Deep in thought (or not).
Mood: Apathetic
Anime craving: Full Metal Alchemist

I wonder if anyone's ever died of stress. I know people die from heart attacks and stress-related sicknesses, but I mean stress itself. Because that's what's going to end up on my death certificate. Name: Hikari. Cause of death: Stress.

Strangely, I can't feel a thing. I've reached a beautiful point known as apathy. I don't care. I couldn't care less. A man in a dark cloak could tell me to don on spandex and save the world from certain doom and I'd tell him "Whenever I get time."

Actually, I'm too apathetic to finish this post. Meh.

*springs out of trashcan*
Mood: Comatose
Anime Craving: Naruto

Not dead. Almost died today, but didn't. I had only a bajillion things to do this week (few of which I actually got done). My Spanish oral went okay, but I kept saying helado (ice cream) instead of hielo (ice) on the last question. X__x And I missed part of lunch to do it, so I was very hungry after school. We had the most disastrous anime club meeting to date, but none of the members really seemed to care. ^^;; I feel better now, though. I ate foods and took some powerful ibuprofen.

So, for this year's major spring con, I decided to join a group of my friends doing a Bleach cosplay. I was initially going to go as Sister Rosette from Chrono Crusade, but I kind of want to go with a cosplay group for my first time. ^^ So, I think I'm going to be one of Ichigo's sisters. I wonder if anyone will recognize me. ^^;;

I feel the urge to do some photo editing. A massive urge. O__o

Fell down the stairs today. Went precisely like this: ^_^ O__o >.< ;.; No lie. Speaking of emoticons, look at my featured quiz. I think it's so true that it's eerie. ^^

Um...that's about it. I still have a ton of crap to do, but at least the stupid Spanish oral is done. ^__^

I had the odd urge to do that in the grocery store. ^^;;

SPLEEN!
Mood: Little sleepy and busy. O__o
Anime craving: InuYasha
Current song: "Silhouttes" -Smile Empty Soul

I LOVE this song. ^^

Anyway, I finally got around to the new theme. Yeah, I went mainstream, but I sort of wanted it this way. I'm really proud of the wallpaper. Yup. I made that myself! *proudproud* And I caught up on my guestbook entries. I was so pleased to get more as I was afraid it was going to die. ;.; So, m'yep. I might make it around to a few sites, but I have ANOTHER busy weekend. O__o I have a community service activity in a few hours and a HUGE group science project to finish on Monday. Not to mention the fact that I have a BIG Spanish oral next Friday, plus two anime club meetings. O__o Scary...

Oh, before I forget, I'm cleaning my Photobucket account, so some of the pictures in my archives will have broken links. Sorry. ^^;; I did manage to fix Paranoid Person's link, though. ^^ And I need to replace the FMA banner I accidently deleated. Speaking of cleaning, I get the joy of cleaning my filthy hole...er...room this weekend. It's starting to smell. O__o

Ah, ah! My review got accepted. Maybe Adam succumbed to my whining. I guess they were just delayed or something. I feel better now. ^____^ Not only that, but one of my fanfictions got a whole three more reviews! Maybe I'll squeeze some writing in this weekend. I'm thinking of freelancing with my school newspaper. Since last year's staff left, it's been sucking bad, so I might help (though I may just make it worse).

So, um...that's it! Maybe you'll see a shadow of me haunting your site a bit. ^_^

*feral growl*
Mood: Sick and disappointed
Anime craving: Fullmetal Alchemist

Okay, little more than ticked with theO at the moment. Not only has NO ONE given me ANY suggestions via PMs, but I tried to send my friend an e-card and it absolutely refused to go through, no matter how hard I tried. >.< Plus, my article got rejected. And I'm sick with the flu. And I'm tired. And the world hates me. Ugh.

I dunno why, but I can never be best at anything. I can't maintain my popularity here because I, gasp, have a life with responsibilities and duties and I actually update with something more than "Gee, I'm bored" or a quiz or whatever. I'm not trying to annoy those people who do that occasionally, but if that's all you do...I'll give you some of my homework to entertain you. I dunno. I think I'm just a little bitter that I can't be like everyone else on any level. Not a normal student, not a normal teenager, not a normal otaku... It's a little sad, huh?

Well, before I get too angsty... I think I'm just a bit irritable because I'm sick and feeling a little unloved here. ;.; I mean, I have to visit everyone's sites ALL THE TIME in order for them to post on mine at all. Ugh. I guess it's only fair, though. But, not really.

I'm gonna go before I get angry at the world again.

Ubiquitous!
Mood: Working hard or hardly working?
Anime craving: Chrno Crusade

I can't remember what that means off the top of my head, but that's okay. ^^;; Sorry I haven't been around recently. It's been hectic. I had a tooon of projects to do. Now, I'm doing okay. Just trying to work on a bit of research. ^^ I did post once on the OB (woooooo) and I added all my favorite anime to my watch list. I realized that some of them needed some TLC, so maybe I'll get around to a review or two over the weekend.

Aah, I got a Chrno Crusade DVD. It was good and I highly recommend it to everyone. The storyline is awesome and the visuals are gorgeous! I'm currently working on memorizing the opening song. ^^;; Gonna blow all my money on Chrno Crusade DVDs/manga, and DNAngel. ^^;; My friend offered to give me a manga, so I might take him up on that offer. Free manga, heck yes!

Well, I found these really interesting sites while working on my math project (which involves Japanese snacks). Take a gander:

Japanese Snacks.com
Japan Today Online (English newspaper in Japan; website currently offline)

Sorry for the lack of a true update. I really need to get going!

I= ego
Mood:
Anime craving: Last Exile

'allo, poppets! It's been awhile, huh? I'm acutally almost caught up with all the movies I got at Christmastime. Lesee, I watched Laputa: Castle in the Sky, the 1st InuYasha movie, Hero, and Nightmare Before Christmas. So, just a few more and I've watched them all! I might do some reviews for the anime movies I watch, but I haven't been feeling all that inspired lately. ^^;; Oh, and I know the nmae of theat manga now: Puppet Theatre Ayatsuri Sakon!

Augh! It started to rain and I had the windows open! I ran around closing them all to a really frantic-sounding song called "Battle" off the X soundtrack. And I finished right when the song finished... Eerie. O__o I swear I didn't plan that...

Anyway, back to reality. I was pondering something awhile ago... Why is red such a complicated color? I mean, it's used during Valentine's day to symbolize love and desire, but it also symbolizes death (it's the color of blood). Isn't that weird? And in China, it's the color of luck. Brides wear red instead of white (which is believed to be bad luck since the dead are clothed in white). Crazy, no?

Kitten update: Rocky likes pineapple. Who knew? He also likes water... O_o My dog likes apples, too. O__o

Well, I'm gonna go work on my mech...er...I mean, visit some sites. Yeah...

Proliferation of pessimism...
Mood: Distracted
Anime Craving: something Miyazaki

Still not dead. It's been a pretty busy new year so far. My birthday went swimmingly and I got the most presents ever! Lessee, I got a CCS lunch tin (along with a Kero plushie), volumes 3 and 4 of Azumanga Daioh, cards, some Puppet Theatre (Japanese word I can't spell) Sakon, the two InuYasha movies, and a Yu-Yu Hakusho DVD. I'm so thrilled! ^^ Of course, I haven't had much time to enjoy them. Classes have started and my GPA has dropped (again). And, of course, junior year grades are really important for college. Sometimes I wonder if I'd be happier just blowing off college and IB and everything. I don't think so, though. I'm the sort of person that hates giving up on anything I start. Meh. I'm too stubborn for my own good. ^^;;

Anyway, the manga I got that I can't pronounce is very good. It's a detective/mystery story, but there's puppets! See, there's this guy, Sakon, who comes from a family of respected puppeteers. He goes into a trance when he plays with puppets and transforms from a clumsy, easygoing guy into a stoic, serious detective. Sakon has his faithful friend Ukon, his puppet, to help him out (and provide some comic relief ^^). It's a pretty good series. I'll try to post the name when I remember it. ^^;;

Well, I have a lot of catching up to do. Itekimasu!

What's this?
Mood: Bum-ish
Anime craving: Rurouni Kenshin

Hey everybody! Sorry I've been slacking off lately. ^^;; There's really no excuse. >.>

I'm soo excited. I'm going out tomorrow to see a movie in celebration of my birthday. ^_^ And I get to spend the day with my cousin. ^^ Ah, excitement!

I got the .hack//SIGN soundtrack. I reccommend it highly. It's a great soundtrack, kinda soft, kinda haunting. ^^ It's wonderful!

I also played a bit of the InuYasha RPG today. Not that bad, but I kept getting lost... ^^;; And the characters are no help at all. "We're not getting anywhere." Duh! Because you're not telling me what to do. And why am I leading? I don't know where anything is! But, not too bad.

Finally got to see Nightmare Before Christmas. Such a good movie. ^___^ Definately going in as one of my favourites. I think I'll finally watch The Last Samurai tonight. ^^

Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely week. I have a lot ahead of me: my birthday, a new year's party, and visiting my grandmother. Augh! Well, I'll try to talk to you all when I can. ^^

No more Christmas music! NOOOOO!
Mood: Totally slacking off.
Anime craving: DNAngel

I'm soo bored. I shouldn't be. I vowed to get all my winter homework done before my birthday this Thursday. I think I'm just being a bum today. Bwegh. Haven't done anything besides watch TV and play video games (though, I haven't been up that long...). And I've already read all six manga I got for Christmas (though I haven't watched any of the movies I got yet).

Ah, ah! I found an RPG that I CAN do: Budokai II. Yeah, I know, not really an RPG, but I haven't lost any of my allies yet! MUAH! I also got the second InuYasha game (which is REALLY an RPG) and the Yu-Yu Hakusho game. I think I'll challenge my mom to that soon. She's a fan. A Kuwabarra fan. ^^

I'm a dismally strange child. Meh. >.> I used to enjoy washing dishes. I still clean when I'm bored or stressed. I'd rather read than watch a movie. Oh, well. Strange isn't bad, right..?

Anyway, I'll see you all later!

Cheesecake...llama...duck...
Mood: Christmas-ed
Anime craving: Kodocha

Just came by to wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a very merry one filled with all that good stuff you find written in sappy Christmas cards. On the same note, happy belated Hanukka, a goodly Yule, and a brisk Winter Solstice. Yay, diversity!

Anyway, I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. ^^
