So... I'm probably going to post later, with another bit of my story *cheers cheers* (yeah right).

but right now, I'll just say - yesterday I didn't update or visit a lot of sites because my day was hectic/uhgness. I won't elaborate because it would depress some of you more light hearted people.

Anyway - I'll go now and update later. maybe around 4:00 - maybe. but I WILL update again.

Oooooh Lolly Pop Lolly Pop ... Lolly lolly pop.
I saw an absolutely HILARIOUS movie yesterday. And then I also saw Hidalgo.
Anchorman (the first movie) was so funny my face hurt when I left the movie. Everyone should see that movie. Woooh. Funny Funny Funny.

In other news. I love Escaflowne and Kare Kano. I think those are two of my favorite anime of all time.
And Midori no Hibi is THE FUNNNIEST MANGA EVER (thanks Onokij for putting it on his site. )

Well Now.
So, I didn't update yesterday.
guess nobody noticed, eh?
Oh well.
I got up late and then had to work till 4 then I didn't get home till 5 then my best friend had to talk to me for like a long time (some shocking stuff really - that I shouldn't just air in this post) then ......... then I don't remember. At some point I decided that it would be useless to update.

Anyway. Done with the boring stuff.

You know. I really need to write another piece of that story, but I've been busy/creatively dead for a while now. Not just writers block, but it's like I blew a fuse. I feel terrible about it. -_-

Anyway (again) uhhhhhhh...... if you read my posts on like an everyother day/day basis - please leave a comment today. maybe just a "hi" because I can't all tell who actually comes here all the time.

Oh, I decided not to use one. Those things are stupid. I'm better at improvisation.

*Clenching teeth* Are you now? Well then. This instrument, which IS NOT a guitar starts with the letter "B" and rhymes with "BANJO!"

Wow. What rhymes with banjo? Sanjo Manjo Bananafana fo Fanjo! HEhehehe. I kill me.

No, I'll kill you.

Hmm?

Nothing. Nothing at all.

So.... if it's not a guitar...

Please just say banjo.

Why?

Because that's what it is!

What is it? Let's play a game.

Well. It isn't alive - at least I hope it never was. And I wouldn't eat it. I'm not THAT crazy. So. Mineral!

Right o! Okay - What is the letter of the first word in the multiple media complex dictionary for the third world from the sun?!

How was I supposed to know that?!

Ohhhhh. *looks in hand at script* Right... oh ...?
This is stupid.

Anyway. Moving on. So, it is a mineral that starts with "V". Now, what would you assume this item does?

*reading woodenly* It - looks - Muse I Cal - - oh that's ... musical. Yes, musical. ... It does?

*glaring* Yes, it does. It looks positively useful too, doesn't it?

Not really.

*kick*

OWWWW!!! Okay, sure, useful.

And now here comes the answer -

Just wait a minute.

What now?! We're ON . Can we just get this over with?

*reading script* You skipped some stuff. I'm supposed to say, "Now, to me that looks like it could be a Crustavian Manslingery Harpsicle." And then you say, "Now... who's heard of that?" In a stupid voice or something. Then I say, "Well, I was just bluffing. Of course I know what it is." Then you again, "Really, you do?"
And then I say, "It's a vibrophone! "

*smacks head* Why me?

Why you what?

Another Rumi Poem
Goodness, I LOVE this guy. Too bad he lived so freaking long ago, I'd propose marriage. Maybe I did - in a past life (only joking folks)
ANyway, here it is

Whoever Brought Me Here, Will Have To Take Me Home.

All day I think about it, then at night I say it.
Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing?
I have no idea.
My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that,
and I intend to end up there.

This drunkenness began in some other tavern.
When I get back around to that place,
I'll be completely sober. Meanwhile,
I'm like a bird from another continent, sitting in this aviary.
The day is coming when I fly off,
but who is it now in my ear who hears my voice?
Who says words with my mouth?

Who looks out with my eyes? What is the soul?
I cannot stop asking.
If I could taste one sip of an answer,
I could break out of this prison for drunks.
I didn't come here of my own accord, and I can't leave that way.
Whoever brought me here, will have to take me home.

This poetry. I never know what I'm going to say.
I don't plan it.
When I'm outside the saying of it,
I get very quiet and rarely speak at all.

Beautiful , isn't it. Sometimes I think that all poets are born with the same soul. Rumi and I definately have that. I felt so odd when I read this the first time, like he read my own heart and wrote this poem. I've tried to write this poem before, it feels like, but I've never quite achieved the simple straightforward beauty of this truth.
*sigh*
Basically, I feel Rumi is talking about feeling out of place. But more than that. Feeling like your soul doesn't belong, like everyone around you doesn't notice how off center the world is.
And, Rumi was spiritual, I'll give him that, while I'm not. So in this sense, I could think of it as "God" will take him home. But for me, it'll always be something else.


Anyway. Give me your thoughts.

Happy 5th of July
So, wondering why I said 5th?
Did I take a time warp to tomorrow land?
Or am I just crazy?

Actually - my city is celebrating tomorrow because today is a Sunday.
Yes, that's right. As stupid as some of MY suggestions up there.

Anyway, I've had ample time to get over this glaringly disgusting fact. So, I'm just going to keep all my annoyedness inside.
