there! YAY! And there's a bar right next to every pool. Fortunately, you could order a virgin drink of pretty much anything they had. And we did, plenty of times.
There were so many different things to do, too. There were kayaks, jet skis, scuba diving, para-sailing, just plain sailing, and more (just can't think of them right now). Of course, most of the time we ended up swimming in the pool in the early morning, taking a nap in the midday when it was hottest, then maybe swim again in the evening before dinner. Even so, doing just that the whole time was plenty fun, very relaxing.

Oh, the food! Here we go!
Ahh, it was so good! There were three all-you-can-eat buffets, and five different reservation-only restaurants. I must say, breakfast became my favorite part of the eating experience. At home, I don't have much variety when it comes to breakfast, but there! Wow! Those cooks are really somethin'...
Lunch was good too. Around the time they're serving lunch at the buffets, there's this little ice-cream cart by each one. With the hot weather, that ice cream was a very delicious treat indeed.
Anyway, lunch itself was nice. Like breakfast, lots of variety, not enough time. One of my favorite lunch places was the burger joint. It's nice to have an American-type food in a foreign country. Of course, the burgers themselves were oh so good!
As far as dinner goes, we didn't eat dinners too much at the buffets. Most of the time, we ate at the restaurants. Now, I liked most of them, except for the Caribbean. Twasn't to my liking. The food was well prepared and all, but... the taste wasn't for me.
Other than that, they had steakhouse, japanese, thai, and italian restaurants. My personal favorite was the japanese one, although the name was quite silly, "Jap Jap."
Then again, the italian place did have good desserts, like the tiramisu.
The steakhouse was really great. The t-bone steaks were to die for, just too many flies in one part of the restaurant.
Needless to say, the desserts were all equally mouth-watering. My favorite was this little fudge-ball with sprinkles on it. Ooh, I must've had at least 20 of those things.

Well, that's the general over-view of the restaurant, I guess. I swear, I'm leaving something out! Oh well... now, I just want to mention a few highlights from the trip.
One of the best parts was when we went kayaking. Well, it wasn't very fun having Ducky and mom along; they slowed the rest of us down, but... it's understandable. My mom is afraid of the water, can't swim.
Anyway, what made it so cool was that I saw a manta ray in the water! Ooh, but I was the only one. I wish my dad could've at least seen it, we were in the same kayak after all.
A couple of days, we went into the actual town of Puerto Vallarta. The first time was way too hot for me; I got so frustrated, I started crying, and that was a little embarassing. Or annoying, can't figure out which. After that, I was better though. It was just... well... that day, we didn't take a tour bus or anything, we walked into town on our own and took the local buses; and my mom kept making us get off too soon, and blah blah blah...
Moving on, the town itself is gorgeous. Ahhhh, it reminds me so much of Santa Barbara. There are a bunch of shops everywhere. 92% of Puerto Vallarta's economy is from tourism, so... yeah, of course there are lots of shops. But man, as soon as you look a little interested in something, the seller is right there! It was somewhat overwhelming after so long. Heh, it was fun seeing my mom haggle with the vendors, though. She even got two wraps (or sarongs) for 200 pesos, $20. Very good deal.
The second time we went into town was on a tour bus, with a guide, thank goodness! That time was a lot more enjoyable. We learned a lot about the city on that trip.
One thing I thought hilarious was that they love Liz Taylor and Richard Harrison, and the movie Night of the Iguana, for putting them on the map. It's understandable I suppose, but still... silly.

For now, I think I'm done with my vacation explanation. Unless I think of something else interesting to mention. All in all, it was fun. Near the end, I became very homesick, but... it's an experience I may never have again. So happy we were able to go.

Now that I'm home, I have a bunch of stuff to do, meaning chores. But before I do that, I'll be catching up on what my friends have been up to. o.O That could take awhile...

Ta!

Anime Monkey!

Whelp, the day has come. My family (and I) will be leaving for Mexico tonight. By this time tomorrow, we'll actually be there, in Puerto Vallarta! Tis so exciting!
I'm pretty much done packing too, which is good! Ugh, I don't like packing, but it's gotta get done. *nods*
And I also have my carry-on bag ready. Heheh, I'm taking all my Tsubasa manga with me, just in case.
Whoo boy, I hope that plane ride isn't too scary. I can't remember ever being on one, so... I can only hope!

I won't be answering any personal messages or doing any club business until the 12th. Please, keep that in mind. I might not even get on the computer at the mentioned date, depends on how tired I am.

Make sure to check out my Anime Monkey site! For those who haven't seen it yet, I have a new club up, one me and jazie started. Tis called HOLY; if you like Scryed, and like to submit more to the hub, please click away! All the info for it is on my site already, so... yeah. Just look for the banner in my intro.
Heheh, poor jazie. She's gonna have to manage all the HOLY business while I'm gone. Good luck, friend!

Also, when I get back, I'll continue to work on all my wallpaper dedications. Heh, don't think I forgot about that; I've just been kind of busy... and a little lazy. But! Once I get back, I'll work on them again.

I think that's all I wanted to mention. I'll miss ya guys! *sniff* Ta!
